AndוַYHWHיְהוָהspokeיְדַבֵּרto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהsaying,לֵּאמֹר
“And you shall sayוְ תֹּאמַרto the sonsאֶל בְּנֵיof Israel:יִשְׂרָאֵלAny manאִישׁ אִישׁof the sonsמִבְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלorוּofמִןthe resident aliensהַגֵּרwho resideהַגָּרin Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵלwhoאֲשֶׁרgives anyיִתֵּןof his offspringמִזַּרְעוֹto Molechלַמֹּלֶךְshall surelyמוֹתbe put to death;יוּמָתthe peopleעַםof the landהָאָרֶץshall stone himיִרְגְּמֻהוּwith stones.בָאָבֶן
And Iוַאֲנִיwill setאֶתֵּןmy faceאֶת פָּנַיagainst thatבָּ הַהוּאmanאִישׁand cutוְהִכְרַתִּיhimאֹתוֹoff from amongמִקֶּרֶבhis people,עַמּוֹbecauseכִּיhe has givenנָתַןsome of his offspringמִזַּרְעוֹto Molech,לַמֹּלֶךְso asלְמַעַןto make uncleanטַמֵּאmy sanctuaryאֶת מִקְדָּשִׁיand to profaneוּלְחַלֵּלmy holyקָדְשִׁיname.אֶת שֵׁם
And ifוְאִםthe peopleעַםof the landהָאָרֶץdo closeהַעְלֵם יַעְלִימוּtheir eyesאֶת עֵינֵיהֶםtoמִןthatהָ הַהוּאmanאִישׁwhen he givesבְּתִתּוֹsome of his offspringמִזַּרְעוֹto Molech,לַמֹּלֶךְso as notלְבִלְתִּיto putהָמִיתhimאֹתוֹto death,הָמִית
then Iוְ אֲנִיwill setשַׂמְתִּיmy faceאֶת פָּנַיagainst thatבָּ הַהוּאmanאִישׁand against his clan,וּבְמִשְׁפַּחְתּוֹand I will cut offוְהִכְרַתִּיhimאֹתוֹandוְאֵתallכָּלwho prostitute themselvesהַזֹּנִיםafter him,אַחֲרָיוprostituting themselvesלִזְנוֹתafterאַחֲרֵיMolech,הַמֹּלֶךְfrom amongמִקֶּרֶבtheir people.עַמָּם
And the personוְהַנֶּפֶשׁwhoאֲשֶׁרturnsתִּפְנֶהtoאֶלthose who call up the deadהָאֹבֹתand toוְאֶלspiritists,הַיִּדְּעֹנִיםprostituting themselvesלִזְנוֹתafter them,אַחֲרֵיהֶםI will setוְנָתַתִּיmy faceאֶת פָּנַיagainst thatבַּ הַהִואpersonנֶּפֶשׁand cutוְהִכְרַתִּיhimאֹתוֹoff from amongמִקֶּרֶבhis people.עַמּוֹ
So sanctify yourselvesוְהִתְקַדִּשְׁתֶּםand beוִהְיִיתֶםholy,קְדֹשִׁיםforכִּיIאֲנִיam YHWHיְהוָהyour Elohim.אֱלֹהֵיכֶם
And you shall keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּםmy statutesאֶת חֻקֹּתַיand doוַעֲשִׂיתֶםthem.אֹתָםIאֲנִיam YHWH,יְהוָהwho sanctifiesמְקַדִּשְׁyou.כֶם
Forכִּיany manאִישׁ אִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרcursesיְקַלֵּלhis fatherאֶת אָבִיוor his motherוְאֶת אִמּוֹshall surelyמוֹתbe put to death;יוּמָתhe has cursedקִלֵּלhis fatherאָבִיוor his mother;וְאִמּוֹhis blood isדָּמָיוon him.בּוֹ
And a manוְאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרcommits adulteryיִנְאַףwithאֶתthe wifeאֵשֶׁתof a man,אִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרcommits adulteryיִנְאַףwithאֶתthe wifeאֵשֶׁתof his neighbor,רֵעֵהוּshall surelyמוֹתbe put to death,יוּמַתthe adultererהַנֹּאֵףand the adulteress.וְהַנֹּאָפֶת
And a manוְאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרliesיִשְׁכַּבwithאֶתhis father’sאָבִיוwifeאֵשֶׁתhas uncoveredגִּלָּהhis father’sאָבִיוnakedness;עֶרְוַתbothשְׁנֵיהֶםof them shall surelyמוֹתbe put to death;יוּמְתוּtheir blood isדְּמֵיהֶםon them.בָּם
And a manוְאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרliesיִשְׁכַּבwithאֶתhis daughter-in-law,כַּלָּתוֹbothשְׁנֵיהֶםof them shall surelyמוֹתbe put to death;יוּמְתוּthey have doneעָשׂוּperversion;תֶּבֶלtheir blood isדְּמֵיהֶםon them.בָּם
And a manוְאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרliesיִשְׁכַּבwithאֶתa maleזָכָרas one liesמִשְׁכְּבֵיwith a woman,אִשָּׁהbothשְׁנֵיהֶםof them have doneעָשׂוּan abomination;תּוֹעֵבָהthey shall surelyמוֹתbe put to death;יוּמָתוּtheir blood isדְּמֵיהֶםon them.בָּם
And a manוְאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרtakesיִקַּחa womanאֶת אִשָּׁהand her motherוְאֶת אִמָּהּ— itהִואis infamy;זִמָּהthey shall burnיִשְׂרְפוּhimאֹתוֹand themוְאֶתְהֶןin the fire,בָּאֵשׁso that there may notוְלֹאbeתִהְיֶהinfamyזִמָּהamong you.בְּתוֹכְכֶם
And a manוְאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרliesיִתֵּן שְׁכָבְתּוֹwith a beastבִּבְהֵמָהshall surelyמוֹתbe put to death,יוּמָתand you shall killוְ תַּהֲרֹגוּthe beast.אֶת הַבְּהֵמָה
And a womanוְאִשָּׁהwhoאֲשֶׁרapproachesתִּקְרַבanyאֶל כָּלbeastבְּהֵמָהto mateלְרִבְעָהwith it,אֹתָהּyou shall killוְהָרַגְתָּthe womanאֶת הָאִשָּׁהandוְאֶתthe beast;הַבְּהֵמָהthey shall surelyמוֹתbe put to death;יוּמָתוּtheir blood isדְּמֵיהֶםon them.בָּם
And a manוְאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרtakesיִקַּחhis sister,אֶת אֲחֹתוֹthe daughterבַּתof his fatherאָבִיוorאוֹthe daughterבַתof his mother,אִמּוֹand seesוְרָאָהher nakedness,אֶת עֶרְוָתָהּand sheוְהִיאseesתִרְאֶהhis nakedness,אֶת עֶרְוָתוֹitהוּאis a disgrace,חֶסֶדand they shall be cut offוְנִכְרְתוּbefore the eyesלְעֵינֵיof the sonsבְּנֵיof their people.עַמָּםHe has uncoveredגִּלָּהhis sister’sאֲחֹתוֹnakedness;עֶרְוַתhe shall bearיִשָּׂאhis iniquity.עֲוֺנוֹ
And a manוְאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרliesיִשְׁכַּבwithאֶתa womanאִשָּׁהin her sicknessדָּוָהand uncoversוְגִלָּהher nakednessאֶת עֶרְוָתָהּhas laid bareהֶעֱרָהher fountain,אֶת מְקֹרָהּand sheוְהִיאhas uncoveredגִּלְּתָהthe fountainאֶת מְקוֹרof her blood;דָּמֶיהָbothשְׁנֵיהֶםof them shall be cut offוְנִכְרְתוּfrom amongמִקֶּרֶבtheir people.עַמָּם
And the nakednessוְעֶרְוַתof your mother’sאִמְּךָsisterאֲחוֹתorוַof your father’sאָבִיךָsisterאֲחוֹתyou shall notלֹאuncover,תְגַלֵּהforכִּיthat is laying bareהֶעֱרָהone’s own close relative;אֶת שְׁאֵרוֹthey shall bearיִשָּׂאוּtheir iniquity.עֲוֺנָם
And a manוְאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרliesיִשְׁכַּבwithאֶתhis auntדֹּדָתוֹhas uncoveredגִּלָּהhis uncle’sדֹּדוֹnakedness;עֶרְוַתthey shall bearיִשָּׂאוּtheir sin;חֶטְאָםthey shall dieיָמֻתוּchildless.עֲרִירִים
And a manוְאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרtakesיִקַּחhis brother’sאָחִיוwife,אֶת אֵשֶׁתitהִואis impurity;נִדָּהhe has uncoveredגִּלָּהhis brother’sאָחִיוnakedness;עֶרְוַתthey shall beיִהְיוּchildless.עֲרִירִים
So you shall keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּםallאֶת כָּלmy statutesחֻקֹּתַיandוְallאֶת כָּלmy rulesמִשְׁפָּטַיand doוַעֲשִׂיתֶםthem,אֹתָםso that the landוְ הָאָרֶץto whichאֲשֶׁר שָׁמָּהIאֲנִיam bringingמֵבִיאyouאֶתְכֶםto liveלָשֶׁבֶתin itבָּהּdoes notלֹאvomitתָקִיאyouאֶתְכֶםout.תָקִיא
And you shall notוְלֹאwalkתֵלְכוּin the statutesבְּחֻקֹּתof the nationהַגּוֹיthatאֲשֶׁרIאֲנִיam driving outמְשַׁלֵּחַbefore you,מִפְּנֵיכֶםforכִּיthey didעָשׂוּallאֶת כָּלthese things,אֵלֶּהand I loathedוָאָקֻץthem.בָּם
But I saidוָאֹמַרto you,לָכֶם‘Youאַתֶּםshall possessתִּירְשׁוּtheir ground,אֶת אַדְמָתָםand Iוַאֲנִיwill give itאֶתְּנֶנָּהto youלָכֶםto possessלָרֶשֶׁתit,אֹתָהּa landאֶרֶץflowingזָבַתwith milkחָלָבand honey.’וּדְבָשׁIאֲנִיam YHWHיְהוָהyour Elohim,אֱלֹהֵיכֶםwhoאֲשֶׁרhave separatedהִבְדַּלְתִּיyouאֶתְכֶםfromמִןthe peoples.הָעַמִּים
So you shall separateוְהִבְדַּלְתֶּםbetweenבֵּיןthe cleanהַטְּהֹרָהbeastהַבְּהֵמָהand the unclean,לַטְּמֵאָהand betweenוּבֵיןthe uncleanהַטָּמֵאbirdהָעוֹףand the clean;לַטָּהֹרand you shall notוְלֹאmakeתְשַׁקְּצוּyourselvesאֶת נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶםdetestableתְשַׁקְּצוּby beastבַּבְּהֵמָהor by birdוּבָעוֹףor by anythingוּבְכֹלthatאֲשֶׁרcreepsתִּרְמֹשׂon the ground,הָאֲדָמָהwhichאֲשֶׁרI have separatedהִבְדַּלְתִּיfor youלָכֶםas unclean.לְטַמֵּא
And you shall beוִהְיִיתֶםholyקְדֹשִׁיםto me,לִיforכִּיI,אֲנִיYHWH,יְהוָהam holy,קָדוֹשׁand I have separatedוָאַבְדִּלyouאֶתְכֶםfromמִןthe peoplesהָעַמִּיםto beלִהְיוֹתmine.לִי
And a manוְאִישׁorאוֹa womanאִשָּׁהin whomכִּי בָהֶםthere isיִהְיֶהa spirit of the deadאוֹבorאוֹa spirit of divinationיִדְּעֹנִיshall surelyמוֹתbe put to death;יוּמָתוּthey shall stoneיִרְגְּמוּthemאֹתָםwith stones;בָּאֶבֶןtheir blood isדְּמֵיהֶםon them.”בָּם
