It would be betterλυσιτελεῖfor himαὐτῷifεἰa millstoneλίθος μυλικὸςwere hungπερίκειταιaroundπερὶhisαὐτοῦneckτὸν τράχηλονandκαὶhe were thrownἔρριπταιintoεἰςthe seaτὴν θάλασσανthanἢthatἵναhe should causeσκανδαλίσῃoneἕναof theseτούτωνlittle onesτῶν μικρῶνto stumble.σκανδαλίσῃ
Watchπροσέχετεyourselves!ἑαυτοῖςIfἐὰνyour brotherὁ ἀδελφός σουsins,ἁμάρτῃrebukeἐπιτίμησονhim,αὐτῷandκαὶifἐὰνhe changes his mind,μετανοήσῃforgiveἄφεςhim.αὐτῷ
Andκαὶifἐὰνseven timesἑπτάκιςa dayτῆς ἡμέραςhe sinsἁμαρτήσῃagainstεἰςyouσὲandκαὶseven timesἑπτάκιςturns backἐπιστρέψῃtoπρὸςyou,σὲsaying,λέγων‘I change my mind,’Μετανοῶyou will forgiveἀφήσειςhim.”αὐτῷ
AndΚαὶthe apostlesοἱ ἀπόστολοιsaidεἶπανto the Lord,τῷ κυρίῳ“AddΠρόσθεςfaithπίστινto us!”ἡμῖν
Andδὲthe Lordὁ κύριοςsaid,εἶπεν“IfΕἰyou haveἔχετεfaithπίστινlikeὡςa grainκόκκονof mustard seed,σινάπεωςyou would sayἐλέγετε ἂνto thisτῇ ταύτῃmulberry tree,συκαμίνῳ‘Be uprootedἘκριζώθητιandκαὶbe plantedφυτεύθητιinἐνthe sea,’τῇ θαλάσσῃandκαὶit would obeyὑπήκουσεν ἂνyou.ὑμῖν
“WhichΤίςofἐξyou,ὑμῶνhavingἔχωνa slaveδοῦλονplowingἀροτριῶνταorἢtending sheep,ποιμαίνονταis therewhoὃςwill sayἐρεῖto himαὐτῷwhen he has come inεἰσελθόντιfromἐκthe field,τοῦ ἀγροῦ‘Comeπαρελθὼνat onceΕὐθέωςand recline at table’?ἀνάπεσε
Will he notοὐχὶratherἀλλ’sayἐρεῖto him,αὐτῷ‘PrepareἙτοίμασονwhatτίI may have for supper,δειπνήσωandκαὶtie up your robeπεριζωσάμενοςand serveδιακόνειmeμοιwhileἕωςI eatφάγωandκαὶdrink,πίωandκαὶafterμετὰthatταῦταyouσύwill eatφάγεσαιandκαὶdrink’?πίεσαι
He does notμὴthankἔχει χάρινthe slaveτῷ δούλῳbecauseὅτιhe didἐποίησενthe things commanded,τὰ διαταχθένταdoes he?
Soοὕτωςyouὑμεῖςalso,καὶwhenὅτανyou have doneποιήσητεallπάνταthe thingsτὰcommandedδιαταχθένταyou,ὑμῖνsay,λέγετε‘We areἐσμενworthlessἀχρεῖοίslaves;Δοῦλοιwhatὃwe oughtὠφείλομενto doποιῆσαιwe have done.’”πεποιήκαμεν
AndΚαὶit happened,ἐγένετοasἐν τῷhe was goingπορεύεσθαιtoεἰςJerusalem,Ἰερουσαλὴμthatheαὐτὸςwas passingδιήρχετοbetweenδιὰ μέσονSamariaΣαμαρείαςandκαὶGalilee.Γαλιλαίας
Andκαὶas heαὐτοῦwas enteringεἰσερχομένουintoεἴςa certainτιναvillage,κώμηνtenδέκαleprousλεπροὶmenἄνδρεςmet him,ἀπήντησανwhoοἳstoodἔστησανat a distance.πόρρωθεν
Andκαὶtheyαὐτοὶraisedἦρανtheir voice,φωνὴνsaying,λέγοντες“Jesus,ἸησοῦMaster,ἐπιστάταhave mercyἐλέησονon us!”ἡμᾶς
Andκαὶseeing them,ἰδὼνhe saidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“GoΠορευθέντεςand showἐπιδείξατεyourselvesἑαυτοὺςto the priests.”τοῖς ἱερεῦσινAndκαὶit happenedἐγένετοthat asἐν τῷtheyαὐτοὺςwere going,ὑπάγεινthey were cleansed.ἐκαθαρίσθησαν
Andδὲoneεἷςofἐξthem,αὐτῶνseeingἰδὼνthatὅτιhe had been healed,ἰάθηturned back,ὑπέστρεψενglorifyingδοξάζωνGodτὸν θεόνwithμετὰa loudμεγάληςvoice;φωνῆς
andκαὶhe fellἔπεσενonἐπὶhis faceπρόσωπονatπαρὰhisαὐτοῦfeet,τοὺς πόδαςgiving thanksεὐχαριστῶνto him;αὐτῷandκαὶheαὐτὸςwasἦνa Samaritan.Σαμαρίτης
AndδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςansweredἀποκριθεὶςand said,εἶπεν“Were notΟὐχὶthe tenοἱ δέκαcleansed?ἐκαθαρίσθησανButδὲthe nine,οἱ ἐννέαwhere are they?ποῦ
Were there noneοὐχfoundεὑρέθησανreturningὑποστρέψαντεςto giveδοῦναιgloryδόξανto Godτῷ θεῷexceptεἰ μὴthisοὗτοςforeigner?”ὁ ἀλλογενὴς
Andκαὶhe saidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“Get upἈναστὰςand go;πορεύουyour faithἡ πίστις σουhas savedσέσωκένyou.”σε
Andδὲbeing askedἘπερωτηθεὶςbyὑπὸthe Phariseesτῶν Φαρισαίωνwhenπότεthe kingdomἡ βασιλείαof Godτοῦ θεοῦwas coming,ἔρχεταιhe answeredἀπεκρίθηthemαὐτοῖςandκαὶsaid,εἶπεν“The kingdomἡ βασιλείαof Godτοῦ θεοῦis notΟὐκcomingἔρχεταιin a wayμετὰthat can be observed,παρατηρήσεως
norοὐδὲwill they say,ἐροῦσιν‘Look,Ἰδοὺhere!’ὧδεorἤ‘There!’ἘκεῖForγὰρlook,ἰδοὺthe kingdomἡ βασιλείαof Godτοῦ θεοῦisἐστινamongἐντὸςyou.”ὑμῶν
Andδὲhe saidΕἶπενtoπρὸςthe disciples,τοὺς μαθητάς“Daysἡμέραιwill comeἘλεύσονταιwhenὅτεyou will longἐπιθυμήσετεto seeἰδεῖνoneμίανof the daysτῶν ἡμερῶνof the Sonτοῦ υἱοῦof Man,τοῦ ἀνθρώπουandκαὶyou will notοὐκsee it.ὄψεσθε
Andκαὶthey will sayἐροῦσινto you,ὑμῖν‘Look,Ἰδοὺthere!ἐκεῖLook,Ἰδοὺhere!’ὧδεDo notμὴgo offἀπέλθητεnorμηδὲrun after them.διώξητε
Forγὰρjust asὥσπερthe lightning,ἡ ἀστραπὴflashingἀστράπτουσαfromἐκthe regionτῆςunderὑπὸheaven,τὸν οὐρανὸνshinesλάμπειtoεἰςthe regionτὴνunderὑπ’heaven,οὐρανὸνsoοὕτωςwill beἔσταιthe Sonὁ υἱὸςof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουinἐνhis day.τῇ ἡμέρᾳ αὐτοῦ
Butδὲfirstπρῶτονheαὐτὸνmustδεῖsufferπαθεῖνmany thingsπολλὰandκαὶbe rejectedἀποδοκιμασθῆναιbyἀπὸthisταύτηςgeneration.τῆς γενεᾶς
Andκαὶjust asκαθὼςit wasἐγένετοinἐνthe daysταῖς ἡμέραιςof Noah,Νῶεsoοὕτωςit will beἔσταιalsoκαὶinἐνthe daysταῖς ἡμέραιςof the Sonτοῦ υἱοῦof Man:τοῦ ἀνθρώπου
they were eating,ἤσθιονthey were drinking,ἔπινονthey were marrying,ἐγάμουνthey were being given in marriage,ἐγαμίζοντοuntilἄχριthe dayἡμέραςon whichἧςNoahΝῶεenteredεἰσῆλθενintoεἰςthe ark,τὴν κιβωτόνandκαὶthe floodὁ κατακλυσμὸςcameἦλθενandκαὶdestroyedἀπώλεσενthem all.πάντας
Likewise,ὁμοίωςjust asκαθὼςit wasἐγένετοinἐνthe daysταῖς ἡμέραιςof Lot:Λώτthey were eating,ἤσθιονthey were drinking,ἔπινονthey were buying,ἠγόραζονthey were selling,ἐπώλουνthey were planting,ἐφύτευονthey were building;ᾠκοδόμουν
butδὲon the dayἡμέρᾳthatᾗLotΛὼτwent outἐξῆλθενfromἀπὸSodom,Σοδόμωνit rainedἔβρεξενfireπῦρandκαὶsulfurθεῖονfromἀπ’heavenοὐρανοῦandκαὶdestroyedἀπώλεσενthem all.πάντας
It will beἔσταιthe same wayκατὰ τὰ αὐτὰon the dayἡμέρᾳthatᾗthe Sonὁ υἱὸςof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουis revealed.ἀποκαλύπτεται
Onἐνthatἐκείνῃday,τῇ ἡμέρᾳthe one whoὃςisἔσταιonἐπὶthe housetop,τοῦ δώματοςandκαὶhisαὐτοῦgoodsτὰ σκεύηinἐνthe house,τῇ οἰκίᾳmust notμὴcome downκαταβάτωto takeἆραιthem;αὐτάandκαὶlikewiseὁμοίωςthe oneὁinἐνthe fieldἀγρῷmust notμὴturn backἐπιστρεψάτωtoεἰςthe thingsτὰbehind.ὀπίσω
RememberμνημονεύετεLot’sΛώτwife.τῆς γυναικὸς
Whoeverὃς ἐὰνseeksζητήσῃto preserveπεριποιήσασθαιhisαὐτοῦlifeτὴν ψυχὴνwill loseἀπολέσειit,αὐτήνbutδ’whoeverὃς ἂνloses itἀπολέσῃwill keepζῳογονήσειitαὐτήνalive.ζῳογονήσει
I tellλέγωyou,ὑμῖνon thisταύτῃnightτῇ νυκτὶthere will beἔσονταιtwoδύοonἐπὶoneμιᾶςbed;κλίνηςthe oneὁ εἷςwill be takenπαραλημφθήσεταιandκαὶthe otherὁ ἕτεροςwill be left.ἀφεθήσεται
There will beἔσονταιtwoδύοwomengrindingἀλήθουσαιtogether;ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτόthe oneἡ μίαwill be takenπαραλημφθήσεταιbutδὲthe otherἡ ἑτέραwill be left.”ἀφεθήσεται
Two will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
Andκαὶanswering,ἀποκριθέντεςthey sayλέγουσινto him,αὐτῷ“Where,ΠοῦLord?”κύριεAndδὲheὁsaidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“WhereὍπουthe body is,τὸ σῶμαthereἐκεῖalsoκαὶthe vulturesοἱ ἀετοὶwill be gathered together.”ἐπισυναχθήσονται
