Luke 23:1-5

1And the whole multitude of them rose up and brought him before Pilate. 2And they began to accuse him, saying, “We found this man perverting our nation and forbidding people to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Messiah, a king.” 3And Pilate asked him, saying, “Are you the King of the Jews?” And he answered him and said, “You say so.” 4And Pilate said to the high priests and the crowds, “I find no guilt in this man.” 5But they kept insisting, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, and beginning from Galilee as far as here.”

Matthew 27:1-2

1When morning came, all the high priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus so as to put him to death. 2And they bound him and led him away and handed him over to Pilate the governor.

Matthew 27:11-14

11Now Jesus stood before the governor; and the governor asked him, saying, “Are you the King of the Jews?” And Jesus said, “You say so.” 12And while he was being accused by the high priests and elders, he answered nothing. 13Then Pilate says to him, “Do you not hear how many things they testify against you?” 14And he did not answer him with regard to even one word, so that the governor was greatly amazed.

Mark 15:1-5

1And at once, early in the morning, the high priests, having held a council with the elders and scribes and the whole council, bound Jesus, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate. 2And Pilate questioned him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” And he answers him, saying, “You say so.” 3And the high priests were accusing him of many things. 4And Pilate again was questioning him, saying, “Do you not answer anything? See how many things they are accusing you of.” 5But Jesus no longer answered anything, so that Pilate was amazed.

John 18:28-38

28So they lead Jesus from Caiaphas to the praetorium. It was early. And they themselves did not enter into the praetorium, so that they would not be defiled but could eat the Passover. 29So Pilate went outside to them and says, “What accusation do you bring against this man?” 30They answered and said to him, “If this man were not doing evil, we would not have handed him over to you.” 31So Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves and judge him according to your law.” The Jews said to him, “It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death.” 32This was so that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled that he had spoken, showing by what kind of death he was going to die. 33So Pilate entered the praetorium again and called Jesus and said to him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” 34Jesus answered, “Do you say this of your own accord, or did others tell you about me?” 35Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the high priests handed you over to me. What have you done?” 36Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my officers would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not from here.” 37So Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” 38Pilate says to him, “What is truth?” And having said this, he went out again to the Jews and says to them, “I find no ground for a charge in him.
