AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“Do you seeΒλέπειςtheseταύταςgreatτὰς μεγάλαςbuildings?οἰκοδομάςThere will neverοὐ μὴbe leftἀφεθῇhereὧδεa stoneλίθοςonἐπὶa stoneλίθονthatὃςwill notοὐ μὴbe torn down.”καταλυθῇ
AndΚαὶas heαὐτοῦwas sittingκαθημένουonεἰςthe Mountτὸ Ὄροςof Olivesτῶν Ἐλαιῶνoppositeκατέναντιthe temple,τοῦ ἱεροῦPeterΠέτροςandκαὶJamesἸάκωβοςandκαὶJohnἸωάννηςandκαὶAndrewἈνδρέαςwere askingἐπηρώταhimαὐτὸνprivately,κατ’ ἰδίαν
“TellΕἰπὸνus,ἡμῖνwhenπότεwillἔσταιthese thingsταῦταbe,ἔσταιandκαὶwhatτίwill bethe signτὸ σημεῖονwhenὅτανallπάνταthese thingsταῦταare aboutμέλλῃto be accomplished?”συντελεῖσθαι
AndδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςbeganἤρξατοto sayλέγεινto them,αὐτοῖς“Watch outΒλέπετεthat noμήoneτιςleadsπλανήσῃyouὑμᾶςastray.πλανήσῃ
Manyπολλοὶwill comeἐλεύσονταιinἐπὶmy name,τῷ ὀνόματί μουsaying,λέγοντες‘IἘγώam he,’εἰμιandκαὶthey will leadπλανήσουσινmanyπολλοὺςastray.πλανήσουσιν
Andδὲwhenὅτανyou hearἀκούσητεof warsπολέμουςandκαὶreportsἀκοὰςof wars,πολέμωνdo notμὴbe alarmed;θροεῖσθεthismustδεῖhappen,γενέσθαιbutἀλλ’the endτὸ τέλοςisnot yet.οὔπω
Forγὰρnationἔθνοςwill riseἐγερθήσεταιagainstἐπ’nation,ἔθνοςandκαὶkingdomβασιλείαagainstἐπὶkingdom;βασιλείανthere will beἔσονταιearthquakesσεισμοὶinκατὰvarious places;τόπουςthere will beἔσονταιfamines.λιμοίThese thingsταῦταare thebeginningἀρχὴof birth pains.ὠδίνων
Butδὲwatchβλέπετεyourselves;ὑμεῖς ἑαυτούςthey will handπαραδώσουσινyouὑμᾶςoverπαραδώσουσινtoεἰςcouncils,συνέδριαandκαὶinεἰςsynagoguesσυναγωγὰςyou will be beaten,δαρήσεσθεandκαὶbeforeἐπὶgovernorsἡγεμόνωνandκαὶkingsβασιλέωνyou will standσταθήσεσθεfor the sake ofἕνεκενme,ἐμοῦasεἰςa testimonyμαρτύριονto them.αὐτοῖς
Andκαὶfirstπρῶτονthe good newsτὸ εὐαγγέλιονmustδεῖbe proclaimedκηρυχθῆναιtoεἰςallπάνταthe nations.τὰ ἔθνη
Andκαὶwhenὅτανthey leadἄγωσινyouὑμᾶςaway,handing you over,παραδιδόντεςdo notμὴworry beforehandπρομεριμνᾶτεwhatτίyou are to say,λαλήσητεbutἀλλ’whateverὃ ἐὰνis givenδοθῇyouὑμῖνinἐνthatἐκείνῃhour,τῇ ὥρᾳsayλαλεῖτεthat;τοῦτοforγάρit isἐστεnotοὐyouὑμεῖςwhoοἱare speaking,λαλοῦντεςbutἀλλὰthe Holy Spirit.τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον
Andκαὶbrotherἀδελφὸςwill hand overπαραδώσειbrotherἀδελφὸνtoεἰςdeath,θάνατονandκαὶa fatherπατὴρhischild;τέκνονandκαὶchildrenτέκναwill rise upἐπαναστήσονταιagainstἐπὶparentsγονεῖςandκαὶhaveθανατώσουσινthemαὐτούςput to death.θανατώσουσιν
Andκαὶyou will beἔσεσθεhatedμισούμενοιbyὑπὸallπάντωνbecause ofδιὰmy name.τὸ ὄνομά μουButδὲthe one whoὁenduresὑπομείναςtoεἰςthe end,τέλοςthis oneοὗτοςwill be saved.σωθήσεται
ButδὲwhenὍτανyou seeἴδητεthe abominationτὸ βδέλυγμαof desolationτῆς ἐρημώσεωςstandingἑστηκόταwhereὅπουit should notοὐ δεῖbe(let the readerὁ ἀναγινώσκωνunderstand),νοείτωthenτότεlet thoseοἱinἐνJudeaτῇ Ἰουδαίᾳfleeφευγέτωσανtoεἰςthe mountains;τὰ ὄρη
let the oneὁonἐπὶthe housetopτοῦ δώματοςnotμὴcome downκαταβάτωnorμηδὲgo inεἰσελθάτωto takeἆραιanythingτιout ofἐκhis house;τῆς οἰκίας αὐτοῦ
andκαὶlet the oneὁinεἰςthe fieldτὸν ἀγρὸνnotμὴturnἐπιστρεψάτωbackεἰς τὰ ὀπίσωto takeἆραιhis cloak.τὸ ἱμάτιον αὐτοῦ
Butδὲwoeοὐαὶto those whoταῖςare pregnantἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσαιςandκαὶto those whoταῖςare nursingθηλαζούσαιςinἐνthoseἐκείναιςdays!ταῖς ἡμέραις
Andδὲprayπροσεύχεσθεthatἵναit may notμὴhappenγένηταιin winter.χειμῶνος
Forγὰρthoseἐκεῖναιdaysαἱ ἡμέραιwill beἔσονταιa time ofafflictionθλῖψιςsuchτοιαύτηasοἵαhas notοὐhappenedγέγονενfromἀπ’the beginningἀρχῆςof the creationκτίσεωςthatἣνGodὁ θεὸςcreatedἔκτισενuntilἕωςnow,τοῦ νῦνandκαὶneverοὐ μὴwill be.γένηται
Andκαὶifεἰthe Lordκύριοςhad notμὴcut shortἐκολόβωσενthe days,τὰς ἡμέραςnoοὐκ πᾶσαfleshσάρξwould have been saved;ἂν ἐσώθηbutἀλλὰfor the sake ofδιὰthe chosen,τοὺς ἐκλεκτοὺςwhomοὓςhe chose,ἐξελέξατοhe cut shortἐκολόβωσενthe days.τὰς ἡμέρας
Andκαὶthen,τότεifἐάνanyoneτιςsaysεἴπῃto you,ὑμῖν‘Look,Ἴδεhere isὧδεthe Messiah!’ὁ χριστόςor‘Look,Ἴδεthere!’ἐκεῖdo notμὴbelieve it.πιστεύετε
Forγὰρfalse messiahsψευδόχριστοιandκαὶfalse prophetsψευδοπροφῆταιwill ariseἐγερθήσονταιandκαὶwill performδώσουσινsignsσημεῖαandκαὶwondersτέραταtoπρὸς τὸlead astray,ἀποπλανᾶνifεἰpossible,δυνατὸνthe chosen.τοὺς ἐκλεκτούς
Butδὲyou,ὑμεῖςwatch out;βλέπετεI have toldπροείρηκαyouὑμῖνeverythingπάνταbeforehand.προείρηκα
ButἈλλὰinἐνthoseἐκείναιςdays,ταῖς ἡμέραιςafterμετὰthatἐκείνηνaffliction,τὴν θλῖψινthe sunὁ ἥλιοςwill be darkened,σκοτισθήσεταιandκαὶthe moonἡ σελήνηwill notοὐgiveδώσειits light,τὸ φέγγος αὐτῆς
andκαὶthe starsοἱ ἀστέρεςwill beἔσονταιfallingπίπτοντεςfromἐκheaven,τοῦ οὐρανοῦandκαὶthe powersαἱ δυνάμειςthat areαἱinἐνthe heavensτοῖς οὐρανοῖςwill be shaken.σαλευθήσονται
Andκαὶthenτότεthey will seeὄψονταιthe Sonτὸν υἱὸνof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουcomingἐρχόμενονinἐνcloudsνεφέλαιςwithμετὰgreatπολλῆςpowerδυνάμεωςandκαὶglory.δόξης
Andκαὶthenτότεhe will send outἀποστελεῖthe angelsτοὺς ἀγγέλουςandκαὶgather togetherἐπισυνάξειthe chosenτοὺς ἐκλεκτοὺςfromἐκthe fourτῶν τεσσάρωνwinds,ἀνέμωνfromἀπ’the endἄκρουof the earthγῆςtoἕωςthe endἄκρουof heaven.οὐρανοῦ
NowδὲfromἈπὸthe fig treeτῆς συκῆςlearnμάθετεthe parable:τὴν παραβολήνwhenὅτανitsαὐτῆςbranchὁ κλάδοςhas alreadyἤδηbecomeγένηταιtenderἁπαλὸςandκαὶputs outἐκφύῃits leaves,τὰ φύλλαyou knowγινώσκετεthatὅτιsummerτὸ θέροςisἐστίνnear.ἐγγὺς
Soοὕτωςyouὑμεῖςtoo,καὶwhenὅτανyou seeἴδητεthese thingsταῦταhappening,γινόμεναknowγινώσκετεthatὅτιhe isἐστινnear,ἐγγύςatἐπὶthe doors.θύραις
TrulyἀμὴνI tellλέγωyouὑμῖνthatὅτιthisαὕτηgenerationἡ γενεὰwill certainly notοὐ μὴpass awayπαρέλθῃuntilμέχρις οὗallπάνταthese thingsταῦταhappen.γένηται
Heavenὁ οὐρανὸςandκαὶearthἡ γῆwill pass away,παρελεύσονταιbutδὲmy wordsοἱ λόγοι μουwill neverοὐ μὴpass away.παρελεύσονται
ButδὲconcerningΠερὶthatἐκείνηςdayτῆς ἡμέραςorἢthe hourτῆς ὥραςno oneοὐδεὶςknows,οἶδενnot evenοὐδὲthe angelsοἱ ἄγγελοιinἐνheaven,οὐρανῷnorοὐδὲthe Son,ὁ υἱόςbut onlyεἰ μὴthe Father.ὁ πατήρ
Watch out,βλέπετεstay awake;ἀγρυπνεῖτεforγὰρyou do notοὐκknowοἴδατεwhenπότεthe timeὁ καιρόςis.ἐστιν
It islikeὡςa manἄνθρωποςaway on a journey,ἀπόδημοςwho leftἀφεὶςhis houseτὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦandκαὶgaveδοὺςhis slavesτοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦauthority,τὴν ἐξουσίανto eachἑκάστῳhis work,τὸ ἔργον αὐτοῦandκαὶcommandedἐνετείλατοthe doorkeeperτῷ θυρωρῷtoἵναkeep watch.γρηγορῇ
Soοὖνkeep watch,γρηγορεῖτεforγὰρyou do notοὐκknowοἴδατεwhenπότεthe masterὁ κύριοςof the houseτῆς οἰκίαςis coming,ἔρχεταιwhetherἢin the evening,ὀψὲorἢat midnight,μεσονύκτιονorἢat cockcrow,ἀλεκτοροφωνίαςorἢearly in the morning;πρωΐ
lestμὴhe comeἐλθὼνsuddenlyἐξαίφνηςand findεὕρῃyouὑμᾶςsleeping.καθεύδοντας
AndδὲwhatὃI sayλέγωto youὑμῖνI sayλέγωto all:πᾶσινkeep watch.”γρηγορεῖτε
