Andκαὶat the seasonτῷ καιρῷhe sentἀπέστειλενa slaveδοῦλονtoπρὸςthe tenants,τοὺς γεωργοὺςso thatἵναhe might receiveλάβῃfromπαρὰthe tenantsτῶν γεωργῶνsomeἀπὸof the fruitτῶν καρπῶνof the vineyard.τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος
Andκαὶthey tookλαβόντεςhim,αὐτὸνbeat him,ἔδειρανandκαὶsent him awayἀπέστειλανempty-handed.κενόν
Andκαὶagainπάλινhe sentἀπέστειλενtoπρὸςthemαὐτοὺςanotherἄλλονslave;δοῦλονand that oneκἀκεῖνονthey struck on the headἐκεφαλίωσανandκαὶtreated shamefully.ἠτίμασαν
Andκαὶhe sentἀπέστειλενanother,ἄλλονand that oneκἀκεῖνονthey killed;ἀπέκτεινανandκαὶmanyπολλοὺςothers,ἄλλουςsomeοὓς μὲνbeatingδέροντεςandδὲsomeοὓςkilling.ἀποκτέννοντες
He stillἔτιhadεἶχενone,ἕναa belovedἀγαπητόνson;υἱὸνhe sentἀπέστειλενhimαὐτὸνlastἔσχατονtoπρὸςthem,αὐτοὺςsaying,λέγων‘They will respectἘντραπήσονταιmy son.’τὸν υἱόν μου
Butδὲthoseἐκεῖνοιtenantsοἱ γεωργοὶsaidεἶπανtoπρὸςone another,ἑαυτοὺς‘ThisΟὗτόςisἐστινthe heir;ὁ κληρονόμοςcome,δεῦτεlet us killἀποκτείνωμενhim,αὐτόνandκαὶthe inheritanceἡ κληρονομίαwill beἔσταιours.’ἡμῶν
Andκαὶthey took him,λαβόντεςkilledἀπέκτεινανhim,αὐτόνandκαὶthrewἐξέβαλονhimαὐτὸνoutἔξωof the vineyard.τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος
Whatτίwillποιήσειthe ownerὁ κύριοςof the vineyardτοῦ ἀμπελῶνοςdo?ποιήσειHe will comeἐλεύσεταιandκαὶdestroyἀπολέσειthe tenantsτοὺς γεωργούςandκαὶgiveδώσειthe vineyardτὸν ἀμπελῶναto others.ἄλλοις
Have you not evenοὐδὲreadἀνέγνωτεthisταύτηνScripture:τὴν γραφὴν‘The stoneΛίθονthatὃνthe buildersοἱ οἰκοδομοῦντεςrejected,ἀπεδοκίμασανthisοὗτοςhas becomeἐγενήθηthe headεἰς κεφαλὴνof the corner;γωνίας
thisαὕτηcame aboutἐγένετοfromπαρὰthe Lord,κυρίουandκαὶit isἔστινmarvelousθαυμαστὴinἐνour eyes’?”ὀφθαλμοῖς ἡμῶν
AndΚαὶthey were seekingἐζήτουνto seizeκρατῆσαιhim,αὐτὸνandκαὶthey fearedἐφοβήθησανthe crowd;τὸν ὄχλονforγὰρthey knewἔγνωσανthatὅτιhe had toldεἶπενthe parableτὴν παραβολὴνagainstπρὸςthem.αὐτοὺςAndκαὶleavingἀφέντεςhim,αὐτὸνthey went away.ἀπῆλθον
AndΚαὶthey sendἀποστέλλουσινtoπρὸςhimαὐτόνsomeτιναςof the Phariseesτῶν Φαρισαίωνandκαὶof the Herodiansτῶν Ἡρῳδιανῶνtoἵναtrapἀγρεύσωσινhimαὐτὸνin what he said.λόγῳ
Andκαὶthey cameἐλθόντεςand sayλέγουσινto him,αὐτῷ“Teacher,Διδάσκαλεwe knowοἴδαμενthatὅτιyou areεἶtrueἀληθὴςandκαὶyou do notοὐcareμέλει σοιaboutπερὶanyone;οὐδενόςforγὰρyou do notοὐlookβλέπειςatεἰςthe faceπρόσωπονof people,ἀνθρώπωνbutἀλλ’inἐπ’truthἀληθείαςyou teachδιδάσκειςthe wayτὴν ὁδὸνof God.τοῦ θεοῦIs it lawfulἔξεστινto payδοῦναιtaxκῆνσονto Caesar,Καίσαριorἢnot?οὔShould we pay,δῶμενorἢshould we notμὴpay?”δῶμεν
Butδὲhe,ὁknowingεἰδὼςtheir hypocrisy,αὐτῶν τὴν ὑπόκρισινsaidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“WhyΤίare you testingπειράζετεme?μεBringφέρετέmeμοιa denariusδηνάριονso thatἵναI may see it.”ἴδω
Andδὲtheyοἱbrought one.ἤνεγκανAndκαὶhe saysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“WhoseΤίνοςisthisαὕτηimageἡ εἰκὼνandκαὶinscription?”ἡ ἐπιγραφήAndδὲtheyοἱsaidεἶπανto him,αὐτῷ“Caesar’s.”Καίσαρος
AndδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“Give backἀπόδοτεto CaesarΚαίσαριthe thingsΤὰof Caesar,Καίσαροςandκαὶto Godτῷ θεῷthe thingsτὰof God.”τοῦ θεοῦAndκαὶthey were utterly amazedἐξεθαύμαζονatἐπ’him.αὐτῷ
AndΚαὶSadduceesΣαδδουκαῖοιcomeἔρχονταιtoπρὸςhim,αὐτόνwhoοἵτινεςsayλέγουσινthere isεἶναιnoμὴresurrection,ἀνάστασινandκαὶthey were questioningἐπηρώτωνhim,αὐτὸνsaying,λέγοντες
“Teacher,ΔιδάσκαλεMosesΜωϋσῆςwroteἔγραψενfor usἡμῖνthatὅτιifἐάνa man’sτινοςbrotherἀδελφὸςdiesἀποθάνῃandκαὶleaves behindκαταλίπῃa wifeγυναῖκαandκαὶdoes notμὴleaveἀφῇa child,τέκνονhis brotherὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦshouldἵναtakeλάβῃthe wifeτὴν γυναῖκαandκαὶraise upἐξαναστήσῃoffspringσπέρμαfor his brother.τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ
There wereἦσανsevenἑπτὰbrothers;ἀδελφοὶandκαὶthe firstὁ πρῶτοςtookἔλαβενa wife,γυναῖκαandκαὶwhen he diedἀποθνῄσκωνhe leftἀφῆκενnoοὐκoffspring;σπέρμα
andκαὶthe secondὁ δεύτεροςtookἔλαβενher,αὐτήνandκαὶdied,ἀπέθανενleavingκαταλιπὼνnoμὴoffspring;σπέρμαandκαὶthe thirdὁ τρίτοςlikewise;ὡσαύτως
andκαὶthe sevenοἱ ἑπτὰleftἀφῆκανnoοὐκoffspring.σπέρμαLastἔσχατονof allπάντωνthe womanἡ γυνὴalsoκαὶdied.ἀπέθανεν
Inἐνthe resurrection,τῇ ἀναστάσειwhenὅτανthey rise,ἀναστῶσινwhichτίνοςof themαὐτῶνwill she beἔσταιwife to?γυνήForγὰρthe sevenοἱ ἑπτὰhadἔσχονherαὐτὴνas wife.”γυναῖκα
Jesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaidἔφηto them,αὐτοῖς“Is it notΟὐfor this reasonδιὰ τοῦτοthat you are mistaken,πλανᾶσθεnotμὴknowingεἰδότεςthe Scripturesτὰς γραφὰςnorμηδὲthe powerτὴν δύναμινof God?τοῦ θεοῦ

Butδὲconcerningπερὶthe dead,τῶν νεκρῶνthatὅτιthey are raised,ἐγείρονταιhave you notοὐκreadἀνέγνωτεinἐνthe bookτῇ βίβλῳof Moses,Μωϋσέωςatἐπὶthe bush,τοῦ βάτουhowπῶςGodὁ θεὸςspokeεἶπενto him,αὐτῷsaying,λέγων‘I amἘγὼthe Godὁ θεὸςof AbrahamἈβραὰμandκαὶthe Godὁ θεὸςof IsaacἸσαὰκandκαὶthe Godὁ θεὸςof Jacob’?Ἰακώβ

AndΚαὶoneεἷςof the scribesτῶν γραμματέωνcame up,προσελθὼνhaving heardἀκούσαςthemαὐτῶνdebating,συζητούντωνand seeingἰδὼνthatὅτιhe had answeredἀπεκρίθηthemαὐτοῖςwell,καλῶςaskedἐπηρώτησενhim,αὐτόν“WhichΠοίαcommandmentἐντολὴisἐστὶνfirstπρώτηof all?”πάντων
Jesusὁ Ἰησοῦςanswered,ἀπεκρίθη“The firstΠρώτηis,ἐστίν‘Hear,ἌκουεIsrael:Ἰσραήλthe Lordκύριοςour God,ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶνthe Lordκύριοςisἐστινone;εἷς
andκαὶyou shall loveἀγαπήσειςthe Lordκύριονyour Godτὸν θεόν σουwithἐξallὅληςyour heartτῆς καρδίας σουandκαὶwithἐξallὅληςyour soulτῆς ψυχῆς σουandκαὶwithἐξallὅληςyour mindτῆς διανοίας σουandκαὶwithἐξallὅληςyour strength.’τῆς ἰσχύος σου

Andκαὶthe scribeὁ γραμματεύςsaidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“Well said,ΚαλῶςTeacher;διδάσκαλεinἐπ’truthἀληθείαςyou have saidεἶπεςthatὅτιhe isἐστινoneεἷςandκαὶthere isἔστινnoοὐκotherἄλλοςbesidesπλὴνhim;αὐτοῦ
andκαὶto loveτὸ ἀγαπᾶνhimαὐτὸνwithἐξallὅληςthe heartτῆς καρδίαςandκαὶwithἐξallὅληςthe understandingτῆς συνέσεωςandκαὶwithἐξallὅληςthe strength,τῆς ἰσχύοςandκαὶto loveτὸ ἀγαπᾶνthe neighborτὸν πλησίονasὡςoneself,ἑαυτὸνisἐστινmore thanπερισσότερόνallπάντωνthe whole burnt offeringsτῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτωνandκαὶsacrifices.”θυσιῶν
AndκαὶJesus,ὁ Ἰησοῦςseeingἰδὼνthatὅτιheαὐτὸνhad answeredἀπεκρίθηwisely,νουνεχῶςsaidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“You areεἶnotΟὐfarμακρὰνfromἀπὸthe kingdomτῆς βασιλείαςof God.”τοῦ θεοῦAndκαὶno oneοὐδεὶςdaredἐτόλμαany longerοὐκέτιto questionἐπερωτῆσαιhim.αὐτὸν
AndΚαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςrespondedἀποκριθεὶςand said,ἔλεγενas he taughtδιδάσκωνinἐνthe temple,τῷ ἱερῷ“HowΠῶςdo the scribesοἱ γραμματεῖςsayλέγουσινthatὅτιthe Messiahὁ χριστὸςisἐστινthe sonυἱὸςof David?Δαυίδ

AndΚαὶinἐνhis teachingτῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦhe was saying,ἔλεγεν“BewareΒλέπετεofἀπὸthe scribes,τῶν γραμματέωνwhoτῶνlikeθελόντωνto walk aroundπεριπατεῖνinἐνlong robesστολαῖςandκαὶto receivegreetingsἀσπασμοὺςinἐνthe marketplacesταῖς ἀγοραῖς
andκαὶthe first seatsπρωτοκαθεδρίαςinἐνthe synagoguesταῖς συναγωγαῖςandκαὶthe places of honorπρωτοκλισίαςatἐνthe banquets,τοῖς δείπνοις
whoοἱdevourκατεσθίοντεςthe housesτὰς οἰκίαςof widowsτῶν χηρῶνandκαὶas a pretextπροφάσειprayπροσευχόμενοιlong prayers.μακρὰTheseοὗτοιwill receiveλήμψονταιthe greaterπερισσότερονcondemnation.”κρίμα
AndΚαὶsitting downκαθίσαςoppositeκατέναντιthe treasury,τοῦ γαζοφυλακίουhe was watchingἐθεώρειhowπῶςthe crowdὁ ὄχλοςputsβάλλειcopper coinsχαλκὸνintoεἰςthe treasury.τὸ γαζοφυλάκιονAndκαὶmanyπολλοὶrich peopleπλούσιοιwere putting inἔβαλλονmuch.πολλά
Andκαὶoneμίαpoorπτωχὴwidowχήραcameἐλθοῦσαand put inἔβαλενtwoδύοlepta,λεπτὰwhichὅisἐστινa quadrans.κοδράντης
Andκαὶsummoningπροσκαλεσάμενοςhis disciples,τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦhe saidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“TrulyἈμὴνI tellλέγωyouὑμῖνthatὅτιthisαὕτηpoorἡ πτωχὴwidowἡ χήραhas put inἔβαλενmoreπλεῖονthan allπάντωνthose whoτῶνare puttingβαλλόντωνintoεἰςthe treasury.τὸ γαζοφυλάκιον
Forγὰρthey allπάντεςput inἔβαλονout ofἐκtheir abundance,τοῦ περισσεύοντος αὐτοῖςbutδὲsheαὕτηout ofἐκher povertyτῆς ὑστερήσεως αὐτῆςput inἔβαλενall thatπάντα ὅσαshe had,εἶχενher wholeὅλονliving.”τὸν βίον αὐτῆς
