Butδέthere wereἦσανsomeτινεςwho were indignantἀγανακτοῦντεςamongπρὸςthemselves:ἑαυτούς“WhyΕἰς τίhasγέγονενthisαὕτηwasteἡ ἀπώλειαof the ointmentτοῦ μύρουhappened?γέγονεν
Forγὰρthisτοῦτοointmentτὸ μύρονcouldἠδύνατοhave been soldπραθῆναιfor more thanἐπάνωthree hundredτριακοσίωνdenariiδηναρίωνandκαὶthe moneygivenδοθῆναιto the poor.”τοῖς πτωχοῖςAndκαὶthey were scoldingἐνεβριμῶντοher.αὐτῇ

AndΚαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“You will allΠάντεςfall away,σκανδαλισθήσεσθεforὅτιit is written,γέγραπται‘I will strikeΠατάξωthe shepherd,τὸν ποιμέναandκαὶthe sheepτὰ πρόβαταwill be scattered.’διασκορπισθήσονται

AndΚαὶthey comeἔρχονταιtoεἰςa placeχωρίονwhoseοὗnameτὸ ὄνομαisGethsemane,Γεθσημανίandκαὶhe saysλέγειto his disciples,τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ“SitΚαθίσατεhereὧδεwhileἕωςI pray.”προσεύξωμαι
Andκαὶhe takesπαραλαμβάνειPeterτὸν ΠέτρονandκαὶJamesἸάκωβονandκαὶJohnἸωάννηνwithμετ’him,αὐτοῦandκαὶhe beganἤρξατοto be greatly distressedἐκθαμβεῖσθαιandκαὶtroubled.ἀδημονεῖν

Keep watchγρηγορεῖτεandκαὶpray,προσεύχεσθεso thatἵναyou may notμὴcomeἔλθητεintoεἰςtemptation;πειρασμόνthe spiritτὸ μὲν πνεῦμαiswilling,πρόθυμονbutδὲthe fleshἡ σὰρξweak.”ἀσθενής

Nowδὲthe one whoὁwas handingπαραδιδοὺςhimαὐτὸνoverπαραδιδοὺςhad givenδεδώκειthemαὐτοῖςa signal,σύσσημονsaying,λέγων“WhomeverὋν ἂνI kiss,φιλήσωheαὐτόςis the one;ἐστινseizeκρατήσατεhimαὐτὸνandκαὶlead him awayἀπάγετεunder guard.”ἀσφαλῶς

Butδέoneεἷςof thoseτις τῶνstanding by,παρεστηκότωνdrawingσπασάμενοςhis sword,τὴν μάχαιρανstruckἔπαισενthe slaveτὸν δοῦλονof the high priestτοῦ ἀρχιερέωςandκαὶcut offἀφεῖλενhisαὐτοῦear.τὸ ὠτάριον
AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςrespondedἀποκριθεὶςand saidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“AsὩςagainstἐπὶa robberλῃστὴνhave you come outἐξήλθατεwithμετὰswordsμαχαιρῶνandκαὶclubsξύλωνto arrestσυλλαβεῖνme?με
Dayκαθ’after dayἡμέρανI wasἤμηνwithπρὸςyouὑμᾶςinἐνthe templeτῷ ἱερῷteaching,διδάσκωνandκαὶyou did notοὐκseizeἐκρατήσατέme;μεbutἀλλ’this has happenedso thatἵναthe Scripturesαἱ γραφαίmay be fulfilled.”πληρωθῶσιν

AndΚαὶa certainτιςyoung manνεανίσκοςwas followingσυνηκολούθειhim,αὐτῷwearingπεριβεβλημένοςa linen clothσινδόναoverἐπὶhis naked body;γυμνοῦandκαὶthey seizeκρατοῦσινhim;αὐτόν
butδὲheὁleftκαταλιπὼνthe linen clothτὴν σινδόναand fledἔφυγενnaked.γυμνὸς
AndΚαὶthey ledἀπήγαγονJesusτὸν Ἰησοῦνawayἀπήγαγονtoπρὸςthe high priest;τὸν ἀρχιερέαandκαὶallπάντεςthe high priestsοἱ ἀρχιερεῖςandκαὶthe eldersοἱ πρεσβύτεροιandκαὶthe scribesοἱ γραμματεῖςcome together.συνέρχονται
AndκαὶPeterὁ Πέτροςfollowedἠκολούθησενhimαὐτῷfrom a distance,ἀπὸ μακρόθενrightἕωςintoἔσω εἰςthe courtyardτὴν αὐλὴνof the high priest;τοῦ ἀρχιερέωςandκαὶhe wasἦνsittingσυγκαθήμενοςwithμετὰthe attendantsτῶν ὑπηρετῶνandκαὶwarming himselfθερμαινόμενοςatπρὸςthe fire.τὸ φῶς
Andδὲthe high priestsοἱ ἀρχιερεῖςandκαὶthe wholeὅλονcouncilτὸ συνέδριονwere seekingἐζήτουνtestimonyμαρτυρίανagainstκατὰJesusτοῦ Ἰησοῦtoεἰς τὸputθανατῶσαιhimαὐτόνto death,θανατῶσαιandκαὶthey were notοὐχfinding any.ηὕρισκον
Forγὰρmanyπολλοὶwere bearing false witnessἐψευδομαρτύρουνagainstκατ’him,αὐτοῦandκαὶthe testimoniesαἱ μαρτυρίαιwere notοὐκ ἦσανconsistent.ἴσαι
Andκαίsomeτινεςstood upἀναστάντεςand were bearing false witnessἐψευδομαρτύρουνagainstκατ’him,αὐτοῦsaying,λέγοντες
“WeἩμεῖςheardἠκούσαμενhimαὐτοῦsaying,λέγοντος‘IἘγὼwill destroyκαταλύσωthisτοῦτονsanctuaryτὸν ναὸνmade with hands,τὸν χειροποίητονandκαὶinδιὰthreeτριῶνdaysἡμερῶνI will buildοἰκοδομήσωanother,ἄλλονnot made with hands.’”ἀχειροποίητον
Andκαὶnot evenοὐδὲsoοὕτωςwasἦνtheir testimonyἡ μαρτυρία αὐτῶνconsistent.ἴση
Andκαὶthe high priestὁ ἀρχιερεὺςstood upἀναστὰςinεἰςthe middleμέσονand questionedἐπηρώτησενJesus,τὸν Ἰησοῦνsaying,λέγων“Do you notΟὐκanswerἀποκρίνῃanything?οὐδένWhatτίis it thatthese menοὗτοίare testifying againstκαταμαρτυροῦσινyou?”σου
Butδὲheὁwas silentἐσιώπαandκαὶdid notοὐκanswerἀπεκρίνατοanything.οὐδένAgainπάλινthe high priestὁ ἀρχιερεὺςwas questioningἐπηρώταhimαὐτὸνandκαὶsaysλέγειto him,αὐτῷ“Are youΣὺ εἶthe Messiah,ὁ χριστὸςthe Sonὁ υἱὸςof the Blessed One?”τοῦ εὐλογητοῦ
AndδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaid,εἶπεν“IἘγώam;εἰμιandκαὶyou will seeὄψεσθεthe Sonτὸν υἱὸνof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουsittingκαθήμενονatἐκthe right handδεξιῶνof Powerτῆς δυνάμεωςandκαὶcomingἐρχόμενονwithμετὰthe cloudsτῶν νεφελῶνof heaven.”τοῦ οὐρανοῦ

You heardἠκούσατεthe blasphemy;τῆς βλασφημίαςwhatτίdoes it seemφαίνεταιto you?”ὑμῖνAndδὲtheyοἱallπάντεςcondemnedκατέκρινανhimαὐτὸνasεἶναιdeservingἔνοχονdeath.θανάτου
Andκαὶsomeτινεςbeganἤρξαντόto spitἐμπτύεινon him,αὐτῷandκαὶto coverπερικαλύπτεινhisαὐτοῦfaceτὸ πρόσωπονandκαὶto strikeκολαφίζεινhimαὐτὸνandκαὶto sayλέγεινto him,αὐτῷ“Prophesy!”ΠροφήτευσονAndκαὶthe attendantsοἱ ὑπηρέταιreceivedἔλαβονhimαὐτὸνwith blows.ῥαπίσμασιν

andκαὶseeingἰδοῦσαPeterτὸν Πέτρονwarming himself,θερμαινόμενονshe looked atἐμβλέψασαhimαὐτῷand says,λέγει“YouσὺalsoΚαὶwereἦσθαwithμετὰthe Nazarene,τοῦ ΝαζαρηνοῦJesus.”τοῦ Ἰησοῦ
Butδὲheὁdenied it,ἠρνήσατοsaying,λέγων“I neitherΟὔτεknowοἶδαnorοὔτεunderstandἐπίσταμαιwhatτίyouσὺare saying.”λέγειςAndκαὶhe went outsideἐξῆλθεν ἔξωintoεἰςthe forecourt;τὸ προαύλιονandκαὶa roosterἀλέκτωρcrowed.ἐφώνησεν
Andκαὶthe servant girl,ἡ παιδίσκηseeingἰδοῦσαhim,αὐτὸνbeganἤρξατοagainπάλινto sayλέγεινto thoseτοῖςstanding by,παρεστῶσιν“This manΟὗτοςisἐστινone ofἐξthem.”αὐτῶν
Butδὲheὁagainπάλινwas denying it.ἠρνεῖτοAndκαὶafterμετὰa little whileμικρὸνagainπάλινthoseοἱstanding byπαρεστῶτεςwere sayingἔλεγονto Peter,τῷ Πέτρῳ“TrulyἈληθῶςyou areεἶone ofἐξthem,αὐτῶνforγὰρyou areεἶalsoκαὶa Galilean,Γαλιλαῖοςandκαὶyour speechἡ λαλιά σουis like theirs.”ὁμοιάζει
Butδὲheὁbeganἤρξατοto call down cursesἀναθεματίζεινandκαὶto swear,ὀμνύναι“I do notΟὐκknowοἶδαthisτοῦτονmanτὸν ἄνθρωπονyou are talking about.”ὃν λέγετε
