And it will happenוְהָיָהat the endבְּאַחֲרִיתof the daysהַיָּמִיםthat the mountainהַרof the houseבֵּיתof YHWHיְהוָהwill beיִהְיֶהestablishedנָכוֹןat the topבְּרֹאשׁof the mountains,הֶהָרִיםand it will be lifted upוְנִשָּׂא הוּאabove the hills;מִגְּבָעוֹתand peoplesעַמִּיםwill streamוְנָהֲרוּto it,עָלָיו
and manyרַבִּיםnationsגּוֹיִםwill goוְהָלְכוּand say,וְאָמְרוּ“Come,לְכוּand let us go upוְנַעֲלֶהto the mountainאֶל הַרof YHWH,יְהוָהand to the houseוְאֶל בֵּיתof the Elohimאֱלֹהֵיof Jacob,יַעֲקֹבand he will teach usוְיוֹרֵנוּof his ways,מִדְּרָכָיוand we will walkוְנֵלְכָהin his paths.”בְּאֹרְחֹתָיוForכִּיout of Zionמִצִּיּוֹןwill go forthתֵּצֵאinstruction,תוֹרָהand the wordוּדְבַרof YHWHיְהוָהfrom Jerusalem.מִירוּשָׁלִָם
And he will judgeוְשָׁפַטbetween manyבֵּין רַבִּיםpeoplesעַמִּיםand decideוְהוֹכִיחַfor mightyלְ עֲצֻמִיםnationsגוֹיִםfar away;עַד רָחוֹקand they will beatוְכִתְּתוּtheir swordsחַרְבֹתֵיהֶםinto mattocksלְאִתִּיםand their spearsוַחֲנִיתֹתֵיהֶםinto pruning knives;לְמַזְמֵרוֹתnationגּוֹיwill notלֹאlift upיִשְׂאוּswordחֶרֶבagainst nation,אֶל גּוֹיnorוְלֹאwill they learnיִלְמְדוּןwarמִלְחָמָהanymore.עוֹד
And they will sit,וְיָשְׁבוּeachאִישׁunder his vineתַּחַת גַּפְנוֹand under his fig tree,וְתַחַת תְּאֵנָתוֹand there will be no oneוְאֵיןto make them afraid,מַחֲרִידforכִּיthe mouthפִיof YHWHיְהוָהTsevaotצְבָאוֹתhas spoken.דִּבֵּר
Forכִּיallכָּלthe peoplesהָעַמִּיםwalk,יֵלְכוּeachאִישׁin the nameבְּשֵׁםof his god,אֱלֹהָיוbut weוַאֲנַחְנוּwill walkנֵלֵךְin the nameבְּשֵׁםof YHWHיְהוָהour Elohimאֱלֹהֵינוּforeverלְעוֹלָםand ever.וָעֶד
“On that day,בַּיּוֹם הַהוּאdeclaresנְאֻםYHWH,יְהוָהI will gatherאֹסְפָהthe lameהַצֹּלֵעָהand the banishedוְהַנִּדָּחָהI will assemble,אֲקַבֵּצָהand the one whomוַאֲשֶׁרI have afflicted.הֲרֵעֹתִי
And I will makeוְשַׂמְתִּיthe lameהַצֹּלֵעָהa remnant,לִשְׁאֵרִיתand the one driven far offוְהַנַּהֲלָאָהa mightyעָצוּםnation;לְגוֹיand YHWHיְהוָהwill reignוּמָלַךְover themעֲלֵיהֶםon MountבְּהַרZionצִיּוֹןfrom nowמֵעַתָּהand forever.וְעַד עוֹלָם
And you,וְאַתָּהtowerמִגְדַּלof the flock,עֵדֶרhillעֹפֶלof the daughterבַּתof Zion,צִיּוֹןto youעָדֶיךָit will come,תֵּאתֶהand the formerהָרִאשֹׁנָהdominionהַמֶּמְשָׁלָהwill come,וּבָאָהthe kingdomמַמְלֶכֶתfor the daughterלְבַתof Jerusalem.”יְרוּשָׁלִָם
Nowעַתָּהwhyלָמָּהdo you raise a shout?תָרִיעִי רֵעַIs there noהֲ אֵיןkingמֶלֶךְin you?בָּךְOrאִםhas your counselorיוֹעֲצֵךְperished,אָבָדthatכִּיpainחִילhas seized youהֶחֱזִיקֵךְlike a woman giving birth?כַּיּוֹלֵדָה
Writheחוּלִיand push,וָגֹחִיdaughterבַּתof Zion,צִיּוֹןlike a woman giving birth,כַּיּוֹלֵדָהforכִּיnowעַתָּהyou will go outתֵצְאִיfrom the cityמִקִּרְיָהand dwellוְשָׁכַנְתְּin the field,בַּשָּׂדֶהand you will comeוּבָאתas far asעַדBabylon;בָּבֶלthereשָׁםyou will be rescued,תִּנָּצֵלִיthereשָׁםYHWHיְהוָהwill redeem youיִגְאָלֵךְfrom the handמִכַּףof your enemies.אֹיְבָיִךְ
And nowוְעַתָּהmanyרַבִּיםnationsגּוֹיִםhave gatheredנֶאֶסְפוּagainst you,עָלַיִךְwho say,הָאֹמְרִים“Let her be defiled,תֶּחֱנָףand let our eyesוְ עֵינֵינוּgaze onתַחַזZion.”בְּצִיּוֹן
But theyוְהֵמָּהdo notלֹאknowיָדְעוּthe thoughtsמַחְשְׁבוֹתof YHWH,יְהוָהand they do notוְלֹאunderstandהֵבִינוּhis counsel,עֲצָתוֹforכִּיhe has assembled themקִבְּצָםlike sheavesכֶּעָמִירto the threshing floor.גֹּרְנָה
“Ariseקוּמִיand thresh,וָדוֹשִׁיdaughterבַתof Zion,צִיּוֹןforכִּיyour hornקַרְנֵךְI will makeאָשִׂיםiron,בַּרְזֶלand your hoofsוּפַרְסֹתַיִךְI will makeאָשִׂיםbronze,נְחוּשָׁהand you will crushוַהֲדִקּוֹתmanyרַבִּיםpeoples;עַמִּיםand you will devote completelyוְהַחֲרַמְתִּיto YHWHלַיהוָהtheir gain,בִּצְעָםand their wealthוְחֵילָםto the Lordלַאֲדוֹןof allכָּלthe earth.”הָאָרֶץ
