YHWHיְהוָהspokeוַיְדַבֵּרto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהsaying,לֵּאמֹר
“Commandצַוthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלand sayוְאָמַרְתָּto them:אֲלֵהֶםWhenכִּיyouאַתֶּםenterבָּאִיםintoאֶלthe landהָאָרֶץof Canaan,כְּנָעַןthis isזֹאתthe landהָאָרֶץthatאֲשֶׁרshall fallתִּפֹּלto youלָכֶםas an inheritance,בְּנַחֲלָהthe landאֶרֶץof Canaanכְּנַעַןaccording to its borders.לִגְבֻלֹתֶיהָ
Yourלָכֶםsouthנֶגֶבsideפְּאַתshall beוְהָיָהfrom the wildernessמִמִּדְבַּרof Zinצִןalongsideעַל יְדֵיEdom,אֱדוֹםand yourלָכֶםsouthנֶגֶבborderגְּבוּלshall beוְהָיָהfrom the endמִקְצֵהof the SaltהַמֶּלַחSeaיָםon the east.קֵדְמָה
And the borderוְ הַגְּבוּלshall turnנָסַבfor youלָכֶםsouthמִנֶּגֶבof the ascentלְמַעֲלֵהof Akrabbimעַקְרַבִּיםand pass onוְעָבַרto Zin,צִנָהand it shall endוְהָיוּ תּוֹצְאֹתָיוsouthמִנֶּגֶבof Kadesh-barnea;לְקָדֵשׁ בַּרְנֵעַand it shall go outוְיָצָאto Hazar-addarחֲצַר אַדָּרand pass onוְעָבַרto Azmon.עַצְמֹנָה
And the borderוְ הַגְּבוּלshall turnנָסַבfrom Azmonמֵעַצְמוֹןto the brookנַחְלָהof Egypt,מִצְרָיִםand it shall endוְהָיוּ תוֹצְאֹתָיוat the sea.הַיָּמָּה
And as the western borderוּגְבוּל יָםyou shall haveוְהָיָה לָכֶםthe GreatהַגָּדוֹלSeaהַיָּםand its coast;וּגְבוּלthisזֶהshall beיִהְיֶהyourלָכֶםwestern border.גְּבוּל יָם
And thisוְזֶהshall beיִהְיֶהyourלָכֶםnorthצָפוֹןborder:גְּבוּלfromמִןthe GreatהַגָּדֹלSeaהַיָּםyou shall draw a lineתְּתָאוּfor yourselvesלָכֶםto Mount Hor;הֹר הָהָר
from Mount Horמֵהֹר הָהָרyou shall draw a lineתְּתָאוּto the entranceלְבֹאof Hamath,חֲמָתand the borderוְ הַגְּבֻלshall endהָיוּ תּוֹצְאֹתat Zedad;צְדָדָה
and the borderוְ הַגְּבֻלshall go outיָצָאto Ziphron,זִפְרֹנָהand it shall endוְהָיוּ תוֹצְאֹתָיוat Hazar-enan;חֲצַר עֵינָןthisזֶהshall beיִהְיֶהyourלָכֶםnorthצָפוֹןborder.גְּבוּל
And for yourוְ לָכֶםeasternקֵדְמָהborderלִגְבוּלyou shall draw a lineהִתְאַוִּיתֶםfrom Hazar-enanמֵחֲצַר עֵינָןto Shepham;שְׁפָמָה
and the borderוְ הַגְּבֻלshall go downיָרַדfrom Shephamמִשְּׁפָםto Riblahהָרִבְלָהon the eastמִקֶּדֶםof Ain;לָעָיִןand the borderוְ הַגְּבוּלshall go downיָרַדand reachוּמָחָהthe slopeעַל כֶּתֶףof the Seaיָםof Chinnerethכִּנֶּרֶתon the east;קֵדְמָה
and the borderוְ הַגְּבוּלshall go downיָרַדto the Jordan,הַיַּרְדֵּנָהand it shall endוְהָיוּ תוֹצְאֹתָיוat the SaltהַמֶּלַחSea.יָםThisזֹאתshall beתִּהְיֶהyourלָכֶםlandהָאָרֶץby its bordersלִגְבֻלֹתֶיהָall around.”סָבִיב
Mosesמֹשֶׁהcommandedוַיְצַוthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלsaying,לֵאמֹר“This isזֹאתthe landהָאָרֶץthatאֲשֶׁרyou shall take as inheritanceתִּתְנַחֲלוּ אֹתָהּby lot,בְּגוֹרָלwhichאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhas commandedצִוָּהto giveלָתֵתto the nineלְתִשְׁעַתtribesהַמַּטּוֹתand the halfוַחֲצִיtribe.הַמַּטֶּה
Forכִּיthe tribeמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof the Reubenitesהָראוּבֵנִיby their fathers’ houseלְבֵית אֲבֹתָםand the tribeוּמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof the Gaditesהַגָּדִיby their fathers’ houseלְבֵית אֲבֹתָםhave taken,לָקְחוּand the halfוַחֲצִיtribeמַטֵּהof Manassehמְנַשֶּׁהhave takenלָקְחוּtheir inheritance.נַחֲלָתָם
The twoשְׁנֵיtribesהַמַּטּוֹתand the halfוַחֲצִיtribeהַמַּטֶּהhave takenלָקְחוּtheir inheritanceנַחֲלָתָםon this sideמֵעֵבֶרof the Jordanלְיַרְדֵּןopposite Jericho,יְרֵחוֹeastward,קֵדְמָהtoward the sunrise.”מִזְרָחָה

“These areאֵלֶּהthe namesשְׁמוֹתof the menהָאֲנָשִׁיםwhoאֲשֶׁרshall apportion as inheritanceיִנְחֲלוּthe landהָאָרֶץto you:לָכֶםEleazarאֶלְעָזָרthe priestהַכֹּהֵןand Joshuaוִיהוֹשֻׁעַsonבִּןof Nun.נוּן
And oneוְ אֶחָדchief,נָשִׂיאoneאֶחָדchiefנָשִׂיאfrom each tribeמִמַּטֶּהyou shall takeתִּקְחוּto apportion as inheritanceלִנְחֹלthe land.הָאָרֶץ
And these areוְאֵלֶּהthe namesשְׁמוֹתof the men:הָאֲנָשִׁיםof the tribeלְמַטֵּהof Judah,יְהוּדָהCalebכָּלֵבsonבֶּןof Jephunneh;יְפֻנֶּה
of the tribeוּלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְּנֵיof Simeon,שִׁמְעוֹןSamuelשְׁמוּאֵלsonבֶּןof Ammihud;עַמִּיהוּד
of the tribeלְמַטֵּהof Benjamin,בִנְיָמִןElidadאֱלִידָדsonבֶּןof Chislon;כִּסְלוֹן
of the tribeוּלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Dan,דָןa chief,נָשִׂיאBukkiבֻּקִּיsonבֶּןof Jogli;יָגְלִי
of the sonsלִבְנֵיof Joseph:יוֹסֵףof the tribeלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Manasseh,מְנַשֶּׁהa chief,נָשִׂיאHannielחַנִּיאֵלsonבֶּןof Ephod;אֵפֹד
of the tribeוּלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Ephraim,אֶפְרַיִםa chief,נָשִׂיאKemuelקְמוּאֵלsonבֶּןof Shiphtan;שִׁפְטָן
of the tribeוּלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Zebulun,זְבוּלֻןa chief,נָשִׂיאElizaphanאֱלִיצָפָןsonבֶּןof Parnach;פַּרְנָךְ
of the tribeוּלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Issachar,יִשָׂשכָרa chief,נָשִׂיאPaltielפַּלְטִיאֵלsonבֶּןof Azzan;עַזָּן
of the tribeוּלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Asher,אָשֵׁרa chief,נָשִׂיאAhihudאֲחִיהוּדsonבֶּןof Shelomi;שְׁלֹמִי
of the tribeוּלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Naphtali,נַפְתָּלִיa chief,נָשִׂיאPedahelפְּדַהְאֵלsonבֶּןof Ammihud.”עַמִּיהוּד
These areאֵלֶּהthose whomאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהcommandedצִוָּהto apportion as inheritanceלְנַחֵלto the sonsבְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלin the landבְּאֶרֶץof Canaan.כְּנָעַן
