Those who lie in wait for meשׁוֹרְרַיtrample meשָׁאֲפוּallכָּלthe day,הַיּוֹםforכִּיmanyרַבִּיםfightלֹחֲמִיםagainst meלִיwith haughtiness.מָרוֹם
On the dayיוֹםI fear,אִירָאIאֲנִיtrustאֶבְטָחin you.אֵלֶיךָ
In Elohim,בֵּאלֹהִיםwhose wordדְּבָרוֹI praise,אֲהַלֵּלin ElohimבֵּאלֹהִיםI trust;בָּטַחְתִּיI will notלֹאfear;אִירָאwhatמַהcanיַּעֲשֶׂהfleshבָשָׂרdoיַּעֲשֶׂהto me?לִי
Allכָּלthe dayהַיּוֹםthey twistיְעַצֵּבוּmy words;דְּבָרַיagainst me areעָלַיallכָּלtheir thoughtsמַחְשְׁבֹתָםfor evil.לָרָע
They gather together,יָגוּרוּthey lurk;יִצְפּוֹנוּtheyהֵמָּהwatchיִשְׁמֹרוּmy heels,עֲקֵבַיasכַּאֲשֶׁרthey wait forקִוּוּmy soul.נַפְשִׁי
With their wickednessעַל אָוֶןwill they get to safety?פַּלֶּט לָמוֹIn angerבְּאַףbring downהוֹרֵדthe peoples,עַמִּיםElohim.אֱלֹהִים
My wanderingנֹדִיyou yourselfאָתָּהhave counted;סָפַרְתָּהputשִׂימָהmy tearsדִמְעָתִיin your skin bottle;בְנֹאדֶךָare they notהֲלֹאin your book?בְּסִפְרָתֶךָ
Thenאָזmy enemiesאוֹיְבַיwill turnיָשׁוּבוּbackאָחוֹרon the dayבְּיוֹםI call;אֶקְרָאthisזֶהI know:יָדַעְתִּיthatכִּיElohim isאֱלֹהִיםfor me.לִי
In Elohim,בֵּאלֹהִיםwhose wordדָּבָרI praise,אֲהַלֵּלin YHWH,בַּיהוָהwhose wordדָּבָרI praise,אֲהַלֵּל
in ElohimבֵּאלֹהִיםI trust;בָּטַחְתִּיI will notלֹאfear;אִירָאwhatמַהcanיַּעֲשֶׂהa human beingאָדָםdoיַּעֲשֶׂהto me?לִי
Upon me,עָלַיElohim,אֱלֹהִיםare your vows;נְדָרֶיךָI will payאֲשַׁלֵּםthanksgivingsתּוֹדֹתto you.לָךְ
Forכִּיyou have deliveredהִצַּלְתָּmy soulנַפְשִׁיfrom death,מִמָּוֶתhave you not deliveredהֲלֹאmy feetרַגְלַיfrom falling,מִדֶּחִיso that I may walkלְהִתְהַלֵּךְbeforeלִפְנֵיElohimאֱלֹהִיםin the lightבְּאוֹרof the living?הַחַיִּים
