Deliver meהַצִּילֵנִיfrom those who workמִפֹּעֲלֵיwickedness,אָוֶןand from menוּמֵאַנְשֵׁיof bloodדָמִיםsave me.הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי
Forכִּיlook,הִנֵּהthey lie in waitאָרְבוּfor my soul;לְנַפְשִׁיthe strongעַזִיםgatherיָגוּרוּagainst me,עָלַיnotלֹאfor my transgressionפִשְׁעִיnorוְלֹאfor my sin,חַטָּאתִיYHWH.יְהוָה
Withoutבְּלִיiniquity of mineעָוֺןthey runיְרוּצוּןand make ready;וְיִכּוֹנָנוּawakeעוּרָהto meet me,לִקְרָאתִיand see.וּרְאֵה
And you,וְאַתָּהYHWHיְהוָהElohimאֱלֹהִיםTsevaot,צְבָאוֹתElohimאֱלֹהֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלrouse yourselfהָקִיצָהto call to accountלִפְקֹדallכָּלthe nations;הַגּוֹיִםdo notאַלshow favorתָּחֹןto anyכָּלwho act treacherouslyבֹּגְדֵיwith wickedness.אָוֶןSelah.סֶלָה
They returnיָשׁוּבוּat evening,לָעֶרֶבthey howlיֶהֱמוּlike the dog,כַכָּלֶבand go aroundוִיסוֹבְבוּthe city.עִיר
Look,הִנֵּהthey pour outיַבִּיעוּןwith their mouth;בְּפִיהֶםswords areחֲרָבוֹתin their lips,בְּשִׂפְתוֹתֵיהֶםforכִּי“Whoמִיhears?”שֹׁמֵעַ
But you,וְאַתָּהYHWH,יְהוָהlaughתִּשְׂחַקat them;לָמוֹyou mockתִּלְעַגallלְכָלthe nations.גּוֹיִם
Facing his strength,עֻזּוֹI will watchאֶשְׁמֹרָהfor you,אֵלֶיךָforכִּיElohim isאֱלֹהִיםmy high refuge.מִשְׂגַּבִּי
The Elohimאֱלֹהֵיof my loyal loveחַסְדִּיwill come to meet me;יְקַדְּמֵנִיElohimאֱלֹהִיםwill let me lookיַרְאֵנִיon those who lie in wait for me.בְשֹׁרְרָי
Do notאַלkill them,תַּהַרְגֵםlestפֶּןmy peopleעַמִּיforget;יִשְׁכְּחוּmake them wanderהֲנִיעֵמוֹby your power,בְחֵילְךָand bring them down,וְהוֹרִידֵמוֹour shield,מָגִנֵּנוּAdonai.אֲדֹנָי
The sinחַטַּאתof their mouth isפִּימוֹthe wordדְּבַרof their lips;שְׂפָתֵימוֹlet them be caughtוְיִלָּכְדוּin their pride,בִגְאוֹנָםand for the imprecationוּמֵאָלָהand the lyingוּמִכַּחַשׁthat they recount.יְסַפֵּרוּ
Make an endכַּלֵּהin fury,בְחֵמָהmake an end,כַּלֵּהso that they are no more;וְאֵינֵמוֹand let them knowוְיֵדְעוּthatכִּיElohimאֱלֹהִיםrulesמֹשֵׁלin Jacobבְּיַעֲקֹבto the endsלְאַפְסֵיof the earth.הָאָרֶץSelah.סֶלָה
And they returnוְיָשׁוּבוּat evening,לָעֶרֶבthey howlיֶהֱמוּlike the dog,כַכָּלֶבand go aroundוִיסוֹבְבוּthe city.עִיר
Theyהֵמָּהwander aboutיְנִיעוּןto eat;לֶאֱכֹלifאִםthey are notלֹאsatisfied,יִשְׂבְּעוּthey spend the night.וַיָּלִינוּ
But Iוַאֲנִיwill sing ofאָשִׁירyour strength,עֻזֶּךָand shout for joyוַאֲרַנֵּןin the morningלַבֹּקֶרover your loyal love;חַסְדֶּךָforכִּיyou have beenהָיִיתָa high refugeמִשְׂגָּבfor me,לִיand a place to fleeוּמָנוֹסin the dayבְּיוֹםof my distress.צַר לִי
My strength,עֻזִּיto youאֵלֶיךָI will sing psalms;אֲזַמֵּרָהforכִּיElohim isאֱלֹהִיםmy high refuge,מִשְׂגַּבִּיthe Elohimאֱלֹהֵיof my loyal love.חַסְדִּי
