He who dwellsיֹשֵׁבin the hiding placeבְּסֵתֶרof Elyonעֶלְיוֹןwill spend the nightיִתְלוֹנָןin the shadowבְּצֵלof Shaddai.שַׁדַּי
I will sayאֹמַרto YHWH,לַיהוָה“My refugeמַחְסִיand my fortress,וּמְצוּדָתִיmy Elohim,אֱלֹהַיin whom I trust.”אֶבְטַח בּוֹ
Forכִּיheהוּאwill deliver youיַצִּילְךָfrom the snareמִפַּחof the hunter,יָקוּשׁfrom the pestilenceמִדֶּבֶרof calamities.הַוּוֹת
With his feathersבְּאֶבְרָתוֹhe will cover you,יָסֶךְ לָךְand underוְתַחַתhis wingsכְּנָפָיוyou will take refuge;תֶּחְסֶהa large shieldצִנָּהand bucklerוְסֹחֵרָהis his truth.אֲמִתּוֹ
You will notלֹאfearתִירָאthe dreadמִפַּחַדof the night,לָיְלָהnor the arrowמֵחֵץthat fliesיָעוּףby day,יוֹמָם
nor the pestilenceמִדֶּבֶרthat walksיַהֲלֹךְin the gloom,בָּאֹפֶלnor the destructionמִקֶּטֶבthat ravagesיָשׁוּדat noon.צָהֳרָיִם
A thousandאֶלֶףwill fallיִפֹּלat your side,מִצִּדְּךָand ten thousandוּרְבָבָהat your right hand;מִימִינֶךָto youאֵלֶיךָit will notלֹאcome near.יִגָּשׁ
Onlyרַקwith your eyesבְּעֵינֶיךָwill you look,תַבִּיטand the recompenseוְשִׁלֻּמַתof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםyou will see.תִּרְאֶה
Forכִּיyou,אַתָּהYHWH,יְהוָהare my refuge!מַחְסִיElyonעֶלְיוֹןyou have madeשַׂמְתָּyour dwelling place;מְעוֹנֶךָ
noלֹאevilרָעָהwill befall you,תְאֻנֶּה אֵלֶיךָnorוְ לֹאplagueנֶגַעcome nearיִקְרַבyour tent.בְּאָהֳלֶךָ
Forכִּיhis angelsמַלְאָכָיוhe will commandיְצַוֶּהconcerning youלָּךְto guard youלִשְׁמָרְךָin allבְּכָלyour ways.דְּרָכֶיךָ
On their palmsעַל כַּפַּיִםthey will carry you,יִשָּׂאוּנְךָso that you do notפֶּןstrikeתִּגֹּףyour footרַגְלֶךָagainst a stone.בָּאֶבֶן
On the fierce lionעַל שַׁחַלand the viperוָפֶתֶןyou will tread;תִּדְרֹךְyou will trampleתִּרְמֹסthe young lionכְּפִירand the serpent.וְתַנִּין
“Becauseכִּיhe has set his loveחָשַׁקon me,בִיI will bring him to safety;וַאֲפַלְּטֵהוּI will set him on high,אֲשַׂגְּבֵהוּbecauseכִּיhe has knownיָדַעmy name.שְׁמִי
He will call on me,יִקְרָאֵנִיand I will answer him;וְאֶעֱנֵהוּwith himעִמּוֹI will beאָנֹכִיin distress;בְצָרָהI will rescue himאֲחַלְּצֵהוּand honor him.וַאֲכַבְּדֵהוּ
With lengthאֹרֶךְof daysיָמִיםI will satisfy him,אַשְׂבִּיעֵהוּand show himוְאַרְאֵהוּmy salvation.”בִּישׁוּעָתִי
