Let the one who eatsὁ ἐσθίωνnotμὴdespiseἐξουθενείτωthe one who does notτὸν μὴeat,ἐσθίονταandδὲlet the one who does notὁ μὴeatἐσθίωνnotμὴjudgeκρινέτωthe one who eats;τὸν ἐσθίονταforγὰρGodὁ θεὸςhas welcomedπροσελάβετοhim.αὐτὸν
Whoτίςareεἶyouσὺwho judgeὁ κρίνωνanother’sἀλλότριονhousehold servant?οἰκέτηνTo his ownτῷ ἰδίῳmasterκυρίῳhe standsστήκειorἢfalls.πίπτειAndδέhe will be made to stand,σταθήσεταιforγὰρthe Lordὁ κύριοςis ableδυνατεῖto make him stand.στῆσαι αὐτόν
One personὋςjudgesκρίνειone dayἡμέρανaboveπαρ’another,ἡμέρανwhile anotherὃς δὲjudgesκρίνειeveryπᾶσανdayἡμέρανalike.Let each oneἕκαστοςbe fully convincedπληροφορείσθωinἐνhis ownτῷ ἰδίῳmind.νοῒ
The one who observesὁ φρονῶνthe dayτὴν ἡμέρανobserves itφρονεῖto the Lord;κυρίῳandκαὶthe one who eatsὁ ἐσθίωνeatsἐσθίειto the Lord,κυρίῳforγὰρhe gives thanksεὐχαριστεῖto God;τῷ θεῷandκαὶthe one who does notὁ μὴeat,ἐσθίωνto the Lordκυρίῳhe does notοὐκeat,ἐσθίειandκαὶgives thanksεὐχαριστεῖto God.τῷ θεῷ
ForγὰρnoneΟὐδεὶςof usἡμῶνlivesζῇto himself,ἑαυτῷandκαὶnoneοὐδεὶςdiesἀποθνῄσκειto himself.ἑαυτῷ
Forγὰρifἐάνwe live,ζῶμενwe liveζῶμενto the Lord,τῷ κυρίῳand ifἐάνwe die,ἀποθνῄσκωμενwe dieἀποθνῄσκομενto the Lord.τῷ κυρίῳSoοὖνwhetherἐάν τεwe liveζῶμενorἐάν τεwe die,ἀποθνῄσκωμενwe areἐσμένthe Lord’s.τοῦ κυρίου

Butδὲyou,Σὺwhyτίdo you judgeκρίνειςyour brother?τὸν ἀδελφόν σουOrἢyou also,καὶ σὺwhyτίdo you despiseἐξουθενεῖςyour brother?τὸν ἀδελφόν σουForγὰρwe will allπάντεςstand beforeπαραστησόμεθαthe judgment seatτῷ βήματιof God.τοῦ θεοῦ
Forγάρit is written:γέγραπταιAs Iἐγώlive,Ζῶsaysλέγειthe Lord,κύριοςeveryπᾶνkneeγόνυwill bowκάμψειto me,ἐμοὶandκαὶeveryπᾶσαtongueγλῶσσαwill confessἐξομολογήσεταιto God.τῷ θεῷ
Soἄραeachἕκαστοςof usἡμῶνwill giveδώσειan accountλόγονofπερὶhimself.ἑαυτοῦ
Thereforeοὖνlet us no longerΜηκέτιjudgeκρίνωμενone another,ἀλλήλουςbutἀλλὰratherμᾶλλονjudgeκρίνατεthis:τοῦτοnotτὸ μὴto putτιθέναιa cause of stumblingπρόσκομμαorἢan offenseσκάνδαλονin the way of your brother.τῷ ἀδελφῷ
I knowοἶδαandκαὶam persuadedπέπεισμαιinἐνthe LordκυρίῳJesusἸησοῦthatὅτιnothingοὐδὲνisprofaneκοινὸνinδι’itself,ἑαυτοῦexceptεἰ μὴto the one who considersτῷ λογιζομένῳanythingτιto beεἶναιprofane;κοινὸνto that oneἐκείνῳit isprofane.κοινόν
Forγὰρifεἰbecause ofδιὰfoodβρῶμαyour brotherὁ ἀδελφός σουis grieved,λυπεῖταιyou are no longerοὐκέτιwalkingπεριπατεῖςaccording toκατὰlove.ἀγάπηνDo notμὴby your foodτῷ βρώματί σουdestroyἀπόλλυεthat oneἐκεῖνονforὑπὲρwhomοὗthe MessiahΧριστὸςdied.ἀπέθανεν
Soοὖνyourὑμῶνgoodτὸ ἀγαθόνmust notμὴbe slandered.βλασφημείσθω

Do not,μὴfor the sake ofἕνεκενfood,βρώματοςtear downκατάλυεthe workτὸ ἔργονof God.τοῦ θεοῦAll thingsπάνταareindeedμὲνclean,καθαράbutἀλλὰit isevilκακὸνfor the personτῷ ἀνθρώπῳwhoτῷeatsἐσθίοντιwithδιὰstumbling.προσκόμματος
It isgoodκαλὸνnotτὸ μὴto eatφαγεῖνmeatκρέαorμηδὲto drinkπιεῖνwineοἶνονorμηδὲto do anythingbyἐνwhichᾧyour brotherὁ ἀδελφός σουstumblesπροσκόπτειorἢfalls awayσκανδαλίζεταιorἢis weak.ἀσθενεῖ
The faithπίστινthatἣνyouσὺhave,ἔχειςkeepἔχεtoκατὰyourselfσεαυτὸνbeforeἐνώπιονGod.τοῦ θεοῦHappy isμακάριοςthe one who does notὁ μὴjudgeκρίνωνhimselfἑαυτὸνinἐνwhatᾧhe approves.δοκιμάζει
Butδὲthe one who doubts,ὁ διακρινόμενοςifἐὰνhe eats,φάγῃis condemned,κατακέκριταιbecauseὅτιit isnotοὐκfromἐκfaith;πίστεωςandδὲeverythingπᾶνthatὃisnotοὐκfromἐκfaithπίστεωςisἐστίνsin.ἁμαρτία
