Nowδὲweἡμεῖςwho are strongοἱ δυνατοὶoughtὈφείλομενto bearβαστάζεινthe weaknessesτὰ ἀσθενήματαof those without strength,τῶν ἀδυνάτωνandκαὶnotμὴto pleaseἀρέσκεινourselves.ἑαυτοῖς

Let eachἕκαστοςof usἡμῶνpleaseἀρεσκέτωhis neighborτῷ πλησίονforεἰςhis good,τὸ ἀγαθὸνforπρὸςbuilding up.οἰκοδομήν

Forγὰρevenκαὶthe Messiahὁ Χριστὸςdid notοὐχpleaseἤρεσενhimself,ἑαυτῷbut,ἀλλὰasκαθὼςit is written:γέγραπταιThe insultsΟἱ ὀνειδισμοὶof those who insultτῶν ὀνειδιζόντωνyouσεfellἐπέπεσανonἐπ’me.ἐμέ1

Forγὰρwhateverὅσαwas written beforehandπροεγράφηwas writtenἐγράφηforεἰςourτὴν ἡμετέρανinstruction,διδασκαλίανso thatἵναthroughδιὰperseveranceτῆς ὑπομονῆςandκαὶthroughδιὰthe comfortτῆς παρακλήσεωςof the Scripturesτῶν γραφῶνwe might haveἔχωμενhope.τὴν ἐλπίδα

Andδὲmayδῴηthe Godὁ θεὸςof perseveranceτῆς ὑπομονῆςandκαὶof comfortτῆς παρακλήσεωςgrantδῴηyouὑμῖνto be of the same mindτὸ αὐτὸ φρονεῖνamongἐνone anotherἀλλήλοιςaccording toκατὰthe MessiahΧριστὸνJesus,Ἰησοῦν

so thatἵναwith one accordὁμοθυμαδὸνwithἐνoneἑνὶvoiceστόματιyou may glorifyδοξάζητεthe Godτὸν θεὸνandκαὶFatherπατέραof ourτοῦ ἡμῶνLordκυρίουJesusἸησοῦthe Messiah.Χριστοῦ

ThereforeΔιὸwelcomeπροσλαμβάνεσθεone another,ἀλλήλουςjust asκαθὼςthe Messiahὁ Χριστὸςalsoκαὶwelcomedπροσελάβετοyou,ὑμᾶςforεἰςthe gloryδόξανof God.τοῦ θεοῦ

ForγὰρI sayλέγωthat the MessiahΧριστὸνhas becomeγεγενῆσθαιa servantδιάκονονof the circumcisionπεριτομῆςon behalf ofὑπὲρthe truthἀληθείαςof God,θεοῦin order toεἰς τὸconfirmβεβαιῶσαιthe promisesτὰς ἐπαγγελίαςmade to the fathers,τῶν πατέρων

andδὲthatthe nationsτὰ ἔθνηmight glorifyδοξάσαιGodτὸν θεόνforὑπὲρhis mercy,ἐλέουςasκαθὼςit is written:γέγραπταιThereforeΔιὰ τοῦτοI will praiseἐξομολογήσομαίyouσοιamongἐνthe nations,ἔθνεσιandκαὶsingψαλῶto your name.τῷ ὀνόματί σου2

Andκαὶagainπάλινit says:λέγειRejoice,Εὐφράνθητεnations,ἔθνηwithμετὰhis people.τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ1

Andκαὶagain:πάλινPraiseΑἰνεῖτεthe Lord,τὸν κύριονallπάνταthe nations,τὰ ἔθνηandκαὶletἐπαινεσάτωσανallπάντεςthe peoplesοἱ λαοίpraiseἐπαινεσάτωσανhim.αὐτὸν1

AndκαὶagainπάλινIsaiahἨσαΐαςsays:λέγειThere will beἜσταιthe rootἡ ῥίζαof Jesse,τοῦ Ἰεσσαίandκαὶthe one who risesὁ ἀνιστάμενοςto ruleἄρχεινthe nations;ἐθνῶνinἐπ’himαὐτῷthe nationsἔθνηwill hope.ἐλπιοῦσιν1

Nowδὲmayπληρώσαιthe Godὁ θεὸςof hopeτῆς ἐλπίδοςfillπληρώσαιyouὑμᾶςwith allπάσηςjoyχαρᾶςandκαὶpeaceεἰρήνηςinἐνbelieving,τῷ πιστεύεινso thatεἰς τὸyouὑμᾶςmay aboundπερισσεύεινinἐνhopeτῇ ἐλπίδιbyἐνthe powerδυνάμειof the HolyἁγίουSpirit.πνεύματος

AndδέI myselfκαὶ αὐτὸς ἐγὼam convinced,Πέπεισμαιmy brothers,ἀδελφοί μουaboutπερὶyou,ὑμῶνthatὅτιyou yourselvesκαὶ αὐτοὶareἐστεfullμεστοίof goodness,ἀγαθωσύνηςfilledπεπληρωμένοιwith allπάσηςknowledge,γνώσεωςableδυνάμενοιalsoκαὶto admonishνουθετεῖνone another.ἀλλήλους

ButδὲI have writtenἔγραψαto youὑμῖνrather boldlyτολμηρότερονin part,ἀπὸ μέρουςasὡςreminding you againἐπαναμιμνῄσκων ὑμᾶςbecause ofδιὰthe graceτὴν χάρινgivenτὴν δοθεῖσάνmeμοιbyὑπὸGod,τοῦ θεοῦ

thatεἰς τὸIμεmay beεἶναίa public servantλειτουργὸνof the MessiahΧριστοῦJesusἸησοῦtoεἰςthe nations,τὰ ἔθνηperforming the sacred serviceἱερουργοῦνταof the good newsτὸ εὐαγγέλιονof God,τοῦ θεοῦso thatἵναthe offeringἡ προσφορὰof the nationsτῶν ἐθνῶνmay becomeγένηταιacceptable,εὐπρόσδεκτοςsanctifiedἡγιασμένηbyἐνthe HolyἁγίῳSpirit.πνεύματι

SoοὖνI haveἔχωmy boastingτὴν καύχησινinἐνthe MessiahΧριστῷJesusἸησοῦin the thingsτὰthat pertaintoπρὸςGod.τὸν θεόν

ForγὰρI will notοὐdareτολμήσωto speakλαλεῖνof anythingτιthatὧνthe MessiahΧριστὸςhas notοὐaccomplishedκατειργάσατοthroughδι’meἐμοῦforεἰςthe obedienceὑπακοὴνof the nations,ἐθνῶνby wordλόγῳandκαὶdeed,ἔργῳ

byἐνthe powerδυνάμειof signsσημείωνandκαὶwonders,τεράτωνbyἐνthe powerδυνάμειof the Spirit,πνεύματοςso thatὥστεfromἀπὸJerusalemἸερουσαλὴμandκαὶaroundκύκλῳas far asμέχριIllyricumτοῦ ἸλλυρικοῦIμεhave fulfilledπεπληρωκέναιthe good newsτὸ εὐαγγέλιονof the Messiah;τοῦ Χριστοῦ

andδὲso,οὕτωςmaking it my ambitionφιλοτιμούμενονto announce the good newsεὐαγγελίζεσθαιnotοὐχwhereὅπουthe MessiahΧριστόςwas already named,ὠνομάσθηso thatἵναI would notμὴbuildοἰκοδομῶonἐπ’another’sἀλλότριονfoundation,θεμέλιον

but,ἀλλὰasκαθὼςit is written:γέγραπταιThose to whomΟἷςit was notοὐκannouncedἀνηγγέληaboutπερὶhimαὐτοῦwill see,ὄψονταιandκαὶthose whoοἳhave notοὐκheardἀκηκόασινwill understand.συνήσουσιν1

This is whyΔιὸalsoκαὶI was hinderedἐνεκοπτόμηνso many timesτὰ πολλὰfrom comingτοῦ ἐλθεῖνtoπρὸςyou.ὑμᾶς

Butδὲnow,νυνὶno longerμηκέτιhavingἔχωνa placeτόπονinἐνtheseτοῖς τούτοιςregions,κλίμασιandδὲhavingἔχωνa longingἐπιποθίανto comeτοῦ ἐλθεῖνtoπρὸςyouὑμᾶςforἀπὸmanyἱκανῶνyears,ἐτῶν

wheneverὡς ἂνI goπορεύωμαιtoεἰςSpainτὴν Σπανίαν—forγὰρI hopeἐλπίζωto seeθεάσασθαιyouὑμᾶςas I pass throughδιαπορευόμενοςandκαὶto be sent onπροπεμφθῆναιthereἐκεῖbyὑφ’you,ὑμῶνonceἐὰνI have firstπρῶτονenjoyedἐμπλησθῶyour companyὑμῶνfor a while—ἀπὸ μέρους

ButδὲnowνυνὶI am goingπορεύομαιtoεἰςJerusalemἸερουσαλὴμservingδιακονῶνthe saints.τοῖς ἁγίοις

ForγὰρMacedoniaΜακεδονίαandκαὶAchaiaἈχαΐαwere pleasedεὐδόκησανto makeποιήσασθαιa certainτινὰcollectionκοινωνίανforεἰςthe poorτοὺς πτωχοὺςamong the saintsτῶν ἁγίωνinτῶν ἐνJerusalem.Ἰερουσαλήμ

Forγάρthey were pleased to do it,εὐδόκησανandκαὶthey areεἰσὶνtheirαὐτῶνdebtors;ὀφειλέταιforγὰρifεἰthe nationsτὰ ἔθνηhave sharedἐκοινώνησανin theirαὐτῶνspiritual things,τοῖς πνευματικοῖςthey oughtὀφείλουσινalsoκαὶto render serviceλειτουργῆσαιto themαὐτοῖςinἐνmaterial things.τοῖς σαρκικοῖς

So,οὖνhaving completedἐπιτελέσαςthisτοῦτοandκαὶhaving sealedσφραγισάμενοςto themαὐτοῖςthisτοῦτονfruit,τὸν καρπὸνI will goἀπελεύσομαιby way ofδι’youὑμῶνtoεἰςSpain.Σπανίαν

AndδὲI knowοἶδαthatὅτιwhen I comeἐρχόμενοςtoπρὸςyou,ὑμᾶςI will comeἐλεύσομαιinἐνthe fullnessπληρώματιof the blessingεὐλογίαςof the Messiah.Χριστοῦ

NowδὲI urgeΠαρακαλῶyou,ὑμᾶςbrothers,ἀδελφοίbyδιὰourἡμῶνLordτοῦ κυρίουJesusἸησοῦthe MessiahΧριστοῦandκαὶbyδιὰthe loveτῆς ἀγάπηςof the Spirit,τοῦ πνεύματοςto strive together withσυναγωνίσασθαίmeμοιinἐνyour prayersταῖς προσευχαῖςforὑπὲρmeἐμοῦtoπρὸςGod,τὸν θεόν

thatἵναI may be deliveredῥυσθῶfromἀπὸthe disobedientτῶν ἀπειθούντωνinἐνJudea,τῇ Ἰουδαίᾳandκαὶthatmyμουserviceἡ διακονίαforἡ εἰςJerusalemἸερουσαλὴμmay beγένηταιacceptableεὐπρόσδεκτοςto the saints,τοῖς ἁγίοις

so thatἵναbyδιὰGod’sθεοῦwillθελήματοςI may comeἐλθὼνtoπρὸςyouὑμᾶςwithἐνjoyχαρᾷand be refreshed together withσυναναπαύσωμαιyou.ὑμῖν

Andδὲthe Godὁ θεὸςof peaceτῆς εἰρήνηςbewithμετὰallπάντωνof you.ὑμῶνAmen.ἀμήν
