And at thatוּבָ הַהִיאtimeעֵתMichaelמִיכָאֵלwill stand up,יַעֲמֹדthe greatהַגָּדוֹלprinceהַשַּׂרwho standsהָעֹמֵדover the sonsעַל בְּנֵיof your people;עַמֶּךָand there will beוְהָיְתָהa timeעֵתof distressצָרָהsuch asאֲשֶׁרhas notלֹאbeenנִהְיְתָהsince there wasמִהְיוֹתa nationגּוֹיuntil thatעַד הָ הַהִיאtime;עֵתand at thatוּבָ הַהִיאtimeעֵתyour peopleעַמְּךָwill be delivered,יִמָּלֵטeveryoneכָּלwho is foundהַנִּמְצָאwrittenכָּתוּבin the book.בַּסֵּפֶר
And manyוְרַבִּיםof those who sleepמִיְּשֵׁנֵיin the groundאַדְמַתof dustעָפָרwill awake,יָקִיצוּtheseאֵלֶּהto eternalעוֹלָםlife,לְחַיֵּיand thoseוְאֵלֶּהto reproaches,לַחֲרָפוֹתto eternalעוֹלָםhorror.לְדִרְאוֹן
And the insightfulוְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִיםwill shineיַזְהִרוּlike the brightnessכְּזֹהַרof the vault,הָרָקִיעַand those who makeוּמַצְדִּיקֵיthe manyהָרַבִּיםrighteous,מַצְדִּיקֵיlike the starsכַּכּוֹכָבִיםforeverלְעוֹלָםand ever.וָעֶד
And you,וְאַתָּהDaniel,דָנִיֵּאלkeep secretסְתֹםthe wordsהַדְּבָרִיםand sealוַחֲתֹםthe bookהַסֵּפֶרuntil the timeעַד עֵתof the end;קֵץmanyרַבִּיםwill rush here and there,יְשֹׁטְטוּand knowledgeהַדָּעַתwill increase.”וְתִרְבֶּה
And I,אֲנִיDaniel,דָנִיֵּאלlooked,וְרָאִיתִיand look,וְהִנֵּהtwoשְׁנַיִםothersאֲחֵרִיםwere standing,עֹמְדִיםoneאֶחָדon this side,הֵנָּהon the bankלִשְׂפַתof the river,הַיְאֹרand oneוְאֶחָדon that side,הֵנָּהon the bankלִשְׂפַתof the river.הַיְאֹר
And oneוַsaidיֹּאמֶרto the manלָאִישׁclothedלְבוּשׁin linen,הַבַּדִּיםwho wasאֲשֶׁרaboveמִמַּעַל לְthe watersמֵימֵיof the river,הַיְאֹר“Until whenעַד מָתַיwill it be until the endקֵץof these wonders?”הַפְּלָאוֹת
And I heardוָאֶשְׁמַעthe manאֶת הָאִישׁclothedלְבוּשׁin linen,הַבַּדִּיםwho wasאֲשֶׁרaboveמִמַּעַל לְthe watersמֵימֵיof the river,הַיְאֹרand he raisedוַיָּרֶםhis right handיְמִינוֹand his left handוּשְׂמֹאלוֹto the heavensאֶל הַשָּׁמַיִםand sworeוַיִּשָּׁבַעby the one who livesבְּחֵיforeverהָעוֹלָםthatכִּיit will be for a time,לְמוֹעֵדtimes,מוֹעֲדִיםand half a time;וָחֵצִיand whenוּכְthe shatteringנַפֵּץof the powerיַדof the holyקֹדֶשׁpeopleעַםcomes to an end,כַלּוֹתallכָלthese thingsאֵלֶּהwill be completed.תִּכְלֶינָה
And Iוַאֲנִיheard,שָׁמַעְתִּיbut I did notוְלֹאunderstand;אָבִיןand I said,וָאֹמְרָה“My lord,אֲדֹנִיwhatמָהwill be the outcomeאַחֲרִיתof these things?”אֵלֶּה
And he said,וַיֹּאמֶר“Go,לֵךְDaniel,דָּנִיֵּאלforכִּיthe wordsהַדְּבָרִיםare kept secretסְתֻמִיםand sealedוַחֲתֻמִיםuntil the timeעַד עֵתof the end.קֵץ
Manyרַבִּיםwill be purifiedיִתְבָּרֲרוּand made whiteוְיִתְלַבְּנוּand refined;וְיִצָּרְפוּand the wickedוְ רְשָׁעִיםwill act wickedly,הִרְשִׁיעוּand noneוְלֹא כָּלof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםwill understand,יָבִינוּbut the insightfulוְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִיםwill understand.יָבִינוּ
And from the timeוּמֵעֵתthat the continual sacrificeהַתָּמִידis taken awayהוּסַרand that the detestable thingשִׁקּוּץthat makes desolateשֹׁמֵםis set up,וְלָתֵתthere will be a thousandאֶלֶףtwo hundredמָאתַיִםand ninetyוְתִשְׁעִיםdays.יָמִים
Happy isאַשְׁרֵיthe one who waitsהַמְחַכֶּהand reachesוְיַגִּיעַtheלְthousandאֶלֶףthree hundredשְׁלֹשׁ מֵאוֹתthirtyשְׁלֹשִׁיםand fiveוַחֲמִשָּׁהdays.יָמִים
And you,וְאַתָּהgoלֵךְto the end;לַקֵּץand you will restוְתָנוּחַand riseוְתַעֲמֹדto your lotלְגֹרָלְךָat the endלְקֵץof the days.”הַיָּמִין
