and it went outוְיָצָאsouthאֶל מִנֶּגֶבof the Ascentלְמַעֲלֵהof Akrabbim,עַקְרַבִּיםand passed alongוְעָבַרto Zin,צִנָהand went upוְעָלָהsouthמִנֶּגֶבof Kadesh-barnea,לְקָדֵשׁ בַּרְנֵעַand passed alongוְעָבַרHezron,חֶצְרוֹןand went upוְעָלָהto Addar,אַדָּרָהand turnedוְנָסַבto Karka;הַקַּרְקָעָה
and it passed alongוְעָבַרto Azmon,עַצְמוֹנָהand went outוְיָצָאto the Brookנַחַלof Egypt,מִצְרַיִםandוְthe endsתֹּצְאוֹתof the borderהַגְּבוּלwereהָיוּat the sea.יָמָּהThisזֶהshall beיִהְיֶהyourלָכֶםsouthנֶגֶבborder.גְּבוּל
And the eastוּ קֵדְמָהborderגְבוּלwasthe SaltהַמֶּלַחSeaיָםas far asעַדthe mouthקְצֵהof the Jordan.הַיַּרְדֵּןAnd the borderוּגְבוּלon the north sideלִפְאַת צָפוֹנָהranfrom the bayמִלְּשׁוֹןof the seaהַיָּםat the mouthמִקְצֵהof the Jordan;הַיַּרְדֵּן

and the borderוְ הַגְּבוּלwent outיָצָאtoאֶלthe slopeכֶּתֶףof Ekronעֶקְרוֹןto the north,צָפוֹנָהand the borderוְ הַגְּבוּלbentתָאַרto Shikkeron,שִׁכְּרוֹנָהand passed alongוְעָבַרto MountהַרBaalah,הַבַּעֲלָהand went outוְיָצָאto Jabneel,יַבְנְאֵלandוְthe endsתֹּצְאוֹתof the borderהַגְּבוּלwereהָיוּat the sea.יָמָּה
Andוּthe westהַיָּמָּהborderגְבוּלwasthe GreatהַגָּדוֹלSeaיָםand its coast.וּגְבוּלThisזֶהisthe borderגְּבוּלof the sonsבְּנֵיof Judahיְהוּדָהall aroundסָבִיבaccording to their families.לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם
And to Calebוּלְכָלֵבsonבֶּןof Jephunnehיְפֻנֶּהhe gaveנָתַןa portionחֵלֶקamongבְּתוֹךְthe sonsבְּנֵיof Judah,יְהוּדָהaccording to the commandאֶל פִּיof YHWHיְהוָהto Joshua:לִיהוֹשֻׁעַKiriath-arba,קִרְיַת אַרְבַּעthe fatherאֲבִיof Anakהָעֲנָק(thatהִיאisHebron).חֶבְרוֹן
And Calebוַ כָּלֵבdispossessedיֹּרֶשׁfrom thereמִשָּׁםthe threeשְׁלוֹשָׁהsonsבְּנֵיof Anak:הָעֲנָקSheshai,אֶת שֵׁשַׁיAhiman,וְאֶת אֲחִימַןand Talmai,וְאֶת תַּלְמַיthe descendantsיְלִידֵיof Anak.הָעֲנָק
And he went upוַיַּעַלfrom thereמִשָּׁםagainstאֶלthe inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵיof Debir;דְּבִרand the nameוְשֵׁםof Debirדְּבִרwas formerlyלְפָנִיםKiriath-sepher.קִרְיַת סֵפֶר
And Calebוַ כָּלֵבsaid,יֹּאמֶר“WhoeverאֲשֶׁרstrikesיַכֶּהKiriath-sepherקִרְיַת סֵפֶרand takes it,וּלְכָדָהּI will giveוְנָתַתִּיto himלוֹAchsahעַכְסָהmy daughterבִתִּיas wife.”לְאִשָּׁה
And Othnielוַ עָתְנִיאֵלsonבֶּןof Kenaz,קְנַזthe brotherאֲחִיof Caleb,כָלֵבtook it,יִּלְכְּדָהּand he gaveוַיִּתֶּןhimלוֹAchsahעַכְסָהhis daughterבִתּוֹas wife.לְאִשָּׁה
And whenוַיְהִי בְּshe came,בוֹאָהּshe urged himוַתְּסִיתֵהוּto askלִשְׁאוֹלher fatherמֵאֵת אָבִיfor the field.הָ שָׂדֶהAnd she got downוַתִּצְנַחfromמֵעַלthe donkey,הַחֲמוֹרand Calebוַ כָּלֵבsaidיֹּאמֶרto her,לָהּ“Whatמַהis the matterwith you?”לָּךְ
And she said,וַתֹּאמֶר“Giveתְּנָהmeלִּיa blessing;בְרָכָהsinceכִּיyou have given meנְתַתָּנִיthe landאֶרֶץof the Negev,הַנֶּגֶבgiveוְנָתַתָּהmeלִיalsospringsגֻּלֹּתof water.”מָיִםAnd he gaveוַיִּתֶּןherלָהּthe upperעִלִּיּוֹתspringsגֻּלֹּתand the lowerוְאֵת תַּחְתִּיּוֹתsprings.גֻּלֹּת
