AndוַYHWHיְהוָהspokeיְדַבֵּרto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהsaying,לֵּאמֹר
“Commandצַוthe sonsאֶת בְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלto bringוְיִקְחוּyouאֵלֶיךָpureזָךְoilשֶׁמֶןof olives,זַיִתbeaten,כָּתִיתfor the light,לַמָּאוֹרto makeלְהַעֲלֹתa lampנֵרburn continually.תָּמִיד
Outsideמִחוּץthe veilלְפָרֹכֶתof the testimony,הָעֵדֻתin the tentבְּאֹהֶלof meeting,מוֹעֵדAaronאַהֲרֹןshall arrangeיַעֲרֹךְitאֹתוֹfrom eveningמֵעֶרֶבtoעַדmorningבֹּקֶרbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWHיְהוָהcontinually;תָּמִידit is a statuteחֻקַּתforeverעוֹלָםthroughout your generations.לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם
Onעַלthe pureהַטְּהֹרָהlampstandהַמְּנֹרָהhe shall arrangeיַעֲרֹךְthe lampsאֶת הַנֵּרוֹתbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWHיְהוָהcontinually.תָּמִיד
And you shall takeוְלָקַחְתָּfine flourסֹלֶתand bakeוְאָפִיתָtwelveשְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵהloavesחַלּוֹתof it;אֹתָהּtwoשְׁנֵיtenths of an ephahעֶשְׂרֹנִיםshall beיִהְיֶהin eachהָאֶחָתloaf.הַחַלָּה
And you shall setוְשַׂמְתָּthemאוֹתָםin twoשְׁתַּיִםrows,מַעֲרָכוֹתsixשֵׁשׁin a row,הַמַּעֲרָכֶתonעַלthe pureהַטָּהֹרtableהַשֻּׁלְחָןbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH.יְהוָה
And you shall putוְנָתַתָּpureזַכָּהfrankincenseלְבֹנָהonעַלeach row,הַמַּעֲרֶכֶתand it shall beוְהָיְתָהfor the breadלַלֶּחֶםas a memorial portion,לְאַזְכָּרָהa fire offeringאִשֶּׁהto YHWH.לַיהוָה
Every Sabbath dayבְּיוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת בְּיוֹם הַשַּׁבָּתhe shall arrange itיַעַרְכֶנּוּbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWHיְהוָהcontinually,תָּמִידfromמֵאֵתthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלas an eternalעוֹלָםcovenant.בְּרִית
And it shall beוְהָיְתָהfor Aaronלְאַהֲרֹןand for his sons,וּלְבָנָיוand they shall eat itוַאֲכָלֻהוּin a holyבְּ קָדֹשׁplace,מָקוֹםforכִּיitהוּאis most holyקֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁיםfor himלוֹfrom the fire offeringsמֵאִשֵּׁיof YHWH,יְהוָהa portionחָקforever.”עוֹלָם
And the sonוַ בֶּןof an Israeliteיִשְׂרְאֵלִיתwoman,אִשָּׁהwhoוְהוּאwas the sonבֶּןof an Egyptianמִצְרִיman,אִישׁwent outיֵּצֵאamongבְּתוֹךְthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israel;יִשְׂרָאֵלand the sonוַ בֶּןof the Israelite womanהַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִיתand a manוְאִישׁof Israelהַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִיfoughtיִּנָּצוּin the camp.בַּמַּחֲנֶה
And the sonוַ בֶּןof the Israeliteהַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִיתwomanהָאִשָּׁהblasphemedיִּקֹּבthe Nameאֶת הַשֵּׁםand cursed;וַיְקַלֵּלand they broughtוַיָּבִיאוּhimאֹתוֹtoאֶלMoses.מֹשֶׁהNow the nameוְשֵׁםof his motherאִמּוֹwas Shelomith,שְׁלֹמִיתdaughterבַּתof Dibri,דִּבְרִיof the tribeלְמַטֵּהof Dan.דָן
And they put himוַיַּנִּיחֻהוּin custody,בַּמִּשְׁמָרto make the matter clearלִפְרֹשׁto themלָהֶםbyעַלthe mouthפִּיof YHWH.יְהוָה
AndוַYHWHיְהוָהspokeיְדַבֵּרto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהsaying,לֵּאמֹר
“Bringהוֹצֵאthe one who cursedאֶת הַמְקַלֵּלoutsideאֶל מִחוּץthe camp,לַמַּחֲנֶהand let allוְ כָלwho heardהַשֹּׁמְעִיםlayסָמְכוּtheir handsאֶת יְדֵיהֶםonעַלhis head,רֹאשׁוֹand let allוְ כָּלthe communityהָעֵדָהstoneרָגְמוּhim.אֹתוֹ
And you shall speakוְ תְּדַבֵּרto the sonsאֶל בְּנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלsaying:לֵאמֹרAny manאִישׁ אִישׁwhoכִּיcursesיְקַלֵּלhis Elohimאֱלֹהָיוshall bearוְנָשָׂאhis sin.חֶטְאוֹ
And whoever blasphemesוְנֹקֵבthe nameשֵׁםof YHWHיְהוָהshall surelyמוֹתbe put to death;יוּמָתallכָּלthe communityהָעֵדָהshall surelyרָגוֹםstoneיִרְגְּמוּhim;בוֹthe resident alienכַּגֵּרas well as the native,כָּאֶזְרָחwhen he blasphemesבְּנָקְבוֹthe Name,שֵׁםshall be put to death.יוּמָת
And if a manוְאִישׁ כִּיstrikesיַכֶּהmortallyכָּל נֶפֶשׁany human being,אָדָםhe shall surelyמוֹתbe put to death.יוּמָת
And whoever strikesוּמַכֵּהa beastבְּהֵמָהmortallyנֶפֶשׁshall make it good,יְשַׁלְּמֶנָּהlifeנֶפֶשׁforתַּחַתlife.נָפֶשׁ
And if a manוְאִישׁ כִּיinflictsיִתֵּןa defectמוּםon his neighbor,בַּעֲמִיתוֹasכַּאֲשֶׁרhe has done,עָשָׂהsoכֵּןit shall be doneיֵעָשֶׂהto him:לּוֹ
fractureשֶׁבֶרforתַּחַתfracture,שֶׁבֶרeyeעַיִןforתַּחַתeye,עַיִןtoothשֵׁןforתַּחַתtooth;שֵׁןasכַּאֲשֶׁרhe has inflictedיִתֵּןa defectמוּםon a human being,בָּאָדָםsoכֵּןit shall be inflictedיִנָּתֶןon him.בּוֹ
And whoever strikesוּמַכֵּהa beastבְהֵמָהshall make it good,יְשַׁלְּמֶנָּהbut whoever strikesוּמַכֵּהa human beingאָדָםshall be put to death.יוּמָת
You shall haveיִהְיֶה לָכֶםoneאֶחָדrule:מִשְׁפַּטthe resident alienכַּגֵּרshall beיִהְיֶהlike the native;כָּאֶזְרָחforכִּיIאֲנִיam YHWHיְהוָהyour Elohim.”אֱלֹהֵיכֶם
And Mosesוַ מֹשֶׁהspokeיְדַבֵּרtoאֶלthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלand they brought outוַיּוֹצִיאוּthe one who cursedאֶת הַמְקַלֵּלtoאֶלoutsideמִחוּץthe campלַמַּחֲנֶהand stonedוַיִּרְגְּמוּhimאֹתוֹwith stones.אָבֶןAnd the sonsוּבְנֵיof IsraelיִשְׂרָאֵלdidעָשׂוּasכַּאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhad commandedצִוָּהMoses.אֶת מֹשֶׁה
