andκαὶhe sawεἶδενtwoδύοboatsπλοῖαstandingἑστῶταbyπαρὰthe lake;τὴν λίμνηνbutδὲthe fishermenοἱ ἁλιεῖςhad gotten outἀποβάντεςofἀπ’themαὐτῶνand were washingἔπλυνονthe nets.τὰ δίκτυα
Andδὲgettingἐμβὰςintoεἰςoneἓνof the boats,τῶν πλοίωνwhichὃwasἦνSimon’s,Σίμωνοςhe askedἠρώτησενhimαὐτὸνto put outἐπαναγαγεῖνa littleὀλίγονfromἀπὸthe land;τῆς γῆςandδὲsitting down,καθίσαςhe was teachingἐδίδασκενthe crowdsτοὺς ὄχλουςfromἐκthe boat.τοῦ πλοίου
Andδὲwhenὡςhe had stoppedἐπαύσατοspeaking,λαλῶνhe saidεἶπενtoπρὸςSimon,τὸν Σίμωνα“Put outἘπανάγαγεintoεἰςthe deep,τὸ βάθοςandκαὶlet downχαλάσατεyour netsτὰ δίκτυα ὑμῶνforεἰςa catch.”ἄγραν
AndκαὶSimonΣίμωνansweredἀποκριθεὶςand said,εἶπεν“Master,Ἐπιστάταthroughδι’the wholeὅληςnightνυκτὸςwe worked hardκοπιάσαντεςand caughtἐλάβομενnothing;οὐδὲνbutδὲatἐπὶyour wordτῷ ῥήματί σουI will let downχαλάσωthe nets.”τὰ δίκτυα
Andκαὶwhen they had doneποιήσαντεςthis,τοῦτοthey enclosedσυνέκλεισανa greatπολύnumberπλῆθοςof fish,ἰχθύωνandδὲtheir netsτὰ δίκτυα αὐτῶνwere tearing.διερρήσσετο
Andκαὶthey signaledκατένευσανto their partnersτοῖς μετόχοιςinἐνthe otherτῷ ἑτέρῳboatπλοίῳto comeτοῦ ἐλθόνταςand helpσυλλαβέσθαιthem;αὐτοῖςandκαὶthey cameἦλθονandκαὶfilledἔπλησανbothἀμφότεραthe boats,τὰ πλοῖαso thatὥστεtheyαὐτάwere sinking.βυθίζεσθαι
Butδὲwhen SimonΣίμωνPeterΠέτροςsaw it,ἰδὼνhe fell down atπροσέπεσενJesus’Ἰησοῦknees,τοῖς γόνασινsaying,λέγων“Go awayἜξελθεfromἀπ’me,ἐμοῦforὅτιI amεἰμιa sinfulἁμαρτωλόςman,ἀνὴρLord.”κύριε
Forγὰρamazementθάμβοςhad seizedπεριέσχενhimαὐτὸνandκαὶallπάνταςthoseτοὺςwithσὺνhimαὐτῷatἐπὶthe catchτῇ ἄγρᾳof fishτῶν ἰχθύωνthatὧνthey had taken,συνέλαβον
andδὲlikewiseὁμοίωςalsoκαὶJamesἸάκωβονandκαὶJohn,Ἰωάννηνsonsυἱοὺςof Zebedee,Ζεβεδαίουwhoοἳwereἦσανpartnersκοινωνοὶwith Simon.τῷ ΣίμωνιAndκαὶJesusὁ ἸησοῦςsaidεἶπενtoπρὸςSimon,τὸν Σίμωνα“Do notΜὴbe afraid;φοβοῦfromἀπὸnow onτοῦ νῦνyou will beἔσῃcatchingζωγρῶνpeople.”ἀνθρώπους
Andκαὶwhen they had broughtκαταγαγόντεςthe boatsτὰ πλοῖαtoἐπὶland,τὴν γῆνthey leftἀφέντεςeverythingπάνταand followedἠκολούθησανhim.αὐτῷ
AndΚαὶit happened,ἐγένετοwhileἐν τῷheαὐτὸνwasεἶναιinἐνoneμιᾷof the towns,τῶν πόλεωνlook,καὶ ἰδοὺthere wasa manἀνὴρfullπλήρηςof leprosy;λέπραςandκαὶwhen he sawἰδὼνJesus,τὸν Ἰησοῦνhe fellπεσὼνonἐπὶhis faceπρόσωπονand beggedἐδεήθηhim,αὐτοῦsaying,λέγων“Lord,Κύριεifἐὰνyou are willing,θέλῃςyou canδύνασαίmakeκαθαρίσαιmeμεclean.”καθαρίσαι
Andκαὶstretching outἐκτείναςhis hand,τὴν χεῖραhe touchedἥψατοhim,αὐτοῦsaying,εἰπών“I am willing;Θέλωbe made clean.”καθαρίσθητιAndκαὶat onceεὐθέωςthe leprosyἡ λέπραleftἀπῆλθενhim.ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ
Andκαὶheαὐτὸςorderedπαρήγγειλενhimαὐτῷto tellεἰπεῖνno one:μηδενὶ“Butἀλλὰgo,ἀπελθὼνshowδεῖξονyourselfσεαυτὸνto the priest,τῷ ἱερεῖandκαὶmake an offeringπροσένεγκεforπερὶyour cleansing,τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ σουasκαθὼςMosesΜωϋσῆςcommanded,προσέταξενasεἰςa testimonyμαρτύριονto them.”αὐτοῖς
Butδὲthe wordὁ λόγοςaboutπερὶhimαὐτοῦwas spreadingδιήρχετοeven more,μᾶλλονandκαὶgreatπολλοὶcrowdsὄχλοιwere gatheringσυνήρχοντοto hearἀκούεινandκαὶto be healedθεραπεύεσθαιofἀπὸtheir illnesses.τῶν ἀσθενειῶν αὐτῶν
Butδὲheαὐτὸςwouldἦνwithdrawὑποχωρῶνtoἐνthe deserted placesταῖς ἐρήμοιςandκαὶpray.προσευχόμενος
AndΚαὶit happened,ἐγένετοonἐνoneμιᾷof the days,τῶν ἡμερῶνthatheαὐτὸςwasἦνteaching,διδάσκωνandκαὶthere wereἦσανsitting thereκαθήμενοιPhariseesΦαρισαῖοιandκαὶteachers of the lawνομοδιδάσκαλοιwhoοἳhadἦσανcomeἐληλυθότεςfromἐκeveryπάσηςvillageκώμηςof Galileeτῆς ΓαλιλαίαςandκαὶJudeaἸουδαίαςandκαὶJerusalem;Ἰερουσαλήμandκαὶthe powerδύναμιςof the Lordκυρίουwasἦνwith himforεἰς τὸhimαὐτόνto heal.ἰᾶσθαι
Andκαὶlook,ἰδοὺmenἄνδρεςwere carryingφέροντεςonἐπὶa bedκλίνηςa manἄνθρωπονwhoὃςwasἦνparalyzed,παραλελυμένοςandκαὶthey were tryingἐζήτουνto bringεἰσενεγκεῖνhimαὐτὸνinεἰσενεγκεῖνandκαὶlay himθεῖναιbeforeἐνώπιονhim.αὐτοῦ
Andκαὶnotμὴfindingεὑρόντεςhowποίαςthey could bringεἰσενέγκωσινhim inαὐτὸνbecause ofδιὰthe crowd,τὸν ὄχλονthey went upἀναβάντεςonἐπὶthe roofτὸ δῶμαandletκαθῆκανhimαὐτὸνdownκαθῆκανthroughδιὰthe tilesτῶν κεράμωνwithσὺνthe stretcherτῷ κλινιδίῳintoεἰςthe middle,τὸ μέσονin front ofἔμπροσθενJesus.τοῦ Ἰησοῦ
Andκαὶseeingἰδὼνtheir faith,τὴν πίστιν αὐτῶνhe said,εἶπεν“Man,Ἄνθρωπεyour sinsαἱ ἁμαρτίαι σουare forgivenἀφέωνταίyou.”σοι
Andκαὶthe scribesοἱ γραμματεῖςandκαὶthe Phariseesοἱ Φαρισαῖοιbeganἤρξαντοto reason,διαλογίζεσθαιsaying,λέγοντες“WhoΤίςisἐστινthisοὗτοςwhoὃςspeaksλαλεῖblasphemies?βλασφημίαςWhoτίςcanδύναταιforgiveἀφεῖναιsinsἁμαρτίαςbutεἰ μὴGodὁ θεόςalone?”μόνος
ButδὲJesus,ὁ Ἰησοῦςperceivingἐπιγνοὺςtheir reasonings,τοὺς διαλογισμοὺς αὐτῶνansweredἀποκριθεὶςand saidεἶπενtoπρὸςthem,αὐτούς“WhyΤίare you reasoningδιαλογίζεσθεinἐνyour hearts?ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν
Whichτίisἐστινeasier,εὐκοπώτερονto say,εἰπεῖν‘Your sinsαἱ ἁμαρτίαι σουare forgivenἈφέωνταίyou,’σοιorἢto say,εἰπεῖν‘Get upἜγειρεandκαὶwalk’?περιπάτει
Butδὲso thatἵναyou may knowεἰδῆτεthatὅτιthe Sonὁ υἱὸςof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουhasἔχειauthorityἐξουσίανonἐπὶearthτῆς γῆςto forgiveἀφιέναιsins”ἁμαρτίας—he saidεἶπενto the paralyzed man—τῷ παραλελυμένῳ“I sayλέγωto you,Σοὶget up,ἔγειρεandκαὶpick upἄραςyour stretcherτὸ κλινίδιόν σουand goπορεύουtoεἰςyour home.”τὸν οἶκόν σου
Andκαὶimmediatelyπαραχρῆμαhe got upἀναστὰςbeforeἐνώπιονthem,αὐτῶνpicked upἄραςwhatὃhe had been lyingκατέκειτοon,ἐφ’and went awayἀπῆλθενtoεἰςhis home,τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦglorifyingδοξάζωνGod.τὸν θεόν
Andκαὶamazementἔκστασιςseizedἔλαβενthem all,ἅπανταςandκαὶthey were glorifyingἐδόξαζονGod,τὸν θεόνandκαὶthey were filledἐπλήσθησανwith fear,φόβουsaying,λέγοντες“We have seenΕἴδομενincredible thingsπαράδοξαtoday.”σήμερον
AndΚαὶafterμετὰthisταῦταhe went outἐξῆλθενandκαὶsawἐθεάσατοa tax collectorτελώνηνnamedὀνόματιLeviΛευὶνsittingκαθήμενονatἐπὶthe tax booth,τὸ τελώνιονandκαὶhe saidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“FollowἈκολούθειme.”μοι
Andκαὶleaving behindκαταλιπὼνeverything,πάνταhe got upἀναστὰςand began followingἠκολούθειhim.αὐτῷ
AndΚαὶLeviΛευὶςgaveἐποίησενa greatμεγάληνbanquetδοχὴνfor himαὐτῷinἐνhis house;τῇ οἰκίᾳ αὐτοῦandκαὶthere wasἦνa largeπολὺςcrowdὄχλοςof tax collectorsτελωνῶνandκαὶothersἄλλωνwhoοἳwereἦσανreclining at tableκατακείμενοιwithμετ’them.αὐτῶν
Andκαὶthe Phariseesοἱ Φαρισαῖοιandκαὶtheir scribesοἱ γραμματεῖς αὐτῶνwere grumblingἐγόγγυζονtoπρὸςhis disciples,τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦsaying,λέγοντες“WhyΔιὰ τίdo you eatἐσθίετεandκαὶdrinkπίνετεwithμετὰthe tax collectorsτῶν τελωνῶνandκαὶsinners?”ἁμαρτωλῶν
AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςansweredἀποκριθεὶςand saidεἶπενtoπρὸςthem,αὐτούς“Those who are wellοἱ ὑγιαίνοντεςhaveἔχουσινnoΟὐneedχρείανof a doctor,ἰατροῦbutἀλλὰthose whoοἱare sick.κακῶς ἔχοντες
I have notοὐκcomeἐλήλυθαto callκαλέσαιthe righteous,δικαίουςbutἀλλὰsinnersἁμαρτωλοὺςtoεἰςa change of mind.”μετάνοιαν
AndδὲtheyΟἱsaidεἶπανtoπρὸςhim,αὐτόν“The disciplesΟἱ μαθηταὶof JohnἸωάννουfastνηστεύουσινoftenπυκνὰandκαὶmakeποιοῦνταιpetitions,δεήσειςandκαὶso doὁμοίωςthoseοἱof the Pharisees,τῶν Φαρισαίωνbutδὲyoursοἱ σοὶeatἐσθίουσινandκαὶdrink.”πίνουσιν
Andδὲheὁsaidεἶπενtoπρὸςthem,αὐτούς“You cannotΜὴ δύνασθεmakeποιῆσαιthe wedding guestsτοὺς υἱοὺς τοῦ νυμφῶνοςfastνηστεῦσαιwhileἐν ᾧthe bridegroomὁ νυμφίοςisἐστινwithμετ’them,αὐτῶνcan you?Μὴ δύνασθε
Butδὲdaysἡμέραιwill come,ἐλεύσονταιandκαὶwhenὅτανthe bridegroomὁ νυμφίοςis taken awayἀπαρθῇfromἀπ’them,αὐτῶνthenτότεthey will fastνηστεύσουσινinἐνthoseἐκείναιςdays.”ταῖς ἡμέραις
Andδὲhe was also tellingἔλεγεν καὶa parableπαραβολὴνtoπρὸςthem:αὐτοὺς“No oneΟὐδεὶςtearsσχίσαςa patchἐπίβλημαfromἀπὸa newκαινοῦgarmentἱματίουand puts itἐπιβάλλειonἐπὶan oldπαλαιόνgarment;ἱμάτιονotherwise,εἰ δὲ μήγεhe will tearσχίσειthe newτὸ καινὸνtoo,καὶandκαὶthe patchτὸ ἐπίβλημαfromτὸ ἀπὸthe newτοῦ καινοῦwill notοὐmatchσυμφωνήσειthe old.τῷ παλαιῷ
Andκαὶno oneοὐδεὶςputsβάλλειnewνέονwineοἶνονintoεἰςoldπαλαιούςwineskins;ἀσκοὺςotherwiseεἰ δὲ μήγεthe newὁ νέοςwineὁ οἶνοςwill burstῥήξειthe skins,τοὺς ἀσκούςandκαὶitαὐτὸςwill be spilled,ἐκχυθήσεταιandκαὶthe skinsοἱ ἀσκοὶwill be destroyed.ἀπολοῦνται
Butἀλλὰnewνέονwineοἶνονmust be putβλητέονintoεἰςnewκαινοὺςwineskins.ἀσκοὺς
Andκαὶno oneοὐδεὶςwho has drunkπιὼνold wineπαλαιὸνwantsθέλειnew;νέονforγάρhe says,λέγει‘The oldὉ παλαιὸςisἐστινgood.’”χρηστός
