AndΚαὶgetting upἀναστὰςfrom there,ἐκεῖθενhe goesἔρχεταιintoεἰςthe regionτὰ ὅριαof Judeaτῆς Ἰουδαίαςandκαὶbeyondπέρανthe Jordan;τοῦ Ἰορδάνουandκαὶcrowdsὄχλοιgatherσυμπορεύονταιaroundπρὸςhimαὐτόνagain,πάλινandκαὶasὡςwas his custom,εἰώθειhe was againπάλινteachingἐδίδασκενthem.αὐτούς
AndΚαὶthey were askingἐπηρώτωνhimαὐτὸνwhetherεἰit is lawfulἔξεστινfor a manἀνδρὶto divorceἀπολῦσαιhis wife,γυναῖκαtestingπειράζοντεςhim.αὐτόν
Butδὲheὁansweredἀποκριθεὶςand saidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“WhatΤίdid MosesΜωϋσῆςcommandἐνετείλατοyou?”ὑμῖν
Andδὲtheyοἱsaid,εἶπαν“MosesΜωϋσῆςpermittedἘπέτρεψενa manto writeγράψαιa certificateβιβλίονof divorceἀποστασίουandκαὶto divorce her.”ἀπολῦσαι
ButδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“Because ofΠρὸςyour hardness of heartτὴν σκληροκαρδίαν ὑμῶνhe wroteἔγραψενyouὑμῖνthis commandment.τὴν ἐντολὴν ταύτην
Butδὲfromἀπὸthe beginningἀρχῆςof creation,κτίσεως‘maleἄρσενandκαὶfemaleθῆλυhe madeἐποίησενthem.’αὐτούς
‘For this reasonἕνεκεν τούτουa manἄνθρωποςwill leaveκαταλείψειhis fatherτὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦandκαὶmotherτὴν μητέραandκαὶbe joinedπροσκολληθήσεταιtoπρὸςhis wife,τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ
andκαὶthe twoοἱ δύοwill becomeἔσονταιoneμίανflesh’;εἰς σάρκαsoὥστεthey areεἰσὶνno longerοὐκέτιtwoδύοbutἀλλὰoneμίαflesh.σάρξ
SoοὖνwhatὃGodὁ θεὸςhas joined together,συνέζευξενlet manἄνθρωποςnotμὴseparate.”χωριζέτω
AndΚαὶinεἰςthe houseτὴν οἰκίανthe disciplesοἱ μαθηταὶwere askingἐπηρώτωνhimαὐτόνagainπάλινaboutπερὶthis.τούτου
Andκαὶhe saysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“WhoeverὋς ἂνdivorcesἀπολύσῃhis wifeτὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦandκαὶmarriesγαμήσῃanotherἄλληνcommits adulteryμοιχᾶταιagainstἐπ’her;αὐτήν
andκαὶifἐὰνsheαὐτὴdivorcesἀπολύσασαher husbandτὸν ἄνδρα αὐτῆςand marriesγαμήσῃanother,ἄλλονshe commits adultery.”μοιχᾶται
AndΚαὶthey were bringingπροσέφερονchildrenπαιδίαto him,αὐτῷthatἵναhe might touchἅψηταιthem;αὐτῶνbutδὲthe disciplesοἱ μαθηταὶrebukedἐπετίμησανthem.αὐτοῖς
Butδὲwhen Jesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaw it,ἰδὼνhe was indignantἠγανάκτησενandκαὶsaidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“LetἌφετεthe childrenτὰ παιδίαcomeἔρχεσθαιtoπρόςme;μεdo notμὴhinderκωλύετεthem,αὐτάforγὰρto such as theseτῶν τοιούτωνbelongsἐστὶνthe kingdomἡ βασιλείαof God.τοῦ θεοῦ
TrulyἀμὴνI tellλέγωyou,ὑμῖνwhoeverὃς ἂνdoes notμὴreceiveδέξηταιthe kingdomτὴν βασιλείανof Godτοῦ θεοῦlikeὡςa childπαιδίονwill neverοὐ μὴenterεἰσέλθῃintoεἰςit.”αὐτήν
Andκαὶtaking them in his arms,ἐναγκαλισάμενος αὐτὰhe was blessing them,κατευλόγειlayingτιθεὶςhis handsτὰς χεῖραςonἐπ’them.αὐτά
AndΚαὶas heαὐτοῦwas going outἐκπορευομένουonεἰςthe way,ὁδὸνa manεἷςran upπροσδραμὼνandκαὶknelt beforeγονυπετήσαςhimαὐτὸνand was askingἐπηρώταhim,αὐτόν“GoodἀγαθέTeacher,Διδάσκαλεwhatτίmust I doποιήσωtoἵναinheritκληρονομήσωeternalαἰώνιονlife?”ζωὴν
ButδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“WhyΤίdo you callλέγειςmeμεgood?ἀγαθόνNo oneοὐδεὶςis goodἀγαθὸςexceptεἰ μὴGodὁ θεόςalone.εἷς
You knowοἶδαςthe commandments:τὰς ἐντολὰς‘Do notΜὴmurder,φονεύσῃςdo notΜὴcommit adultery,μοιχεύσῃςdo notΜὴsteal,κλέψῃςdo notΜὴbear false witness,ψευδομαρτυρήσῃςdo notΜὴdefraud,ἀποστερήσῃςhonorΤίμαyour fatherτὸν πατέρα σουandκαὶmother.’”τὴν μητέρα
Andδὲheὁsaidἔφηto him,αὐτῷ“Teacher,Διδάσκαλεallπάνταthese thingsταῦταI have keptἐφυλαξάμηνfromἐκmy youth.”νεότητός μου
AndδὲJesus,ὁ Ἰησοῦςlooking atἐμβλέψαςhim,αὐτῷlovedἠγάπησενhimαὐτὸνandκαὶsaidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“You lackσε ὑστερεῖone thing:Ἕνgo,ὕπαγεsellπώλησονwhateverὅσαyou haveἔχειςandκαὶgiveδὸςto the poor,τοῖς πτωχοῖςandκαὶyou will haveἕξειςtreasureθησαυρὸνinἐνheaven;οὐρανῷandκαὶcome,δεῦροfollowἀκολούθειme.”μοι
Butδὲhe,ὁdismayedστυγνάσαςatἐπὶthe word,τῷ λόγῳwent awayἀπῆλθενgrieving,λυπούμενοςforγὰρhe hadἦν ἔχωνmanyπολλάpossessions.κτήματα
AndΚαὶJesus,ὁ Ἰησοῦςlooking around,περιβλεψάμενοςsaysλέγειto his disciples,τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ“HowΠῶςhard it will beδυσκόλωςfor those whoοἱhaveἔχοντεςwealthτὰ χρήματαto enterεἰσελεύσονταιintoεἰςthe kingdomτὴν βασιλείανof God!”τοῦ θεοῦ
Andδὲthe disciplesοἱ μαθηταὶwere amazedἐθαμβοῦντοatἐπὶhis words.τοῖς λόγοις αὐτοῦButδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςanswersἀποκριθεὶςagainπάλινand saysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“Children,Τέκναhowπῶςhardδύσκολόνit isἐστινto enterεἰσελθεῖνintoεἰςthe kingdomτὴν βασιλείανof God!τοῦ θεοῦ
It isἐστινeasierεὐκοπώτερόνfor a camelκάμηλονto goδιελθεῖνthroughδιὰthe eyeτῆς τρυμαλιᾶςof a needleτῆς ῥαφίδοςthanἢfor a rich manπλούσιονto enterεἰσελθεῖνintoεἰςthe kingdomτὴν βασιλείανof God.”τοῦ θεοῦ
Andδὲtheyοἱwere exceedinglyπερισσῶςastonished,ἐξεπλήσσοντοsayingλέγοντεςtoπρὸςone another,ἑαυτούς“ThenΚαὶwhoτίςcanδύναταιbe saved?”σωθῆναι
Looking atἐμβλέψαςthem,αὐτοῖςJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsays,λέγει“WithΠαρὰpeopleἀνθρώποιςit is impossible,ἀδύνατονbutἀλλ’notοὐwithπαρὰGod;θεῷforγὰρall thingsπάνταare possibleδυνατὰwithπαρὰGod.”τῷ θεῷ
Peterὁ ΠέτροςbeganἬρξατοto sayλέγεινto him,αὐτῷ“Look,Ἰδοὺweἡμεῖςhave leftἀφήκαμενeverythingπάνταandκαὶhave followedἠκολουθήκαμένyou.”σοι
Jesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaid,ἔφη“TrulyἈμὴνI tellλέγωyou,ὑμῖνthere isἐστινno oneοὐδείςwhoὃςhas leftἀφῆκενhouseοἰκίανorἢbrothersἀδελφοὺςorἢsistersἀδελφὰςorἢmotherμητέραorἢfatherπατέραorἢchildrenτέκναorἢfieldsἀγροὺςfor the sake ofἕνεκενmeἐμοῦandκαὶfor the sake ofἕνεκενthe good newsτοῦ εὐαγγελίου
who will notἐὰν μὴreceiveλάβῃa hundred times as muchἑκατονταπλασίοναnowνῦνinἐνthis time,τῷ καιρῷ τούτῳhousesοἰκίαςandκαὶbrothersἀδελφοὺςandκαὶsistersἀδελφὰςandκαὶmothersμητέραςandκαὶchildrenτέκναandκαὶfields,ἀγροὺςwithμετὰpersecutions,διωγμῶνandκαὶinἐνthe ageτῷ αἰῶνιto comeτῷ ἐρχομένῳeternalαἰώνιονlife.ζωὴν
Butδὲmanyπολλοὶwho arefirstπρῶτοιwill beἔσονταιlast,ἔσχατοιandκαὶthe lastοἱ ἔσχατοιfirst.”πρῶτοι
Andδὲthey wereἮσανonἐνthe way,τῇ ὁδῷgoing upἀναβαίνοντεςtoεἰςJerusalem,ἹεροσόλυμαandκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςwasἦνgoing ahead ofπροάγωνthem;αὐτοὺςandκαὶthey were amazed,ἐθαμβοῦντοandδὲthose whoοἱfollowedἀκολουθοῦντεςwere afraid.ἐφοβοῦντοAndκαὶtakingπαραλαβὼνthe Twelveτοὺς δώδεκαaside again,πάλινhe beganἤρξατοto tellλέγεινthemαὐτοῖςthe thingsτὰthat were goingμέλλονταto happenσυμβαίνεινto him:αὐτῷ
“Look,Ἰδοὺwe are going upἀναβαίνομενtoεἰςJerusalem,Ἱεροσόλυμαandκαὶthe Sonὁ υἱὸςof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουwill be handed overπαραδοθήσεταιto the high priestsτοῖς ἀρχιερεῦσινandκαὶthe scribes,τοῖς γραμματεῦσινandκαὶthey will condemnκατακρινοῦσινhimαὐτὸνto deathθανάτῳandκαὶhand him overπαραδώσουσιν αὐτὸνto the nations,τοῖς ἔθνεσιν
andκαὶthey will mockἐμπαίξουσινhimαὐτῷandκαὶspit onἐμπτύσουσινhimαὐτῷandκαὶflogμαστιγώσουσινhimαὐτὸνandκαὶkill him,ἀποκτενοῦσινandκαὶafterμετὰthreeτρεῖςdaysἡμέραςhe will rise.”ἀναστήσεται
AndΚαὶJamesἸάκωβοςandκαὶJohn,Ἰωάννηςthe sonsοἱ υἱοὶof Zebedee,Ζεβεδαίουcome upπροσπορεύονταιto him,αὐτῷsayingλέγοντεςto him,αὐτῷ“Teacher,Διδάσκαλεwe wantθέλομεν ἵναyou to doποιήσῃςfor usἡμῖνwhateverὃ ἐὰνwe askαἰτήσωμένyou.”σε
Butδὲheὁsaidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“WhatΤίdo you wantθέλετεme to doποιήσωfor you?”ὑμῖν
Andδὲtheyοἱsaidεἶπανto him,αὐτῷ“GrantΔὸςusἡμῖνthatἵναwe may sit,καθίσωμενoneεἷςatἐκyourσουrightδεξιῶνandκαὶoneεἷςatἐξyourleft,ἀριστερῶνinἐνyour glory.”τῇ δόξῃ σου
ButδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“You do notΟὐκknowοἴδατεwhatτίyou are asking.αἰτεῖσθεCan youδύνασθεdrinkπιεῖνthe cupτὸ ποτήριονthatὃIἐγὼdrink,πίνωorἢbe immersedβαπτισθῆναιwith the immersionτὸ βάπτισμαwith whichὃIἐγὼam immersed?”βαπτίζομαι
Andδὲtheyοἱsaidεἶπανto him,αὐτῷ“We can.”ΔυνάμεθαAndδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“The cupΤὸ ποτήριονthatὃIἐγὼdrinkπίνωyou will drink,πίεσθεandκαὶwith the immersionτὸ βάπτισμαwith whichὃIἐγὼam immersedβαπτίζομαιyou will be immersed;βαπτισθήσεσθε
butδὲto sitτὸ καθίσαιatἐκmyμουrightδεξιῶνorἢatἐξmyleftεὐωνύμωνis notοὐκ ἔστινmineἐμὸνto grant;δοῦναιrather,ἀλλ’it isfor those for whomοἷςit has been prepared.”ἡτοίμασται
AndΚαὶwhen the tenοἱ δέκαheard it,ἀκούσαντεςthey beganἤρξαντοto be indignantἀγανακτεῖνatπερὶJamesἸακώβουandκαὶJohn.Ἰωάννου
Andκαὶsummoningπροσκαλεσάμενοςthem,αὐτοὺςJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“You knowΟἴδατεthatὅτιthose whoοἱare recognizedδοκοῦντεςas rulersἄρχεινof the nationsτῶν ἐθνῶνlord it overκατακυριεύουσινthem,αὐτῶνandκαὶtheirαὐτῶνgreat onesοἱ μεγάλοιexercise authority overκατεξουσιάζουσινthem.αὐτῶν
Butδέit isἐστινnotοὐχsoοὕτωςamongἐνyou;ὑμῖνrather,ἀλλ’whoeverὃς ἂνwantsθέλῃto becomeγενέσθαιgreatμέγαςamongἐνyouὑμῖνwill beἔσταιyourὑμῶνservant,διάκονος
andκαὶwhoeverὃς ἂνwantsθέλῃto beεἶναιfirstπρῶτοςamongἐνyouὑμῖνwill beἔσταιthe slaveδοῦλοςof all.πάντων
Forγὰρevenκαὶthe Sonὁ υἱὸςof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουdid notοὐκcomeἦλθενto be servedδιακονηθῆναιbutἀλλὰto serve,διακονῆσαιandκαὶto giveδοῦναιhis lifeτὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦas a ransomλύτρονforἀντὶmany.”πολλῶν
AndΚαὶthey comeἔρχονταιtoεἰςJericho.ἸεριχώAndκαὶas heαὐτοῦwas leavingἐκπορευομένουfromἀπὸJerichoἸεριχὼwithκαὶhis disciplesτῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦandκαὶa largeἱκανοῦcrowd,ὄχλουthe sonὁ υἱὸςof Timaeus,ΤιμαίουBartimaeus,Βαρτιμαῖοςa blindτυφλὸςbeggar,προσαίτηςwas sittingἐκάθητοbesideπαρὰthe road.τὴν ὁδόν
Andκαὶhearingἀκούσαςthatὅτιit wasἐστινJesusἸησοῦςthe Nazarene,ὁ Ναζαρηνόςhe beganἤρξατοto cry outκράζεινandκαὶsay,λέγειν“SonΥἱὲof David,ΔαυὶδJesus,Ἰησοῦhave mercy onἐλέησόνme!”με
Andκαὶmanyπολλοὶwere rebukingἐπετίμωνhim,αὐτῷtelling him toἵναbe silent;σιωπήσῃbutδὲheὁcried outἔκραζενall the more,πολλῷ μᾶλλον“SonΥἱὲof David,Δαυίδhave mercy onἐλέησόνme!”με
AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςstoppedστὰςand said,εἶπεν“CallΦωνήσατεhim.”αὐτόνAndκαὶthey callφωνοῦσιthe blind man,τὸν τυφλὸνsayingλέγοντεςto him,αὐτῷ“Take heart;Θάρσειget up,ἔγειρεhe is callingφωνεῖyou.”σε
Andδὲhe,ὁthrowing offἀποβαλὼνhis cloak,τὸ ἱμάτιον αὐτοῦsprang upἀναπηδήσαςand cameἦλθενtoπρὸςJesus.τὸν Ἰησοῦν
Andκαὶansweringἀποκριθεὶςhim,αὐτῷJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaid,εἶπεν“WhatΤίdo you wantθέλειςme to doποιήσωfor you?”σοιAndδὲthe blind manὁ τυφλὸςsaidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“Rabbouni,Ραββουνιlet meἵναsee again.”ἀναβλέψω
AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaidεἶπενto him,αὐτῷ“Go;Ὕπαγεyour faithἡ πίστις σουhas made you well.”σέσωκέν σεAndκαὶat onceεὐθὺςhe regained his sightἀνέβλεψενandκαὶwas followingἠκολούθειhimαὐτῷonἐνthe way.τῇ ὁδῷ
