Andδὲafter agreeingσυμφωνήσαςwithμετὰthe workersτῶν ἐργατῶνforἐκa denariusδηναρίουfor the day,τὴν ἡμέρανhe sentἀπέστειλενthemαὐτοὺςintoεἰςhis vineyard.τὸν ἀμπελῶνα αὐτοῦ
Andκαὶgoing outἐξελθὼνaboutπερὶthe thirdτρίτηνhour,ὥρανhe sawεἶδενothersἄλλουςstandingἑστῶταςinἐνthe marketplaceτῇ ἀγορᾷidle;ἀργούς
andκαὶto themἐκείνοιςhe said,εἶπεν‘YouὑμεῖςalsoκαὶgoὙπάγετεintoεἰςthe vineyard,τὸν ἀμπελῶναandκαὶwhateverὃ ἐὰνisᾖrightδίκαιονI will giveδώσωyou.’ὑμῖν
Andδὲtheyοἱwent.ἀπῆλθονAgainπάλινhe went outἐξελθὼνaboutπερὶthe sixthἕκτηνandκαὶthe ninthἐνάτηνhourὥρανanddidἐποίησενthe same.ὡσαύτως
Andδὲaboutπερὶthe eleventh hourτὴν ἑνδεκάτηνhe went outἐξελθὼνand foundεὗρενothersἄλλουςstanding there,ἑστῶταςandκαὶhe saysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς‘WhyΤίhave you been standingἑστήκατεhereὧδεallὅληνthe dayτὴν ἡμέρανidle?’ἀργοί
They sayλέγουσινto him,αὐτῷ‘BecauseὍτιno oneοὐδεὶςhas hiredἐμισθώσατοus.’ἡμᾶςHe saysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς‘YouὑμεῖςalsoκαὶgoὙπάγετεintoεἰςthe vineyard.’τὸν ἀμπελῶνα
Andδὲwhen eveningὀψίαςcame,γενομένηςthe ownerὁ κύριοςof the vineyardτοῦ ἀμπελῶνοςsaysλέγειto his steward,τῷ ἐπιτρόπῳ αὐτοῦ‘CallΚάλεσονthe workersτοὺς ἐργάταςandκαὶpayἀπόδοςthemαὐτοῖςtheir wages,τὸν μισθὸνbeginningἀρξάμενοςwithἀπὸthe lastτῶν ἐσχάτωνup toἕωςthe first.’τῶν πρώτων
Andκαὶwhen those hiredοἱaboutπερὶthe eleventhτὴν ἑνδεκάτηνhourὥρανcame,ἐλθόντεςthey receivedἔλαβονa denariusδηνάριονeach.ἀνὰ
Andκαὶwhen the firstοἱ πρῶτοιcame,ἐλθόντεςthey thoughtἐνόμισανthatὅτιthey would receiveλήμψονταιmore;πλεῖονandκαὶtheyαὐτοίalsoκαὶreceivedἔλαβονtheτὸdenariusδηνάριονeach.ἀνὰ
Andδὲwhen they received it,λαβόντεςthey were grumblingἐγόγγυζονagainstκατὰthe master of the house,τοῦ οἰκοδεσπότου
saying,λέγοντες‘TheseΟὗτοιlast onesοἱ ἔσχατοιworkedἐποίησανoneμίανhour,ὥρανandκαὶyou have madeἐποίησαςthemαὐτοὺςequalἴσουςto usἡμῖνwhoτοῖςhave borneβαστάσασιthe burdenτὸ βάροςof the dayτῆς ἡμέραςandκαὶthe scorching heat.’τὸν καύσωνα
Butδὲheὁansweredἀποκριθεὶςoneἑνὶof themαὐτῶνandsaid,εἶπεν‘Friend,ἙταῖρεI am notοὐκwrongingἀδικῶyou.σεDid you notοὐχὶagreeσυνεφώνησάςwith meμοιfor a denarius?δηναρίου
Takeἆρονwhat is yoursτὸ σὸνandκαὶgo.ὕπαγεButδὲI wantθέλωto giveδοῦναιto thisτούτῳlast oneτῷ ἐσχάτῳasὡςI gavealsoκαὶto you.σοί
Is it notοὐκlawfulἔξεστίνfor meμοιto doποιῆσαιwhatὃI wantθέλωwithἐνwhat is mine?τοῖς ἐμοῖςOrἢisἐστινyour eyeὁ ὀφθαλμός σουevilπονηρόςbecauseὅτιIἐγὼamεἰμιgood?’ἀγαθός
Soοὕτωςthe lastοἱ ἔσχατοιwill beἔσονταιfirst,πρῶτοιandκαὶthe firstοἱ πρῶτοιlast.”ἔσχατοι
AndΚαὶas Jesusὁ Ἰησοῦςwas going upἀναβαίνωνtoεἰςJerusalem,Ἱεροσόλυμαhe tookπαρέλαβενthe twelveτοὺς δώδεκαdisciplesμαθητὰςaside,κατ’ ἰδίανandκαὶonἐνthe wayτῇ ὁδῷhe saidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς
“Look,Ἰδοὺwe are going upἀναβαίνομενtoεἰςJerusalem,Ἱεροσόλυμαandκαὶthe Sonὁ υἱὸςof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουwill be handed overπαραδοθήσεταιto the high priestsτοῖς ἀρχιερεῦσινandκαὶscribes,γραμματεῦσινandκαὶthey will condemnκατακρινοῦσινhimαὐτὸνto deathθανάτῳ
andκαὶwill handπαραδώσουσινhimαὐτὸνoverπαραδώσουσινto the nationsτοῖς ἔθνεσινtoεἰς τὸmockἐμπαῖξαιandκαὶflogμαστιγῶσαιandκαὶcrucify him,σταυρῶσαιandκαὶon the thirdτῇ τρίτῃdayἡμέρᾳhe will be raised.”ἐγερθήσεται
ThenΤότεthe motherἡ μήτηρof the sonsτῶν υἱῶνof ZebedeeΖεβεδαίουcameπροσῆλθενto himαὐτῷwithμετὰher sons,τῶν υἱῶν αὐτῆςbowing downπροσκυνοῦσαandκαὶaskingαἰτοῦσάsomethingτιofπαρ’him.αὐτοῦ
Andδὲheὁsaidεἶπενto her,αὐτῇ“WhatΤίdo you want?”θέλειςShe saysλέγειto him,αὐτῷ“SayΕἰπὲthatἵναtheseοὗτοιtwoοἱ δύοsonsυἱοίof mineμουmay sit,καθίσωσινoneεἷςatἐκyour rightδεξιῶν σουandκαὶoneεἷςatἐξyour left,εὐωνύμων σουinἐνyour kingdom.”τῇ βασιλείᾳ σου
ButδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςansweredἀποκριθεὶςand said,εἶπεν“You do notΟὐκknowοἴδατεwhatτίyou are asking.αἰτεῖσθεCan youδύνασθεdrinkπιεῖνthe cupτὸ ποτήριονthatὃIἐγὼam goingμέλλωto drink?”πίνεινThey sayλέγουσινto him,αὐτῷ“We can.”Δυνάμεθα
He saysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“My cupΤὸ ποτήριόν μουyou will drink,πίεσθεbutδὲto sitτὸ καθίσαιatἐκmy rightδεξιῶν μουandκαὶatἐξmy leftεὐωνύμωνis notοὐκ ἔστινmineἐμὸνto give,δοῦναιbutἀλλ’it isfor those for whomοἷςit has been preparedἡτοίμασταιbyὑπὸmy Father.”τοῦ πατρός μου
AndΚαὶwhen the tenοἱ δέκαheard it,ἀκούσαντεςthey were indignantἠγανάκτησανatπερὶthe twoτῶν δύοbrothers.ἀδελφῶν
ButδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsummonedπροσκαλεσάμενοςthemαὐτοὺςand said,εἶπεν“You knowΟἴδατεthatὅτιthe rulersοἱ ἄρχοντεςof the nationsτῶν ἐθνῶνlord it overκατακυριεύουσινthem,αὐτῶνandκαὶthe great onesοἱ μεγάλοιexercise authority overκατεξουσιάζουσινthem.αὐτῶν
It will notοὐχbeἔσταιsoοὕτωςamongἐνyou;ὑμῖνbutἀλλ’whoeverὃς ἂνwantsθέλῃto becomeγενέσθαιgreatμέγαςamongἐνyouὑμῖνwill beἔσταιyourὑμῶνservant,διάκονος
andκαὶwhoeverὃς ἂνwantsθέλῃto beεἶναιfirstπρῶτοςamongἐνyouὑμῖνwill beἔσταιyourὑμῶνslave;δοῦλος
just asὥσπερthe Sonὁ υἱὸςof Manτοῦ ἀνθρώπουdid notοὐκcomeἦλθενto be servedδιακονηθῆναιbutἀλλὰto serve,διακονῆσαιandκαὶto giveδοῦναιhis lifeτὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦas a ransomλύτρονforἀντὶmany.”πολλῶν
AndΚαὶas theyαὐτῶνwere going outἐκπορευομένωνfromἀπὸJericho,Ἰεριχὼa largeπολύςcrowdὄχλοςfollowedἠκολούθησενhim.αὐτῷ
Andκαὶlook,ἰδοὺtwoδύοblind menτυφλοὶsittingκαθήμενοιbesideπαρὰthe road,τὴν ὁδόνwhen they heardἀκούσαντεςthatὅτιJesusἸησοῦςwas passing by,παράγειcried out,ἔκραξανsaying,λέγοντες“Lord,Κύριεhave mercy onἐλέησονus,ἡμᾶςSonυἱὸςof David!”Δαυίδ
Butδὲthe crowdὁ ὄχλοςrebukedἐπετίμησενthemαὐτοῖςso thatἵναthey would be silent;σιωπήσωσινbutδὲtheyοἱcried outἔκραξανlouder,μεῖζονsaying,λέγοντες“Lord,Κύριεhave mercy onἐλέησονus,ἡμᾶςSonυἱὸςof David!”Δαυίδ
AndκαὶJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςstopped,στὰςcalledἐφώνησενthem,αὐτοὺςandκαὶsaid,εἶπεν“WhatΤίdo you wantθέλετεme to doποιήσωfor you?”ὑμῖν
They sayλέγουσινto him,αὐτῷ“Lord,Κύριεthatἵναour eyesοἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ἡμῶνmay be opened.”ἀνοιγῶσιν
AndδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςhad compassionσπλαγχνισθεὶςandtouchedἥψατοtheir eyes,τῶν ὀμμάτων αὐτῶνandκαὶat onceεὐθέωςthey regained their sightἀνέβλεψανandκαὶfollowedἠκολούθησανhim.αὐτῷ
