sayingλέγωνto them,αὐτοῖς“GoΠορεύεσθεintoεἰςthe villageτὴν κώμηνthat isτὴνoppositeκατέναντιyou,ὑμῶνandκαὶat onceεὐθέωςyou will findεὑρήσετεa donkeyὄνονtied,δεδεμένηνandκαὶa coltπῶλονwithμετ’her;αὐτῆςuntie themλύσαντεςandbring themἀγάγετέto me.μοι
Andκαὶifἐάνanyoneτιςsaysεἴπῃanythingτιto you,ὑμῖνyou shall say,ἐρεῖτε‘The LordὉ κύριοςneedsχρείαν ἔχειthem,’αὐτῶνandδὲat onceεὐθὺςhe will sendἀποστελεῖthem.”αὐτούς

“SayΕἴπατεto the daughterτῇ θυγατρὶof Zion,Σιών‘Look,Ἰδοὺyour kingὁ βασιλεύς σουis comingἔρχεταίto you,σοιgentleπραῢςandκαὶmountedἐπιβεβηκὼςonἐπὶa donkey,ὄνονandκαὶonἐπὶa colt,πῶλονthe foalυἱὸνof a beast of burden.’”ὑποζυγίου
Andδὲthe disciplesοἱ μαθηταὶwentπορευθέντεςandκαὶdidποιήσαντεςasκαθὼςJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςhad directedσυνέταξενthem;αὐτοῖς
they broughtἤγαγονthe donkeyτὴν ὄνονandκαὶthe coltτὸν πῶλονandκαὶputἐπέθηκανonἐπ’themαὐτῶνtheir cloaks,τὰ ἱμάτιαandκαὶhe satἐπεκάθισενonἐπάνωthem.αὐτῶν
Andδὲmost ofπλεῖστοςthe crowdὁ ὄχλοςspreadἔστρωσανtheirἑαυτῶνcloaksτὰ ἱμάτιαonἐνthe road,τῇ ὁδῷandδὲothersἄλλοιwere cuttingἔκοπτονbranchesκλάδουςfromἀπὸthe treesτῶν δένδρωνandκαὶspreading themἐστρώννυονonἐνthe road.τῇ ὁδῷ
Andδὲthe crowdsοἱ ὄχλοιthatοἱwent ahead ofπροάγοντεςhimαὐτὸνandκαὶthatοἱfollowedἀκολουθοῦντεςwere crying out,ἔκραζονsaying,λέγοντες“HosannaὩσαννὰto the Sonτῷ υἱῷof David!ΔαυίδBlessed isΕὐλογημένοςhe whoὁcomesἐρχόμενοςinἐνthe nameὀνόματιof the Lord!κυρίουHosannaὩσαννὰinἐνthe highest!”τοῖς ὑψίστοις
Andκαὶwhen heαὐτοῦenteredεἰσελθόντοςintoεἰςJerusalem,Ἱεροσόλυμαthe wholeπᾶσαcityἡ πόλιςwas shaken,ἐσείσθηsaying,λέγουσα“WhoΤίςisἐστινthis?”οὗτος
Andδὲthe crowdsοἱ ὄχλοιwere saying,ἔλεγον“ThisΟὗτόςisἐστινthe prophetὁ προφήτηςJesus,Ἰησοῦςthe oneὁfromἀπὸNazarethΝαζαρὲθof Galilee.”τῆς Γαλιλαίας
AndΚαὶJesusἸησοῦςenteredεἰσῆλθενintoεἰςthe templeτὸ ἱερόνandκαὶdrove outἐξέβαλενallπάνταςthose whoτοὺςwere sellingπωλοῦνταςandκαὶbuyingἀγοράζονταςinἐνthe temple,τῷ ἱερῷandκαὶhe overturnedκατέστρεψενthe tablesτὰς τραπέζαςof the money changersτῶν κολλυβιστῶνandκαὶthe seatsτὰς καθέδραςof those whoτῶνsoldπωλούντωνdoves.τὰς περιστεράς
Andκαὶhe saysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“It is written,Γέγραπται‘MyμουhouseὉ οἶκόςwill be calledκληθήσεταιa houseοἶκοςof prayer,’προσευχῆςbutδὲyouὑμεῖςare makingποιεῖτεitαὐτὸνa denσπήλαιονof robbers.”λῃστῶν
AndΚαὶthe blindτυφλοὶandκαὶlameχωλοὶcameπροσῆλθονto himαὐτῷinἐνthe temple,τῷ ἱερῷandκαὶhe healedἐθεράπευσενthem.αὐτούς
Butδὲwhen the high priestsοἱ ἀρχιερεῖςandκαὶthe scribesοἱ γραμματεῖςsawἰδόντεςthe wonderful thingsτὰ θαυμάσιαthatἃhe didἐποίησενandκαὶthe childrenτοὺς παῖδαςwho were crying outτοὺς κράζονταςinἐνthe templeτῷ ἱερῷandκαὶsaying,λέγοντας“HosannaὩσαννὰto the Sonτῷ υἱῷof David,”Δαυίδthey were indignantἠγανάκτησαν
andκαὶsaidεἶπανto him,αὐτῷ“Do you hearἈκούειςwhatτίtheseοὗτοιare saying?”λέγουσινAndδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“Yes;Ναίhave you neverοὐδέποτεread,ἀνέγνωτε‘Out ofἘκthe mouthστόματοςof infantsνηπίωνandκαὶnursing babiesθηλαζόντωνyou have preparedκατηρτίσωpraise’?”αἶνον
Andκαὶleavingκαταλιπὼνthem,αὐτοὺςhe wentἐξῆλθενout ofἔξωthe cityτῆς πόλεωςtoεἰςBethany,Βηθανίανandκαὶspent the nightηὐλίσθηthere.ἐκεῖ
Nowδὲin the morning,Πρωῒas he was returningἐπανάγωνtoεἰςthe city,τὴν πόλινhe was hungry.ἐπείνασεν
Andκαὶseeingἰδὼνa singleμίανfig treeσυκῆνbyἐπὶthe road,τῆς ὁδοῦhe wentἦλθενtoἐπ’itαὐτήνandκαὶfoundεὗρενnothingοὐδὲνonἐνitαὐτῇexceptεἰ μὴleavesφύλλαonly;μόνονandκαὶhe saysλέγειto it,αὐτῇ“May no moreΜηκέτιfruitκαρπὸςcomeγένηταιfromἐκyou,σοῦforever.”εἰς τὸν αἰῶναAndκαὶthe fig treeἡ συκῆwitheredἐξηράνθηimmediately.παραχρῆμα
Andκαὶwhen the disciplesοἱ μαθηταὶsaw it,ἰδόντεςthey were amazed,ἐθαύμασανsaying,λέγοντες“HowΠῶςdid the fig treeἡ συκῆwitherἐξηράνθηimmediately?”παραχρῆμα
AndδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςansweredἀποκριθεὶςand saidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“TrulyἈμὴνI tellλέγωyou,ὑμῖνifἐὰνyou haveἔχητεfaithπίστινandκαὶdo notμὴdoubt,διακριθῆτεyou will notοὐonlyμόνονdoποιήσετεwhat was doneτὸto the fig tree,τῆς συκῆςbutἀλλὰeven ifκἂνyou sayεἴπητεto thisτῷ τούτῳmountain,ὄρει‘Be lifted upἌρθητιandκαὶthrownβλήθητιintoεἰςthe sea,’τὴν θάλασσανit will happen.γενήσεται
Andκαὶeverythingπάνταthatὅσα ἂνyou ask forαἰτήσητεinἐνprayer,τῇ προσευχῇbelieving,πιστεύοντεςyou will receive.”λήμψεσθε
AndΚαὶwhen heαὐτοῦhad comeἐλθόντοςintoεἰςthe temple,τὸ ἱερὸνthe high priestsοἱ ἀρχιερεῖςandκαὶthe eldersοἱ πρεσβύτεροιof the peopleτοῦ λαοῦcameπροσῆλθονto himαὐτῷas he was teaching,διδάσκοντιsaying,λέγοντες“ByἘνwhatποίᾳauthorityἐξουσίᾳare you doingποιεῖςthese things?ταῦταAndκαὶwhoτίςgaveἔδωκενyouσοιthisταύτηνauthority?”τὴν ἐξουσίαν
AndδὲJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςansweredἀποκριθεὶςand saidεἶπενto them,αὐτοῖς“I alsoκἀγὼwill askἘρωτήσωyouὑμᾶςoneἕναthing,λόγονwhich,ὃνifἐὰνyou tellεἴπητέme,μοιI alsoκἀγὼwill tellἐρῶyouὑμῖνbyἐνwhatποίᾳauthorityἐξουσίᾳI doποιῶthese things.ταῦτα
The immersionτὸ βάπτισμαof John,τὸ Ἰωάννουwhereπόθενwas itἦνfrom?πόθενFromἐξheavenοὐρανοῦorἢfromἐξpeople?”ἀνθρώπωνAndδὲtheyοἱwere discussingδιελογίζοντοamongἐνthemselves,ἑαυτοῖςsaying,λέγοντες“IfἘὰνwe say,εἴπωμεν‘FromἘξheaven,’οὐρανοῦhe will sayἐρεῖto us,ἡμῖν‘WhyΔιὰ τίthenοὖνdid you notοὐκbelieveἐπιστεύσατεhim?’αὐτῷ
Butδὲifἐὰνwe say,εἴπωμεν‘FromἘξpeople,’ἀνθρώπωνwe fearφοβούμεθαthe crowd;τὸν ὄχλονforγὰρallπάντεςholdἔχουσινJohnτὸν Ἰωάννηνasὡςa prophet.”προφήτην
Andκαὶthey answeredἀποκριθέντεςJesusτῷ Ἰησοῦand said,εἶπαν“We do notΟὐκknow.”οἴδαμενAndκαὶheαὐτόςsaidἔφηto them,αὐτοῖς“NeitherΟὐδὲdo IἐγὼtellλέγωyouὑμῖνbyἐνwhatποίᾳauthorityἐξουσίᾳI doποιῶthese things.ταῦτα
ButδὲwhatΤίdo youὑμῖνthink?δοκεῖA manἄνθρωποςhadεἶχενtwoδύοchildren.τέκναHecameπροσελθὼνto the firstτῷ πρώτῳand said,εἶπεν‘Child,Τέκνονgo,ὕπαγεworkἐργάζουtodayσήμερονinἐνthe vineyard.’τῷ ἀμπελῶνι
Andδὲheὁansweredἀποκριθεὶςand said,εἶπεν‘I do notΟὐwant to.’θέλωButδὲlaterὕστερονhe regretted itμεταμεληθεὶςandwent.ἀπῆλθεν
Andδὲhe cameπροσελθὼνto the secondτῷ δευτέρῳandsaidεἶπενthe same.ὡσαύτωςAndδὲheὁansweredἀποκριθεὶςand said,εἶπεν‘I will,Ἐγώsir,’κύριεandκαὶdid notοὐκgo.ἀπῆλθεν
Whichτίςofἐκthe twoτῶν δύοdidἐποίησενthe willτὸ θέλημαof his father?”τοῦ πατρόςThey say,λέγουσιν“The first.”Ὁ πρῶτοςJesusὁ Ἰησοῦςsaysλέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“TrulyἈμὴνI tellλέγωyouὑμῖνthatὅτιthe tax collectorsοἱ τελῶναιandκαὶthe prostitutesαἱ πόρναιare going ahead ofπροάγουσινyouὑμᾶςintoεἰςthe kingdomτὴν βασιλείανof God.τοῦ θεοῦ
ForγὰρJohnἸωάννηςcameἦλθενtoπρὸςyouὑμᾶςinἐνthe wayὁδῷof righteousness,δικαιοσύνηςandκαὶyou did notοὐκbelieveἐπιστεύσατεhim;αὐτῷbutδὲthe tax collectorsοἱ τελῶναιandκαὶthe prostitutesαἱ πόρναιbelievedἐπίστευσανhim;αὐτῷandδὲyou,ὑμεῖςeven when you saw it,ἰδόντεςdid not evenοὐδὲregret itμετεμελήθητεafterwardὕστερονso asτοῦto believeπιστεῦσαιhim.αὐτῷ
HearἀκούσατεanotherἌλληνparable.παραβολὴνThere wasἦνa man,Ἄνθρωποςa master of a house,οἰκοδεσπότηςwhoὅστιςplantedἐφύτευσενa vineyardἀμπελῶναandκαὶput a fenceφραγμὸνaroundπεριέθηκενitαὐτῷandκαὶdugὤρυξενa winepressληνὸνinἐνitαὐτῷandκαὶbuiltᾠκοδόμησενa tower,πύργονandκαὶleasedἐξέδετοitαὐτὸνto tenant farmersγεωργοῖςandκαὶwent away on a journey.ἀπεδήμησεν
Andδὲwhenὅτεthe seasonὁ καιρὸςof fruitτῶν καρπῶνdrew near,ἤγγισενhe sentἀπέστειλενhis slavesτοὺς δούλους αὐτοῦtoπρὸςthe tenant farmersτοὺς γεωργοὺςto receiveλαβεῖνhis fruit.τοὺς καρποὺς αὐτοῦ
Andκαὶthe tenant farmersοἱ γεωργοὶtookλαβόντεςhis slavesτοὺς δούλους αὐτοῦandoneὃν μὲνthey beat,ἔδειρανanotherὃν δὲthey killed,ἀπέκτεινανanotherὃν δὲthey stoned.ἐλιθοβόλησαν
Againπάλινhe sentἀπέστειλενotherἄλλουςslaves,δούλουςmoreπλείοναςthanτῶνthe first,πρώτωνandκαὶthey didἐποίησανto themαὐτοῖςthe same.ὡσαύτως
Andδὲfinallyὕστερονhe sentἀπέστειλενtoπρὸςthemαὐτοὺςhis son,τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦsaying,λέγων‘They will respectἘντραπήσονταιmy son.’τὸν υἱόν μου
Butδὲthe tenant farmers,οἱ γεωργοὶseeingἰδόντεςthe son,τὸν υἱὸνsaidεἶπονamongἐνthemselves,ἑαυτοῖς‘ThisΟὗτόςisἐστινthe heir;ὁ κληρονόμοςcome,δεῦτεlet us killἀποκτείνωμενhimαὐτὸνandκαὶhaveσχῶμενhis inheritance.’τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ
Andκαὶthey tookλαβόντεςhimαὐτὸνandthrew him outἐξέβαλονofἔξωthe vineyardτοῦ ἀμπελῶνοςandκαὶkilled him.ἀπέκτειναν
Soοὖνwhenὅτανthe ownerὁ κύριοςof the vineyardτοῦ ἀμπελῶνοςcomes,ἔλθῃwhatτίwill he doποιήσειto thoseτοῖς ἐκείνοιςtenant farmers?”γεωργοῖς
They sayλέγουσινto him,αὐτῷ“He will destroyἀπολέσειthoseαὐτούςwretchesΚακοὺςwretchedly,κακῶςandκαὶleaseἐκδώσεταιthe vineyardτὸν ἀμπελῶναto otherἄλλοιςtenant farmersγεωργοῖςwhoοἵτινεςwill giveἀποδώσουσινhimαὐτῷthe fruitsτοὺς καρποὺςinἐνtheir seasons.”τοῖς καιροῖς αὐτῶν
Jesusὁ ἸησοῦςsaysΛέγειto them,αὐτοῖς“Have you neverΟὐδέποτεreadἀνέγνωτεinἐνthe Scriptures,ταῖς γραφαῖς‘The stoneΛίθονthatὃνthe buildersοἱ οἰκοδομοῦντεςrejected,ἀπεδοκίμασανthisοὗτοςhas becomeἐγενήθη εἰςthe headκεφαλὴνof the corner;γωνίαςthisαὕτηcame aboutἐγένετοfromπαρὰthe Lord,κυρίουandκαὶit isἔστινmarvelousθαυμαστὴinἐνour eyes’?ὀφθαλμοῖς ἡμῶν
Thereforeδιὰ τοῦτοI tellλέγωyouὑμῖνthatὅτιthe kingdomἡ βασιλείαof Godτοῦ θεοῦwill be taken awayἀρθήσεταιfromἀφ’youὑμῶνandκαὶgivenδοθήσεταιto a nationἔθνειproducingποιοῦντιits fruits.τοὺς καρποὺς αὐτῆς
AndΚαὶthe one whoὁfallsπεσὼνonἐπὶthisτοῦτονstoneτὸν λίθονwill be broken to pieces;συνθλασθήσεταιandδ’onἐφ’whomeverὃν ἂνit falls,πέσῃit will crushλικμήσειhim.”αὐτόν
AndΚαὶwhen the high priestsοἱ ἀρχιερεῖςandκαὶthe Phariseesοἱ Φαρισαῖοιheardἀκούσαντεςhis parables,τὰς παραβολὰς αὐτοῦthey knewἔγνωσανthatὅτιhe was speakingλέγειaboutπερὶthem.αὐτῶν
Andκαὶalthough they were seekingζητοῦντεςto seizeκρατῆσαιhim,αὐτὸνthey fearedἐφοβήθησανthe crowds,τοὺς ὄχλουςbecauseἐπεὶthey heldεἶχονhimαὐτὸνto beεἰςa prophet.προφήτην
