completeπληρώσατέmyμουjoyτὴν χαρὰνso thatἵναyou thinkφρονῆτεthe same thing,τὸ αὐτὸhavingἔχοντεςthe sameτὴν αὐτὴνlove,ἀγάπηνunited in soul,σύμψυχοιthinkingφρονοῦντεςthe one thing.τὸ ἓν
Do nothingμηδὲνfromκατ’selfish ambitionἐριθείανorμηδὲfromκατὰempty conceit,κενοδοξίανbutἀλλὰin humilityτῇ ταπεινοφροσύνῃregardἡγούμενοιone anotherἀλλήλουςas surpassingὑπερέχονταςyourselves,ἑαυτῶν
eachἕκαστοιnotμὴlooking out forσκοποῦντεςtheir own interestsτὰ ἑαυτῶνbutἀλλὰeachἕκαστοιalsoκαὶfor the interestsτὰof others.ἑτέρων
Thinkφρονεῖτεthis wayτοῦτοamongἐνyourselves,ὑμῖνwhich wasὃalsoκαὶinἐνthe MessiahΧριστῷJesus,Ἰησοῦ
who,ὃςbeingὑπάρχωνinἐνthe formμορφῇof God,θεοῦdid notοὐχconsiderἡγήσατοbeingτὸ εἶναιequalἴσαto Godθεῷsomething to be seized,ἁρπαγμὸν
butἀλλὰemptiedἐκένωσενhimself,ἑαυτὸνtakingλαβώνthe formμορφὴνof a slave,δούλουcoming to beγενόμενοςinἐνthe likenessὁμοιώματιof human beings;ἀνθρώπωνandκαὶbeing foundεὑρεθεὶςin appearanceσχήματιasὡςa human being,ἄνθρωπος
he humbledἐταπείνωσενhimself,ἑαυτὸνbecomingγενόμενοςobedientὑπήκοοςto the point ofμέχριdeath,θανάτουevenδὲdeathθανάτουon a cross.σταυροῦ
ThereforeδιὸGodὁ θεὸςalsoκαὶhighly exaltedὑπερύψωσενhimαὐτὸνandκαὶgrantedἐχαρίσατοhimαὐτῷthe nameτὸ ὄνομαthat isτὸaboveὑπὲρeveryπᾶνname,ὄνομα
so thatἵναatἐνthe nameτῷ ὀνόματιof JesusἸησοῦeveryπᾶνkneeγόνυshould bow,κάμψῃof those in heavenἐπουρανίωνandκαὶon earthἐπιγείωνandκαὶunder the earth,καταχθονίων
andκαὶeveryπᾶσαtongueγλῶσσαconfessἐξομολογήσηταιthatὅτιJesusἸησοῦςthe MessiahΧριστὸςis Lord,κύριοςtoεἰςthe gloryδόξανof Godθεοῦthe Father.πατρός
So then,Ὥστεmy beloved,ἀγαπητοί μουjust asκαθὼςyou have alwaysπάντοτεobeyed,ὑπηκούσατεnotμὴasὡςinἐνmy presenceτῇ παρουσίᾳ μουonly,μόνονbutἀλλὰnowνῦνmuchπολλῷmoreμᾶλλονinἐνmy absence,τῇ ἀπουσίᾳ μουwork outκατεργάζεσθεyour ownτὴν ἑαυτῶνsalvationσωτηρίανwithμετὰfearφόβουandκαὶtrembling;τρόμου
forγάρit isἐστινGodθεὸςwho worksὁ ἐνεργῶνinἐνyouὑμῖνbothκαὶto willτὸ θέλεινandκαὶto workτὸ ἐνεργεῖνfor the sake ofὑπὲρhis good pleasure.τῆς εὐδοκίας
Doποιεῖτεall thingsΠάνταwithoutχωρὶςgrumblingγογγυσμῶνandκαὶarguing,διαλογισμῶν
so thatἵναyou may becomeγένησθεblamelessἄμεμπτοιandκαὶinnocent,ἀκέραιοιchildrenτέκναof Godθεοῦwithout blemishἄμωμαin the midst ofμέσονa crookedσκολιᾶςandκαὶperverseδιεστραμμένηςgeneration,γενεᾶςamongἐνwhomοἷςyou shineφαίνεσθεasὡςlightsφωστῆρεςinἐνthe world,κόσμῳ
holding forthἐπέχοντεςthe wordλόγονof life,ζωῆςforεἰςa boastκαύχημαto meἐμοὶonεἰςthe dayἡμέρανof the Messiah,ΧριστοῦthatὅτιI did notοὐκrunἔδραμονinεἰςvainκενὸνnorοὐδὲlaborἐκοπίασαinεἰςvain.κενὸν
ButἀλλὰevenκαὶifεἰI am being poured out as a libationσπένδομαιonἐπὶthe sacrificeτῇ θυσίᾳandκαὶsacred serviceλειτουργίᾳof yourὑμῶνfaith,τῆς πίστεωςI rejoiceχαίρωandκαὶrejoice withσυγχαίρωallπᾶσινof you;ὑμῖν
andδὲin the same wayτὸ αὐτὸyouὑμεῖςalsoκαὶrejoiceχαίρετεandκαὶrejoice withσυγχαίρετέme.μοι
NowδὲI hopeἘλπίζωinἐνthe LordκυρίῳJesusἸησοῦto sendπέμψαιTimothyΤιμόθεονto youὑμῖνsoon,ταχέωςso thatἵναI tooκἀγὼmay be encouragedεὐψυχῶlearningγνοὺςthe thingsτὰaboutπερὶyou.ὑμῶν
ForγὰρI haveἔχωno oneοὐδέναlike-mindedἰσόψυχονwhoὅστιςgenuinelyγνησίωςwill care forμεριμνήσειthe thingsτὰconcerningπερὶyou.ὑμῶν
Forγὰρthey allοἱ πάντεςseekζητοῦσινtheir own interests,τὰ ἑαυτῶνnotοὐthoseτὰof JesusἸησοῦthe Messiah.Χριστοῦ
Butδὲyou knowγινώσκετεhisαὐτοῦproven character,τὴν δοκιμὴνthatὅτιasὡςa childτέκνονwith a father,πατρὶhe served as a slaveἐδούλευσενwithσὺνmeἐμοὶforεἰςthe good news.τὸ εὐαγγέλιον
HimτοῦτονthereforeοὖνI hopeἐλπίζωto sendπέμψαιimmediately,ἐξαυτῆςas soon asὡς ἂνI seeἀφίδωthe thingsτὰconcerningπερὶme;ἐμὲ
butδὲI am confidentπέποιθαinἐνthe LordκυρίῳthatὅτιI myselfαὐτὸςwill alsoκαὶcomeἐλεύσομαιsoon.ταχέως
ButδὲI considered itἡγησάμηνnecessaryἈναγκαῖονto sendπέμψαιtoπρὸςyouὑμᾶςEpaphroditus,Ἐπαφρόδιτονmyμουbrotherτὸν ἀδελφὸνandκαὶfellow workerσυνεργὸνandκαὶfellow soldier,συστρατιώτηνandδὲyourὑμῶνenvoyἀπόστολονandκαὶministerλειτουργὸνto my need,τῆς χρείας μου
sinceἐπειδὴhe was longing forἐπιποθῶν ἦνallπάνταςof youὑμᾶςandκαὶwas distressedἀδημονῶνbecauseδιότιyou heardἠκούσατεthatὅτιhe was sick.ἠσθένησεν
Forγὰρindeedκαὶhe was sick,ἠσθένησενcloseπαραπλήσιονto death;θανάτῳbutἀλλὰGodὁ θεὸςhad mercy onἠλέησενhim,αὐτόνandδὲnotοὐκon himαὐτὸνonlyμόνονbutἀλλὰalsoκαὶon me,ἐμέso thatἵναI would notμὴhaveσχῶsorrowλύπηνuponἐπὶsorrow.λύπην
SoοὖνI am sendingἔπεμψαhimαὐτὸνall the more eagerly,σπουδαιοτέρωςso that,ἵναseeingἰδόντεςhimαὐτὸνagain,πάλινyou may rejoiceχαρῆτεand Iκἀγὼmay beὦless sorrowful.ἀλυπότερος
Soοὖνwelcomeπροσδέχεσθεhimαὐτὸνinἐνthe Lordκυρίῳwithμετὰallπάσηςjoy,χαρᾶςandκαὶholdἔχετεsuch peopleτοὺς τοιούτουςin honor,ἐντίμους
becauseὅτιforδιὰthe workτὸ ἔργονof the MessiahΧριστοῦhe came closeἤγγισενtoμέχριdeath,θανάτουriskingπαραβολευσάμενοςhis lifeτῇ ψυχῇtoἵναmake upἀναπληρώσῃwhat was lackingτὸ ὑστέρημαin yourὑμῶνserviceτῆς λειτουργίαςtoπρόςme.με
