YHWHיְהוָהwill notלֹאletיַרְעִיבthe soulנֶפֶשׁof the righteousצַדִּיקgo hungry,יַרְעִיבbutוְthe cravingהַוַּתof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםhe pushes away.יֶהְדֹּף
A slackרְמִיָּהpalmכַףmakesעֹשֶׂהpoor,רָאשׁbutוְthe handיַדof the diligentחָרוּצִיםmakes rich.תַּעֲשִׁיר
He who gathersאֹגֵרin the summerבַּקַּיִץis a prudentמַשְׂכִּילson;בֵּןhe who sleepsנִרְדָּםin the harvestבַּקָּצִירis a sonבֵּןwho brings shame.מֵבִישׁ
Blessingsבְּרָכוֹתare on the headלְרֹאשׁof the righteous,צַדִּיקbutוּthe mouthפִיof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםconcealsיְכַסֶּהviolence.חָמָס
The memoryזֵכֶרof the righteousצַדִּיקis for a blessing,לִבְרָכָהbutוְthe nameשֵׁםof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםwill rot.יִרְקָב
The wiseחֲכַםof heartלֵבreceivesיִקַּחcommandments,מִצְוֺתbutוֶthe foolאֱוִילof lipsשְׂפָתַיִםwill be thrown down.יִלָּבֵט
He who walksהוֹלֵךְin integrityבַּתֹּםwalksיֵלֶךְsecurely,בֶּטַחbutוּhe who makes crookedמְעַקֵּשׁhis waysדְּרָכָיוwill be found out.יִוָּדֵעַ
He who winksקֹרֵץthe eyeעַיִןcausesיִתֵּןpain,עַצָּבֶתandוֶthe foolאֱוִילof lipsשְׂפָתַיִםwill be thrown down.יִלָּבֵט
A fountainמְקוֹרof lifeחַיִּיםis the mouthפִּיof the righteous,צַדִּיקbutוּthe mouthפִיof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםconcealsיְכַסֶּהviolence.חָמָס
Hatredשִׂנְאָהstirs upתְּעוֹרֵרquarrels,מְדָנִיםbutוְallכָּלtransgressionsפְּשָׁעִיםloveאַהֲבָהcovers.עַל תְּכַסֶּה
On the lipsבְּשִׂפְתֵיof the discerning oneנָבוֹןwisdomחָכְמָהis found,תִּמָּצֵאbutוְthe rodשֵׁבֶטis for the backלְגֵוof him who lacksחֲסַרsense.לֵב
The wiseחֲכָמִיםstore upיִצְפְּנוּknowledge,דָעַתbutוּthe mouthפִיof the foolאֱוִילis ruinמְחִתָּהclose at hand.קְרֹבָה
The wealthהוֹןof the rich manעָשִׁירis his strongעֻזּוֹcity;קִרְיַתthe ruinמְחִתַּתof the poorדַּלִּיםis their poverty.רֵישָׁם
The wagesפְּעֻלַּתof the righteousצַדִּיקlead to life;לְחַיִּיםthe yieldתְּבוּאַתof the wicked,רָשָׁעto sin.לְחַטָּאת
He who keepsשׁוֹמֵרcorrectionמוּסָרis a pathאֹרַחto life,לְחַיִּיםbutוְhe who abandonsעוֹזֵבreproofתּוֹכַחַתleads astray.מַתְעֶה
He who concealsמְכַסֶּהhatredשִׂנְאָהhas lipsשִׂפְתֵיof falsehood,שָׁקֶרandוּhe who spreadsמוֹצִאslanderדִבָּהisהוּאsenseless.כְסִיל
In a multitudeבְּרֹבof wordsדְּבָרִיםtransgressionפָּשַׁעis notלֹאlacking,יֶחְדַּלbutוְhe who restrainsחֹשֵׂךְhis lipsשְׂפָתָיוis prudent.מַשְׂכִּיל
Choiceנִבְחָרsilverכֶּסֶףis the tongueלְשׁוֹןof the righteous;צַדִּיקthe heartלֵבof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםis worth little.כִּמְעָט
The lipsשִׂפְתֵיof the righteousצַדִּיקfeedיִרְעוּmany,רַבִּיםbutוֶfoolsאֱוִילִיםdieיָמוּתוּfor lackבַּחֲסַרof sense.לֵב
The blessingבִּרְכַּתof YHWH,יְהוָהitהִיאmakes rich,תַעֲשִׁירandוְit does notלֹאaddיוֹסִףwearinessעֶצֶבwith it.עִמָּהּ
Like sportכִּשְׂחוֹקto the senseless oneלִכְסִילis doingעֲשׂוֹתinfamy,זִמָּהandוְwisdomחָכְמָהto a manלְאִישׁof insight.תְּבוּנָה
What the wickedרָשָׁעdreads,מְגוֹרַתthatהִיאwill come upon him,תְבוֹאֶנּוּbutוְthe desireתַאֲוַתof the righteousצַדִּיקִיםwill be granted.יִתֵּן
When the whirlwindכַּ סוּפָהpasses,עֲבוֹרthe wicked oneרָשָׁעis no more,וְאֵיןbutוְthe righteous oneצַדִּיקis a foundationיְסוֹדforever.עוֹלָם
Like vinegarכַּחֹמֶץto the teeth,לַשִּׁנַּיִםandוְlike smokeכֶעָשָׁןto the eyes,לָעֵינָיִםso isכֵּןthe sluggardהֶעָצֵלto those who send him.לְשֹׁלְחָיו
The fearיִרְאַתof YHWHיְהוָהaddsתּוֹסִיףdays,יָמִיםbutוּthe yearsשְׁנוֹתof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםwill be cut short.תִּקְצֹרְנָה
The expectationתּוֹחֶלֶתof the righteousצַדִּיקִיםis joy,שִׂמְחָהbutוְthe hopeתִקְוַתof the wickedרְשָׁעִיםwill perish.תֹּאבֵד
A strongholdמָעוֹזfor integrityלַתֹּםis the wayדֶּרֶךְof YHWH,יְהוָהbutוּruinמְחִתָּהfor those who doלְפֹעֲלֵיwickedness.אָוֶן
The righteous oneצַדִּיקwill neverלְעוֹלָם בַּלbe moved,יִמּוֹטbutוּthe wickedרְשָׁעִיםwill notלֹאdwell inיִשְׁכְּנוּthe land.אָרֶץ
The mouthפִּיof the righteousצַדִּיקbrings forthיָנוּבwisdom,חָכְמָהbutוּthe tongueלְשׁוֹןof perversitiesתַּהְפֻּכוֹתwill be cut off.תִּכָּרֵת
The lipsשִׂפְתֵיof the righteousצַדִּיקknowיֵדְעוּןwhat is pleasing,רָצוֹןbutוּthe mouthפִיof the wicked,רְשָׁעִיםperversities.תַּהְפֻּכוֹת
