On that dayבַּיּוֹם הַהוּאthere will beיִהְיֶהa fountainמָקוֹרopenedנִפְתָּחfor the houseלְבֵיתof Davidדָּוִידand for the inhabitantsוּלְיֹשְׁבֵיof Jerusalem,יְרוּשָׁלִָםfor sinלְחַטַּאתand for impurity.וּלְנִדָּה
And it will happenוְהָיָהon that day,בַיּוֹם הַהוּאdeclaresנְאֻםYHWHיְהוָהTsevaot,צְבָאוֹתthat I will cut offאַכְרִיתthe namesשְׁמוֹתof the idolsהָעֲצַבִּיםfromמִןthe land,הָאָרֶץand they will notוְלֹאbe rememberedיִזָּכְרוּany more;עוֹדand alsoוְגַםthe prophetsהַנְּבִיאִיםandוְthe spiritרוּחַof impurityהַטֻּמְאָהI will removeאַעֲבִירfromמִןthe land.הָאָרֶץ
And it will happenוְהָיָהthat ifכִּיanyoneאִישׁprophesiesיִנָּבֵאagain,עוֹדhis fatherאָבִיוand his motherוְאִמּוֹwho begot himיֹלְדָיוwill sayוְאָמְרוּto him,אֵלָיו‘You shall notלֹאlive,תִחְיֶהforכִּיyou have spokenדִּבַּרְתָּa lieשֶׁקֶרin the nameבְּשֵׁםof YHWH’;יְהוָהand his fatherאָבִיהוּand his motherוְאִמּוֹwho begot himיֹלְדָיוwill pierce himוּדְקָרֻהוּwhen he prophesies.בְּהִנָּבְאוֹ
And it will happenוְהָיָהon that dayבַּיּוֹם הַהוּאthat the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִיםwill be ashamed,יֵבֹשׁוּeachאִישׁof his visionמֵחֶזְיֹנוֹwhen he prophesies;בְּהִנָּבְאֹתוֹand they will notוְלֹאput onיִלְבְּשׁוּa mantleאַדֶּרֶתof hairשֵׂעָרin order toלְמַעַןlie.כַּחֵשׁ
And he will say,וְאָמַר‘Iאָנֹכִיam notלֹאa prophet;נָבִיאIאָנֹכִיam a manאִישׁwho worksעֹבֵדthe ground,אֲדָמָהforכִּיa manאָדָםacquired meהִקְנַנִיfrom my youth.’מִנְּעוּרָי
And one will sayוְאָמַרto him,אֵלָיו‘Whatמָהare theseהָאֵלֶּהblowsהַמַּכּוֹתbetweenבֵּיןyour hands?’יָדֶיךָAnd he will say,וְאָמַר‘Those with whichאֲשֶׁרI was struckהֻכֵּיתִיin the houseבֵּיתof my lovers.’מְאַהֲבָי
Sword,חֶרֶבawakeעוּרִיagainstעַלmy shepherd,רֹעִיand againstוְעַלthe manגֶּבֶרwho is my neighbor,עֲמִיתִיdeclaresנְאֻםYHWHיְהוָהTsevaot.צְבָאוֹתStrikeהַךְthe shepherd,הָרֹעֶהand the sheepהַצֹּאןwill be scattered;וּתְפוּצֶיןָand I will turnוַהֲשִׁבֹתִיmy handיָדִיagainstעַלthe little ones.הַצֹּעֲרִים
And it will happenוְהָיָהin allבְכָלthe land,הָאָרֶץdeclaresנְאֻםYHWH,יְהוָהthat twoשְׁנַיִםpartsפִּיin itבָּהּwill be cut offיִכָּרְתוּand expire,יִגְוָעוּand the thirdוְהַשְּׁלִשִׁיתwill be leftיִוָּתֶרin it.בָּהּ
And I will bringוְהֵבֵאתִיthe thirdהַשְּׁלִשִׁיתinto the fire,בָּאֵשׁand refine themוּצְרַפְתִּיםas one refinesכִּצְרֹףsilver,הַכֶּסֶףand test themוּבְחַנְתִּיםas one testsכִּבְחֹןgold.הַזָּהָבHeהוּאwill callיִקְרָאon my name,בִשְׁמִיand Iוַאֲנִיwill answerאֶעֱנֶהhim;אֹתוֹI will say,אָמַרְתִּי‘Heהוּאis my people’;עַמִּיand heוְהוּאwill say,יֹאמַר‘YHWHיְהוָהis my Elohim.’”אֱלֹהָי
