Andδὲevenκαὶifεἰour good newsτὸ εὐαγγέλιον ἡμῶνisἔστινveiled,κεκαλυμμένονit isἐστὶνveiledκεκαλυμμένονamongἐνthose who are perishing,τοῖς ἀπολλυμένοις
among whomἐν οἷςthe godὁ θεὸςof thisτούτουageτοῦ αἰῶνοςhas blindedἐτύφλωσενthe mindsτὰ νοήματαof the unbelievers,τῶν ἀπίστωνso thatεἰς τὸthey would notμὴseeαὐγάσαιthe lightτὸν φωτισμὸνof the good newsτοῦ εὐαγγελίουof the gloryτῆς δόξηςof the Messiah,τοῦ Χριστοῦwhoὅςisἐστινthe imageεἰκὼνof God.τοῦ θεοῦ

We areafflictedθλιβόμενοιinἐνevery way,παντὶbutἀλλ’notοὐcrushed;στενοχωρούμενοιperplexed,ἀπορούμενοιbutἀλλ’notοὐκin despair;ἐξαπορούμενοι
persecuted,διωκόμενοιbutἀλλ’notοὐκabandoned;ἐγκαταλειπόμενοιstruck down,καταβαλλόμενοιbutἀλλ’notοὐκdestroyed;ἀπολλύμενοι
alwaysπάντοτεcarrying aroundπεριφέροντεςinἐνthe bodyτῷ σώματιthe dyingτὴν νέκρωσινof Jesus,τοῦ Ἰησοῦso thatἵναthe lifeἡ ζωὴof Jesusτοῦ Ἰησοῦmay alsoκαὶbe made manifestφανερωθῇinἐνour body.τῷ σώματι ἡμῶν

Soὥστεdeathὁ θάνατοςis at workἐνεργεῖταιinἐνus,ἡμῖνbutδὲlifeἡ ζωὴinἐνyou.ὑμῖν
AndδὲhavingἜχοντεςthe sameτὸ αὐτὸspiritπνεῦμαof faith,τῆς πίστεωςaccording toκατὰwhat is written,τὸ γεγραμμένον“I believed,ἘπίστευσαthereforeδιὸI spoke,”ἐλάλησαweἡμεῖςalsoκαὶbelieve,πιστεύομενthereforeδιὸwe also speak,καὶ λαλοῦμεν
knowingεἰδότεςthatὅτιthe one who raisedὁ ἐγείραςJesusτὸν Ἰησοῦνwill raiseἐγερεῖusἡμᾶςalsoκαὶwithσὺνJesusἸησοῦandκαὶwill present usπαραστήσειwithσὺνyou.ὑμῖν
Forγὰρall thingsτὰ πάνταarefor your sake,δι’ ὑμᾶςso thatἵναgrace,ἡ χάριςincreasingπλεονάσασαthroughδιὰmore and moreτῶν πλειόνωνpeople,may cause thanksgivingτὴν εὐχαριστίανto overflowπερισσεύσῃtoεἰςthe gloryτὴν δόξανof God.τοῦ θεοῦ
ThereforeΔιὸwe do notοὐκlose heart;ἐγκακοῦμενbutἀλλ’evenκαὶifεἰour outerὁ ἔξω ἡμῶνpersonἄνθρωποςis wasting away,διαφθείρεταιyetἀλλ’our inner personὁ ἔσω ἡμῶνis being renewedἀνακαινοῦταιdayἡμέρᾳbyκαὶday.ἡμέρᾳ
