YHWH
The personal name of the God of Israel, written in Hebrew with four letters, Y-H-W-H, without vowels. Out of reverence Jews stopped pronouncing it and read "Adonai" (Lord), so many Bibles put "the LORD" or "Jehovah". This translation keeps the four letters. The name is related to the verb "to be" (Exodus 3:14-15). He is not a god other than Elohim: "YHWH Elohim" is the same Creator God, called by his name.

Ekron
Today: Tel Miqne (Ekron) ruins, Israel
A Philistine city on the plain, about 22 miles (35 km) west of Jerusalem.
The ark was taken there and the people were afraid (1 Sam 5:10). King Ahaziah sent to ask its god instead of the God of Israel (2 Kgs 1:2).
The context
15The angel of YHWH spoke to Elijah, “Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” He got up and went down with him to the king.
