Forכִּיlook,הִנֵּהin those daysבַּיָּמִים הָהֵמָּהand at that time,וּבָעֵת הַהִיאwhenאֲשֶׁרI turn backאָשִׁיבthe captivityשְׁבוּתof Judahיְהוּדָהand Jerusalem,וִירוּשָׁלִָם
I will gatherוְקִבַּצְתִּיallכָּלthe nationsהַגּוֹיִםand bring them downוְהוֹרַדְתִּיםtoאֶלthe valleyעֵמֶקof Jehoshaphat,יְהוֹשָׁפָטand I will enter into judgmentוְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּיwith themעִמָּםthereשָׁםon account ofעַלmy peopleעַמִּיand my inheritance,וְנַחֲלָתִיIsrael,יִשְׂרָאֵלwhomאֲשֶׁרthey scatteredפִּזְּרוּamong the nations,בַגּוֹיִםand my landוְאֶת אַרְצִיthey divided up.חִלֵּקוּ
And forוְאֶלmy peopleעַמִּיthey castיַדּוּlots,גוֹרָלand gaveוַיִּתְּנוּthe boyהַיֶּלֶדfor a prostitute,בַּזּוֹנָהand the girlוְהַיַּלְדָּהthey soldמָכְרוּfor wine,בַיַּיִןand drank it.וַיִּשְׁתּוּ
And also,וְגַםwhatמָהare youאַתֶּםto me,לִיTyreצֹרand Sidonוְצִידוֹןand allוְכֹלthe regionsגְּלִילוֹתof Philistia?פְּלָשֶׁתAre you payingהַ אַתֶּם מְשַׁלְּמִיםmeעָלָיback a recompense?גְּמוּלAnd ifוְאִםyouאַתֶּםare repayingגֹּמְלִיםme,עָלַיswiftly,קַלspeedilyמְהֵרָהI will returnאָשִׁיבyour recompenseגְּמֻלְכֶםon your head.בְּרֹאשְׁכֶם
Forאֲשֶׁרmy silverכַּסְפִּיand my goldוּזְהָבִיyou have taken,לְקַחְתֶּםand my precious things,וּמַחֲמַדַּיthe good ones,הַטֹּבִיםyou have broughtהֲבֵאתֶםinto your temples.לְהֵיכְלֵיכֶם
And the childrenוּבְנֵיof Judahיְהוּדָהand the childrenוּבְנֵיof Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַםyou have soldמְכַרְתֶּםto the childrenלִבְנֵיof the Greeks,הַיְּוָנִיםin orderלְמַעַןto remove them farהַרְחִיקָםfromמֵעַלtheir territory.גְּבוּלָם
Look at me:הִנְנִיI am rousing themמְעִירָםfromמִןthe placeהַמָּקוֹםto whichאֲשֶׁר שָׁמָּהyou soldמְכַרְתֶּםthem,אֹתָםand I will returnוַהֲשִׁבֹתִיyour recompenseגְמֻלְכֶםon your head.בְּרֹאשְׁכֶם
And I will sellוּמָכַרְתִּיyour sonsבְּנֵיכֶםand your daughtersוְ בְּנוֹתֵיכֶםinto the handבְּיַדof the childrenבְּנֵיof Judah,יְהוּדָהand they will sell themוּמְכָרוּםto the Sabeans,לִשְׁבָאיִםtoאֶלa nationגּוֹיfar away;רָחוֹקforכִּיYHWHיְהוָהhas spoken.דִּבֵּר
Proclaimקִרְאוּthisזֹאתamong the nations;בַּגּוֹיִםconsecrateקַדְּשׁוּwar;מִלְחָמָהrouseהָעִירוּthe mighty men;הַגִּבּוֹרִיםlet them draw near,יִגְּשׁוּlet them come up,יַעֲלוּallכֹּלthe menאַנְשֵׁיof war.הַמִּלְחָמָה
Beatכֹּתּוּyour plowsharesאִתֵּיכֶםinto swords,לַחֲרָבוֹתand your pruning hooksוּמַזְמְרֹתֵיכֶםinto spears;לִרְמָחִיםlet the weakהַחַלָּשׁsay,יֹאמַר“Iאָנִיam a mighty man.”גִּבּוֹר
Hurryעוּשׁוּand come,וָבֹאוּallכָלthe nationsהַגּוֹיִםround about,מִסָּבִיבand gather togetherוְנִקְבָּצוּthere.שָׁמָּהBring down,הַנְחַתYHWH,יְהוָהyour mighty men.גִּבּוֹרֶיךָ
Let the nationsהַגּוֹיִםbe rousedיֵעוֹרוּand come upוְיַעֲלוּtoאֶלthe valleyעֵמֶקof Jehoshaphat;יְהוֹשָׁפָטforכִּיthereשָׁםI will sitאֵשֵׁבto judgeלִשְׁפֹּטallכָּלthe nationsהַגּוֹיִםround about.מִסָּבִיב
Put inשִׁלְחוּthe sickle,מַגָּלforכִּיthe harvestקָצִירis ripe;בָשַׁלcome,בֹּאוּtread,רְדוּforכִּיthe winepressגַּתis full;מָלְאָהthe vatsהַיְקָבִיםoverflow,הֵשִׁיקוּforכִּיtheir evilרָעָתָםis great.רַבָּה
Multitudes,הֲמוֹנִיםmultitudesהֲמוֹנִיםin the valleyבְּעֵמֶקof decision!הֶחָרוּץForכִּיnearקָרוֹבis the dayיוֹםof YHWHיְהוָהin the valleyבְּעֵמֶקof decision.הֶחָרוּץ
Sunשֶׁמֶשׁand moonוְיָרֵחַgrow dark,קָדָרוּand the starsוְכוֹכָבִיםwithdrawאָסְפוּtheir brightness.נָגְהָם
And YHWHוַיהוָהroarsיִשְׁאָגfrom Zion,מִצִּיּוֹןand from Jerusalemוּמִירוּשָׁלִַםuttersיִתֵּןhis voice,קוֹלוֹand the heavensוְ שָׁמַיִםand the earthוָאָרֶץshake;רָעֲשׁוּbut YHWHוַיהוָהis a refugeמַחֲסֶהfor his people,לְעַמּוֹand a strongholdוּמָעוֹזfor the childrenלִבְנֵיof Israel.יִשְׂרָאֵל
And you will knowוִידַעְתֶּםthatכִּיIאֲנִיam YHWHיְהוָהyour Elohim,אֱלֹהֵיכֶםwho dwellsשֹׁכֵןin Zion,בְּצִיּוֹןmy holyקָדְשִׁיmountain;הַרand Jerusalemוְ יְרוּשָׁלִַםwill beהָיְתָהholy,קֹדֶשׁand strangersוְזָרִיםwill noלֹאlongerעוֹדpass throughיַעַבְרוּher.בָהּ
And it will happenוְהָיָהon that dayבַיּוֹם הַהוּאthat the mountainsהֶהָרִיםwill dripיִטְּפוּsweet wine,עָסִיסand the hillsוְהַגְּבָעוֹתwill flowתֵּלַכְנָהwith milk,חָלָבand allוְכָלthe streambedsאֲפִיקֵיof Judahיְהוּדָהwill runיֵלְכוּwith water;מָיִםand a springוּמַעְיָןwill go outיֵצֵאfrom the houseמִבֵּיתof YHWHיְהוָהand waterוְהִשְׁקָהthe wadiנַחַלof the Acacias.הַשִּׁטִּים
Egyptמִצְרַיִםwill becomeתִהְיֶהa desolation,לִשְׁמָמָהand Edomוֶאֱדוֹםwill becomeתִּהְיֶהa desolateשְׁמָמָהwilderness,לְמִדְבַּרbecause of the violenceמֵחֲמַסdone to the childrenבְּנֵיof Judah,יְהוּדָהin whoseאֲשֶׁרlandבְּאַרְצָםthey shedשָׁפְכוּinnocentנָקִיאblood.דָם
But Judahוִיהוּדָהwill be inhabitedתֵּשֵׁבforever,לְעוֹלָםand Jerusalemוִירוּשָׁלִַםto generationלְדוֹרafter generation.וָדוֹר
And I will cleanseוְנִקֵּיתִיtheir bloodדָּמָםthat I have notלֹאcleansed;נִקֵּיתִיand YHWHוַיהוָהdwellsשֹׁכֵןin Zion.בְּצִיּוֹן
