Thisזֹאתisthe landהָאָרֶץthat remains:הַנִּשְׁאָרֶתallכָּלthe regionsגְּלִילוֹתof the Philistines,הַפְּלִשְׁתִּיםand allוְכָלthe Geshuritesהַגְּשׁוּרִי
(fromמִןthe Shihor,הַשִּׁיחוֹרwhichאֲשֶׁרiseastעַל פְּנֵיof Egypt,מִצְרַיִםand as far asוְעַדthe borderגְּבוּלof Ekronעֶקְרוֹןto the north,צָפוֹנָהit is countedתֵּחָשֵׁבas Canaanite);לַכְּנַעֲנִיthe fiveחֲמֵשֶׁתrulersסַרְנֵיof the Philistines:פְלִשְׁתִּיםthe Gazite,הָעַזָּתִיthe Ashdodite,וְהָאַשְׁדּוֹדִיthe Ashkelonite,הָאֶשְׁקְלוֹנִיthe Gittite,הַגִּתִּיand the Ekronite;וְהָעֶקְרוֹנִיand the Avvitesוְהָעַוִּים
in the south;מִתֵּימָןallכָּלthe landאֶרֶץof the Canaanite,הַכְּנַעֲנִיand Mearah,וּמְעָרָהwhichאֲשֶׁרbelongsto the Sidonians,לַצִּידֹנִיםas far asעַדAphek,אֲפֵקָהtoעַדthe borderגְּבוּלof the Amorite;הָאֱמֹרִי
and the landוְהָאָרֶץof the Gebalites,הַגִּבְלִיand allוְכָלLebanon,הַלְּבָנוֹןtoward the sunrise,מִזְרַח הַשֶּׁמֶשׁfrom Baal-gadמִבַּעַל גָּדbelowתַּחַתMountהַרHermonחֶרְמוֹןtoעַדthe entranceלְבוֹאof Hamath.חֲמָת
Allכָּלthe inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵיof the hill countryהָהָרfromמִןLebanonהַלְּבָנוֹןtoעַדMisrephoth-maim,מִשְׂרְפֹת מַיִםallכָּלthe Sidonians,צִידֹנִיםIאָנֹכִיwill dispossess themאוֹרִישֵׁםbeforeמִפְּנֵיthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israel.יִשְׂרָאֵלOnlyרַקallot itהַפִּלֶהָto Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵלas an inheritance,בְּנַחֲלָהjust asכַּאֲשֶׁרI have commanded you.צִוִּיתִיךָ
And nowוְעַתָּהdivideחַלֵּקthisהַזֹּאתlandהָאָרֶץas an inheritanceבְּנַחֲלָהto the nineלְתִשְׁעַתtribesהַשְּׁבָטִיםand the halfוַחֲצִיtribeהַשֵּׁבֶטof Manasseh.”הַמְנַשֶּׁה
With itעִמּוֹthe Reubenitesהָראוּבֵנִיand the Gaditesוְהַגָּדִיtookלָקְחוּtheir inheritance,נַחֲלָתָםwhichאֲשֶׁרMosesמֹשֶׁהgaveנָתַןthemלָהֶםbeyondבְּעֵבֶרthe Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּןto the east,מִזְרָחָהjust asכַּאֲשֶׁרMosesמֹשֶׁהthe servantעֶבֶדof YHWHיְהוָהgave itנָתַןto them:לָהֶם
from Aroer,מֵעֲרוֹעֵרwhichאֲשֶׁרisonעַלthe bankשְׂפַתof the brookנַחַלArnon,אַרְנוֹןand the cityוְהָעִירthatאֲשֶׁרisinבְּthe middleתוֹךְof the brook,הַנַּחַלand allוְכָלthe plateauהַמִּישֹׁרof Medebaמֵידְבָאas far asעַדDibon;דִּיבוֹן
and allוְכֹלthe citiesעָרֵיof Sihonסִיחוֹןkingמֶלֶךְof the Amorite,הָאֱמֹרִיwhoאֲשֶׁרreignedמָלַךְin Heshbon,בְּחֶשְׁבּוֹןas far asעַדthe borderגְּבוּלof the sonsבְּנֵיof Ammon;עַמּוֹן
and Gilead,וְהַגִּלְעָדand the territoryוּגְבוּלof the Geshuritesהַגְּשׁוּרִיand the Maacathites,וְהַמַּעֲכָתִיand allוְכֹלMountהַרHermon,חֶרְמוֹןand allוְכָלBashanהַבָּשָׁןas far asעַדSalecah;סַלְכָה
allכָּלthe kingdomמַמְלְכוּתof Ogעוֹגin Bashan,בַּבָּשָׁןwhoאֲשֶׁרreignedמָלַךְin Ashtarothבְּעַשְׁתָּרוֹתand in Edreiוּבְאֶדְרֶעִי(heהוּאwas leftנִשְׁאַרof the remnantמִיֶּתֶרof the Rephaim);הָרְפָאִיםMosesמֹשֶׁהstruck themוַיַּכֵּםand dispossessed them.וַיֹּרִשֵׁם
But the sonsוְ בְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלdid notלֹאdispossessהוֹרִישׁוּthe Geshuritesהַגְּשׁוּרִיor the Maacathites,וְ הַמַּעֲכָתִיand Geshurוַ גְּשׁוּרand Maacathוּמַעֲכָתliveיֵּשֶׁבin the midstבְּקֶרֶבof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלtoעַדthisהַזֶּהday.הַיּוֹם
Onlyרַקto the tribeלְשֵׁבֶטof Leviהַלֵּוִיhe did notלֹאgiveנָתַןan inheritance:נַחֲלָהthe fire offeringsאִשֵּׁיof YHWH,יְהוָהthe Elohimאֱלֹהֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלthatהוּאishis inheritance,נַחֲלָתוֹjust asכַּאֲשֶׁרhe spokeדִּבֶּרto him.לוֹ
And Mosesוַ מֹשֶׁהgaveיִּתֵּןto the tribeלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Reubenרְאוּבֵןaccording to their families.לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם

Heshbonחֶשְׁבּוֹןand allוְכָלits citiesעָרֶיהָthatאֲשֶׁרareon the plateau:בַּמִּישֹׁרDibon,דִּיבוֹןBamoth-baal,וּבָמוֹת בַּעַלBeth-baal-meon,וּבֵית בַּעַל מְעוֹן
and Jahaz,וְיַהְצָהKedemoth,וּקְדֵמֹתand Mephaath,וּמֵפָעַת
and Kiriathaim,וְקִרְיָתַיִםSibmah,וְשִׂבְמָהand Zereth-shaharוְצֶרֶת הַשַּׁחַרon the hillבְּהַרof the valley,הָעֵמֶק
and Beth-peor,וּבֵית פְּעוֹרthe slopesוְאַשְׁדּוֹתof Pisgah,הַפִּסְגָּהand Beth-jeshimoth;וּבֵית הַיְשִׁמוֹת
and allוְכֹלthe citiesעָרֵיof the plateau,הַמִּישֹׁרand allוְכָלthe kingdomמַמְלְכוּתof Sihonסִיחוֹןkingמֶלֶךְof the Amorite,הָאֱמֹרִיwhoאֲשֶׁרreignedמָלַךְin Heshbon,בְּחֶשְׁבּוֹןwhomאֲשֶׁרMosesמֹשֶׁהstruck,הִכָּהhimאֹתוֹandוְthe chiefsנְשִׂיאֵיof Midian:מִדְיָןEvi,אֶת אֱוִיRekem,וְאֶת רֶקֶםZur,וְאֶת צוּרHur,וְאֶת חוּרand Reba,וְאֶת רֶבַעthe princesנְסִיכֵיof Sihon,סִיחוֹןwho livedיֹשְׁבֵיin the land.הָאָרֶץ
And Balaamוְאֶת בִּלְעָםsonבֶּןof Beor,בְּעוֹרthe diviner,הַקּוֹסֵםthe sonsבְנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלkilledהָרְגוּwith the sword,בַּחֶרֶבin addition toאֶלtheir slain.חַלְלֵיהֶם
Andוַthe borderגְּבוּלof the sonsבְּנֵיof Reubenרְאוּבֵןwasיְהִיthe Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּןas a border.וּגְבוּלThisזֹאתisthe inheritanceנַחֲלַתof the sonsבְּנֵיof Reubenרְאוּבֵןaccording to their families:לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםthe citiesהֶעָרִיםand their villages.וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
And Mosesוַ מֹשֶׁהgaveיִּתֵּןto the tribeלְמַטֵּהof Gad,גָדto the sonsלִבְנֵיof Gad,גָדaccording to their families.לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם
Andוַtheir territoryלָהֶם הַגְּבוּלwasיְהִיJazerיַעְזֵרand allוְכָלthe citiesעָרֵיof Gilead,הַגִּלְעָדand halfוַחֲצִיthe landאֶרֶץof the sonsבְּנֵיof Ammon,עַמּוֹןas far asעַדAroer,עֲרוֹעֵרwhichאֲשֶׁרiseastעַל פְּנֵיof Rabbah;רַבָּה
and from HeshbonוּמֵחֶשְׁבּוֹןtoעַדRamath-mizpehרָמַת הַמִּצְפֶּהand Betonim,וּבְטֹנִיםand from Mahanaimוּמִמַּחֲנַיִםtoעַדthe borderגְּבוּלof Debir;לִדְבִר
and in the valley:וּבָעֵמֶקBeth-haram,בֵּית הָרָםBeth-nimrah,וּבֵית נִמְרָהSuccoth,וְסֻכּוֹתand Zaphon,וְצָפוֹןthe restיֶתֶרof the kingdomמַמְלְכוּתof Sihonסִיחוֹןkingמֶלֶךְof Heshbon,חֶשְׁבּוֹןthe Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּןand its border,וּגְבֻלas far asעַדthe endקְצֵהof the Seaיָםof Chinnereth,כִּנֶּרֶתbeyondעֵבֶרthe Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּןto the east.מִזְרָחָה

Andוַtheir territoryגְבוּלָםwasיְהִיfrom Mahanaim:מִמַּחֲנַיִםallכָּלBashan,הַבָּשָׁןallכָּלthe kingdomמַמְלְכוּתof Ogעוֹגkingמֶלֶךְof Bashan,הַבָּשָׁןand allוְכָלHavvoth-jair,חַוֺּת יָאִירwhichאֲשֶׁרarein Bashan,בַּבָּשָׁןsixtyשִׁשִּׁיםcities;עִיר
