withμεθ’whomἧςthe kingsοἱ βασιλεῖςof the earthτῆς γῆςcommitted sexual immorality,ἐπόρνευσανandκαὶthose who live onοἱ κατοικοῦντεςthe earthτὴν γῆνbecame drunkἐμεθύσθησανwithἐκthe wineτοῦ οἴνουof herαὐτῆςsexual immorality.”τῆς πορνείας
Andκαὶhe carriedἀπήνεγκένmeμεaway intoεἰςa wildernessἔρημονinἐνthe Spirit;πνεύματιandκαὶI sawεἶδονa womanγυναῖκαseatedκαθημένηνonἐπὶa scarletκόκκινονbeastθηρίονfull ofγέμονταnamesὀνόματαof blasphemy,βλασφημίαςhavingἔχωνsevenἑπτὰheadsκεφαλὰςandκαὶtenδέκαhorns.κέρατα
Andκαὶthe womanἡ γυνὴwasἦνclothedπεριβεβλημένηin purpleπορφυροῦνandκαὶscarlet,κόκκινονandκαὶadornedκεχρυσωμένηwith goldχρυσίῳandκαὶpreciousτιμίῳstoneλίθῳandκαὶpearls,μαργαρίταιςholdingἔχουσαa goldenχρυσοῦνcupποτήριονinἐνherαὐτῆςhandτῇ χειρὶfullγέμονof abominationsβδελυγμάτωνandκαὶthe impuritiesτὰ ἀκάθαρταof herαὐτῆςsexual immorality,τῆς πορνείας
andκαὶonἐπὶherαὐτῆςforeheadτὸ μέτωπονa nameὄνομαwritten,γεγραμμένονa mystery:μυστήριον“BabylonΒαβυλὼνthe great,ἡ μεγάληthe motherἡ μήτηρof prostitutesτῶν πορνῶνandκαὶof the abominationsτῶν βδελυγμάτωνof the earth.”τῆς γῆς
AndκαὶI sawεἶδονthe womanτὴν γυναῖκαdrunkμεθύουσανwithἐκthe bloodτοῦ αἵματοςof the saintsτῶν ἁγίωνandκαὶwithἐκthe bloodτοῦ αἵματοςof the witnessesτῶν μαρτύρωνof Jesus.ἸησοῦAndΚαὶwhen I sawἰδὼνher,αὐτὴνI was amazedἐθαύμασαwith greatμέγαamazement.θαῦμα
Andκαὶthe angelὁ ἄγγελοςsaidεἶπένto me,μοι“WhyΔιὰ τίare you amazed?ἐθαύμασαςIἐγὼwill tellἐρῶyouσοιthe mysteryτὸ μυστήριονof the womanτῆς γυναικὸςandκαὶof the beastτοῦ θηρίουthat carriesτοῦ βαστάζοντοςher,αὐτήνwhich hasτοῦ ἔχοντοςthe sevenτὰς ἑπτὰheadsκεφαλὰςandκαὶthe tenτὰ δέκαhorns.κέρατα
The beastτὸ θηρίονthatὃyou sawεἶδεςwas,ἦνandκαὶisἔστινnot,οὐκandκαὶis aboutμέλλειto come upἀναβαίνεινout ofἐκthe abyssτῆς ἀβύσσουandκαὶgoesὑπάγειtoεἰςdestruction.ἀπώλειανAndκαὶthose who liveοἱ κατοικοῦντεςonἐπὶthe earth,τῆς γῆςwhoseὧνnameτὸ ὄνομαhas notοὐbeen writtenγέγραπταιinἐπὶthe bookτὸ βιβλίονof lifeτῆς ζωῆςfromἀπὸthe foundationκαταβολῆςof the world,κόσμουwill be amazedθαυμασθήσονταιwhen they seeβλεπόντωνthe beast,τὸ θηρίονbecauseὅτιit wasἦνandκαὶisἔστινnotοὐκandκαὶwill be present.παρέσται
HereὯδεisthe mindὁ νοῦςthat hasὁ ἔχωνwisdom:σοφίανthe sevenαἱ ἑπτὰheadsκεφαλαὶareεἰσίνsevenἑπτὰmountains,ὄρηonἐπ’whichὅπου αὐτῶνthe womanἡ γυνὴis seated;κάθηταιandκαὶthey areεἰσινsevenἑπτάkings;βασιλεῖς
fiveοἱ πέντεhave fallen,ἔπεσανoneὁ εἷςis,ἔστινthe otherὁ ἄλλοςhas not yetοὔπωcome;ἦλθενandκαὶwhenὅτανhe comes,ἔλθῃheαὐτὸνmustδεῖremainμεῖναιa little while.ὀλίγον
Andκαὶthe beastτὸ θηρίονthatὃwasἦνandκαὶisἔστινnot,οὐκitαὐτὸςtooκαὶisἐστινan eighth,ὄγδοόςandκαὶit isἐστινofἐκthe seven,τῶν ἑπτάandκαὶit goesὑπάγειtoεἰςdestruction.ἀπώλειαν
Andκαὶthe tenτὰ δέκαhornsκέραταthatἃyou sawεἶδεςareεἰσινtenδέκαkingsβασιλεῖςwhoοἵτινεςhave not yetοὔπωreceivedἔλαβονa kingdom,βασιλείανbutἀλλὰthey receiveλαμβάνουσινauthorityἐξουσίανasὡςkingsβασιλεῖςfor oneμίανhourὥρανwithμετὰthe beast.τοῦ θηρίου
Theseοὗτοιhaveἔχουσινoneμίανpurpose,γνώμηνandκαὶthey giveδιδόασινtheirαὐτῶνpowerτὴν δύναμινandκαὶauthorityἐξουσίανto the beast.τῷ θηρίῳ
Theseοὗτοιwill make warπολεμήσουσινagainstμετὰthe Lamb,τοῦ ἀρνίουandκαὶthe Lambτὸ ἀρνίονwill conquerνικήσειthem,αὐτούςbecauseὅτιhe isἐστὶνLordκύριοςof lordsκυρίωνandκαὶKingβασιλεὺςof kings,βασιλέωνandκαὶthoseοἱwithμετ’himαὐτοῦarecalledκλητοὶandκαὶchosenἐκλεκτοὶandκαὶfaithful.”πιστοί
AndΚαὶhe saysλέγειto me,μοι“The watersΤὰ ὕδαταthatἃyou saw,εἶδεςwhereοὗthe prostituteἡ πόρνηis seated,κάθηταιareεἰσὶνpeoplesλαοὶandκαὶcrowdsὄχλοιandκαὶnationsἔθνηandκαὶlanguages.γλῶσσαι
Andκαὶthe tenτὰ δέκαhornsκέραταthatἃyou saw,εἶδεςandκαὶthe beast,τὸ θηρίονtheseοὗτοιwill hateμισήσουσιthe prostituteτὴν πόρνηνandκαὶwill makeποιήσουσινherαὐτὴνdesolateἠρημωμένηνandκαὶnaked,γυμνήνandκαὶthey will eatφάγονταιherαὐτῆςfleshτὰς σάρκαςandκαὶburn her upαὐτὴν κατακαύσουσινwithἐνfire.πυρί
ForγὰρGodὁ θεὸςhas put itἔδωκενintoεἰςtheirαὐτῶνheartsτὰς καρδίαςto carry outποιῆσαιhisαὐτοῦpurposeτὴν γνώμηνandκαὶto act onποιῆσαιoneμίανpurposeγνώμηνandκαὶto giveδοῦναιtheirαὐτῶνkingdomτὴν βασιλείανto the beast,τῷ θηρίῳuntilἄχριthe wordsοἱ λόγοιof Godτοῦ θεοῦare fulfilled.τελεσθήσονται
Andκαὶthe womanἡ γυνὴwhomἣνyou sawεἶδεςisἔστινthe greatἡ μεγάληcityἡ πόλιςthat hasἡ ἔχουσαkingshipβασιλείανoverἐπὶthe kingsτῶν βασιλέωνof the earth.”τῆς γῆς
