“And Bezalelוְ בְצַלְאֵלand Oholiabוְאָהֳלִיאָבand everyוְכֹלmanאִישׁwiseחֲכַםof heart,לֵבin whomאֲשֶׁר בָּהֵמָּהYHWHיְהוָהhas putנָתַןwisdomחָכְמָהand understandingוּתְבוּנָהto know howלָדַעַתto doלַעֲשֹׂתallאֶת כָּלthe workמְלֶאכֶתof the serviceעֲבֹדַתof the sanctuary,הַקֹּדֶשׁshall doעָשָׂהaccording to allלְכֹלthatאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhas commanded.”צִוָּה
And Mosesוַ מֹשֶׁהcalledיִּקְרָאBezalelאֶל בְּצַלְאֵלand Oholiabוְאֶל אָהֳלִיאָבand everyוְאֶל כָּלmanאִישׁwiseחֲכַםof heart,לֵבin whoseאֲשֶׁרheartבְּלִבּוֹYHWHיְהוָהhad putנָתַןwisdom,חָכְמָהeveryoneכֹּלwhoseאֲשֶׁרheartלִבּוֹstirredנְשָׂאhimוֹto come nearלְקָרְבָהto the workאֶל הַמְּלָאכָהto doלַעֲשֹׂתit.אֹתָהּ
And they receivedוַיִּקְחוּfromמִלִּMosesפְנֵי מֹשֶׁהallאֵת כָּלthe contributionהַתְּרוּמָהthatאֲשֶׁרthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלhad broughtהֵבִיאוּfor the workלִמְלֶאכֶתof the serviceעֲבֹדַתof the sanctuary,הַקֹּדֶשׁto doלַעֲשֹׂתit.אֹתָהּAnd theyוְהֵםkept bringingהֵבִיאוּto himאֵלָיוstillעוֹדfreewill offeringsנְדָבָהmorningבַּבֹּקֶרby morning.בַּבֹּקֶר
And allוַ כָּלthe wise menהַחֲכָמִיםwho were doingהָעֹשִׂיםallאֵת כָּלthe workמְלֶאכֶתof the sanctuaryהַקֹּדֶשׁcame,יָּבֹאוּeach manאִישׁ אִישׁfrom his workמִמְּלַאכְתּוֹthatאֲשֶׁרtheyהֵמָּהwere doing,עֹשִׂים
and they saidוַיֹּאמְרוּto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהsaying,לֵּאמֹר“The peopleהָעָםare bringing much moreמַרְבִּיםthan enoughלְהָבִיא מִדֵּיfor the serviceהָעֲבֹדָהfor the workלַמְּלָאכָהthatאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהcommandedצִוָּהto doלַעֲשֹׂתit.”אֹתָהּ
So Mosesוַ מֹשֶׁהcommanded,יְצַוand they made a proclamationוַיַּעֲבִירוּ קוֹלpass through the camp,בַּמַּחֲנֶהsaying,לֵאמֹר“Let noאַלmanאִישׁor womanוְאִשָּׁהdoיַעֲשׂוּany moreעוֹדworkמְלָאכָהfor the contributionלִתְרוּמַתof the sanctuary.”הַקֹּדֶשׁSo the peopleוַ הָעָםwere restrainedיִּכָּלֵאfrom bringing.מֵהָבִיא
For the materialוְהַמְּלָאכָהwasהָיְתָהenoughדַיָּםfor allלְכָלthe workהַמְּלָאכָהto doלַעֲשׂוֹתit,אֹתָהּand more.וְהוֹתֵר
And allוַ כָלthe wiseחֲכַםof heartלֵבamong those who didבְּעֹשֵׂיthe workהַמְּלָאכָהmadeיַּעֲשׂוּthe dwellingאֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּןwith tenעֶשֶׂרcurtainsיְרִיעֹתof twistedמָשְׁזָרfine linenשֵׁשׁand blueוּתְכֵלֶתand purpleוְאַרְגָּמָןand scarlet,וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִיwith cherubim,כְּרֻבִיםthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof a skilled craftsman,חֹשֵׁבhe madeעָשָׂהthem.אֹתָם
The lengthאֹרֶךְof eachהָאַחַתcurtainהַיְרִיעָהwas twenty-eightשְׁמֹנֶה וְעֶשְׂרִיםcubits,בָּאַמָּהand the widthוְרֹחַבfourאַרְבַּעcubitsבָּאַמָּהfor eachהָאֶחָתcurtain;הַיְרִיעָהoneאַחַתmeasureמִדָּהfor allלְכָלthe curtains.הַיְרִיעֹת
And he joinedוַיְחַבֵּרfiveאֶת חֲמֵשׁcurtains,הַיְרִיעֹתoneאַחַתto another,אֶל אֶחָתand fiveוְחָמֵשׁcurtainsיְרִיעֹתhe joined,חִבַּרoneאַחַתto another.אֶל אֶחָת
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂloopsלֻלְאֹתof blueתְּכֵלֶתon the edgeעַל שְׂפַתof the oneהַ הָאֶחָתcurtainיְרִיעָהat the endמִקָּצָהin the set;בַּמַּחְבָּרֶתsoכֵּןhe madeעָשָׂהon the edgeבִּשְׂפַתof the outermostהַקִּיצוֹנָהcurtainהַיְרִיעָהin the secondהַשֵּׁנִיתset.בַּמַּחְבֶּרֶת
Fiftyחֲמִשִּׁיםloopsלֻלָאֹתhe madeעָשָׂהon the oneבַּ הָאֶחָתcurtain,יְרִיעָהand fiftyוַחֲמִשִּׁיםloopsלֻלָאֹתhe madeעָשָׂהon the endבִּקְצֵהof the curtainהַיְרִיעָהthat wasאֲשֶׁרin the secondהַשֵּׁנִיתset;בַּמַּחְבֶּרֶתthe loopsהַלֻּלָאֹתwere oppositeמַקְבִּילֹתoneאַחַתto another.אֶל אֶחָת
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂfiftyחֲמִשִּׁיםclaspsקַרְסֵיof goldזָהָבand joinedוַיְחַבֵּרthe curtains,אֶת הַיְרִעֹתoneאַחַתto another,אֶל אַחַתwith the clasps,בַּקְּרָסִיםso that the dwellingוַ הַמִּשְׁכָּןbecameיְהִיone.אֶחָד
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂcurtainsיְרִיעֹתof goats’ hairעִזִּיםfor a tentלְאֹהֶלover the dwelling;עַל הַמִּשְׁכָּןelevenעַשְׁתֵּי עֶשְׂרֵהcurtainsיְרִיעֹתhe madeעָשָׂהthem.אֹתָם
The lengthאֹרֶךְof eachהָאַחַתcurtainהַיְרִיעָהwas thirtyשְׁלֹשִׁיםcubits,בָּאַמָּהand fourוְאַרְבַּעcubitsאַמּוֹתthe widthרֹחַבof eachהָאֶחָתcurtain;הַיְרִיעָהoneאַחַתmeasureמִדָּהfor the elevenלְעַשְׁתֵּי עֶשְׂרֵהcurtains.יְרִיעֹת
And he joinedוַיְחַבֵּרfiveאֶת חֲמֵשׁcurtainsהַיְרִיעֹתby themselves,לְבָדand sixוְאֶת שֵׁשׁcurtainsהַיְרִיעֹתby themselves.לְבָד
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂfiftyחֲמִשִּׁיםloopsלֻלָאֹתon the edgeעַל שְׂפַתof the outermostהַקִּיצֹנָהcurtainהַיְרִיעָהin the set,בַּמַּחְבָּרֶתand fiftyוַחֲמִשִּׁיםloopsלֻלָאֹתhe madeעָשָׂהon the edgeעַל שְׂפַתof the curtainהַיְרִיעָהof the secondהַשֵּׁנִיתset.הַחֹבֶרֶת
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂfiftyחֲמִשִּׁיםclaspsקַרְסֵיof bronzeנְחֹשֶׁתto joinלְחַבֵּרthe tentאֶת הָאֹהֶלto beלִהְיֹתone.אֶחָד
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂa coveringמִכְסֶהfor the tentלָאֹהֶלof rams’אֵלִיםskinsעֹרֹתdyed red,מְאָדָּמִיםand a coveringוּמִכְסֵהof fineתְּחָשִׁיםskinsעֹרֹתabove.מִלְמָעְלָה
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂthe boardsאֶת הַקְּרָשִׁיםfor the dwellingלַמִּשְׁכָּןof acaciaשִׁטִּיםwood,עֲצֵיstanding upright.עֹמְדִים
Tenעֶשֶׂרcubitsאַמֹּתwas the lengthאֹרֶךְof the board,הַקָּרֶשׁand a cubitוְאַמָּהand a halfוַחֲצִי הָאַמָּהthe widthרֹחַבof eachהָאֶחָדboard.הַקֶּרֶשׁ
Twoשְׁתֵּיtenonsיָדֹתwere for eachהָאֶחָדboard,לַקֶּרֶשׁjoinedמְשֻׁלָּבֹתoneאַחַתto another;אֶל אֶחָתsoכֵּןhe madeעָשָׂהfor allלְכֹלthe boardsקַרְשֵׁיof the dwelling.הַמִּשְׁכָּן
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂthe boardsאֶת הַקְּרָשִׁיםfor the dwelling:לַמִּשְׁכָּןtwentyעֶשְׂרִיםboardsקְרָשִׁיםfor the southלִפְאַת נֶגֶבside,תֵּימָנָה
and fortyוְאַרְבָּעִיםbasesאַדְנֵיof silverכֶסֶףhe madeעָשָׂהunderתַּחַתthe twentyעֶשְׂרִים הַboards,קְּרָשִׁיםtwoשְׁנֵיbasesאֲדָנִיםunderתַּחַתoneהָאֶחָדboardהַקֶּרֶשׁfor its twoלִשְׁתֵּיtenons,יְדֹתָיוand twoוּשְׁנֵיbasesאֲדָנִיםunderתַּחַתanotherהָאֶחָדboardהַקֶּרֶשׁfor its twoלִשְׁתֵּיtenons.יְדֹתָיו
And for the secondוּלְ הַשֵּׁנִיתsideצֶלַעof the dwelling,הַמִּשְׁכָּןon the northצָפוֹןside,לִפְאַתhe madeעָשָׂהtwentyעֶשְׂרִיםboards,קְרָשִׁים
and their fortyוְאַרְבָּעִים הֶםbasesאַדְנֵיof silver,כָּסֶףtwoשְׁנֵיbasesאֲדָנִיםunderתַּחַתoneהָאֶחָדboardהַקֶּרֶשׁand twoוּשְׁנֵיbasesאֲדָנִיםunderתַּחַתanotherהָאֶחָדboard.הַקֶּרֶשׁ
And for the rearוּלְיַרְכְּתֵיof the dwellingהַמִּשְׁכָּןwestwardיָמָּהhe madeעָשָׂהsixשִׁשָּׁהboards.קְרָשִׁים
And twoוּשְׁנֵיboardsקְרָשִׁיםhe madeעָשָׂהfor the cornersלִמְקֻצְעֹתof the dwellingהַמִּשְׁכָּןat the rear.בַּיַּרְכָתָיִם
And they wereוְהָיוּdoubleתוֹאֲמִםfrom below,מִלְּמַטָּהand togetherוְיַחְדָּוthey wereיִהְיוּcompleteתַמִּיםto its top,אֶל רֹאשׁוֹat the oneאֶל הַ הָאֶחָתring;טַּבַּעַתsoכֵּןhe madeעָשָׂהfor both of them,לִשְׁנֵיהֶםfor the twoלִשְׁנֵיcorners.הַמִּקְצֹעֹת
And there wereוְהָיוּeightשְׁמֹנָהboardsקְרָשִׁיםand their basesוְאַדְנֵיהֶםof silver,כֶּסֶףsixteenשִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂרbases,אֲדָנִיםtwoשְׁנֵיbases,אֲדָנִיםtwoשְׁנֵיbasesאֲדָנִיםunderתַּחַתeachהָאֶחָדboard.הַקֶּרֶשׁ
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂbarsבְּרִיחֵיof acaciaשִׁטִּיםwood,עֲצֵיfiveחֲמִשָּׁהfor the boardsלְקַרְשֵׁיof the oneהָאֶחָתsideצֶלַעof the dwelling,הַמִּשְׁכָּן
and fiveוַחֲמִשָּׁהbarsבְרִיחִםfor the boardsלְקַרְשֵׁיof the secondהַשֵּׁנִיתsideצֶלַעof the dwelling,הַמִּשְׁכָּןand fiveוַחֲמִשָּׁהbarsבְרִיחִםfor the boardsלְקַרְשֵׁיof the dwellingהַמִּשְׁכָּןat the rearלַיַּרְכָתַיִםwestward.יָמָּה
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂthe middleהַתִּיכֹןbarאֶת הַבְּרִיחַto passלִבְרֹחַthrough the middleבְּתוֹךְof the boardsהַקְּרָשִׁיםfromמִןendהַקָּצֶהtoאֶלend.הַקָּצֶה
And the boardsוְאֶת הַקְּרָשִׁיםhe overlaidצִפָּהwith gold,זָהָבand their ringsוְאֶת טַבְּעֹתָםhe madeעָשָׂהof gold,זָהָבholdersבָּתִּיםfor the bars;לַבְּרִיחִםand he overlaidוַיְצַףthe barsאֶת הַבְּרִיחִםwith gold.זָהָב
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂthe veilאֶת הַפָּרֹכֶתof blueתְּכֵלֶתand purpleוְאַרְגָּמָןand scarletוְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִיand twistedמָשְׁזָרfine linen;וְשֵׁשׁthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof a skilled craftsman,חֹשֵׁבhe madeעָשָׂהitאֹתָהּwith cherubim.כְּרֻבִים
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂfor itלָהּfourאַרְבָּעָהpillarsעַמּוּדֵיof acacia,שִׁטִּיםand overlaid themוַיְצַפֵּםwith gold;זָהָבtheir hooksוָוֵיהֶםwere of gold;זָהָבand he castוַיִּצֹקfor themלָהֶםfourאַרְבָּעָהbasesאַדְנֵיof silver.כָסֶף
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂa screenמָסָךְfor the entranceלְפֶתַחof the tent,הָאֹהֶלof blueתְּכֵלֶתand purpleוְאַרְגָּמָןand scarletוְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִיand twistedמָשְׁזָרfine linen,וְשֵׁשׁthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof an embroiderer,רֹקֵם
and its fiveחֲמִשָּׁהpillarsוְאֶת עַמּוּדָיוand their hooks;וְאֶת וָוֵיהֶםand he overlaidוְצִפָּהtheir topsרָאשֵׁיהֶםand their rodsוַחֲשֻׁקֵיהֶםwith gold;זָהָבand their fiveחֲמִשָּׁהbasesוְאַדְנֵיהֶםwere of bronze.נְחֹשֶׁת
