Nehemiah 10

And onוְעַלwhat was sealed:הַחֲתוּמִיםNehemiahנְחֶמְיָהthe governor,הַתִּרְשָׁתָאsonבֶּןof Hacaliah,חֲכַלְיָהand Zedekiah,וְצִדְקִיָּה

Seraiah,שְׂרָיָהAzariah,עֲזַרְיָהJeremiah,יִרְמְיָה

Pashhur,פַּשְׁחוּרAmariah,אֲמַרְיָהMalchijah,מַלְכִּיָּה

Hattush,חַטּוּשׁShebaniah,שְׁבַנְיָהMalluch,מַלּוּךְ

Harim,חָרִםMeremoth,מְרֵמוֹתObadiah,עֹבַדְיָה

Daniel,דָּנִיֵּאלGinnethon,גִּנְּתוֹןBaruch,בָּרוּךְ

Meshullam,מְשֻׁלָּםAbijah,אֲבִיָּהMijamin,מִיָּמִן

Maaziah,מַעַזְיָהBilgai,בִלְגַּיShemaiah;שְׁמַעְיָהthese wereאֵלֶּהthe priests.הַכֹּהֲנִים

And the Levites:וְהַלְוִיִּםJeshuaוְיֵשׁוּעַsonבֶּןof Azaniah,אֲזַנְיָהBinnuiבִּנּוּיof the sonsמִבְּנֵיof Henadad,חֵנָדָדKadmiel;קַדְמִיאֵל

and their brothers:וַאֲחֵיהֶםShebaniah,שְׁבַנְיָהHodiah,הוֹדִיָּהKelita,קְלִיטָאPelaiah,פְּלָאיָהHanan,חָנָן

Mica,מִיכָאRehob,רְחוֹבHashabiah,חֲשַׁבְיָה

Zaccur,זַכּוּרSherebiah,שֵׁרֵבְיָהShebaniah,שְׁבַנְיָה

Hodiah,הוֹדִיָּהBani,בָנִיBeninu.בְּנִינוּ

The headsרָאשֵׁיof the people:הָעָםParosh,פַּרְעֹשׁPahath-moab,פַּחַת מוֹאָבElam,עֵילָםZattu,זַתּוּאBani,בָּנִי

Bunni,בֻּנִּיAzgad,עַזְגָּדBebai,בֵּבָי

Adonijah,אֲדֹנִיָּהBigvai,בִגְוַיAdin,עָדִין

Ater,אָטֵרHezekiah,חִזְקִיָּהAzzur,עַזּוּר

Hodiah,הוֹדִיָּהHashum,חָשֻׁםBezai,בֵּצָי

Hariph,חָרִיףAnathoth,עֲנָתוֹתNebai,נֵיבָי

Magpiash,מַגְפִּיעָשׁMeshullam,מְשֻׁלָּםHezir,חֵזִיר

Meshezabel,מְשֵׁיזַבְאֵלZadok,צָדוֹקJaddua,יַדּוּעַ

Pelatiah,פְּלַטְיָהHanan,חָנָןAnaiah,עֲנָיָה

Hoshea,הוֹשֵׁעַHananiah,חֲנַנְיָהHasshub,חַשּׁוּב

Hallohesh,הַלּוֹחֵשׁPilha,פִּלְחָאShobek,שׁוֹבֵק

Rehum,רְחוּםHashabnah,חֲשַׁבְנָהMaaseiah,מַעֲשֵׂיָה

and Ahijah,וַאֲחִיָּהHanan,חָנָןAnan,עָנָן

Malluch,מַלּוּךְHarim,חָרִםBaanah.בַּעֲנָה

And the restוּשְׁאָרof the people,הָעָםthe priests,הַכֹּהֲנִיםthe Levites,הַלְוִיִּםthe gatekeepers,הַשּׁוֹעֲרִיםthe singers,הַמְשֹׁרְרִיםthe Nethinim,הַנְּתִינִיםand allוְכָלwho had separated themselvesהַנִּבְדָּלfrom the peoplesמֵעַמֵּיof the landsהָאֲרָצוֹתtoאֶלthe lawתּוֹרַתof Elohim,הָאֱלֹהִיםtheir wives,נְשֵׁיהֶםtheir sonsבְּנֵיהֶםand their daughters,וּבְנֹתֵיהֶםallכֹּלwho knew howיוֹדֵעַto understand,מֵבִין

were adheringמַחֲזִיקִיםtoעַלtheir brothers,אֲחֵיהֶםtheir nobles,אַדִּירֵיהֶםand enteringוּבָאִיםinto an imprecationבְּאָלָהand into an oathוּבִשְׁבוּעָהto walkלָלֶכֶתin the lawבְּתוֹרַתof Elohim,הָאֱלֹהִיםwhichאֲשֶׁרwas givenנִתְּנָהby the handבְּיַדof Mosesמֹשֶׁהthe servantעֶבֶדof Elohim,הָאֱלֹהִיםand to keepוְלִשְׁמוֹרand doוְלַעֲשׂוֹתallכָּלthe commandmentsמִצְוֺתof YHWHיְהוָהour Lord,אֲדֹנֵינוּand his rulesוּמִשְׁפָּטָיוand his statutes;וְחֻקָּיו

and thatוַאֲשֶׁרwe will notלֹאgiveנִתֵּןour daughtersבְּנֹתֵינוּto the peoplesלְעַמֵּיof the land,הָאָרֶץandוְtheir daughtersבְּנֹתֵיהֶםwe will notלֹאtakeנִקַּחfor our sons;לְבָנֵינוּ

and as for the peoplesוְעַמֵּיof the landהָאָרֶץwho bringהַמְבִיאִיםthe merchandiseהַמַּקָּחוֹתand anyוְכָלgrainשֶׁבֶרon the dayבְּיוֹםof the Sabbathהַשַּׁבָּתto sell,לִמְכּוֹרwe will notלֹאtake anythingנִקַּחfrom themמֵהֶםon the Sabbathבַּשַּׁבָּתorוּon a holyבְ קֹדֶשׁday;יוֹםand we will leaveוְנִטֹּשׁthe seventhהַ הַשְּׁבִיעִיתyearשָּׁנָהand the loanוּמַשָּׁאof everyכָלhand.יָד

And we laidוְהֶעֱמַדְנוּon ourselvesעָלֵינוּcommandments,מִצְוֺתto putלָתֵתon ourselvesעָלֵינוּthe thirdשְׁלִשִׁיתof a shekelהַשֶּׁקֶלa yearבַּשָּׁנָהfor the serviceלַעֲבֹדַתof the houseבֵּיתof our Elohim:אֱלֹהֵינוּ

for the breadלְלֶחֶםof the row,הַמַּעֲרֶכֶתand the continualוּ הַתָּמִידgrain offering,מִנְחַתand for the continualוּלְ הַתָּמִידburnt offering,עוֹלַתthe Sabbaths,הַשַּׁבָּתוֹתthe new moons,הֶחֳדָשִׁיםfor the appointed times,לַמּוֹעֲדִיםand for the holy things,וְלַקֳּדָשִׁיםand for the sin offeringsוְלַחַטָּאוֹתto make expiationלְכַפֵּרforעַלIsrael,יִשְׂרָאֵלand allוְכֹלthe workמְלֶאכֶתof the houseבֵּיתof our Elohim.אֱלֹהֵינוּ

And the lotsוְהַגּוֹרָלוֹתwe castהִפַּלְנוּforעַלthe offeringקֻרְבַּןof the wood,הָעֵצִיםthe priests,הַכֹּהֲנִיםthe Levites,הַלְוִיִּםand the people,וְהָעָםto bring itלְהָבִיאto the houseלְבֵיתof our Elohim,אֱלֹהֵינוּby our fathers’ house,לְבֵית אֲבֹתֵינוּat fixedלְ מְזֻמָּנִיםtimes,עִתִּיםyear after year,שָׁנָה בְשָׁנָהto burnלְבַעֵרonעַלthe altarמִזְבַּחof YHWHיְהוָהour Elohim,אֱלֹהֵינוּasכַּit is writtenכָּתוּבin the law;בַּתּוֹרָה

and to bringוּלְהָבִיאthe firstfruitsבִּכּוּרֵיof our groundאַדְמָתֵנוּand the firstfruitsוּבִכּוּרֵיof allכָּלfruitפְּרִיof everyכָלtree,עֵץyear after year,שָׁנָה בְשָׁנָהto the houseלְבֵיתof YHWH;יְהוָה

and the firstbornוְ בְּכֹרוֹתof our sonsבָּנֵינוּand of our livestock,וּבְהֶמְתֵּינוּasכַּit is writtenכָּתוּבin the law,בַּתּוֹרָהand the firstbornוְ בְּכוֹרֵיof our herdsבְקָרֵינוּand of our flocks,וְצֹאנֵינוּto bring themלְהָבִיאto the houseלְבֵיתof our Elohim,אֱלֹהֵינוּto the priestsלַכֹּהֲנִיםwho ministerהַמְשָׁרְתִיםin the houseבְּבֵיתof our Elohim;אֱלֹהֵינוּ

and the firstוְ רֵאשִׁיתof our dough,עֲרִיסֹתֵינוּand our contributions,וּתְרוּמֹתֵינוּand the fruitוּפְרִיof everyכָלtree,עֵץnew wineתִּירוֹשׁand oil,וְיִצְהָרwe will bringנָבִיאto the priests,לַכֹּהֲנִיםtoאֶלthe chambersלִשְׁכוֹתof the houseבֵּיתof our Elohim;אֱלֹהֵינוּand the titheוּמַעְשַׂרof our groundאַדְמָתֵנוּto the Levites;לַלְוִיִּםand they,וְהֵםthe Levites,הַלְוִיִּםarethe ones who receive the titheהַמְעַשְּׂרִיםin allבְּכֹלthe citiesעָרֵיof our labor.עֲבֹדָתֵנוּ

And the priest,וְ הַכֹּהֵןthe sonבֶּןof Aaron,אַהֲרֹןshall beהָיָהwithעִםthe Levitesהַלְוִיִּםwhen the Levitesהַלְוִיִּםreceive the tithe;בַּעְשֵׂרand the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּםshall bring upיַעֲלוּthe titheמַעֲשַׂרof the titheהַמַּעֲשֵׂרto the houseלְבֵיתof our Elohim,אֱלֹהֵינוּtoאֶלthe chambers,הַלְּשָׁכוֹתto the houseלְבֵיתof the treasury.הָאוֹצָר

Forכִּיtoאֶלthe chambersהַלְּשָׁכוֹתthe sonsבְנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלand the sonsוּבְנֵיof Leviהַלֵּוִיshall bringיָבִיאוּthe contributionתְּרוּמַתof the grain,הַדָּגָןthe new wine,הַתִּירוֹשׁand the oil;וְהַיִּצְהָרand thereוְשָׁםarethe utensilsכְּלֵיof the sanctuary,הַמִּקְדָּשׁand the priestsוְהַכֹּהֲנִיםwho minister,הַמְשָׁרְתִיםand the gatekeepersוְהַשּׁוֹעֲרִיםand the singers.וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִיםAnd we will notוְלֹאabandonנַעֲזֹבthe houseבֵּיתof our Elohim.אֱלֹהֵינוּ
