Theseאֵלֶּהarethe sonsבְּנֵיof Israel:יִשְׂרָאֵלReuben,רְאוּבֵןSimeon,שִׁמְעוֹןLevi,לֵוִיJudah,וִיהוּדָהIssachar,יִשָׂשכָרZebulun,וּזְבֻלוּן

Dan,דָּןJoseph,יוֹסֵףBenjamin,וּבִנְיָמִןNaphtali,נַפְתָּלִיGad,גָּדand Asher.וְאָשֵׁר

The sonsבְּנֵיof Judah:יְהוּדָהEr,עֵרOnan,וְאוֹנָןand Shelah;וְשֵׁלָהthese threeשְׁלוֹשָׁהwere bornנוֹלַדto himלוֹbyמִthe daughterבַּתof Shuaשׁוּעַthe Canaanite.הַכְּנַעֲנִיתAnd Er,וַ עֵרthe firstbornבְּכוֹרof Judah,יְהוּדָהwasיְהִיevilרַעin the eyesבְּעֵינֵיof YHWH,יְהוָהand he put him to death.וַיְמִיתֵהוּ

And Tamar,וְתָמָרhis daughter-in-law,כַּלָּתוֹboreיָלְדָהhimלּוֹPerezאֶת פֶּרֶץand Zerah.וְאֶת זָרַחAllכָּלthe sonsבְּנֵיof Judah:יְהוּדָהfive.חֲמִשָּׁה

The sonsבְּנֵיof Perez:פֶרֶץHezronחֶצְרוֹןand Hamul.וְחָמוּל

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Zerah:זֶרַחZimri,זִמְרִיEthan,וְאֵיתָןHeman,וְהֵימָןCalcol,וְכַלְכֹּלand Dara;וָדָרַעall of them,כֻּלָּםfive.חֲמִשָּׁה

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Carmi:כַּרְמִיAchar,עָכָרthe one who brought ruin onעוֹכֵרIsrael,יִשְׂרָאֵלwhoאֲשֶׁרcommitted an act of unfaithfulnessמָעַלregarding the thing devoted to destruction.בַּחֵרֶם

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Ethan:אֵיתָןAzariah.עֲזַרְיָה

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Hezronחֶצְרוֹןwhoאֲשֶׁרwere bornנוֹלַדto him:לוֹJerahmeel,אֶת יְרַחְמְאֵלRam,וְאֶת רָםand Chelubai.וְאֶת כְּלוּבָי

AndוְRamרָםfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתAmminadab,עַמִּינָדָבand Amminadabוְעַמִּינָדָבfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתNahshon,נַחְשׁוֹןchiefנְשִׂיאof the sonsבְּנֵיof Judah.יְהוּדָה

AndוְNahshonנַחְשׁוֹןfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתSalma,שַׂלְמָאand Salmaוְשַׂלְמָאfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתBoaz.בֹּעַז

AndוּBoazבֹעַזfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתObed,עוֹבֵדand Obedוְעוֹבֵדfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתJesse.יִשָׁי

AndוְJesseאִישַׁיfatheredהוֹלִידhis firstbornאֶת בְּכֹרוֹEliab,אֶת אֱלִיאָבAbinadabוַאֲבִינָדָבthe second,הַשֵּׁנִיand Shimeaוְשִׁמְעָאthe third,הַשְּׁלִישִׁי

Nethanelנְתַנְאֵלthe fourth,הָרְבִיעִיRaddaiרַדַּיthe fifth,הַחֲמִישִׁי

Ozemאֹצֶםthe sixth,הַשִּׁשִּׁיDavidדָּוִידthe seventh.הַשְּׁבִעִי

And their sistersוְאַחְיוֹתֵיהֶםwereZeruiahצְרוּיָהand Abigail.וַאֲבִיגָיִלAnd the sonsוּבְנֵיof Zeruiah:צְרוּיָהAbishai,אַבְשַׁיJoab,וְיוֹאָבand Asahel,וַעֲשָׂה אֵלthree.שְׁלֹשָׁה

And Abigailוַאֲבִיגַיִלboreיָלְדָה אֶתAmasa,עֲמָשָׂאand the fatherוַאֲבִיof AmasaעֲמָשָׂאwasJetherיֶתֶרthe Ishmaelite.הַיִּשְׁמְעֵאלִי

And Calebוְכָלֵבthe sonבֶּןof Hezronחֶצְרוֹןfathered childrenהוֹלִיד אֶתbyAzubah,עֲזוּבָהhis wife,אִשָּׁהand by Jerioth;וְאֶת יְרִיעוֹתand theseוְאֵלֶּהareher sons:בָנֶיJesher,הָ יֵשֶׁרShobab,וְשׁוֹבָבand Ardon.וְאַרְדּוֹן

And Azubahוַ עֲזוּבָהdied,תָּמָתand Calebוַ כָלֵבtookיִּקַּחfor himselfלוֹEphrath,אֶת אֶפְרָתand she boreוַתֵּלֶדhimלוֹHur.אֶת חוּר

AndוְHurחוּרfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתUri,אוּרִיand Uriוְאוּרִיfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתBezalel.בְּצַלְאֵל

And afterwardוְאַחַרHezronחֶצְרוֹןwent inבָּאtoאֶלthe daughterבַּתof Machir,מָכִירthe fatherאֲבִיof Gilead;גִלְעָדand heוְהוּאtook herלְקָחָהּwhen heוְהוּאwassixtyבֶּן שִׁשִּׁיםyears old,שָׁנָהand she boreוַתֵּלֶדhimלוֹSegub.אֶת שְׂגוּב

AndוּSegubשְׂגוּבfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתJair,יָאִירand he hadוַיְהִי לוֹtwenty-threeעֶשְׂרִים וְשָׁלוֹשׁcitiesעָרִיםin the landבְּאֶרֶץof Gilead.הַגִּלְעָד

But Geshurוַ גְּשׁוּרand AramוַאֲרָםtookיִּקַּחHavvoth-jairאֶת חַוֺּת יָאִירfrom them,מֵאִתָּםKenathאֶת קְנָתand its towns,וְאֶת בְּנֹתֶיהָsixtyשִׁשִּׁיםcities.עִירAllכָּלtheseאֵלֶּהwerethe sonsבְּנֵיof Machir,מָכִירthe fatherאֲבִיof Gilead.גִלְעָד

And afterוְאַחַרthe deathמוֹתof Hezronחֶצְרוֹןin Caleb-ephrathah,בְּכָלֵב אֶפְרָתָהthe wifeוְאֵשֶׁתof Hezron,חֶצְרוֹןAbijah,אֲבִיָּהboreוַתֵּלֶדhimלוֹAshhur,אֶת אַשְׁחוּרthe fatherאֲבִיof Tekoa.תְקוֹעַ

And the sonsוַ בְנֵיof Jerahmeel,יְרַחְמְאֵלthe firstbornבְּכוֹרof Hezron,חֶצְרוֹןwere:יִּהְיוּRamרָםthe firstborn,הַבְּכוֹרBunah,וּבוּנָהOren,וָאֹרֶןOzem,וָאֹצֶםAhijah.אֲחִיָּה

And Jerahmeelוַ לִירַחְמְאֵלhadתְּהִיanotherאַחֶרֶתwife,אִשָּׁהand her nameוּשְׁמָהּwasAtarah;עֲטָרָהsheהִיאwasthe motherאֵםof Onam.אוֹנָם

And the sonsוַ בְנֵיof Ram,רָםthe firstbornבְּכוֹרof Jerahmeel,יְרַחְמְאֵלwere:יִּהְיוּMaaz,מַעַץJamin,וְיָמִיןand Eker.וָעֵקֶר

And the sonsוַ בְנֵיof Onamאוֹנָםwere:יִּהְיוּShammaiשַׁמַּיand Jada.וְיָדָעAnd the sonsוּבְנֵיof Shammai:שַׁמַּיNadabנָדָבand Abishur.וַאֲבִישׁוּר

And the nameוְשֵׁםof the wifeאֵשֶׁתof AbishurאֲבִישׁוּרwasAbihail,אֲבִיהָיִלand she boreוַתֵּלֶדhimלוֹAhbanאֶת אַחְבָּןand Molid.וְאֶת מוֹלִיד

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Nadab:נָדָבSeledסֶלֶדand Appaim;וְאַפָּיִםand Seledוַ סֶלֶדdiedיָּמָתwithoutלֹאsons.בָנִים

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Appaim:אַפַּיִםIshi.יִשְׁעִיAnd the sonsוּבְנֵיof Ishi:יִשְׁעִיSheshan.שֵׁשָׁןAnd the sonsוּבְנֵיof Sheshan:שֵׁשָׁןAhlai.אַחְלָי

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Jada,יָדָעthe brotherאֲחִיof Shammai:שַׁמַּיJetherיֶתֶרand Jonathan;וְיוֹנָתָןand Jetherוַ יֶתֶרdiedיָּמָתwithoutלֹאsons.בָנִים

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Jonathan:יוֹנָתָןPelethפֶּלֶתand Zaza.וְזָזָאTheseאֵלֶּהwereהָיוּthe sonsבְּנֵיof Jerahmeel.יְרַחְמְאֵל

And Sheshanוְ לְשֵׁשָׁןhadהָיָהnoלֹאsons,בָּנִיםonlyכִּי אִםdaughters;בָּנוֹתand Sheshanוּלְשֵׁשָׁןhadan Egyptianמִצְרִיslave,עֶבֶדand his nameוּשְׁמוֹwasJarha.יַרְחָע

And Sheshanוַ שֵׁשָׁןgaveיִּתֵּןhis daughterאֶת בִּתּוֹto Jarhaלְיַרְחָעhis slaveעַבְדּוֹas a wife,לְאִשָּׁהand she boreוַתֵּלֶדhimלוֹAttai.אֶת עַתָּי

AndוְAttaiעַתַּיfatheredהֹלִיד אֶתNathan,נָתָןand Nathanוְנָתָןfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתZabad.זָבָד

AndוְZabadזָבָדfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתEphlal,אֶפְלָלand Ephlalוְאֶפְלָלfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתObed.עוֹבֵד

AndוְObedעוֹבֵדfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתJehu,יֵהוּאand Jehuוְיֵהוּאfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתAzariah.עֲזַרְיָה

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Caleb,כָלֵבthe brotherאֲחִיof Jerahmeel:יְרַחְמְאֵלMeshaמֵישָׁעhis firstborn,בְּכֹרוֹwhoהוּאwasthe fatherאֲבִיof Ziph;זִיףand the sonsוּבְנֵיof Mareshah,מָרֵשָׁהthe fatherאֲבִיof Hebron.חֶבְרוֹן

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Hebron:חֶבְרוֹןKorah,קֹרַחTappuah,וְתַפֻּחַRekem,וְרֶקֶםand Shema.וָשָׁמַע

AndוְShemaשֶׁמַעfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתRaham,רַחַםthe fatherאֲבִיof Jorkeam;יָרְקֳעָםand Rekemוְרֶקֶםfatheredהוֹלִיד אֶתShammai.שַׁמָּי

And the sonוּבֶןof Shammai:שַׁמַּיMaon;מָעוֹןand Maonוּמָעוֹןwasthe fatherאֲבִיof Beth-zur.בֵית צוּר

And Ephah,וְעֵיפָהCaleb’sכָּלֵבconcubine,פִּילֶגֶשׁboreיָלְדָהHaran,אֶת חָרָןMoza,וְאֶת מוֹצָאand Gazez;וְאֶת גָּזֵזand Haranוְחָרָןfatheredהֹלִיד אֶתGazez.גָּזֵז

And the sonsוּבְנֵיof Jahdai:יָהְדָּיRegem,רֶגֶםJotham,וְיוֹתָםGeshan,וְגֵישָׁןPelet,וָפֶלֶטEphah,וְעֵיפָהand Shaaph.וָשָׁעַף

Maacah,מַעֲכָהCaleb’sכָּלֵבconcubine,פִּלֶגֶשׁboreיָלַדSheberשֶׁבֶרand Tirhanah.וְאֶת תִּרְחֲנָה

And Shobalוַ לְשׁוֹבָלthe fatherאֲבִיof Kiriath-jearimקִרְיַת יְעָרִיםhadיִּהְיוּsons:בָנִיםHaroeh,הָרֹאֶהhalfחֲצִיof the Menuhoth.הַמְּנֻחוֹת

And the familiesוּמִשְׁפְּחוֹתof Kiriath-jearim:קִרְיַת יְעָרִיםthe Ithrites,הַיִּתְרִיthe Puthites,וְהַפּוּתִיthe Shumathites,וְהַשֻּׁמָתִיand the Mishraites;וְהַמִּשְׁרָעִיfrom theseמֵאֵלֶּהcameיָצְאוּthe Zorathitesהַצָּרְעָתִיand the Eshtaolites.וְהָאֶשְׁתָּאֻלִי

The sonsבְּנֵיof Salma:שַׂלְמָאBethlehem,בֵּית לֶחֶםand the Netophathites,וּנְטוֹפָתִיAtroth-beth-joab,עַטְרוֹת בֵּית יוֹאָבand halfוַחֲצִיof the Manahathites,הַמָּנַחְתִּיthe Zorites.הַצָּרְעִי

And the familiesוּמִשְׁפְּחוֹתof the scribesסֹפְרִיםwho livedיֹשְׁבֵיinJabez:יַעְבֵּץthe Tirathites,תִּרְעָתִיםthe Shimeathites,שִׁמְעָתִיםthe Sucathites.שׂוּכָתִיםThese areהֵמָּהthe Kenitesהַקִּינִיםwho cameהַבָּאִיםfrom Hammath,מֵחַמַּתthe fatherאֲבִיof the houseבֵיתof Rechab.רֵכָב
