AndδὲPhilip,Φίλιπποςgoing downκατελθὼνtoεἰςthe cityτὴν πόλινof Samaria,τῆς Σαμαρείαςwas proclaimingἐκήρυσσενto themαὐτοῖςthe Messiah.τὸν χριστόν
Andδὲthe crowdsοἱ ὄχλοιwith one mindὁμοθυμαδὸνwere paying attentionπροσεῖχονto the thingsτοῖςsaidλεγομένοιςbyὑπὸPhilip,τοῦ Φιλίππουasἐν τῷtheyαὐτοὺςheardἀκούεινandκαὶsawβλέπεινthe signsτὰ σημεῖαthatἃhe was doing.ἐποίει
Forγὰρfrommanyπολλοὶof those who hadτῶν ἐχόντωνuncleanἀκάθαρταspirits,πνεύματαthe spiritswere coming out,ἐξήρχοντοcryingβοῶνταwith a loud voice;φωνῇ μεγάλῃandδὲmanyπολλοὶwho were paralyzedπαραλελυμένοιandκαὶlameχωλοὶwere healed.ἐθεραπεύθησαν

Andδὲthey were paying attentionπροσεῖχονto himαὐτῷbecauseδιὰ τὸfor a longἱκανῷtimeχρόνῳhe had amazedἐξεστακέναιthemαὐτούςwith his magic arts.ταῖς μαγείαις
Butδὲwhenὅτεthey believedἐπίστευσανPhilipτῷ Φιλίππῳas he announced the good newsεὐαγγελιζομένῳaboutπερὶthe kingdomτῆς βασιλείαςof Godτοῦ θεοῦandκαὶthe nameτοῦ ὀνόματοςof JesusἸησοῦthe Messiah,Χριστοῦthey were being immersed,ἐβαπτίζοντοbothτεmenἄνδρεςandκαὶwomen.γυναῖκες

saying,λέγων“GiveΔότεme alsoκἀμοὶthisταύτηνauthority,τὴν ἐξουσίανso thatἵναanyone on whomᾧ ἐὰνI layἐπιθῶmy handsτὰς χεῖραςmay receiveλαμβάνῃthe HolyἅγιονSpirit.”πνεῦμα

AndδὲPhilip,ὁ Φίλιπποςrunning up,προσδραμὼνheardἤκουσενhimαὐτοῦreadingἀναγινώσκοντοςIsaiahἨσαΐανthe prophet,τὸν προφήτηνandκαὶsaid,εἶπεν“Do you reallyἎρά γεunderstandγινώσκειςwhatἃyou are reading?”ἀναγινώσκεις

ThenδὲPhilipὁ Φίλιπποςopenedἀνοίξαςhis mouth,τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦandκαὶbeginningἀρξάμενοςfromἀπὸthisταύτηςScriptureτῆς γραφῆςhe announced the good news ofεὐηγγελίσατοJesusτὸν Ἰησοῦνto him.αὐτῷ
Andδὲasὡςthey were goingἐπορεύοντοalongκατὰthe road,τὴν ὁδόνthey cameἦλθονtoἐπίsomeτιwater;ὕδωρandκαίthe eunuchὁ εὐνοῦχοςsays,φησιν“Look,Ἰδοὺwater!ὕδωρWhatτίpreventsκωλύειmeμεfrom being immersed?”βαπτισθῆναι
And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered, “I believe that Jesus the Messiah is the Son of God.”
Andκαὶhe orderedἐκέλευσενthe chariotτὸ ἅρμαto stop,στῆναιandκαὶthey bothἀμφότεροιwent downκατέβησανintoεἰςthe water,τὸ ὕδωρbothτεPhilipὅ Φίλιπποςandκαὶthe eunuch,ὁ εὐνοῦχοςandκαὶhe immersedἐβάπτισενhim.αὐτόν
