You shall notלֹאseekתִדְרֹשׁtheir peaceשְׁלֹמָםor their goodוְטֹבָתָםallכָּלyour days,יָמֶיךָforever.לְעוֹלָם
You shall notלֹאabhorתְתַעֵבan Edomite,אֲדֹמִיforכִּיheהוּאis your brother;אָחִיךָyou shall notלֹאabhorתְתַעֵבan Egyptian,מִצְרִיforכִּיyou wereהָיִיתָa resident alienגֵרin his land.בְאַרְצוֹ
Sonsבָּנִיםwhoאֲשֶׁרare bornיִוָּלְדוּto themלָהֶםin the thirdשְׁלִישִׁיgenerationדּוֹרmay enter,יָבֹאfor their part,לָהֶםthe assemblyבִּקְהַלof YHWH.יְהוָה
Whenכִּיyou go outתֵצֵאas a campמַחֲנֶהagainst your enemies,עַל אֹיְבֶיךָyou shall guard yourselfוְנִשְׁמַרְתָּfrom everyמִכֹּלevilרָעthing.דָּבָר
Ifכִּיthere isיִהְיֶהamong youבְךָa manאִישׁwhoאֲשֶׁרis notלֹא יִהְיֶהcleanטָהוֹרbecause of what happenedמִקְּרֵהat night,לָיְלָהhe shall goוְיָצָאoutsideאֶל מִחוּץthe camp;לַמַּחֲנֶהhe shall notלֹאcomeיָבֹאinsideאֶל תּוֹךְthe camp.הַמַּחֲנֶה
Andוְהָיָהwhenלִeveningעֶרֶבcomes onפְנוֹתhe shall washיִרְחַץwith water,בַּמָּיִםand whenוּכְthe sunהַשֶּׁמֶשׁgoes downבֹאhe may comeיָבֹאinsideאֶל תּוֹךְthe camp.הַמַּחֲנֶה
You shall haveתִּהְיֶה לְךָa placeוְיָדoutsideמִחוּץthe camp,לַמַּחֲנֶהand you shall go outוְיָצָאתָthere,שָׁמָּהoutside.חוּץ
And you shall haveוְ תִּהְיֶה לְךָa pegיָתֵדamongעַלyour tools,אֲזֵנֶךָand whenוְהָיָה בְּyou sit downשִׁבְתְּךָoutside,חוּץyou shall digוְחָפַרְתָּהwith itבָהּand turn backוְשַׁבְתָּand coverוְכִסִּיתָyour excrement.אֶת צֵאָתֶךָ
ForכִּיYHWHיְהוָהyour Elohimאֱלֹהֶיךָwalksמִתְהַלֵּךְin the midstבְּקֶרֶבof your campמַחֲנֶךָto deliver youלְהַצִּילְךָand to giveוְלָתֵתyour enemiesאֹיְבֶיךָbefore you;לְפָנֶיךָso your campוְ מַחֲנֶיךָshall beהָיָהholy,קָדוֹשׁso that he may notוְלֹאseeיִרְאֶהamong youבְךָthe nakednessעֶרְוַתof anythingדָּבָרand turn awayוְשָׁבfrom you.מֵאַחֲרֶיךָ
You shall notלֹאhand overתַסְגִּירto his masterאֶל אֲדֹנָיוa slaveעֶבֶדwhoאֲשֶׁרhas escapedיִנָּצֵלto youאֵלֶיךָfromמֵעִםhis master.אֲדֹנָיו
With youעִמְּךָhe shall live,יֵשֵׁבin your midst,בְּקִרְבְּךָin the placeבַּמָּקוֹםthatאֲשֶׁרhe choosesיִבְחַרin oneבְּאַחַדof your gates,שְׁעָרֶיךָwhere it is goodבַּטּוֹבfor him;לוֹyou shall notלֹאmistreat him.תּוֹנֶנּוּ

You shall notלֹאbringתָבִיאthe wagesאֶתְנַןof a prostituteזוֹנָהor the priceוּמְחִירof a dogכֶּלֶבinto the houseבֵּיתof YHWHיְהוָהyour Elohimאֱלֹהֶיךָfor anyלְכָלvow,נֶדֶרforכִּיan abominationתוֹעֲבַתto YHWHיְהוָהyour Elohimאֱלֹהֶיךָare bothגַּם שְׁנֵיof them.הֶם
You shall notלֹאcharge interestתַשִּׁיךְto your brother,לְאָחִיךָinterestנֶשֶׁךְon silver,כֶּסֶףinterestנֶשֶׁךְon food,אֹכֶלinterestנֶשֶׁךְon anyכָּלthingדָּבָרthatאֲשֶׁרis lent at interest.יִשָּׁךְ
To the foreignerלַנָּכְרִיyou may charge interest,תַשִּׁיךְbut to your brotherוּלְאָחִיךָyou shall notלֹאcharge interest,תַשִּׁיךְso thatלְמַעַןYHWHיְהוָהyour Elohimאֱלֹהֶיךָmay bless youיְבָרֶכְךָin everyבְּכֹלundertakingמִשְׁלַחof your handיָדֶךָinעַלthe landהָאָרֶץthatאֲשֶׁרyouאַתָּהare going intoבָא שָׁמָּהto possessלְרִשְׁתָּit.הּ
Whenכִּיyou makeתִדֹּרa vowנֶדֶרto YHWHלַיהוָהyour Elohim,אֱלֹהֶיךָyou shall notלֹאdelayתְאַחֵרto pay it,לְשַׁלְּמוֹforכִּיYHWHיְהוָהyour Elohimאֱלֹהֶיךָwill surely require itדָּרֹשׁ יִדְרְשֶׁנּוּof you,מֵעִמָּךְand it will beוְהָיָהsinחֵטְאin you.בְךָ
But ifוְכִיyou refrainתֶחְדַּלfrom vowing,לִנְדֹּרit will notלֹאbeיִהְיֶהsinחֵטְאin you.בְךָ
What goes outמוֹצָאof your lipsשְׂפָתֶיךָyou shall keepתִּשְׁמֹרand do,וְעָשִׂיתָjust asכַּאֲשֶׁרyou have vowedנָדַרְתָּto YHWHלַיהוָהyour Elohimאֱלֹהֶיךָa freewill offeringנְדָבָהthatאֲשֶׁרyou have spokenדִּבַּרְתָּwith your mouth.בְּפִיךָ
Whenכִּיyou goתָבֹאinto the vineyardבְּכֶרֶםof your neighbor,רֵעֶךָyou may eatוְאָכַלְתָּgrapesעֲנָבִיםas your soul desires,כְּנַפְשְׁךָuntil you are full,שָׂבְעֶךָbut intoוְאֶלyour containerכֶּלְיְךָyou shall notלֹאput any.תִתֵּן
Whenכִּיyou goתָבֹאinto the standing grainבְּקָמַתof your neighbor,רֵעֶךָyou may pluckוְקָטַפְתָּearsמְלִילֹתwith your hand,בְּיָדֶךָbut a sickleוְחֶרְמֵשׁyou shall notלֹאswingתָנִיףoverעַלthe standing grainקָמַתof your neighbor.רֵעֶךָ
