AndוַYHWHיְהוָהspokeיְדַבֵּרto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהsaying,לֵּאמֹר
“See,רְאֵהI have calledקָרָאתִיby nameבְשֵׁםBezalelבְּצַלְאֵלsonבֶּןof Uri,אוּרִיsonבֶןof Hur,חוּרof the tribeלְמַטֵּהof Judah,יְהוּדָה
and I have filledוָאֲמַלֵּאhimאֹתוֹwith the spiritרוּחַof Elohim,אֱלֹהִיםwith wisdom,בְּחָכְמָהand with understanding,וּבִתְבוּנָהand with knowledge,וּבְדַעַתand with all kinds ofוּבְכָלwork,מְלָאכָה
to deviseלַחְשֹׁבdesigns,מַחֲשָׁבֹתto workלַעֲשׂוֹתin gold,בַּזָּהָבand in silver,וּבַכֶּסֶףand in bronze,וּבַנְּחֹשֶׁת
and in cuttingוּבַחֲרֹשֶׁתstonesאֶבֶןfor setting,לְמַלֹּאתand in carvingוּבַחֲרֹשֶׁתwood,עֵץto workלַעֲשׂוֹתin all kinds ofבְּכָלwork.מְלָאכָה
And I,וַאֲנִיlook,הִנֵּהhave appointedנָתַתִּיwith himאִתּוֹOholiabאֵת אָהֳלִיאָבsonבֶּןof Ahisamach,אֲחִיסָמָךְof the tribeלְמַטֵּהof Dan;דָןand in the heartוּבְלֵבof allכָּלthe wiseחֲכַםof heartלֵבI have putנָתַתִּיwisdom,חָכְמָהso that they makeוְעָשׂוּallאֵת כָּלthatאֲשֶׁרI have commandedצִוִּיתִyou:ךָ
the tentאֵת אֹהֶלof meeting,מוֹעֵדand the arkוְאֶת הָאָרֹןof the testimony,לָעֵדֻתand the cover of expiationוְאֶת הַכַּפֹּרֶתthat isאֲשֶׁרon it,עָלָיוand allוְאֵת כָּלthe utensilsכְּלֵיof the tent;הָאֹהֶל
and the tableוְאֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָןand its utensils,וְאֶת כֵּלָיוand the pureהַטְּהֹרָהlampstandוְאֶת הַמְּנֹרָהand allוְאֶת כָּלits utensils,כֵּלֶיהָand the altarוְאֵת מִזְבַּחof incense,הַקְּטֹרֶת
and the altarוְאֶת מִזְבַּחof burnt offeringהָעֹלָהand allוְאֶת כָּלits utensils,כֵּלָיוand the basinוְאֶת הַכִּיּוֹרand its stand;וְאֶת כַּנּוֹ
and the wovenוְ הַשְּׂרָדgarments,אֵת בִּגְדֵיand the holyהַקֹּדֶשׁgarmentsוְאֶת בִּגְדֵיfor Aaronלְאַהֲרֹןthe priest,הַכֹּהֵןand the garmentsוְאֶת בִּגְדֵיof his sonsבָנָיוto serve as priests;לְכַהֵן
and the anointingהַמִּשְׁחָהoilוְאֵת שֶׁמֶןand the fragrantהַסַּמִּיםincenseוְאֶת קְטֹרֶתfor the Holy Place.לַקֹּדֶשׁAccording to allכְּכֹלthatאֲשֶׁרI have commandedצִוִּיתִyouךָthey shall do.”יַעֲשׂוּ
AndוַYHWHיְהוָהsaidיֹּאמֶרto Moses:אֶל מֹשֶׁה
“And you,וְאַתָּהspeakדַּבֵּרto the sonsאֶל בְּנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלsaying,לֵאמֹר‘Surelyאַךְyou shall keepתִּשְׁמֹרוּmy Sabbaths,אֶת שַׁבְּתֹתַיforכִּיit isהִואa signאוֹתbetween meבֵּינִיand youוּבֵינֵיכֶםthroughout your generations,לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶםso that you knowלָדַעַתthatכִּיIאֲנִיam YHWHיְהוָהwho sanctifiesמְקַדִּשְׁyou.כֶם
You shall keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּםthe Sabbath,אֶת הַשַּׁבָּתforכִּיit isהִואholyקֹדֶשׁto you.לָכֶםWhoever profanesמְחַלְלֶיitהָshall surelyמוֹתbe put to death;יוּמָתforכִּיwhoeverכָּל הָdoesעֹשֶׂהworkמְלָאכָהon it,בָהּthatהַהִואpersonהַנֶּפֶשׁshall be cut offוְנִכְרְתָהfrom amongמִקֶּרֶבhis people.עַמֶּיהָ
For sixשֵׁשֶׁתdaysיָמִיםworkמְלָאכָהshall be done,יֵעָשֶׂהbut on the seventh dayוּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִיis a Sabbathשַׁבַּתof solemn rest,שַׁבָּתוֹןholyקֹדֶשׁto YHWH.לַיהוָהWhoeverכָּל הָdoesעֹשֶׂהworkמְלָאכָהon the Sabbathבְּ הַשַּׁבָּתdayיוֹםshall surelyמוֹתbe put to death.יוּמָת
Andוְthe sonsבְנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלshall keepשָׁמְרוּthe Sabbath,אֶת הַשַּׁבָּתobservingלַעֲשׂוֹתthe Sabbathאֶת הַשַּׁבָּתthroughout their generationsלְדֹרֹתָםas an eternalעוֹלָםcovenant.בְּרִית
Between meבֵּינִיand the sonsוּבֵין בְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלit isהִואa signאוֹתforever;לְעֹלָםforכִּיin sixשֵׁשֶׁתdaysיָמִיםYHWHיְהוָהmadeעָשָׂהthe heavensאֶת הַשָּׁמַיִםand the earth,וְאֶת הָאָרֶץand on the seventh dayוּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִיhe ceasedשָׁבַתand caught his breath.’”וַיִּנָּפַשׁ
And he gaveוַיִּתֵּןto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהwhen he finishedכְּכַלֹּתוֹspeakingלְדַבֵּרwith himאִתּוֹon MountבְּהַרSinai,סִינַיthe twoשְׁנֵיtabletsלֻחֹתof the testimony,הָעֵדֻתtabletsלֻחֹתof stone,אֶבֶןwrittenכְּתֻבִיםwith the fingerבְּאֶצְבַּעof Elohim.אֱלֹהִים
