a ministerλειτουργὸςof the holy placeτῶν ἁγίωνandκαὶof the trueτῆς ἀληθινῆςtent,τῆς σκηνῆςwhichἣνthe Lordὁ κύριοςpitched,ἔπηξενnotοὐκa human being.ἄνθρωπος
Forγὰρeveryπᾶςhigh priestἀρχιερεὺςis appointedκαθίσταταιtoεἰς τὸofferπροσφέρεινgiftsδῶράandτε καὶsacrifices;θυσίαςthereforeὅθενit isnecessaryἀναγκαῖονfor this oneτοῦτονalsoκαὶto haveἔχεινsomethingτιthatὃhe may offer.προσενέγκῃ
Soοὖνifεἰhe wereἦνonἐπὶearth,γῆςhe would not evenοὐδ’ ἂνbeἦνa priest,ἱερεύςsince there areὄντωνthose who offerτῶν προσφερόντωνthe giftsτὰ δῶραaccording toκατὰthe law;νόμον
theyοἵτινεςworshipλατρεύουσινin a copyὑποδείγματιandκαὶshadowσκιᾷof the heavenly things,τῶν ἐπουρανίωνjust asκαθὼςMosesΜωϋσῆςwas warnedκεχρημάτισταιwhen he was aboutμέλλωνto completeἐπιτελεῖνthe tent:τὴν σκηνήνSee,Ὅραhe says,φησίνthat you makeποιήσειςeverythingπάνταaccording toκατὰthe patternτὸν τύπονthat was shownτὸν δειχθένταto youσοιonἐνthe mountain.τῷ ὄρει
Butδὲnowνυνὶhe has obtainedτέτυχενa more excellentδιαφορωτέραςministry,λειτουργίαςas much asὅσῳhe isἐστινalsoκαὶthe mediatorμεσίτηςof a betterκρείττονόςcovenant,διαθήκηςwhichἥτιςhas been enactedνενομοθέτηταιonἐπὶbetterκρείττοσινpromises.ἐπαγγελίαις
ForγὰρifΕἰthatἐκείνηfirst covenantἡ πρώτηhad beenἦνfaultless,ἄμεμπτοςthere would have been noοὐκ ἂνplaceτόποςsoughtἐζητεῖτοfor a second.δευτέρας
Forγὰρfinding fault withμεμφόμενοςthem,αὐτοὺςhe says:λέγειLook,Ἰδοὺdaysἡμέραιare coming,ἔρχονταιsaysλέγειthe Lord,κύριοςwhenκαὶI will establishσυντελέσωwithἐπὶthe houseτὸν οἶκονof IsraelἸσραὴλandκαὶwithἐπὶthe houseτὸν οἶκονof JudahἸούδαa newκαινήνcovenant,διαθήκην
notοὐlikeκατὰthe covenantτὴν διαθήκηνthatἣνI madeἐποίησαwith their fathersτοῖς πατράσιν αὐτῶνonἐνthe dayἡμέρᾳI tookἐπιλαβομένου μουthemαὐτῶνby the handτῆς χειρὸςto leadἐξαγαγεῖνthemαὐτοὺςout ofἐκthe landγῆςof Egypt;Αἰγύπτουbecauseὅτιtheyαὐτοὶdid notοὐκcontinueἐνέμεινανinἐνmy covenant,τῇ διαθήκῃ μουand Iκἀγὼdisregardedἠμέλησαthem,αὐτῶνsaysλέγειthe Lord.κύριος
Forὅτιthisαὕτηisthe covenantἡ διαθήκηthatἣνI will makeδιαθήσομαιwith the houseτῷ οἴκῳof IsraelἸσραὴλafterμετὰthose days,τὰς ἡμέρας ἐκείναςsaysλέγειthe Lord:κύριοςputtingδιδοὺςmy lawsνόμους μουintoεἰςtheir mind,τὴν διάνοιαν αὐτῶνI will alsoκαὶwriteἐπιγράψωthemαὐτούςonἐπὶtheir hearts;καρδίας αὐτῶνandκαὶI will beἔσομαιGodεἰς θεόνto them,αὐτοῖςandκαὶtheyαὐτοὶwill beἔσονταίa peopleεἰς λαόνto me.μοι
Andκαὶthey will neverοὐ μὴteach,διδάξωσινeachἕκαστοςhis fellow citizenτὸν πολίτην αὐτοῦandκαὶeachἕκαστοςhis brother,τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦsaying,λέγωνKnowΓνῶθιthe Lord,τὸν κύριονbecauseὅτιallπάντεςwill knowεἰδήσουσίνme,μεfromἀπὸthe leastμικροῦtoἕωςthe greatestμεγάλουof them.αὐτῶν
ForὅτιI will beἔσομαιmercifulἵλεωςtoward their unrighteous deeds,ταῖς ἀδικίαις αὐτῶνandκαὶtheir sinsτῶν ἁμαρτιῶν αὐτῶνI will neverοὐ μὴrememberμνησθῶanymore.ἔτι
Inἐνspeaking ofτῷ λέγεινa new one,Καινὴνhe has madeπεπαλαίωκενthe first oneτὴν πρώτηνold;πεπαλαίωκενandδὲwhatτὸis becoming oldπαλαιούμενονandκαὶgrowing agedγηράσκονisnearἐγγὺςto disappearing.ἀφανισμοῦ
