Butδὲifεἰour unrighteousnessἡ ἀδικία ἡμῶνshowsσυνίστησινthe righteousnessδικαιοσύνηνof God,θεοῦwhatτίshall we say?ἐροῦμενGod,ὁ θεὸςwhoὁinflictsἐπιφέρωνwrath,τὴν ὀργήνis notμὴunrighteous,ἄδικοςis he?(I speakλέγωin a human way.)κατὰ ἄνθρωπον
By no means!μὴ γένοιτοOtherwise,ἐπεὶhowπῶςwill Godὁ θεὸςjudgeκρινεῖthe world?τὸν κόσμον
Butδὲifεἰthroughἐνmy lieτῷ ἐμῷ ψεύσματιthe truthἡ ἀλήθειαof Godτοῦ θεοῦaboundedἐπερίσσευσενtoεἰςhis glory,τὴν δόξαν αὐτοῦwhyτίam Iκἀγὼstillἔτιbeing judgedκρίνομαιasὡςa sinner?ἁμαρτωλὸς
Andκαὶwhynotμὴsay,asκαθὼςwe are slanderedβλασφημούμεθαandκαὶasκαθώςsomeτινεςclaimφασίνthat weἡμᾶςsay,λέγεινLet us doΠοιήσωμενevilτὰ κακὰso thatἵναgoodτὰ ἀγαθάmay come?ἔλθῃTheirὧνcondemnationτὸ κρίμαisἐστινjust.ἔνδικόν

An openἀνεῳγμένοςgraveτάφοςistheir throat;ὁ λάρυγξ αὐτῶνwith their tonguesταῖς γλώσσαις αὐτῶνthey deceive;ἐδολιοῦσανthe venomἰὸςof aspsἀσπίδωνisunderὑπὸtheir lips;τὰ χείλη αὐτῶν
whoseὧνmouthτὸ στόμαis fullγέμειof cursingἀρᾶςandκαὶbitterness;πικρίας
their feetοἱ πόδες αὐτῶνareswiftὀξεῖςto shedἐκχέαιblood;αἷμα
ruinσύντριμμαandκαὶmiseryταλαιπωρίαareinἐνtheir paths,ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν
andκαὶthe wayὁδὸνof peaceεἰρήνηςthey have notοὐκknown;ἔγνωσαν
there isἔστινnoοὐκfearφόβοςof Godθεοῦbeforeἀπέναντιtheir eyes.τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτῶν
Nowδὲwe knowΟἴδαμενthatὅτιwhateverὅσαthe lawὁ νόμοςsays,λέγειit speaksλαλεῖto thoseτοῖςunderἐνthe law,τῷ νόμῳso thatἵναeveryπᾶνmouthστόμαmay be stoppedφραγῇandκαὶthe wholeπᾶςworldὁ κόσμοςmay becomeγένηταιaccountableὑπόδικοςto God;τῷ θεῷ
