Soοὖνthey stayedδιέτριψανa longἱκανὸνtime,χρόνονspeaking boldlyπαρρησιαζόμενοιin reliance onἐπὶthe Lord,τῷ κυρίῳwhoτῷwas testifyingμαρτυροῦντιto the wordτῷ λόγῳof his grace,τῆς χάριτος αὐτοῦgrantingδιδόντιsignsσημεῖαandκαὶwondersτέραταto be doneγίνεσθαιthroughδιὰtheir hands.τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν
Butδὲthe multitudeτὸ πλῆθοςof the cityτῆς πόλεωςwas divided,ἐσχίσθηandκαὶsomeοἱ μὲνwereἦσανwithσὺνthe Jews,τοῖς Ἰουδαίοιςandδὲothersοἱwithσὺνthe apostles.τοῖς ἀποστόλοις
Andδὲwhenὡςthere wasἐγένετοan attemptὁρμὴby bothτεthe nationsτῶν ἐθνῶνandκαὶthe Jews,Ἰουδαίωνwithσὺνtheir rulers,τοῖς ἄρχουσιν αὐτῶνto abuseὑβρίσαιandκαὶstoneλιθοβολῆσαιthem,αὐτούς
they learned of itσυνιδόντεςand fledκατέφυγονtoεἰςthe citiesτὰς πόλειςof Lycaonia,τῆς ΛυκαονίαςLystraΛύστρανandκαὶDerbe,Δέρβηνandκαὶthe surrounding region;τὴν περίχωρον
and thereκἀκεῖthey wereἦσανannouncing the good news.εὐαγγελιζόμενοι
AndΚαίinἐνLystraΛύστροιςa certainτιςmanἀνὴρwas sitting,ἐκάθητοwithout strengthἀδύνατοςin his feet,τοῖς ποσὶνlameχωλὸςfromἐκhis mother’sμητρὸς αὐτοῦwomb,κοιλίαςwhoὃςhad neverοὐδέποτεwalked.περιεπάτησεν
This manοὗτοςheardἤκουσενPaulτοῦ Παύλουspeaking;λαλοῦντοςand he,ὃςstaringἀτενίσαςat himαὐτῷandκαὶseeingἰδὼνthatὅτιhe hadἔχειfaithπίστινto be healed,τοῦ σωθῆναι
saidεἶπενwith a loudμεγάλῃvoice,φωνῇ“Stand upἈνάστηθιstraightὀρθόςonἐπὶyour feet.”τοὺς πόδας σουAndκαὶhe leaped upἥλατοandκαὶwas walking.περιεπάτει
Andτεthe crowds,οἵ ὄχλοιseeingἰδόντεςwhatὃPaulΠαῦλοςhad done,ἐποίησενlifted upἐπῆρανtheir voice,τὴν φωνὴν αὐτῶνsayingλέγοντεςin Lycaonian,Λυκαονιστὶ“The godsΟἱ θεοὶhave become likeὁμοιωθέντεςmenἀνθρώποιςand have come downκατέβησανtoπρὸςus.”ἡμᾶς

Butδὲwhen the apostlesοἱ ἀπόστολοιBarnabasΒαρναβᾶςandκαὶPaulΠαῦλοςheard of it,ἀκούσαντεςthey toreδιαρρήξαντεςtheir garmentsτὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶνand rushed outἐξεπήδησανintoεἰςthe crowd,τὸν ὄχλονcrying outκράζοντες
andκαὶsaying,λέγοντες“Men,Ἄνδρεςwhyτίare you doingποιεῖτεthese things?ταῦταWeἡμεῖςalsoκαὶareἐσμενmenἄνθρωποιof the same natureὁμοιοπαθεῖςas you,ὑμῖνannouncing the good newsεὐαγγελιζόμενοιto you,ὑμᾶςthat you should turnἐπιστρέφεινfromἀπὸtheseτούτωνworthless thingsτῶν ματαίωνtoἐπὶa livingζῶνταGod,θεὸνwhoὃςmadeἐποίησενthe heavenτὸν οὐρανὸνandκαὶthe earthτὴν γῆνandκαὶthe seaτὴν θάλασσανandκαὶallπάνταthatτὰisinἐνthem;αὐτοῖς
whoὃςinἐνthe pastταῖς παρῳχημέναιςgenerationsγενεαῖςallowedεἴασενallπάνταthe nationsτὰ ἔθνηto goπορεύεσθαιtheir ways;ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν
and yetκαίτοιhe did notοὐκleaveἀφῆκενhimselfαὑτὸνwithout testimony,ἀμάρτυρονdoing good,ἀγαθουργῶνgivingδιδοὺςyouὑμῖνrainsὑετοὺςfrom heavenοὐρανόθενandκαὶfruitfulκαρποφόρουςseasons,καιροὺςfillingἐμπιπλῶνyour heartsτὰς καρδίας ὑμῶνwith foodτροφῆςandκαὶgladness.”εὐφροσύνης

ButδὲJewsἸουδαῖοιcameἘπῆλθανfromἀπὸAntiochἈντιοχείαςandκαὶIconium,Ἰκονίουandκαὶhaving won overπείσαντεςthe crowdsτοὺς ὄχλουςandκαὶstonedλιθάσαντεςPaul,τὸν Παῦλονthey dragged himἔσυρονoutsideἔξωthe city,τῆς πόλεωςthinkingνομίζοντεςthat heαὐτὸνhad died.τεθνηκέναι
Butδὲwhen the disciplesτῶν μαθητῶνhad gathered aroundκυκλωσάντωνhim,αὐτὸνhe got upἀναστὰςand enteredεἰσῆλθενintoεἰςthe city.τὴν πόλινAndκαὶon the next dayτῇ ἐπαύριονhe went outἐξῆλθενwithσὺνBarnabasτῷ ΒαρναβᾷtoεἰςDerbe.Δέρβην
Andτεafter announcing the good news inΕὐαγγελισάμενοίthatἐκείνηνcityτὴν πόλινandκαὶmaking disciples ofμαθητεύσαντεςmany,ἱκανοὺςthey returnedὑπέστρεψανtoεἰςLystraτὴν ΛύστρανandκαὶtoεἰςIconiumἸκόνιονandκαὶtoεἰςAntioch,Ἀντιόχειαν
strengtheningἐπιστηρίζοντεςthe soulsτὰς ψυχὰςof the disciples,τῶν μαθητῶνencouraging themπαρακαλοῦντεςto remain inἐμμένεινthe faith,τῇ πίστειandκαὶsayingthatὅτιthroughδιὰmanyπολλῶνafflictionsθλίψεωνweἡμᾶςmustδεῖenterεἰσελθεῖνintoεἰςthe kingdomτὴν βασιλείανof God.τοῦ θεοῦ

Andκαὶafter speakingλαλήσαντεςthe wordτὸν λόγονinἐνPerga,Πέργῃthey went downκατέβησανtoεἰςAttalia.Ἀττάλειαν
And from thereκἀκεῖθενthey sailedἀπέπλευσανtoεἰςAntioch,Ἀντιόχειανfrom whereὅθενthey had beenἦσανcommittedπαραδεδομένοιto the graceτῇ χάριτιof Godτοῦ θεοῦforεἰςthe workτὸ ἔργονthatὃthey had completed.ἐπλήρωσαν
