Butδὲwhen the Jewsοἱ Ἰουδαῖοιsawἰδόντεςthe crowds,τοὺς ὄχλουςthey were filledἐπλήσθησανwith jealousyζήλουandκαὶwere contradictingἀντέλεγονthe thingsτοῖςspokenλαλουμένοιςbyὑπὸPaul,Παύλουblaspheming.βλασφημοῦντες
AndτεPaulὁ ΠαῦλοςandκαὶBarnabasὁ Βαρναβᾶςspoke boldlyπαρρησιασάμενοίand said,εἶπαν“It wasἦνnecessaryἀναγκαῖονthat the wordτὸν λόγονof Godτοῦ θεοῦbe spokenλαληθῆναιfirstπρῶτονto you.ὙμῖνSinceἐπειδὴyou rejectἀπωθεῖσθεitαὐτὸνandκαὶjudgeκρίνετεyourselvesἑαυτοὺςnotοὐκworthyἀξίουςof eternalτῆς αἰωνίουlife,ζωῆςlook,ἰδοὺwe are turningστρεφόμεθαtoεἰςthe nations.τὰ ἔθνη
Forγὰρsoοὕτωςthe Lordὁ κύριοςhas commandedἐντέταλταιus:ἡμῖν‘I have setΤέθεικάyouσεasεἰςa lightφῶςfor the nations,ἐθνῶνthat youτοῦ σεmay beεἶναίforεἰςsalvationσωτηρίανtoἕωςthe endἐσχάτουof the earth.’”τῆς γῆς
