having wiped outἐξαλείψαςthe certificate of debtτὸ χειρόγραφονagainstκαθ’usἡμῶνwith its decrees,τοῖς δόγμασινwhichὃwasἦνopposedὑπεναντίονto us;ἡμῖνandκαὶhe has takenἦρκενitαὐτὸout ofἐκthe way,τοῦ μέσουnailingπροσηλώσαςitαὐτὸto the cross.τῷ σταυρῷ
Having strippedἀπεκδυσάμενοςthe principalitiesτὰς ἀρχὰςandκαὶthe authorities,τὰς ἐξουσίαςhe exposed themἐδειγμάτισενopenly,ἐν παρρησίᾳtriumphing overθριαμβεύσαςthemαὐτοὺςinἐνit.αὐτῷ
Soοὖνlet noΜὴoneτιςjudgeκρινέτωyouὑμᾶςinἐνeatingβρώσειorἢinἐνdrinking,πόσειorἢinἐνthe matterμέρειof a festivalἑορτῆςorἢa new moonνουμηνίαςorἢSabbaths,σαββάτων
whichἅareἐστινa shadowσκιὰof the thingsτῶνto come,μελλόντωνbutδὲthe bodyτὸ σῶμαbelongs to the Messiah.τοῦ Χριστοῦ
Let no oneμηδεὶςdisqualifyκαταβραβευέτωyou,ὑμᾶςdelightingθέλωνinἐνhumilityταπεινοφροσύνῃandκαὶthe worshipθρησκείᾳof angels,τῶν ἀγγέλωνentering intoἐμβατεύωνwhatἃhe has seen,ἑόρακενpuffed upφυσιούμενοςwithout reasonεἰκῇbyὑπὸthe mindτοῦ νοὸςof his flesh,τῆς σαρκὸς αὐτοῦ

IfΕἰyou diedἀπεθάνετεwithσὺνthe MessiahΧριστῷtoἀπὸthe elementsτῶν στοιχείωνof the world,τοῦ κόσμουwhy,τίas ifὡςlivingζῶντεςinἐνthe world,κόσμῳdo you submit to decrees,δογματίζεσθε
“Do notΜὴhandle,ἅψῃnorμηδὲtaste,γεύσῃnorμηδὲtouch”θίγῃς

Such thingsἅτινάhave,ἐστιν ἔχονταindeed,μὲνa reputationλόγονfor wisdomσοφίαςinἐνself-made religionἐθελοθρησκίᾳandκαὶhumilityταπεινοφροσύνῃandκαὶharsh treatmentἀφειδίᾳof the body,σώματοςbut they are notοὐκofἐνanyτινιvalueτιμῇagainstπρὸςthe indulgenceπλησμονὴνof the flesh.τῆς σαρκός
