Andκαὶthe courtτὴν αὐλὴνoutsideτὴν ἔξωθενthe sanctuary,τοῦ ναοῦleave itἔκβαλεout,ἔξωθενandκαὶdo notμὴmeasureμετρήσῃςit,αὐτὴνforὅτιit has been givenἐδόθηto the nations,τοῖς ἔθνεσινandκαὶthey will trampleπατήσουσινthe holyτὴν ἁγίανcityτὴν πόλινfor forty-twoτεσσεράκοντα δύοmonths.μῆνας
AndκαὶI will grantδώσωto my twoτοῖς δυσὶν μουwitnessesμάρτυσίνthatκαὶthey will prophesyπροφητεύσουσινfor one thousandχιλίαςtwo hundredδιακοσίαςsixtyἑξήκονταdays,ἡμέραςclothedπεριβεβλημένοιin sackcloth.”σάκκους
TheseΟὗτοίareεἰσινthe twoαἱ δύοolive treesἐλαῖαιandκαὶthe twoαἱ δύοlampstandsλυχνίαιthatαἱstandἑστῶτεςbeforeἐνώπιονthe Lordτοῦ κυρίουof the earth.τῆς γῆς
Andκαὶifεἴanyoneτιςwantsθέλειto harmἀδικῆσαιthem,αὐτοὺςfireπῦρcomes outἐκπορεύεταιofἐκtheir mouthτοῦ στόματος αὐτῶνandκαὶdevoursκατεσθίειtheir enemies;τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτῶνandκαὶifεἴanyoneτιςwantsθελήσῃto harmἀδικῆσαιthem,αὐτοὺςin this wayοὕτωςhe mustδεῖ αὐτὸνbe killed.ἀποκτανθῆναι
Theseοὗτοιhaveἔχουσινthe authorityτὴν ἐξουσίανto shutκλεῖσαιthe sky,τὸν οὐρανόνso thatἵναnoμὴrainὑετὸςmay fallβρέχῃduring the daysτὰς ἡμέραςof their prophesying;τῆς προφητείας αὐτῶνandκαὶthey haveἔχουσινauthorityἐξουσίανoverἐπὶthe watersτῶν ὑδάτωνto turnστρέφεινthemαὐτὰintoεἰςblood,αἷμαandκαὶto strikeπατάξαιthe earthτὴν γῆνwithἐνeveryπάσῃplague,πληγῇas often asὁσάκις ἐὰνthey want.θελήσωσιν
AndΚαὶwhenὅτανthey have finishedτελέσωσινtheir testimony,τὴν μαρτυρίαν αὐτῶνthe beastτὸ θηρίονthatτὸcomes upἀναβαῖνονout ofἐκthe abyssτῆς ἀβύσσουwill makeποιήσειwarπόλεμονagainstμετ’themαὐτῶνandκαὶconquerνικήσειthemαὐτοὺςandκαὶkillἀποκτενεῖthem.αὐτούς
Andκαὶtheir corpseτὸ πτῶμα αὐτῶνwill lieinἐπὶthe streetτῆς πλατείαςof the greatτῆς μεγάληςcity,τῆς πόλεωςwhichἥτιςis calledκαλεῖταιspirituallyπνευματικῶςSodomΣόδομαandκαὶEgypt,Αἴγυπτοςwhereὅπουalsoκαὶtheir Lordὁ κύριος αὐτῶνwas crucified.ἐσταυρώθη
Andκαὶpeoplefromἐκthe peoplesτῶν λαῶνandκαὶtribesφυλῶνandκαὶlanguagesγλωσσῶνandκαὶnationsἐθνῶνlook atβλέπουσινtheir corpseτὸ πτῶμα αὐτῶνfor threeτρεῖςandκαὶa halfἥμισυdays,ἡμέραςandκαὶthey do notοὐκallowἀφίουσινtheir corpsesτὰ πτώματα αὐτῶνto be placedτεθῆναιinεἰςa tomb.μνῆμα
Andκαὶthose who liveοἱ κατοικοῦντεςonἐπὶthe earthτῆς γῆςrejoiceχαίρουσινoverἐπ’themαὐτοῖςandκαὶcelebrate,εὐφραίνονταιandκαὶthey will sendπέμψουσινgiftsδῶραto one another,ἀλλήλοιςbecauseὅτιtheseοὗτοιtwoοἱ δύοprophetsπροφῆταιtormentedἐβασάνισανthose who liveτοὺς κατοικοῦνταςonἐπὶthe earth.τῆς γῆς
AndΚαὶafterμετὰthe threeτὰς τρεῖςandκαὶa halfἥμισυdaysἡμέραςa spiritπνεῦμαof lifeζωῆςfromἐκGodτοῦ θεοῦenteredεἰσῆλθενintoἐνthem,αὐτοῖςandκαὶthey stoodἔστησανonἐπὶtheir feet,τοὺς πόδας αὐτῶνandκαὶgreatμέγαςfearφόβοςfellἐπέπεσενonἐπὶthose who were watchingτοὺς θεωροῦνταςthem.αὐτούς
Andκαὶthey heardἤκουσανa loudμεγάληςvoiceφωνῆςfromἐκheavenτοῦ οὐρανοῦsayingλεγούσηςto them,αὐτοῖς“Come upἈνάβατεhere!”ὧδεAndκαὶthey went upἀνέβησανintoεἰςheavenτὸν οὐρανὸνinἐνthe cloud,τῇ νεφέλῃandκαὶtheir enemiesοἱ ἐχθροὶ αὐτῶνwatchedἐθεώρησανthem.αὐτοὺς
Andκαὶinἐνthatἐκείνῃhourτῇ ὥρᾳthere wasἐγένετοa greatμέγαςearthquake,σεισμὸςandκαὶa tenthτὸ δέκατονof the cityτῆς πόλεωςfell,ἔπεσενandκαὶsevenἑπτάthousandχιλιάδεςpeopleὀνόματα ἀνθρώπωνwere killedἀπεκτάνθησανinἐνthe earthquake,τῷ σεισμῷandκαὶthe restοἱ λοιποὶbecameἐγένοντοterrifiedἔμφοβοιandκαὶgaveἔδωκανgloryδόξανto the Godτῷ θεῷof heaven.τοῦ οὐρανοῦ
The secondἩ ἡ δευτέραwoeοὐαὶhas passed;ἀπῆλθενlook,ἰδοὺthe thirdἡ ἡ τρίτηwoeοὐαὶis comingἔρχεταιsoon.ταχύ
AndΚαὶthe seventhὁ ἕβδομοςangelἄγγελοςblew his trumpet,ἐσάλπισενandκαὶthere wereἐγένοντοloudμεγάλαιvoicesφωναὶinἐνheaven,τῷ οὐρανῷsaying,λέγοντες“The kingdomἡ βασιλείαof the worldτοῦ κόσμουhas becomeἘγένετοthe kingdomof our Lordτοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶνandκαὶof his Messiah,τοῦ χριστοῦ αὐτοῦandκαὶhe will reignβασιλεύσειtoεἰςthe agesτοὺς αἰῶναςof the ages.”τῶν αἰώνων
AndΚαὶthe twenty-fourοἱ εἴκοσι τέσσαρεςeldersπρεσβύτεροιwhoοἱsitκαθήμενοιbeforeἐνώπιονGodτοῦ θεοῦonἐπὶtheir thronesτοὺς θρόνους αὐτῶνfellἔπεσανonἐπὶtheir facesτὰ πρόσωπα αὐτῶνandκαὶworshipedπροσεκύνησανGod,τῷ θεῷ
saying,λέγοντες“We give thanksΕὐχαριστοῦμένto you,σοιLordκύριεGodὁ θεόςthe Almighty,ὁ παντοκράτωρwho isὁ ὢνandκαὶwho was,ὁ ἦνforὅτιyou have takenεἴληφαςyour greatτὴν σου τὴν μεγάληνpowerδύναμίνandκαὶbegun to reign.ἐβασίλευσας
Andκαὶthe nationsτὰ ἔθνηraged,ὠργίσθησανandκαὶyour wrathἡ ὀργή σουcame,ἦλθενandκαὶthe timeὁ καιρὸςfor the deadτῶν νεκρῶνto be judged,κριθῆναιandκαὶto giveδοῦναιthe rewardτὸν μισθὸνto your slavesτοῖς δούλοις σουthe prophetsτοῖς προφήταιςandκαὶto the saintsτοῖς ἁγίοιςandκαὶto those who fearτοῖς φοβουμένοιςyour name,τὸ ὄνομά σουthe smallτοὺς μικροὺςandκαὶthe great,τοὺς μεγάλουςandκαὶto destroyδιαφθεῖραιthose who destroyτοὺς διαφθείρονταςthe earth.”τὴν γῆν
AndΚαὶthe sanctuaryὁ ναὸςof Godτοῦ θεοῦthat isὁinἐνheavenτῷ οὐρανῷwas opened,ἠνοίγηandκαὶthe arkἡ κιβωτὸςof his covenantτῆς διαθήκης αὐτοῦwas seenὤφθηinἐνhis sanctuary;τῷ ναῷ αὐτοῦandκαὶthere wereἐγένοντοlightningsἀστραπαὶandκαὶvoicesφωναὶandκαὶthundersβρονταὶandκαὶan earthquakeσεισμὸςandκαὶgreatμεγάληhail.χάλαζα
