And he brought me backוַיְשִׁבֵנִיto the entranceאֶל פֶּתַחof the house,הַבַּיִתand look,וְהִנֵּהwaterמַיִםwas coming outיֹצְאִיםfrom underמִתַּחַתthe thresholdמִפְתַּןof the houseהַבַּיִתeastward,קָדִימָהforכִּיthe frontפְנֵיof the houseהַבַּיִתfaced east;קָדִיםand the waterוְהַמַּיִםwas going downיֹרְדִיםfrom underמִתַּחַתthe rightהַיְמָנִיתsideמִכֶּתֶףof the house,הַבַּיִתsouthמִנֶּגֶבof the altar.לַמִּזְבֵּחַ
And he brought me outוַיּוֹצִאֵנִיby wayדֶּרֶךְof the northצָפוֹנָהgateשַׁעַרand led me aroundוַיְסִבֵּנִיby wayדֶּרֶךְof the outsideחוּץto the outerהַחוּץgateאֶל שַׁעַרby wayדֶּרֶךְof the one that facesהַפּוֹנֶהeast;קָדִיםand look,וְהִנֵּהwaterמַיִםwas trickling outמְפַכִּיםfrom the rightהַיְמָנִיתside.מִן הַכָּתֵף
Whenבְּthe manהָאִישׁwent outצֵאתeastwardקָדִיםwith a lineוְקָוin his hand,בְּיָדוֹhe measuredוַיָּמָדa thousandאֶלֶףcubits,בָּאַמָּהand he led me throughוַיַּעֲבִרֵנִיthe water,בַמַּיִםwaterמֵיto the ankles.אָפְסָיִם
And he measuredוַיָּמָדa thousand,אֶלֶףand led me throughוַיַּעֲבִרֵנִיthe water,בַמַּיִםwaterמַיִםto the knees;בִּרְכָּיִםand he measuredוַיָּמָדa thousand,אֶלֶףand led me through,וַיַּעֲבִרֵנִיwaterמֵיto the waist.מָתְנָיִם
And he measuredוַיָּמָדa thousand:אֶלֶףa torrentנַחַלthatאֲשֶׁרI could notלֹא אוּכַלcross,לַעֲבֹרforכִּיthe waterהַמַּיִםhad risen,גָאוּwaterמֵיfor swimming,שָׂחוּa torrentנַחַלthatאֲשֶׁרcould notלֹאbe crossed.יֵעָבֵר
And he saidוַיֹּאמֶרto me,אֵלַי“Have you seen,הֲרָאִיתָsonבֶןof man?”אָדָםAnd he led meוַיּוֹלִכֵנִיand brought me backוַיְשִׁבֵנִיto the bankשְׂפַתof the torrent.הַנָּחַל
When I returned,בְּשׁוּבֵנִיlook,וְהִנֵּהon the bankאֶל שְׂפַתof the torrentהַנַּחַלthere were very manyרַב מְאֹדtreesעֵץon one sideמִזֶּהand on the other.וּמִזֶּה
And he saidוַיֹּאמֶרto me,אֵלַי“This waterהַמַּיִם הָאֵלֶּהgoes outיוֹצְאִיםtoward the easternהַקַּדְמוֹנָהregionאֶל הַגְּלִילָהand will go downוְיָרְדוּinto the Arabah,עַל הָעֲרָבָהand will enterוּבָאוּthe sea;הַיָּמָּהinto the seaאֶל הַיָּמָּהof the waters brought out,הַמּוּצָאִיםand the waterוְ הַמָּיִםwill be healed.נִרְפּוּ
And it will beוְהָיָהthat everyכָלliving beingנֶפֶשׁ חַיָּהthatאֲשֶׁרswarmsיִשְׁרֹץwhereverאֶל כָּל אֲשֶׁרthe two torrentsנַחֲלַיִםgoיָבוֹאthereשָׁםwill live;יִחְיֶהand there will beוְהָיָהvery manyרַבָּה מְאֹדfish,הַדָּגָהforכִּיthis waterהַמַּיִם הָאֵלֶּהgoesבָאוּthere,שָׁמָּהand the waters will be healed,וְיֵרָפְאוּand everythingוָ כֹּלwill liveחָיwhereverאֲשֶׁר שָׁמָּהthe torrentהַנָּחַלgoes.יָבוֹא
And it will be thatוְהָיָהfishermenדַּוָּגִיםwill standעָמְדוּbeside itעָלָיוfrom En-gediמֵעֵין גֶּדִיto En-eglaim;וְעַד עֵין עֶגְלַיִםthere will beיִהְיוּa place for spreadingמִשְׁטוֹחַnets;לַחֲרָמִיםaccording to its kindsלְמִינָהwill beתִּהְיֶהtheir fish,דְגָתָםlike the fishכִּדְגַתof the greatהַגָּדוֹלsea,הַיָּםvery many.רַבָּה מְאֹד
Its swampsבִּצֹּאתָיוand its marshesוּגְבָאָיוwill notוְלֹאbe healed;יֵרָפְאוּthey will be given overנִתָּנוּto salt.לְמֶלַח
And by the torrentוְעַל הַנַּחַלwill grow up,יַעֲלֶהon its bank,עַל שְׂפָתוֹon one sideמִזֶּהand on the other,וּמִזֶּהeveryכָּלtreeעֵץfor food;מַאֲכָלits leafעָלֵהוּwill notלֹאwither,יִבּוֹלnorוְלֹאwill its fruitפִּרְיוֹfail;יִתֹּםevery monthלָחֳדָשָׁיוit will bear new fruit,יְבַכֵּרforכִּיits waterמֵימָיוgoes outהֵמָּה יוֹצְאִיםfrom the sanctuary;מִן הַמִּקְדָּשׁand its fruitוְהָיָה פִרְיוֹwill be for food,לְמַאֲכָלand its leafוְעָלֵהוּfor medicine.”לִתְרוּפָה
ThusכֹּהsaysאָמַרAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH:יְהוִהThis isגֵּהthe borderגְבוּלby whichאֲשֶׁרyou shall take as inheritanceתִּתְנַחֲלוּthe landהָאָרֶץfor the twelveלִשְׁנֵי עָשָׂרtribesשִׁבְטֵיof Israel;יִשְׂרָאֵלJosephיוֹסֵףshall have two portions.חֲבָלִים
And you shall inherit it,וּנְחַלְתֶּם אוֹתָהּeach oneאִישׁlike his brother,כְּאָחִיוthe land thatאֲשֶׁרI raisedנָשָׂאתִיmy handיָדִיto give itלְתִתָּהּto your fathers;לַאֲבֹתֵיכֶםand this landהָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאתshall fall to youוְנָפְלָה לָכֶםas an inheritance.בְּנַחֲלָה
And thisוְזֶהshall be the borderגְּבוּלof the land:הָאָרֶץon the sideלִפְאַתof the north,צָפוֹנָהfrom the greatהַגָּדוֹלseaמִן הַיָּםby the wayהַדֶּרֶךְof Hethlon,חֶתְלֹןas one comesלְבוֹאto Zedad,צְדָדָה
Hamath,חֲמָתBerothah,בֵּרוֹתָהSibraim,סִבְרַיִםwhichאֲשֶׁרis betweenבֵּיןthe borderגְּבוּלof Damascusדַּמֶּשֶׂקandוּבֵיןthe borderגְּבוּלof Hamath;חֲמָתHazer-hatticon,חָצֵר הַתִּיכוֹןwhichאֲשֶׁרis onאֶלthe borderגְּבוּלof Hauran.חַוְרָן
And the borderגְבוּלshall beוְהָיָהfrom the seaמִן הַיָּםto Hazar-enan,חֲצַר עֵינוֹןthe borderגְּבוּלof Damascus,דַּמֶּשֶׂקand the northוְצָפוֹןnorthward,צָפוֹנָהand the borderוּגְבוּלof Hamath.חֲמָתAnd this isוְאֵתthe northצָפוֹןside.פְּאַת
And the eastקָדִיםside,וּפְאַתfrom betweenמִבֵּיןHauranחַוְרָןand Damascus,וּמִבֵּין דַּמֶּשֶׂקand betweenוּמִבֵּיןGileadהַגִּלְעָדand the landוּמִבֵּין אֶרֶץof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלshall be the Jordan;הַיַּרְדֵּןfrom the borderמִגְּבוּלto the easternהַקַּדְמוֹנִיseaעַל הַיָּםyou shall measure.תָּמֹדּוּAnd this isוְאֵתthe eastקָדִימָהside.פְּאַת
And the southנֶגֶבsideוּפְאַתtoward the south:תֵּימָנָהfrom Tamarמִתָּמָרto the watersעַד מֵיof Meribahמְרִיבוֹתof Kadesh,קָדֵשׁto the Wadi,נַחֲלָהto the greatהַגָּדוֹלsea.אֶל הַיָּםAnd this isוְאֵתthe southתֵּימָנָהsideפְּאַתtoward the south.נֶגְבָּה
And the sideוּפְאַתof the sea:יָםthe greatהַגָּדוֹלsea,הַיָּםfrom the borderמִגְּבוּלto a point oppositeעַד נֹכַחthe entranceלְבוֹאof Hamath.חֲמָתThis isזֹאתthe sideפְּאַתof the sea.יָם
And you shall divideוְחִלַּקְתֶּםthis landהָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאתamong yourselvesלָכֶםaccording to the tribesלְשִׁבְטֵיof Israel.יִשְׂרָאֵל
And it shall be thatוְהָיָהyou shall allot itתַּפִּלוּ אוֹתָהּas an inheritanceבְּנַחֲלָהfor yourselvesלָכֶםand for the resident aliensוּלְהַגֵּרִיםwho resideהַגָּרִיםamong you,בְּתוֹכְכֶםwhoאֲשֶׁרhave fatheredהוֹלִדוּsonsבָנִיםamong you;בְּתוֹכְכֶםand they shall beוְהָיוּto youלָכֶםlike the nativeכְּאֶזְרָחamong the sonsבִּבְנֵיof Israel;יִשְׂרָאֵלwith youאִתְּכֶםthey shall be allottedיִפְּלוּan inheritanceבְנַחֲלָהamongבְּתוֹךְthe tribesשִׁבְטֵיof Israel.יִשְׂרָאֵל
And it shall be thatוְהָיָהin the tribeבַשֵּׁבֶטwith whichאֲשֶׁר אִתּוֹthe resident alienהַגֵּרresides,גָּרthereשָׁםyou shall giveתִּתְּנוּhis inheritance,נַחֲלָתוֹdeclaresנְאֻםAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWH.יְהוִה
