The spiritרוּחַof AdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWHיְהוִהis upon me,עָלָיbecauseיַעַןYHWHיְהוָהhas anointed meמָשַׁח אֹתִיto bring good newsלְבַשֵּׂרto the humble;עֲנָוִיםhe has sent meשְׁלָחַנִיto bind upלַחֲבֹשׁthe brokenhearted,לְנִשְׁבְּרֵי לֵבto proclaimלִקְרֹאlibertyדְּרוֹרto the captives,לִשְׁבוּיִםand to the prisonersוְלַאֲסוּרִיםopening of the prison,פְּקַח קוֹחַ
to proclaimלִקְרֹאthe yearשְׁנַתof favorרָצוֹןof YHWHלַיהוָהand the dayוְיוֹםof vengeanceנָקָםof our Elohim,לֵאלֹהֵינוּto comfortלְנַחֵםallכָּלwho mourn;אֲבֵלִים
to appointלָשׂוּםfor those who mournלַאֲבֵלֵיin Zion,צִיּוֹןto giveלָתֵתthemלָהֶםa headdressפְּאֵרinstead ofתַּחַתashes,אֵפֶרthe oilשֶׁמֶןof gladnessשָׂשׂוֹןinstead ofתַּחַתmourning,אֵבֶלthe mantleמַעֲטֵהof praiseתְהִלָּהinstead ofתַּחַתa faintכֵּהָהspirit;רוּחַand they will be calledוְקֹרָא לָהֶםterebinthsאֵילֵיof righteousness,הַצֶּדֶקthe plantingמַטַּעof YHWH,יְהוָהto glorify himself.לְהִתְפָּאֵר
And they will buildוּבָנוּthe ancientעוֹלָםruins;חָרְבוֹתthe formerרִאשֹׁנִיםdesolationsשֹׁמְמוֹתthey will raise up;יְקוֹמֵמוּand they will renewוְחִדְּשׁוּthe ruinedחֹרֶבcities,עָרֵיthe desolationsשֹׁמְמוֹתof generationדּוֹרafter generation.וָדוֹר
And strangersוְ זָרִיםwill standעָמְדוּand shepherdוְרָעוּyour flocks,צֹאנְכֶםand foreignersוּבְנֵי נֵכָרwill be your farmersאִכָּרֵיכֶםand your vinedressers.וְכֹרְמֵיכֶם
But youוְאַתֶּםwill be calledתִּקָּרֵאוּpriestsכֹּהֲנֵיof YHWH;יְהוָהministersמְשָׁרְתֵיof our Elohim,אֱלֹהֵינוּit will be saidיֵאָמֵרof you;לָכֶםyou will eatתֹּאכֵלוּthe wealthחֵילof the nations,גּוֹיִםand in their gloryוּבִכְבוֹדָםyou will boast.תִּתְיַמָּרוּ
Instead ofתַּחַתyour shame,בָּשְׁתְּכֶםa double portion;מִשְׁנֶהand instead ofוּhumiliationכְלִמָּהthey will shout for joyיָרֹנּוּover their portion;חֶלְקָםthereforeלָכֵןin their landבְּאַרְצָםthey will possessיִירָשׁוּa double portion;מִשְׁנֶהeternalעוֹלָםjoyשִׂמְחַתwill beתִּהְיֶהtheirs.לָהֶם
ForכִּיI,אֲנִיYHWH,יְהוָהloveאֹהֵבjustice;מִשְׁפָּטI hateשֹׂנֵאrobberyגָזֵלwith burnt offering;בְּעוֹלָהand I will giveוְנָתַתִּיtheir wagesפְעֻלָּתָםin truth,בֶּאֱמֶתand an eternalעוֹלָםcovenantוּבְרִיתI will makeאֶכְרוֹתwith them.לָהֶם
And their offspringוְ זַרְעָםwill be knownנוֹדַעamong the nations,בַּגּוֹיִםand their offshootsוְצֶאֱצָאֵיהֶםin the midstבְּתוֹךְof the peoples;הָעַמִּיםallכָּלwho see themרֹאֵיהֶםwill recognize them,יַכִּירוּםthatכִּיthey areהֵםthe offspringזֶרַעthat YHWHיְהוָהhas blessed.בֵּרַךְ
I will greatly rejoiceשׂוֹשׂ אָשִׂישׂin YHWH;בַּיהוָהmy soulנַפְשִׁיwill exultתָּגֵלin my Elohim,בֵּאלֹהַיforכִּיhe has clothed meהִלְבִּישַׁנִיwith garmentsבִּגְדֵיof salvation;יֶשַׁעwith the robeמְעִילof righteousnessצְדָקָהhe has wrapped me,יְעָטָנִיas a bridegroomכֶּחָתָןputs on the headdressפְּאֵרlike a priest,יְכַהֵןand as a brideוְכַכַּלָּהadorns herselfתַּעְדֶּהwith her jewels.כֵלֶיהָ
Forכִּיas the earthכָאָרֶץbrings forthתּוֹצִיאits sprouts,צִמְחָהּand as a gardenוּכְגַנָּהmakesתַצְמִיחַits seedsזֵרוּעֶיהָsprout,תַצְמִיחַsoכֵּןAdonaiאֲדֹנָיYHWHיְהוִהwill make sproutיַצְמִיחַrighteousnessצְדָקָהand praiseוּתְהִלָּהbeforeנֶגֶדallכָּלthe nations.הַגּוֹיִם
