And they hadוַיְהִי לָהֶםin their inheritance:בְּנַחֲלָתָםBeersheba,בְּאֵר שֶׁבַעSheba,וְשֶׁבַעMoladah,וּמוֹלָדָה
Hazar-shual,וַחֲצַר שׁוּעָלBalah,וּבָלָהEzem,וָעָצֶם
Eltolad,וְאֶלְתּוֹלַדBethul,וּבְתוּלHormah,וְחָרְמָה
Ziklag,וְצִקְלַגBeth-marcaboth,וּבֵית הַמַּרְכָּבוֹתHazar-susah,וַחֲצַר סוּסָה
Beth-lebaoth,וּבֵית לְבָאוֹתand Sharuhen:וְשָׁרוּחֶןthirteenשְׁלֹשׁ עֶשְׂרֵהcitiesעָרִיםwith their villages;וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
Ain,עַיִןRimmon,רִמּוֹןEther,וָעֶתֶרand Ashan:וְעָשָׁןfourאַרְבַּעcitiesעָרִיםwith their villages;וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
and allוְכָלthe villagesהַחֲצֵרִיםthatאֲשֶׁרwerearoundסְבִיבוֹתtheseהָאֵלֶּהcitiesהֶעָרִיםas far asעַדBaalath-beer,בַּעֲלַת בְּאֵרRamahרָאמַתof the Negev.נֶגֶבThisזֹאתisthe inheritanceנַחֲלַתof the tribeמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Simeonשִׁמְעוֹןaccording to their families.לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם
From the allotmentמֵחֶבֶלof the sonsבְּנֵיof Judahיְהוּדָהwasthe inheritanceנַחֲלַתof the sonsבְּנֵיof Simeon,שִׁמְעוֹןforכִּיthe portionחֵלֶקof the sonsבְּנֵיof Judahיְהוּדָהwasהָיָהtoo greatרַבfor them;מֵהֶםso the sonsוַ בְנֵיof Simeonשִׁמְעוֹןreceived their inheritanceיִּנְחֲלוּin the midstבְּתוֹךְof their inheritance.נַחֲלָתָם
And the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁיlotהַגּוֹרָלcame upוַיַּעַלfor the sonsלִבְנֵיof Zebulunזְבוּלֻןaccording to their families.לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםAnd the territoryוַ גְּבוּלof their inheritanceנַחֲלָתָםwasיְהִיas far asעַדSarid;שָׂרִיד
and their borderוְ גְבוּלָםwent upעָלָהwestwardלַיָּמָּהto Maralah,וּמַרְעֲלָהand touchedוּפָגַעDabbesheth,בְּדַבָּשֶׁתand touchedוּפָגַעthe brookאֶל הַנַּחַלthatאֲשֶׁרiseastעַל פְּנֵיof Jokneam;יָקְנְעָם
and it turned backוְשָׁבfrom Saridמִשָּׂרִידeastwardקֵדְמָהtoward the sunriseמִזְרַח הַשֶּׁמֶשׁtoעַלthe borderגְּבוּלof Chisloth-tabor,כִּסְלֹת תָּבֹרand went outוְיָצָאtoאֶלDaberath,הַדָּבְרַתand went upוְעָלָהto Japhia;יָפִיעַ
and from thereוּמִשָּׁםit passed alongעָבַרeastward,קֵדְמָהtoward the sunrise,מִזְרָחָהto Gath-hepher,גִּתָּה חֵפֶרto Eth-kazin,עִתָּה קָצִיןand went outוְיָצָאto Rimmon,רִמּוֹןturningהַמְּתֹאָרto Neah;הַנֵּעָה
and the borderוְ הַגְּבוּלturnedנָסַבaround itאֹתוֹon the northמִצְּפוֹןto Hannathon,חַנָּתֹןand its endsוְ תֹּצְאֹתָיוwereהָיוּat the Valleyגֵּיof Iphtah-el;יִפְתַּח אֵל
and Kattath,וְקַטָּתNahalal,וְנַהֲלָלShimron,וְשִׁמְרוֹןIdalah,וְיִדְאֲלָהand Bethlehem:וּבֵית לָחֶםtwelveשְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵהcitiesעָרִיםwith their villages.וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
Thisזֹאתisthe inheritanceנַחֲלַתof the sonsבְּנֵיof Zebulunזְבוּלֻןaccording to their families:לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָםtheseהָאֵלֶּהcitiesהֶעָרִיםwith their villages.וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
For Issacharלְיִשָּׂשכָרthe fourthהָרְבִיעִיlotהַגּוֹרָלcame out,יָצָאfor the sonsלִבְנֵיof Issacharיִשָּׂשכָרaccording to their families.לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָם
And their territoryוַ גְּבוּלָםwasיְהִיJezreel,יִזְרְעֶאלָהChesulloth,וְהַכְּסוּלֹתShunem,וְשׁוּנֵם
Hapharaim,וַחֲפָרַיִםShion,וְשִׁיאֹןAnaharath,וַאֲנָחֲרַת
Rabbith,וְהָרַבִּיתKishion,וְקִשְׁיוֹןEbez,וָאָבֶץ
Remeth,וְרֶמֶתEn-gannim,וְעֵין גַּנִּיםEn-haddah,וְעֵין חַדָּהand Beth-pazzez.וּבֵית פַּצֵּץ
And the borderוּ הַגְּבוּלtouchedפָגַעTabor,בְּתָבוֹרShahazimah,וְשַׁחֲצִימָהand Beth-shemesh,וּבֵית שֶׁמֶשׁand the endsוְ תֹּצְאוֹתof their borderגְּבוּלָםwereהָיוּat the Jordan:הַיַּרְדֵּןsixteenשֵׁשׁ עֶשְׂרֵהcitiesעָרִיםwith their villages.וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
Thisזֹאתisthe inheritanceנַחֲלַתof the tribeמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Issacharיִשָּׂשכָרaccording to their families:לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםthe citiesהֶעָרִיםwith their villages.וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
And the fifthהַחֲמִישִׁיlotהַגּוֹרָלcame outוַיֵּצֵאfor the tribeלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Asherאָשֵׁרaccording to their families.לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָם
And their territoryוַ גְּבוּלָםwasיְהִיHelkath,חֶלְקַתHali,וַחֲלִיBeten,וָבֶטֶןAchshaph,וְאַכְשָׁף
Allammelech,וְאַלַמֶּלֶךְAmad,וְעַמְעָדand Mishal;וּמִשְׁאָלand on the westהַיָּמָּהit touchedוּפָגַעCarmelבְּכַרְמֶלand Shihor-libnath;וּבְשִׁיחוֹר לִבְנָת
and it turned backוְשָׁבtoward the sunriseמִזְרַח הַשֶּׁמֶשׁto Beth-dagon,בֵּית דָּגֹןand touchedוּפָגַעZebulunבִּזְבֻלוּןand the Valleyוּבְגֵיof Iphtah-elיִפְתַּח אֵלto the north,צָפוֹנָהBeth-emekבֵּית הָעֵמֶקand Neiel,וּנְעִיאֵלand went outוְיָצָאtoאֶלCabulכָּבוּלon the left,מִשְּׂמֹאל
and Ebron,וְעֶבְרֹןRehob,וּרְחֹבHammon,וְחַמּוֹןand Kanah,וְקָנָהas far asעַדGreatרַבָּהSidon;צִידוֹן
and the borderוְ הַגְּבוּלturned backשָׁבto Ramah,הָרָמָהand as far asוְעַדthe fortifiedמִבְצַרcityעִירof Tyre;צֹרand the borderוְ הַגְּבוּלturned backשָׁבto Hosah,חֹסָהand its endsוְ תֹצְאֹתָיוwereהָיוּat the sea,הַיָּמָּהby the regionמֵחֶבֶלof Achzib;אַכְזִיבָה
and Ummah,וְעֻמָהAphek,וַאֲפֵקand Rehob:וּרְחֹבtwenty-twoעֶשְׂרִים וּשְׁתַּיִםcitiesעָרִיםwith their villages.וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
Thisזֹאתisthe inheritanceנַחֲלַתof the tribeמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Asherאָשֵׁרaccording to their families:לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםtheseהָאֵלֶּהcitiesהֶעָרִיםwith their villages.וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
For the sonsלִבְנֵיof Naphtaliנַפְתָּלִיthe sixthהַשִּׁשִּׁיlotהַגּוֹרָלcame out,יָצָאfor the sonsלִבְנֵיof Naphtaliנַפְתָּלִיaccording to their families.לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם
And their borderוַ גְבוּלָםwasיְהִיfrom Heleph,מֵחֵלֶףfrom the oakמֵאֵלוֹןin Zaanannim,בְּצַעֲנַנִּיםand Adami-nekebוַאֲדָמִי הַנֶּקֶבand Jabneel,וְיַבְנְאֵלas far asעַדLakkum;לַקּוּםand its endsוַ תֹצְאֹתָיוwereיְהִיat the Jordan;הַיַּרְדֵּן
and the borderוְ הַגְּבוּלturned backשָׁבwestwardיָמָּהto Aznoth-tabor,אַזְנוֹת תָּבוֹרand went outוְיָצָאfrom thereמִשָּׁםto Hukkok,חוּקֹקָהand touchedוּפָגַעZebulunבִּזְבֻלוּןon the south,מִנֶּגֶבand touchedפָּגַעAsherוּבְאָשֵׁרon the west,מִיָּםand Judahוּבִיהוּדָהat the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּןtoward the sunrise.מִזְרַח הַשָּׁמֶשׁ
And the fortifiedמִבְצָרcitiesוְעָרֵיwere:Ziddim,הַצִּדִּיםZer,צֵרHammath,וְחַמַּתRakkath,רַקַּתChinnereth,וְכִנָּרֶת
Adamah,וַאֲדָמָהRamah,וְהָרָמָהHazor,וְחָצוֹר
Kedesh,וְקֶדֶשׁEdrei,וְאֶדְרֶעִיEn-hazor,וְעֵין חָצוֹר
Iron,וְיִרְאוֹןMigdal-el,וּמִגְדַּל אֵלHorem,חֳרֵםBeth-anath,וּבֵית עֲנָתand Beth-shemesh:וּבֵית שָׁמֶשׁnineteenתְּשַׁע עֶשְׂרֵהcitiesעָרִיםwith their villages.וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
Thisזֹאתisthe inheritanceנַחֲלַתof the tribeמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Naphtaliנַפְתָּלִיaccording to their families:לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםthe citiesהֶעָרִיםwith their villages.וְחַצְרֵיהֶן
For the tribeלְמַטֵּהof the sonsבְנֵיof Danדָןaccording to their familiesלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםthe seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִיlotהַגּוֹרָלcame out.יָצָא
And the territoryוַ גְּבוּלof their inheritanceנַחֲלָתָםwasיְהִיZorah,צָרְעָהEshtaol,וְאֶשְׁתָּאוֹלIr-shemesh,וְעִיר שָׁמֶשׁ
Shaalabbin,וְשַׁעֲלַבִּיןAijalon,וְאַיָּלוֹןIthlah,וְיִתְלָה
Elon,וְאֵילוֹןTimnath,וְתִמְנָתָהEkron,וְעֶקְרוֹן
Eltekeh,וְאֶלְתְּקֵהGibbethon,וְגִבְּתוֹןBaalath,וּבַעֲלָת
Jehud,וִיהֻדBene-berak,וּבְנֵי בְרַקGath-rimmon,וְגַת רִמּוֹן
Me-jarkonוּמֵי הַיַּרְקוֹןand Rakkon,וְהָרַקּוֹןwithעִםthe territoryהַגְּבוּלoppositeמוּלJoppa.יָפוֹ
And the territoryוַ גְבוּלof the sonsבְּנֵיof Danדָןslippedיֵּצֵאout of their hands;מֵהֶםand the sonsוַ בְנֵיof Danדָןwent upיַּעֲלוּand foughtוַיִּלָּחֲמוּagainstעִםLeshem,לֶשֶׁםand took it,וַיִּלְכְּדוּ אוֹתָהּand struck itוַיַּכּוּ אוֹתָהּwith the edgeלְפִיof the sword,חֶרֶבand took possession of itוַיִּרְשׁוּ אוֹתָהּand livedוַיֵּשְׁבוּin it;בָהּand they calledוַיִּקְרְאוּLeshemלְלֶשֶׁםDan,דָּןafter the nameכְּשֵׁםof Danדָּןtheir father.אֲבִיהֶם

And they finishedוַיְכַלּוּinheritingלִנְחֹלthe landהָאָרֶץby its borders;לִגְבוּלֹתֶיהָand the sonsוַ בְנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלgaveיִּתְּנוּan inheritanceנַחֲלָהto Joshuaלִיהוֹשֻׁעַsonבִּןof Nunנוּןin their midst.בְּתוֹכָם
According to the commandעַל פִּיof YHWHיְהוָהthey gaveנָתְנוּhimלוֹthe cityהָעִירthatאֲשֶׁרhe asked for,שָׁאָלTimnath-serahתִּמְנַת סֶרַחin the hill countryבְּהַרof Ephraim;אֶפְרָיִםand he builtוַיִּבְנֶהthe cityהָעִירand livedוַיֵּשֶׁבin it.בָּהּ
Theseאֵלֶּהarethe inheritancesהַנְּחָלֹתthatאֲשֶׁרEleazarאֶלְעָזָרthe priest,הַכֹּהֵןJoshuaוִיהוֹשֻׁעַsonבִּןof Nun,נוּןand the headsוְרָאשֵׁיof the fathers’ housesהָאָבוֹתof the tribesלְמַטּוֹתof the sonsבְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלgave as inheritancesנִחֲלוּby lotבְּגוֹרָלin ShilohבְּשִׁלֹהbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH,יְהוָהat the entranceפֶּתַחof the tentאֹהֶלof meeting.מוֹעֵדAnd they finishedוַיְכַלּוּdividingמֵחַלֵּקthe land.הָאָרֶץ
