“Speakדַּבֵּרto the sonsאֶל בְּנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלsaying:לֵאמֹרWhenכִּיa personנֶפֶשׁsinsתֶחֱטָאinadvertentlyבִשְׁגָגָהagainst anyמִכֹּלof the commandmentsמִצְוֺתof YHWHיְהוָהconcerning things thatאֲשֶׁרshould notלֹאbe done,תֵעָשֶׂינָהand doesוְעָשָׂהany oneמֵאַחַתof them,מֵהֵנָּה
ifאִםthe anointedהַמָּשִׁיחַpriestהַכֹּהֵןsins,יֶחֱטָאbringing guiltלְאַשְׁמַתon the people,הָעָםhe shall presentוְהִקְרִיבforעַלhis sinחַטָּאתוֹthatאֲשֶׁרhe has sinnedחָטָאa young bullפַּר בֶּן בָּקָרwithout defectתָּמִיםto YHWHלַיהוָהas a sin offering.לְחַטָּאת
He shall bringוְהֵבִיאthe bullהַפָּרtoאֶלthe entranceפֶּתַחof the tentאֹהֶלof meetingמוֹעֵדbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH,יְהוָהlayוְסָמַךְhis handיָדוֹonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the bull,הַפָּרand slaughterוְשָׁחַטthe bullהַפָּרbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH.יְהוָה
The anointedהַמָּשִׁיחַpriestהַכֹּהֵןshall takeוְלָקַחsome of the bloodמִדַּםof the bullהַפָּרand bringוְהֵבִיאitאֹתוֹintoאֶלthe tentאֹהֶלof meeting.מוֹעֵד
The priestהַכֹּהֵןshall dipוְטָבַלhis fingerאֶצְבָּעוֹin the bloodבַּדָּםand sprinkleוְהִזָּהsome ofמִןthe bloodהַדָּםsevenשֶׁבַעtimesפְּעָמִיםbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH,יְהוָהin front ofאֶת פְּנֵיthe veilפָּרֹכֶתof the Holy Place.הַקֹּדֶשׁ
The priestהַכֹּהֵןshall putוְנָתַןsome ofמִןthe bloodהַדָּםonעַלthe hornsקַרְנוֹתof the altarמִזְבַּחof fragrantהַסַּמִּיםincenseקְטֹרֶתbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWHיְהוָהthat isאֲשֶׁרin the tentבְּאֹהֶלof meeting,מוֹעֵדand allוְ כָּלthe rest of the bloodדַּםof the bullהַפָּרhe shall pour outיִשְׁפֹּךְatאֶלthe baseיְסוֹדof the altarמִזְבַּחof burnt offeringהָעֹלָהthat isאֲשֶׁרat the entranceפֶּתַחof the tentאֹהֶלof meeting.מוֹעֵד
Allוְ כָּלthe fatחֵלֶבof the bullפַּרof the sin offeringהַחַטָּאתhe shall take offיָרִיםfrom it:מִמֶּנּוּthe fatהַחֵלֶבthat coversהַמְכַסֶּה עַלthe entrailsהַקֶּרֶבand allוְ כָּלthe fatהַחֵלֶבthat isאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe entrails,הַקֶּרֶב
the twoוְ שְׁתֵּיkidneysהַכְּלָיֹתand the fatוְ הַחֵלֶבthat isאֲשֶׁרon them,עֲלֵיהֶןwhich isאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe loins,הַכְּסָלִיםand the lobeוְ הַיֹּתֶרֶתonעַלthe liver,הַכָּבֵדwhich he shall removeיְסִירֶנָּהwithעַלthe kidneys,הַכְּלָיוֹת
just asכַּאֲשֶׁרit is taken offיוּרַםfrom the oxמִשּׁוֹרof the sacrificeזֶבַחof peace;הַשְּׁלָמִיםand the priestוְ הַכֹּהֵןshall offer them up in smokeהִקְטִירָםonעַלthe altarמִזְבַּחof burnt offering.הָעֹלָה
But the skinוְ עוֹרof the bullהַפָּרand allוְ כָּלits flesh,בְּשָׂרוֹwithעַלits headרֹאשׁוֹand withוְעַלits legs,כְּרָעָיוits entrailsוְקִרְבּוֹand its dung,וּפִרְשׁוֹ
allכָּלthe bull,הַפָּרhe shall bring outוְהוֹצִיאtoאֶלoutsideמִחוּץthe camp,לַמַּחֲנֶהtoאֶלa cleanטָהוֹרplace,מָקוֹםtoאֶלthe ash heap,שֶׁפֶךְ הַדֶּשֶׁןand burnוְשָׂרַףitאֹתוֹonעַלwoodעֵצִיםwith fire;בָּאֵשׁonעַלthe ash heapשֶׁפֶךְ הַדֶּשֶׁןit shall be burned.יִשָּׂרֵף
And ifוְאִםthe wholeכָּלcommunityעֲדַתof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלerrsיִשְׁגּוּand the matterוְ דָּבָרis hiddenנֶעְלַםfrom the eyesמֵעֵינֵיof the assembly,הַקָּהָלand they doוְעָשׂוּany oneאַחַתof allמִכָּלthe commandmentsמִצְוֺתof YHWHיְהוָהconcerning things thatאֲשֶׁרshould notלֹאbe done,תֵעָשֶׂינָהand they become guilty,וְאָשֵׁמוּ
whenוְthe sinהַחַטָּאתthatאֲשֶׁרthey have sinnedחָטְאוּin itעָלֶיהָbecomes known,נוֹדְעָהthe assemblyהַקָּהָלshall presentוְהִקְרִיבוּa young bullפַּר בֶּן בָּקָרas a sin offeringלְחַטָּאתand bringוְהֵבִיאוּitאֹתוֹbeforeלִפְנֵיthe tentאֹהֶלof meeting.מוֹעֵד
The eldersזִקְנֵיof the communityהָעֵדָהshall layוְסָמְכוּtheir handsיְדֵיהֶםonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the bullהַפָּרbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH,יְהוָהand one shall slaughterוְשָׁחַטthe bullהַפָּרbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH.יְהוָה

He shall putוּ יִתֵּןsome ofמִןthe bloodהַדָּםonעַלthe hornsקַרְנֹתof the altarהַמִּזְבֵּחַthat isאֲשֶׁרbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWHיְהוָהthat isאֲשֶׁרin the tentבְּאֹהֶלof meeting,מוֹעֵדand allוְ כָּלthe rest of the bloodהַדָּםhe shall pour outיִשְׁפֹּךְatאֶלthe baseיְסוֹדof the altarמִזְבַּחof burnt offeringהָעֹלָהthat isאֲשֶׁרat the entranceפֶּתַחof the tentאֹהֶלof meeting.מוֹעֵד
Allוְ כָּלits fatחֶלְבּוֹhe shall take offיָרִיםfrom itמִמֶּנּוּand offer it up in smokeוְהִקְטִירon the altar.הַמִּזְבֵּחָה
He shall doוְעָשָׂהwith the bullלַפָּרjust asכַּאֲשֶׁרhe didעָשָׂהwith the bullלְפַרof the sin offering;הַחַטָּאתsoכֵּןhe shall doיַעֲשֶׂהwith it.לּוֹAnd the priestוְ הַכֹּהֵןshall make expiationכִפֶּרfor them,עֲלֵהֶםand they will be forgiven.וְנִסְלַח לָהֶם
He shall bringוְהוֹצִיאthe bullהַפָּרtoאֶלoutsideמִחוּץthe campלַמַּחֲנֶהand burnוְשָׂרַףitאֹתוֹjust asכַּאֲשֶׁרhe burnedשָׂרַףthe firstהָרִאשׁוֹןbull;הַפָּרit isהוּאthe sin offeringחַטַּאתof the assembly.הַקָּהָל
Whenאֲשֶׁרa chiefנָשִׂיאsinsיֶחֱטָאand doesוְעָשָׂהinadvertentlyבִּשְׁגָגָהany oneאַחַתof allמִכָּלthe commandmentsמִצְוֺתof YHWHיְהוָהhis Elohimאֱלֹהָיוconcerning things thatאֲשֶׁרshould notלֹאbe done,תֵעָשֶׂינָהand becomes guilty,וְאָשֵׁם
orאוֹhis sinחַטָּאתוֹthatאֲשֶׁרhe has committedחָטָא בָּהּis made knownהוֹדַעto him,אֵלָיוhe shall bringוְהֵבִיאas his offeringקָרְבָּנוֹa maleזָכָרgoatשְׂעִיר עִזִּיםwithout defect.תָּמִים
He shall layוְסָמַךְhis handיָדוֹonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the goatהַשָּׂעִירand slaughterוְשָׁחַטitאֹתוֹin the placeבִּמְקוֹםwhereאֲשֶׁרone slaughtersיִשְׁחַטthe burnt offeringהָעֹלָהbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH;יְהוָהit isהוּאa sin offering.חַטָּאת
The priestהַכֹּהֵןshall takeוְלָקַחsome of the bloodמִדַּםof the sin offeringהַחַטָּאתwith his fingerבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹand put itוְנָתַןonעַלthe hornsקַרְנֹתof the altarמִזְבַּחof burnt offering,הָעֹלָהand the rest of its bloodוְ דָּמוֹhe shall pour outיִשְׁפֹּךְatאֶלthe baseיְסוֹדof the altarמִזְבַּחof burnt offering.הָעֹלָה
Allוְ כָּלits fatחֶלְבּוֹhe shall offer up in smokeיַקְטִירon the altar,הַמִּזְבֵּחָהlike the fatכְּחֵלֶבof the sacrificeזֶבַחof peace.הַשְּׁלָמִיםSo the priestוְ הַכֹּהֵןshall make expiationכִפֶּרfor himעָלָיוfor his sin,מֵחַטָּאתוֹand he will be forgiven.וְנִסְלַח לוֹ
And ifוְאִםany oneאַחַתpersonנֶפֶשׁof the peopleמֵעַםof the landהָאָרֶץsinsתֶּחֱטָאinadvertentlyבִשְׁגָגָהby doingבַּעֲשֹׂתָהּany oneאַחַתof the commandmentsמִמִּצְוֺתof YHWHיְהוָהconcerning things thatאֲשֶׁרshould notלֹאbe done,תֵעָשֶׂינָהand becomes guilty,וְאָשֵׁם
orאוֹhis sinחַטָּאתוֹthatאֲשֶׁרhe has committedחָטָאis made knownהוֹדַעto him,אֵלָיוhe shall bringוְהֵבִיאas his offeringקָרְבָּנוֹa femaleנְקֵבָהgoat,שְׂעִירַת עִזִּיםwithout defect,תְּמִימָהforעַלhis sinחַטָּאתוֹthatאֲשֶׁרhe has committed.חָטָא
He shall layוְסָמַךְhis handיָדוֹonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the sin offeringהַחַטָּאתand slaughterוְשָׁחַטthe sin offeringהַחַטָּאתin the placeבִּמְקוֹםof the burnt offering.הָעֹלָה
The priestהַכֹּהֵןshall takeוְלָקַחsome of its bloodמִדָּמָהּwith his fingerבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹand put itוְנָתַןonעַלthe hornsקַרְנֹתof the altarמִזְבַּחof burnt offering,הָעֹלָהand allוְ כָּלthe rest of its bloodדָּמָהּhe shall pour outיִשְׁפֹּךְatאֶלthe baseיְסוֹדof the altar.הַמִּזְבֵּחַ
Allוְ כָּלits fatחֶלְבָּהּhe shall remove,יָסִירjust asכַּאֲשֶׁרthe fatחֵלֶבis removedהוּסַרfromמֵעַלthe sacrificeזֶבַחof peace,הַשְּׁלָמִיםand the priestוְ הַכֹּהֵןshall offer it up in smokeהִקְטִירon the altarהַמִּזְבֵּחָהfor a pleasingלְ נִיחֹחַaromaרֵיחַto YHWH.לַיהוָהSo the priestוְ הַכֹּהֵןshall make expiationכִפֶּרfor him,עָלָיוand he will be forgiven.וְנִסְלַח לוֹ
And ifוְאִםhe bringsיָבִיאa lambכֶּבֶשׂas his offeringקָרְבָּנוֹfor a sin offering,לְחַטָּאתhe shall bringיְבִיאֶנָּהa femaleנְקֵבָהwithout defect.תְמִימָה
He shall layוְסָמַךְhis handיָדוֹonעַלthe headרֹאשׁof the sin offeringהַחַטָּאתand slaughterוְשָׁחַטitאֹתָהּas a sin offeringלְחַטָּאתin the placeבִּמְקוֹםwhereאֲשֶׁרone slaughtersיִשְׁחַטthe burnt offering.הָעֹלָה
The priestהַכֹּהֵןshall takeוְלָקַחsome of the bloodמִדַּםof the sin offeringהַחַטָּאתwith his fingerבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹand put itוְנָתַןonעַלthe hornsקַרְנֹתof the altarמִזְבַּחof burnt offering,הָעֹלָהand allוְ כָּלthe rest of its bloodדָּמָהּhe shall pour outיִשְׁפֹּךְatאֶלthe baseיְסוֹדof the altar.הַמִּזְבֵּחַ
Allוְ כָּלits fatחֶלְבָּהhe shall remove,יָסִירjust asכַּאֲשֶׁרthe fatחֵלֶבof the lambהַכֶּשֶׂבis removedיוּסַרfrom the sacrificeמִזֶּבַחof peace,הַשְּׁלָמִיםand the priestוְ הַכֹּהֵןshall offer up in smokeהִקְטִירthemאֹתָםon the altar,הַמִּזְבֵּחָהon top ofעַלthe fire offeringsאִשֵּׁיof YHWH.יְהוָהSo the priestוְ הַכֹּהֵןshall make expiationכִפֶּרfor himעָלָיוforעַלhis sinחַטָּאתוֹthatאֲשֶׁרhe has committed,חָטָאand he will be forgiven.וְנִסְלַח לוֹ
