so asεἰς τὸto liveβιῶσαιthe restτὸν ἐπίλοιπονof your timeχρόνονinἐνthe fleshσαρκὶno longerμηκέτιfor humanἀνθρώπωνdesiresἐπιθυμίαιςbutἀλλὰfor the willθελήματιof God.θεοῦ
Forγὰρthe timeὁ χρόνοςthat has passedπαρεληλυθὼςisenoughἀρκετὸςfor doingκατειργάσθαιwhatτὸthe nationsτῶν ἐθνῶνwant,βούλημαhaving walkedπεπορευμένουςinἐνdebauchery,ἀσελγείαιςdesires,ἐπιθυμίαιςdrunkenness,οἰνοφλυγίαιςrevelries,κώμοιςdrinking parties,πότοιςandκαὶlawlessἀθεμίτοιςidolatries.εἰδωλολατρίαις
Inἐνthisᾧthey are surprisedξενίζονταιthat you do notμὴ ὑμῶνrun with themσυντρεχόντωνintoεἰςthe sameτὴν αὐτὴνfloodἀνάχυσινof dissipation,τῆς ἀσωτίαςand they blaspheme;βλασφημοῦντες
Theyοἳwill giveἀποδώσουσινan accountλόγονto the one who isτῷ ἔχοντιreadyἑτοίμωςto judgeκρῖναιthe livingζῶνταςandκαὶthe dead.νεκρούς
Forγὰρtoεἰςthis endτοῦτοthe good news was proclaimedεὐηγγελίσθηevenκαὶto the dead,νεκροῖςso that,ἵναthough judgedκριθῶσι μὲνaccording toκατὰhuman beingsἀνθρώπουςin the flesh,σαρκὶthey might liveζῶσι δὲaccording toκατὰGodθεὸνin the spirit.πνεύματι
Butδὲthe endτὸ τέλοςof all thingsΠάντωνhas drawn near.ἤγγικενSoοὖνbe sensibleσωφρονήσατεandκαὶsoberνήψατεforεἰςprayers.προσευχάς
Aboveπρὸall,πάντωνhaveἔχοντεςearnestἐκτενῆloveτὴν ἀγάπηνforεἰςone another,ἑαυτοὺςbecauseὅτιloveἀγάπηcoversκαλύπτειa multitudeπλῆθοςof sins.ἁμαρτιῶν
Behospitableφιλόξενοιtoεἰςone anotherἀλλήλουςwithoutἄνευgrumbling.γογγυσμοῦ
Each one,ἕκαστοςasκαθὼςhe has receivedἔλαβενa gift,χάρισμαservingδιακονοῦντεςone anotherεἰς ἑαυτοὺςwith itαὐτὸasὡςgoodκαλοὶstewardsοἰκονόμοιof the variedποικίληςgraceχάριτοςof God.θεοῦ
Ifεἴanyoneτιςspeaks,λαλεῖlet him speakasὡςspeaking the wordsλόγιαof God;θεοῦifεἴanyoneτιςserves,διακονεῖlet him serveasὡςfromἐξthe strengthἰσχύοςthatἧςGodὁ θεόςsupplies,χορηγεῖso thatἵναinἐνall thingsπᾶσινGodὁ θεὸςmay be glorifiedδοξάζηταιthroughδιὰJesusἸησοῦthe Messiah,Χριστοῦto whomᾧbelongἐστινthe gloryἡ δόξαandκαὶthe powerτὸ κράτοςforever and ever.εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνωνAmen.ἀμήν

Forὅτιit isthe timeὁ καιρὸςfor judgmentτὸ κρίμαto beginτοῦ ἄρξασθαιwithἀπὸthe houseτοῦ οἴκουof God;τοῦ θεοῦandδὲifεἰit beginsfirstπρῶτονwithἀφ’us,ἡμῶνwhatτίwill bethe endτὸ τέλοςof those who disobeyτῶν ἀπειθούντωνthe good newsτῷ εὐαγγελίῳof God?τοῦ θεοῦ
Andκαὶifεἰthe righteousὁ δίκαιοςis savedσῴζεταιwith difficulty,μόλιςwhereποῦwill the ungodlyὁ ἀσεβὴςandκαὶthe sinnerἁμαρτωλὸςappear?φανεῖται
Soὥστεalsoκαὶlet those who sufferοἱ πάσχοντες παρατιθέσθωσανaccording toκατὰthe willτὸ θέλημαof Godτοῦ θεοῦentrustπαρατιθέσθωσανtheir soulsτὰς ψυχὰς αὐτῶνto a faithfulπιστῷCreatorκτίστῃinἐνdoing good.ἀγαθοποιΐᾳ
