Butἀλλ’not evenοὐδὲTitus,Τίτοςwho wasὁwithσὺνme,ἐμοίbeingὤνa Greek,Ἕλληνwas compelledἠναγκάσθηto be circumcised.περιτμηθῆναι
Andδὲthis wasbecause ofδιὰthe false brothersτοὺς ψευδαδέλφουςsecretly brought in,παρεισάκτουςwhoοἵτινεςslipped inπαρεισῆλθονto spy outκατασκοπῆσαιour freedomτὴν ἐλευθερίαν ἡμῶνthatἣνwe haveἔχομενinἐνthe MessiahΧριστῷJesus,Ἰησοῦso thatἵναthey might enslaveκαταδουλώσουσινus;ἡμᾶς

andκαὶrecognizingγνόντεςthe graceτὴν χάρινthatτὴνhad been givenδοθεῖσάνto me,μοιJamesἸάκωβοςandκαὶCephasΚηφᾶςandκαὶJohn,Ἰωάννηςwhoοἱwere consideredδοκοῦντεςto beεἶναιpillars,στῦλοιgaveἔδωκανto meἐμοὶandκαὶto BarnabasΒαρναβᾷthe right handsδεξιὰςof fellowship,κοινωνίαςso thatἵναweἡμεῖςshould gotoεἰςthe nationsτὰ ἔθνηandδὲtheyαὐτοὶtoεἰςthe circumcision.τὴν περιτομήν

Forγὰρbeforeπρὸ τοῦcertain peopleτιναςcameἐλθεῖνfromἀπὸJames,Ἰακώβουhe was eatingσυνήσθιενwithμετὰpeople of the nations;τῶν ἐθνῶνbutδὲwhenὅτεthey came,ἦλθονhe began drawing backὑπέστελλενandκαὶseparatingἀφώριζενhimself,ἑαυτόνfearingφοβούμενοςthoseτοὺςofἐκthe circumcision.περιτομῆς
Andκαὶthe restοἱ λοιποὶof the JewsἸουδαῖοιalsoκαὶacted hypocritically along withσυνυπεκρίθησανhim,αὐτῷso thatὥστεevenκαὶBarnabasΒαρναβᾶςwas carried awayσυναπήχθηby theirαὐτῶνhypocrisy.τῇ ὑποκρίσει
Butἀλλ’whenὅτεI sawεἶδονthatὅτιthey were notοὐκwalking straightὀρθοποδοῦσινin line withπρὸςthe truthτὴν ἀλήθειανof the good news,τοῦ εὐαγγελίουI saidεἶπονto Cephasτῷ Κηφᾷbeforeἔμπροσθενall:πάντωνIfΕἰyou,σὺbeingὑπάρχωνa Jew,Ἰουδαῖοςliveζῇςlike a Gentileἐθνικῶςandκαὶnotοὐκlike a Jew,Ἰουδαϊκῶςhow is it thatπῶςyou compelἀναγκάζειςthe nationsτὰ ἔθνηto live like Jews?Ἰουδαΐζειν

Butδὲif,εἰwhile seekingζητοῦντεςto be declared righteousδικαιωθῆναιinἐνthe Messiah,Χριστῷwe ourselvesαὐτοὶwere alsoκαὶfoundεὑρέθημενto besinners,ἁμαρτωλοίisthe MessiahΧριστὸςthenἆραa servantδιάκονοςof sin?ἁμαρτίαςBy no means!μὴ γένοιτο
ForγὰρifεἰwhatἃI tore down,κατέλυσαthese thingsταῦταI buildοἰκοδομῶagain,πάλινI proveσυνιστάνωmyselfἐμαυτὸνto bea transgressor.παραβάτην
ForγὰρI,ἐγὼthroughδιὰthe law,νόμουdiedἀπέθανονto the law,νόμῳso thatἵναI might liveζήσωto God.θεῷWith the MessiahΧριστῷI have been crucified;συνεσταύρωμαι
