AndוַYHWHיְהוָהspokeיְדַבֵּרto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהsaying,לֵּאמֹר
“Speakדַּבֵּרto the sonsאֶל בְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלand sayוְאָמַרְתָּto them:אֲלֵהֶםWhenכִּיa manאִישׁmakes a specialיַפְלִאvowנֶדֶרto YHWHלַיהוָהaccording to the valuationבְּעֶרְכְּךָof persons,נְפָשֹׁת
the valuationוְהָיָה עֶרְכְּךָof a maleהַזָּכָרfromמִtwentyעֶשְׂרִיםyears oldבֶּן שָׁנָהup toוְעַדsixtyשִׁשִּׁיםyears oldבֶּן שָׁנָהshall beוְהָיָהa valuationעֶרְכְּךָof fiftyחֲמִשִּׁיםshekelsשֶׁקֶלof silver,כֶּסֶףby the shekelבְּשֶׁקֶלof the sanctuary.הַקֹּדֶשׁ
And ifוְאִםitהִואis a female,נְקֵבָהthe valuationוְהָיָה עֶרְכְּךָshall be thirtyשְׁלֹשִׁיםshekels.שָׁקֶל
And ifוְאִםfromמִfiveחָמֵשׁyears oldבֶּן שָׁנִיםup toוְעַדtwentyעֶשְׂרִיםyears old,בֶּן שָׁנָהthe valuationוְהָיָה עֶרְכְּךָof the maleהַזָּכָרshall be twentyעֶשְׂרִיםshekels,שְׁקָלִיםand for the femaleוְלַנְּקֵבָהtenעֲשֶׂרֶתshekels.שְׁקָלִים
And ifוְאִםfromמִa month oldבֶּן חֹדֶשׁup toוְעַדfiveחָמֵשׁyears old,בֶּן שָׁנִיםthe valuationוְהָיָה עֶרְכְּךָof the maleהַזָּכָרshall be fiveחֲמִשָּׁהshekelsשְׁקָלִיםof silver,כָּסֶףand for the femaleוְלַנְּקֵבָהthe valuationעֶרְכְּךָshall be threeשְׁלֹשֶׁתshekelsשְׁקָלִיםof silver.כָּסֶף
And ifוְאִםfromמִsixtyשִׁשִּׁיםyears oldבֶּן שָׁנָהand upward,וָמַעְלָהifאִםa male,זָכָרthe valuationוְהָיָה עֶרְכְּךָshall be fifteenחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂרshekels,שָׁקֶלand for the femaleוְלַנְּקֵבָהtenעֲשָׂרָהshekels.שְׁקָלִים
But ifוְאִםheהוּאis too poorמָךְfor the valuation,מֵעֶרְכֶּךָhe shall set himוְהֶעֱמִידוֹbeforeלִפְנֵיthe priest,הַכֹּהֵןand the priestהַכֹּהֵןshall valueוְהֶעֱרִיךְhim;אֹתוֹaccording toעַל פִּיwhatאֲשֶׁרthe handיַדof the one who vowedהַנֹּדֵרcan afford,תַּשִּׂיגthe priestהַכֹּהֵןshall value him.יַעֲרִיכֶנּוּ
And ifוְאִםit is a beastבְּהֵמָהof whichאֲשֶׁר מִמֶּנָּהthey presentיַקְרִיבוּan offeringקָרְבָּןto YHWH,לַיהוָהallכֹּלthatאֲשֶׁרhe givesיִתֵּןof itמִמֶּנּוּto YHWHלַיהוָהshall beיִהְיֶהholy.קֹּדֶשׁ
He shall notלֹאexchangeיַחֲלִיפֶitנּוּorוְלֹאsubstituteיָמִירfor it,אֹתוֹa good oneטוֹבfor a bad one,בְּרָעorאוֹa bad oneרַעfor a good one;בְּטוֹבand ifוְאִםhe does substituteהָמֵר יָמִירone beastבְּהֵמָהfor another beast,בִּבְהֵמָהthenוְboth itהָיָה הוּאand its substituteוּתְמוּרָתוֹshall beיִהְיֶהholy.קֹּדֶשׁ
And ifוְאִםit is anyכָּלuncleanטְמֵאָהbeastבְּהֵמָהof whichאֲשֶׁר מִמֶּנָּהthey may notלֹאpresentיַקְרִיבוּan offeringקָרְבָּןto YHWH,לַיהוָהhe shall setוְהֶעֱמִידthe beastאֶת הַבְּהֵמָהbeforeלִפְנֵיthe priest,הַכֹּהֵן
and the priestוְ הַכֹּהֵןshall valueהֶעֱרִיךְit,אֹתָהּwhetherבֵּיןgoodטוֹבorוּבֵיןbad;רָעasכְּthe priestהַכֹּהֵןvalues it,עֶרְכְּךָsoכֵּןit shall be.יִהְיֶה
And ifוְאִםhe does wish to redeemגָּאֹל יִגְאָלֶit,נָּהhe shall addוְיָסַףa fifth of itחֲמִישִׁתוֹtoעַלits valuation.עֶרְכֶּךָ
And when a manוְאִישׁ כִּיconsecratesיַקְדִּשׁhis houseאֶת בֵּיתוֹas holyקֹדֶשׁto YHWH,לַיהוָהthe priestהַכֹּהֵןshall valueוְהֶעֱרִיכit,וֹwhetherבֵּיןgoodטוֹבorוּבֵיןbad;רָעasכַּאֲשֶׁרthe priestהַכֹּהֵןvaluesיַעֲרִיךְit,אֹתוֹsoכֵּןit shall stand.יָקוּם
And ifוְאִםthe one who consecrates itהַמַּקְדִּישׁredeemsיִגְאַלhis house,אֶת בֵּיתוֹhe shall addוְיָסַףa fifthחֲמִישִׁיתof the silverכֶּסֶףof its valuationעֶרְכְּךָto it,עָלָיוand it shall beוְהָיָהhis.לוֹ
And ifוְאִםa manאִישׁconsecratesיַקְדִּישׁto YHWHלַיהוָהpart of the fieldמִשְּׂדֵהof his possession,אֲחֻזָּתוֹthe valuationוְהָיָה עֶרְכְּךָshall be according toלְפִיits seed:זַרְעוֹa homerחֹמֶרof barleyשְׂעֹרִיםseedזֶרַעat fiftyבַּחֲמִשִּׁיםshekelsשֶׁקֶלof silver.כָּסֶף
Ifאִםhe consecratesיַקְדִּישׁhis fieldשָׂדֵהוּfrom the yearמִשְּׁנַתof jubilee,הַיֹּבֵלit shall standיָקוּםaccording to the valuation.כְּעֶרְכְּךָ
But ifוְאִםhe consecratesיַקְדִּישׁhis fieldשָׂדֵהוּafterאַחַרthe jubilee,הַיֹּבֵלthe priestהַכֹּהֵןshall calculateוְחִשַּׁבfor himלוֹthe silverאֶת הַכֶּסֶףaccording toעַל פִּיthe yearsהַשָּׁנִיםthat remainהַנּוֹתָרֹתuntilעַדthe yearשְׁנַתof jubilee,הַיֹּבֵלand it shall be deductedוְנִגְרַעfrom the valuation.מֵעֶרְכֶּךָ
And ifוְאִםthe one who consecratesהַמַּקְדִּישׁthe fieldאֶת הַשָּׂדֶהdoes redeemגָּאֹל יִגְאַלit,אֹתוֹhe shall addוְיָסַףa fifthחֲמִשִׁיתof the silverכֶּסֶףof its valuationעֶרְכְּךָto it,עָלָיוand it shall standוְקָםfor him.לוֹ
But ifוְאִםhe does notלֹאredeemיִגְאַלthe field,אֶת הַשָּׂדֶהor ifוְאִםhe has soldמָכַרthe fieldאֶת הַשָּׂדֶהto anotherאַחֵרman,לְאִישׁit shall notלֹאbe redeemedיִגָּאֵלanymore.עוֹד
And the field,וְ הַשָּׂדֶהwhen it goes freeבְּצֵאתוֹin the jubilee,בַיֹּבֵלshall beהָיָהholyקֹדֶשׁto YHWH,לַיהוָהlike a fieldכִּשְׂדֵהcompletely devoted;הַחֵרֶםit shall becomeתִּהְיֶהthe priest’sלַכֹּהֵןpossession.אֲחֻזָּתוֹ
And ifוְאִםhe consecratesיַקְדִּישׁto YHWHלַיהוָהa fieldאֶת שְׂדֵהhe has bought,מִקְנָתוֹwhichאֲשֶׁרis notלֹאpart of the fieldמִשְּׂדֵהof his possession,אֲחֻזָּתוֹ
then the priestוְ הַכֹּהֵןshall calculateחִשַּׁבfor himלוֹthe amountאֵת מִכְסַתof the valuationהָעֶרְכְּךָuntilעַדthe yearשְׁנַתof jubilee,הַיֹּבֵלand he shall giveוְנָתַןthe valuationאֶת הָעֶרְכְּךָon thatבַּ הַהוּאday,יּוֹםas holyקֹדֶשׁto YHWH.לַיהוָה
In the yearבִּשְׁנַתof jubileeהַיּוֹבֵלthe fieldהַשָּׂדֶהshall returnיָשׁוּבto the oneלַאֲשֶׁרfrom whomמֵאִתּוֹhe bought it,קָנָהוּto the oneלַאֲשֶׁרto whomלוֹthe possessionאֲחֻזַּתof the landהָאָרֶץbelongs.
And everyוְכָלvaluationעֶרְכְּךָshall beיִהְיֶהby the shekelבְּשֶׁקֶלof the sanctuary;הַקֹּדֶשׁtwentyעֶשְׂרִיםgerahsגֵּרָהshall beיִהְיֶהthe shekel.הַשָּׁקֶל
Butאַךְa firstborn,בְּכוֹרwhichאֲשֶׁרas a firstborn belongsיְבֻכַּרto YHWH,לַיהוָהamong the beasts,בִּבְהֵמָהnoלֹאmanאִישׁshall consecrateיַקְדִּישׁit;אֹתוֹwhetherאִםoxשׁוֹרorאִםlamb,שֶׂהitהוּאis YHWH’s.לַיהוָה
And ifוְאִםit is among the uncleanבַּ הַטְּמֵאָהbeasts,בְּהֵמָהhe shall ransom itוּפָדָהaccording to its valuationבְעֶרְכֶּךָand addוְיָסַףa fifth of itחֲמִשִׁתוֹto it;עָלָיוand ifוְאִםit is notלֹאredeemed,יִגָּאֵלit shall be soldוְנִמְכַּרaccording to its valuation.בְּעֶרְכֶּךָ
Butאַךְnothingכָּל לֹאcompletely devotedחֵרֶםthatאֲשֶׁרa manאִישׁcompletely devotesיַחֲרִםto YHWHלַיהוָהof allמִכָּלthatאֲשֶׁרhe has,לוֹwhether human beingמֵאָדָםor beastוּבְהֵמָהor fieldוּמִשְּׂדֵהof his possession,אֲחֻזָּתוֹshall be soldיִמָּכֵרorוְלֹאredeemed;יִגָּאֵלeveryכָּלdevoted thingחֵרֶםisהוּאmost holyקֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁיםto YHWH.לַיהוָה
Noכָּלone devoted to destructionחֵרֶםwhoאֲשֶׁרis devoted to destructionיָחֳרַםfrom amongמִןhuman beingsהָאָדָםshall be ransomed;לֹא יִפָּדֶהhe shall surelyמוֹתbe put to death.יוּמָת
And everyוְכָלtitheמַעְשַׂרof the land,הָאָרֶץof the seedמִזֶּרַעof the landהָאָרֶץor of the fruitמִפְּרִיof the tree,הָעֵץisהוּאYHWH’s;לַיהוָהit is holyקֹדֶשׁto YHWH.לַיהוָה
And ifוְאִםa manאִישׁdoes wish to redeemגָּאֹל יִגְאַלany of his tithe,מִמַּעַשְׂרוֹhe shall addיֹסֵףa fifth of itחֲמִשִׁיתוֹto it.עָלָיו
And everyוְכָלtitheמַעְשַׂרof the herdבָּקָרor of the flock,וָצֹאןallכֹּלthatאֲשֶׁרpassesיַעֲבֹרunderתַּחַתthe rod,הַשָּׁבֶטthe tenthהָעֲשִׂירִיshall beיִהְיֶהholyקֹּדֶשׁto YHWH.לַיהוָה
He shall notלֹאinquireיְבַקֵּרwhetherבֵּיןgoodטוֹבor bad,לָרַעand he shall notוְלֹאsubstitute for it;יְמִירֶנּוּand ifוְאִםhe does substitute for it,הָמֵר יְמִירֶנּוּthenוְהָיָהboth itהוּא וּand its substituteתְמוּרָתוֹshall beיִהְיֶהholy;קֹדֶשׁit shall notלֹאbe redeemed.”יִגָּאֵל
Theseאֵלֶּהare the commandmentsהַמִּצְוֺתthatאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהcommandedצִוָּהMosesאֶת מֹשֶׁהforאֶלthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלon MountבְּהַרSinai.סִינָי
