And he madeוַיַּעַשׂthe ephodאֶת הָאֵפֹדof gold,זָהָבblue,תְּכֵלֶתand purple,וְאַרְגָּמָןand scarlet,וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִיand twistedמָשְׁזָרfine linen.וְשֵׁשׁ
And they hammered outוַיְרַקְּעוּthe sheetsאֶת פַּחֵיof gold,הַזָּהָבand he cut themוְקִצֵּץinto threadsפְּתִילִםto work themלַעֲשׂוֹתintoבְּתוֹךְthe blue,הַתְּכֵלֶתand intoוּבְתוֹךְthe purple,הָאַרְגָּמָןand intoוּבְתוֹךְthe scarlet,תּוֹלַעַת הַשָּׁנִיand intoוּבְתוֹךְthe fine linen,הַשֵּׁשׁthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof a skilled craftsman.חֹשֵׁב
Shoulder piecesכְּתֵפֹתthey madeעָשׂוּfor it,לוֹjoining;חֹבְרֹתatעַלits twoשְׁנֵיendsקְצוֹתָיוit was joined.חֻבָּר
And the woven bandוְחֵשֶׁבof its ephodאֲפֻדָּתוֹthat wasאֲשֶׁרon itעָלָיוwasהוּאof one piece with it,מִמֶּנּוּof the same workmanship,כְּמַעֲשֵׂהוּof gold,זָהָבblue,תְּכֵלֶתand purple,וְאַרְגָּמָןand scarlet,וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִיand twistedמָשְׁזָרfine linen,וְשֵׁשׁasכַּאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhad commandedצִוָּהMoses.אֶת מֹשֶׁה
And they madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּthe onyxהַשֹּׁהַםstones,אֶת אַבְנֵיsetמֻסַבֹּתin settingsמִשְׁבְּצֹתof gold,זָהָבengravedמְפֻתָּחֹתwith the engravingsפִּתּוּחֵיof a sealחוֹתָםwith the namesעַל שְׁמוֹתof the sonsבְּנֵיof Israel.יִשְׂרָאֵל
And he putוַיָּשֶׂםthemאֹתָםon the shoulder piecesעַל כִּתְפֹתof the ephodהָאֵפֹדas stonesאַבְנֵיof memorialזִכָּרוֹןfor the sonsלִבְנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלasכַּאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhad commandedצִוָּהMoses.אֶת מֹשֶׁה
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂthe breastpiece,אֶת הַחֹשֶׁןthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof a skilled craftsman,חֹשֵׁבlike the workכְּמַעֲשֵׂהof the ephod:אֵפֹדof gold,זָהָבblue,תְּכֵלֶתand purple,וְאַרְגָּמָןand scarlet,וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִיand twistedמָשְׁזָרfine linen.וְשֵׁשׁ
It wasהָיָהsquare;רָבוּעַdoubledכָּפוּלthey madeעָשׂוּthe breastpiece,אֶת הַחֹשֶׁןa spanזֶרֶתits lengthאָרְכּוֹand a spanוְזֶרֶתits width,רָחְבּוֹdoubled.כָּפוּל
And they filledוַיְמַלְאוּitבוֹwith fourאַרְבָּעָהrowsטוּרֵיof stones:אָבֶןa rowטוּרof ruby,אֹדֶםtopaz,פִּטְדָהand emerald,וּבָרֶקֶתthe firstהָאֶחָדrow;הַטּוּר
and the secondוְ הַשֵּׁנִיrow,הַטּוּרturquoise,נֹפֶךְsapphire,סַפִּירand diamond;וְיָהֲלֹם
and the thirdוְ הַשְּׁלִישִׁיrow,הַטּוּרjacinth,לֶשֶׁםagate,שְׁבוֹand amethyst;וְאַחְלָמָה
and the fourthוְ הָרְבִיעִיrow,הַטּוּרchrysolite,תַּרְשִׁישׁonyx,שֹׁהַםand jasper;וְיָשְׁפֵהsetמוּסַבֹּתin settingsמִשְׁבְּצוֹתof goldזָהָבin their mountings.בְּמִלֻּאֹתָם
And the stonesוְהָאֲבָנִיםwereהֵנָּהaccording to the namesעַל שְׁמֹתof the sonsבְּנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלtwelve,שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵהaccording to their names;עַל שְׁמֹתָםwith the engravingsפִּתּוּחֵיof a seal,חֹתָםeachאִישׁaccording to its name,עַל שְׁמוֹfor the twelveלִשְׁנֵים עָשָׂרtribes.שָׁבֶט
And they madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּon the breastpieceעַל הַחֹשֶׁןchains,שַׁרְשְׁרֹתtwisted,גַּבְלֻתa workמַעֲשֵׂהof cord,עֲבֹתof pureטָהוֹרgold.זָהָב
And they madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּtwoשְׁתֵּיsettingsמִשְׁבְּצֹתof goldזָהָבand twoוּשְׁתֵּיringsטַבְּעֹתof gold,זָהָבand putוַיִּתְּנוּthe twoאֶת שְׁתֵּיringsהַטַּבָּעֹתon the twoעַל שְׁנֵיendsקְצוֹתof the breastpiece.הַחֹשֶׁן
And they putוַיִּתְּנוּthe twoשְׁתֵּיcordsהָעֲבֹתֹתof goldהַזָּהָבon the twoעַל שְׁתֵּיringsהַטַּבָּעֹתat the endsעַל קְצוֹתof the breastpiece.הַחֹשֶׁן
And the other twoוְאֵת שְׁתֵּיendsקְצוֹתof the twoשְׁתֵּיcordsהָעֲבֹתֹתthey putנָתְנוּon the twoעַל שְׁתֵּיsettings,הַמִּשְׁבְּצֹתand they put themוַיִּתְּנֻםon the shoulder piecesעַל כִּתְפֹתof the ephod,הָאֵפֹדat its front.אֶל מוּל פָּנָיו
And they madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּtwoשְׁתֵּיringsטַבְּעֹתof goldזָהָבand put themוַיָּשִׂימוּon the twoעַל שְׁנֵיendsקְצוֹתof the breastpiece,הַחֹשֶׁןon its edgeעַל שְׂפָתוֹthat wasאֲשֶׁרon the sideאֶל עֵבֶרof the ephodהָאֵפֹדinward.בָּיְתָה
And they madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּtwoשְׁתֵּיringsטַבְּעֹתof goldזָהָבand put themוַיִּתְּנֻםon the twoעַל שְׁתֵּיshoulder piecesכִתְפֹתof the ephodהָאֵפֹדbelow,מִלְמַטָּהat its front,מִמּוּל פָּנָיוclose toלְעֻמַּתits joining,מֶחְבַּרְתּוֹaboveמִמַּעַלthe woven bandלְחֵשֶׁבof the ephod.הָאֵפֹד
And they boundוַיִּרְכְּסוּthe breastpieceאֶת הַחֹשֶׁןby its ringsמִטַּבְּעֹתָיוto the ringsאֶל טַבְּעֹתof the ephodהָאֵפֹדwith a cordבִּפְתִילof blue,תְּכֵלֶתso that it would beלִהְיֹתon the woven bandעַל חֵשֶׁבof the ephod,הָאֵפֹדand the breastpieceהַחֹשֶׁןwould notוְלֹאcome looseיִזַּחfrom the ephod,מֵעַל הָאֵפֹדasכַּאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhad commandedצִוָּהMoses.אֶת מֹשֶׁה
And he madeוַיַּעַשׂthe robeאֶת מְעִילof the ephod,הָאֵפֹדthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof a weaver,אֹרֵגallכְּלִילof blue.תְּכֵלֶת
And the openingוּפִיof the robeהַמְּעִילwas in its middle,בְּתוֹכוֹlike the openingכְּפִיof a coat of mail,תַחְרָאwith a bindingשָׂפָהfor its openingלְפִיוall around,סָבִיבso that it would notלֹאbe torn.יִקָּרֵעַ
And they madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּon the hemעַל שׁוּלֵיof the robeהַמְּעִילpomegranatesרִמּוֹנֵיof blueתְּכֵלֶתand purpleוְאַרְגָּמָןand scarlet,וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִיtwisted.מָשְׁזָר
And they madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּbellsפַעֲמֹנֵיof pureטָהוֹרgoldזָהָבand putוַיִּתְּנוּthe bellsאֶת הַפַּעֲמֹנִיםbetweenבְּתוֹךְthe pomegranatesהָרִמֹּנִיםon the hemעַל שׁוּלֵיof the robeהַמְּעִילall around,סָבִיבbetweenבְּתוֹךְthe pomegranates:הָרִמֹּנִים
a bellפַּעֲמֹןand a pomegranate,וְרִמֹּןa bellפַּעֲמֹןand a pomegranate,וְרִמֹּןon the hemעַל שׁוּלֵיof the robeהַמְּעִילall around,סָבִיבfor ministering,לְשָׁרֵתasכַּאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhad commandedצִוָּהMoses.אֶת מֹשֶׁה
And they madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּthe tunicsאֶת הַכָּתְנֹתof fine linen,שֵׁשׁthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof a weaver,אֹרֵגfor Aaronלְאַהֲרֹןand for his sons;וּלְבָנָיו
and the turbanוְאֵת הַמִּצְנֶפֶתof fine linen,שֵׁשׁand the headdressesוְאֶת פַּאֲרֵיof the capsהַמִּגְבָּעֹתof fine linen,שֵׁשׁand the linenהַבָּדundergarmentsוְאֶת מִכְנְסֵיof twistedמָשְׁזָרfine linen;שֵׁשׁ
and the sashוְאֶת הָאַבְנֵטof twistedמָשְׁזָרfine linen,שֵׁשׁand blue,וּתְכֵלֶתand purple,וְאַרְגָּמָןand scarlet,וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִיthe workמַעֲשֵׂהof an embroiderer,רֹקֵםasכַּאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhad commandedצִוָּהMoses.אֶת מֹשֶׁה
And they madeוַיַּעֲשׂוּthe plateאֶת צִיץof the holyהַקֹּדֶשׁdiademנֵזֶרof pureטָהוֹרgold,זָהָבand wroteוַיִּכְתְּבוּon itעָלָיוan inscriptionמִכְתַּבwith the engravingsפִּתּוּחֵיof a seal:חוֹתָם“Holinessקֹדֶשׁto YHWH.”לַיהוָה
And they putוַיִּתְּנוּon itעָלָיוa cordפְּתִילof blueתְּכֵלֶתto fasten itלָתֵתon the turbanעַל הַמִּצְנֶפֶתabove,מִלְמָעְלָהasכַּאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhad commandedצִוָּהMoses.אֶת מֹשֶׁה
So allוַ כָּלthe laborעֲבֹדַתof the dwelling,מִשְׁכַּןthe tentאֹהֶלof meeting,מוֹעֵדwas finished;תֵּכֶלand the sonsוַ בְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלdidיַּעֲשׂוּaccording to allכְּכֹלthatאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhad commandedצִוָּהMoses;אֶת מֹשֶׁהsoכֵּןthey did.עָשׂוּ
And they broughtוַיָּבִיאוּthe dwellingאֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּןto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהthe tentאֶת הָאֹהֶלand allוְאֶת כָּלits utensils,כֵּלָיוits clasps,קְרָסָיוits boards,קְרָשָׁיוits bars,בְּרִיחָיוand its pillars,וְעַמֻּדָיוand its bases;וַאֲדָנָיו
and the coveringוְאֶת מִכְסֵהof rams’הָאֵילִםskinsעוֹרֹתdyed red,הַמְאָדָּמִיםand the coveringוְאֶת מִכְסֵהof fineהַתְּחָשִׁיםskins,עֹרֹתand the veilוְאֵת פָּרֹכֶתthat screens it;הַמָּסָךְ
the arkאֶת אֲרֹןof the testimonyהָעֵדֻתand its poles,וְאֶת בַּדָּיוand the cover of expiation;וְאֵת הַכַּפֹּרֶת
the table,אֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָןallאֶת כָּלits utensils,כֵּלָיוand the breadוְאֵת לֶחֶםof the presence;הַפָּנִים
the pureהַטְּהֹרָהlampstand,אֶת הַמְּנֹרָהits lamps,אֶת נֵרֹתֶיהָthe lampsנֵרֹתset in order,הַמַּעֲרָכָהand allוְאֶת כָּלits utensils,כֵּלֶיהָand the oilוְאֵת שֶׁמֶןfor the light;הַמָּאוֹר
and the goldenהַזָּהָבaltar,וְאֵת מִזְבַּחand the anointingהַמִּשְׁחָהoil,וְאֵת שֶׁמֶןand the fragrantהַסַּמִּיםincense,וְאֵת קְטֹרֶתand the screenוְאֵת מָסַךְof the entranceפֶּתַחof the tent;הָאֹהֶל
the bronzeהַנְּחֹשֶׁתaltarאֵת מִזְבַּחand the gratingוְאֶת מִכְבַּרof bronzeהַנְּחֹשֶׁתthat belongedאֲשֶׁרto it,לוֹits polesאֶת בַּדָּיוand allוְאֶת כָּלits utensils,כֵּלָיוthe basinאֶת הַכִּיֹּרand its stand;וְאֶת כַּנּוֹ
the hangingsאֵת קַלְעֵיof the courtyard,הֶחָצֵרits pillarsאֶת עַמֻּדֶיהָand its bases,וְאֶת אֲדָנֶיהָand the screenוְאֶת הַמָּסָךְfor the gateלְשַׁעַרof the courtyard,הֶחָצֵרits cordsאֶת מֵיתָרָיוand its pegs,וִיתֵדֹתֶיהָand allוְאֵת כָּלthe utensilsכְּלֵיfor the serviceעֲבֹדַתof the dwelling,הַמִּשְׁכָּןfor the tentלְאֹהֶלof meeting;מוֹעֵד
the wovenאֶת הַשְּׂרָדgarmentsבִּגְדֵיfor ministeringלְשָׁרֵתin the Holy Place,בַּקֹּדֶשׁthe holyהַקֹּדֶשׁgarmentsאֶת בִּגְדֵיfor Aaronלְאַהֲרֹןthe priest,הַכֹּהֵןand the garmentsוְאֶת בִּגְדֵיof his sonsבָנָיוto serve as priests.לְכַהֵן
According to allכְּכֹלthatאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhad commandedצִוָּהMoses,אֶת מֹשֶׁהsoכֵּןthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלdidעָשׂוּallאֵת כָּלthe labor.הָעֲבֹדָה
And Mosesוַ מֹשֶׁהsawיַּרְאallאֶת כָּלthe work,הַמְּלָאכָהand look,וְהִנֵּהthey had doneעָשׂוּit;אֹתָהּasכַּאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהhad commanded,צִוָּהsoכֵּןthey had done.עָשׂוּAnd Mosesוַ מֹשֶׁהblessedיְבָרֶךְthem.אֹתָם
