This isוְזֹאתthe instructionתּוֹרַתfor the guilt offering:הָאָשָׁםit isהוּאa most holy thing.קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים
In the placeבִּמְקוֹםwhereאֲשֶׁרthey slaughterיִשְׁחֲטוּthe burnt offeringהָעֹלָהthey shall slaughterיִשְׁחֲטוּthe guilt offering,הָאָשָׁםand its bloodוְ דָּמוֹhe shall splashיִזְרֹקagainstעַלthe altarהַמִּזְבֵּחַall around.סָבִיב
Allוְ כָּלits fatחֶלְבּוֹhe shall presentיַקְרִיבfrom it:מִמֶּנּוּthe fat tailהָאַלְיָהand the fatוְ הַחֵלֶבthat coversהַמְכַסֶּהthe entrails,הַקֶּרֶב
the twoוְ שְׁתֵּיkidneysהַכְּלָיֹתand the fatוְ הַחֵלֶבthat isאֲשֶׁרon them,עֲלֵיהֶןwhich isאֲשֶׁרonעַלthe loins,הַכְּסָלִיםand the lobeוְ הַיֹּתֶרֶתonעַלthe liver,הַכָּבֵדwhich he shall removeיְסִירֶנָּהwithעַלthe kidneys.הַכְּלָיֹת
The priestהַכֹּהֵןshall offer up in smokeוְהִקְטִירthemאֹתָםon the altarהַמִּזְבֵּחָהas a fire offeringאִשֶּׁהto YHWH;לַיהוָהit isהוּאa guilt offering.אָשָׁם
Everyכָּלmaleזָכָרamong the priestsבַּכֹּהֲנִיםmay eat it;יֹאכְלֶנּוּit shall be eatenיֵאָכֵלin a holyקָדוֹשׁplace;בְּמָקוֹםit isהוּאa most holy thing.קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים
As the sin offering,כַּחַטָּאתso the guilt offering;כָּאָשָׁםthere is oneאַחַתinstructionתּוֹרָהfor them:לָהֶםthe priestהַכֹּהֵןwhoאֲשֶׁרmakes expiationיְכַפֶּרwith it,בּוֹit shall beיִהְיֶהhis.לוֹ
And the priestוְהַכֹּהֵןwho presentsהַמַּקְרִיבanyone’sאִישׁburnt offering,עֹלַתthe skinעוֹרof the burnt offeringהָעֹלָהthatאֲשֶׁרhe has presentedהִקְרִיבshall belongיִהְיֶהto the priest,לַכֹּהֵןto him.לוֹ
And everyוְכָלgrain offeringמִנְחָהthatאֲשֶׁרis bakedתֵּאָפֶהin the oven,בַּתַּנּוּרand every oneוְכָלmadeנַעֲשָׂהin the panבַמַּרְחֶשֶׁתor onוְעַלa griddle,מַחֲבַתshall belongתִהְיֶהto the priestלַכֹּהֵןwho presentsהַמַּקְרִיבit,אֹתָהּto him.לוֹ
And everyוְכָלgrain offering,מִנְחָהmixedבְלוּלָהwith oilבַשֶּׁמֶןor dry,וַחֲרֵבָהshall belongתִּהְיֶהto allלְכָלthe sonsבְּנֵיof Aaron,אַהֲרֹןeach oneאִישׁlike his brother.כְּאָחִיו
This isוְזֹאתthe instructionתּוֹרַתfor the sacrificeזֶבַחof peaceהַשְּׁלָמִיםthatאֲשֶׁרone presentsיַקְרִיבto YHWH.לַיהוָה
Ifאִםhe presents itיַקְרִיבֶנּוּforעַלthanksgiving,תּוֹדָהthen he shall present,וְהִקְרִיבwithעַלthe sacrificeזֶבַחof thanksgiving,הַתּוֹדָהunleavenedמַצּוֹתcakesחַלּוֹתmixedבְּלוּלֹתwith oil,בַּשֶּׁמֶןand unleavenedוּ מַצּוֹתwafersרְקִיקֵיsmearedמְשֻׁחִיםwith oil,בַּשָּׁמֶןand fine flourוְסֹלֶתwell mixed,מֻרְבֶּכֶתcakesחַלֹּתmixedבְּלוּלֹתwith oil.בַּשָּׁמֶן
Withעַלcakesחַלֹּתof leavenedחָמֵץbreadלֶחֶםhe shall presentיַקְרִיבhis offeringקָרְבָּנוֹwithעַלhis sacrificeזֶבַח וof peaceשְׁלָמָיfor thanksgiving.תּוֹדַת
From itמִמֶּנּוּhe shall presentוְהִקְרִיבoneאֶחָדfrom eachמִכָּלofferingקָרְבָּןas a contributionתְּרוּמָהto YHWH;לַיהוָהit shall belongיִהְיֶהto the priestלַכֹּהֵןwho splashesהַזֹּרֵקthe bloodדַּםof the peace offerings,הַשְּׁלָמִיםto him.לוֹ
The fleshוּבְשַׂרof his sacrificeזֶבַח וof peaceשְׁלָמָיfor thanksgivingתּוֹדַתshall be eatenיֵאָכֵלon the dayבְּיוֹםof his offering;קָרְבָּנוֹhe shall notלֹאleaveיַנִּיחַany of itמִמֶּנּוּuntilעַדmorning.בֹּקֶר
But ifוְאִםthe sacrificeזֶבַחof his offeringקָרְבָּנוֹis a vowנֶדֶרorאוֹa freewill offering,נְדָבָהit shall be eatenיֵאָכֵלon the dayבְּיוֹםhe presentsהַקְרִיבוֹhis sacrifice,זִבְחוֹand on the next dayוּמִמָּחֳרָתwhat is leftוְהַנּוֹתָרof itמִמֶּנּוּmay be eaten.יֵאָכֵל
What is leftוְהַנּוֹתָרof the fleshמִבְּשַׂרof the sacrificeהַזָּבַחon the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁיdayבַּיּוֹםshall be burnedיִשָּׂרֵףwith fire.בָּאֵשׁ
And ifוְאִםany of the fleshמִבְּשַׂרof his sacrificeזֶבַח וof peaceשְׁלָמָיis everהֵאָכֹלeatenיֵאָכֵלon the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁיday,בַּיּוֹםit shall notלֹאbe accepted;יֵרָצֶהfor the one who presentsהַמַּקְרִיבit,אֹתוֹit shall notלֹאbe creditedיֵחָשֵׁבto him;לוֹit shall beיִהְיֶהa repulsive thing,פִּגּוּלand the personוְהַנֶּפֶשׁwho eatsהָאֹכֶלֶתof itמִמֶּנּוּshall bearתִּשָּׂאhis iniquity.עֲוֺנָהּ
The fleshוְהַבָּשָׂרthatאֲשֶׁרtouchesיִגַּעanythingבְּכָלuncleanטָמֵאshall notלֹאbe eaten;יֵאָכֵלit shall be burnedיִשָּׂרֵףwith fire.בָּאֵשׁAs for the other flesh,וְהַבָּשָׂרeveryoneכָּלwho is cleanטָהוֹרmay eatיֹאכַלflesh.בָּשָׂר
But the personוְהַנֶּפֶשׁwhoאֲשֶׁרeatsתֹּאכַלfleshבָּשָׂרfrom the sacrificeמִזֶּבַחof peaceהַשְּׁלָמִיםthat belongsאֲשֶׁרto YHWHלַיהוָהwhile his uncleannessוְטֻמְאָתוֹis on him,עָלָיוthatהַהִואpersonהַנֶּפֶשׁshall be cut offוְנִכְרְתָהfrom his people.מֵעַמֶּיהָ
And whenוְ כִּיa personנֶפֶשׁtouchesתִגַּעanythingבְּכָלunclean,טָמֵאwhether humanאָדָםuncleannessבְּטֻמְאַתorאוֹan uncleanטְמֵאָהbeastבִּבְהֵמָהorאוֹanyבְּכָלuncleanטָמֵאdetestable thing,שֶׁקֶץand eatsוְאָכַלof the fleshמִבְּשַׂרof the sacrificeזֶבַחof peaceהַשְּׁלָמִיםthat belongsאֲשֶׁרto YHWH,לַיהוָהthatהַהִואpersonהַנֶּפֶשׁshall be cut offוְנִכְרְתָהfrom his people.”מֵעַמֶּיהָ
YHWHיְהוָהspokeוַיְדַבֵּרto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהsaying,לֵּאמֹר
“Speakדַּבֵּרto the sonsאֶל בְּנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלsaying:לֵאמֹרYou shall notלֹאeatתֹאכֵלוּanyכָּלfatחֵלֶבof oxשׁוֹרor lambוְכֶשֶׂבor goat.וָעֵז
The fatוְחֵלֶבof a carcassנְבֵלָהand the fatוְחֵלֶבof an animal torn by beastsטְרֵפָהmay be usedיֵעָשֶׂהfor anyלְכָלother work,מְלָאכָהbut you shall certainly notוְאָכֹל לֹאeat it.תֹאכְלֻהוּ
Forכִּיwhoeverכָּלeatsאֹכֵלthe fatחֵלֶבofמִןthe beastהַבְּהֵמָהfrom whichאֲשֶׁר מִמֶּנָּהone presentsיַקְרִיבa fire offeringאִשֶּׁהto YHWH,לַיהוָהthe personהַנֶּפֶשׁwho eats itהָאֹכֶלֶתshall be cut offוְנִכְרְתָהfrom his people.מֵעַמֶּיהָ
And you shall notוְ לֹאeatתֹאכְלוּanyכָלblood,דָּםwhether of birdלָעוֹףor of beast,וְלַבְּהֵמָהinבְּanyכֹלof your dwellings.מוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם
Anyכָּלpersonנֶפֶשׁwhoאֲשֶׁרeatsתֹּאכַלanyכָּלblood,דָּםthatהַהִואpersonהַנֶּפֶשׁshall be cut offוְנִכְרְתָהfrom his people.”מֵעַמֶּיהָ
YHWHיְהוָהspokeוַיְדַבֵּרto Moses,אֶל מֹשֶׁהsaying,לֵּאמֹר
“Speakדַּבֵּרto the sonsאֶל בְּנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלsaying:לֵאמֹרThe one who presentsהַמַּקְרִיבhis sacrificeזֶבַחof peaceשְׁלָמָיוto YHWHלַיהוָהshall bringיָבִיאhis offeringקָרְבָּנוֹto YHWHלַיהוָהfrom his sacrificeמִזֶּבַחof peace.שְׁלָמָיו
His own handsיָדָיוshall bringתְּבִיאֶינָהthe fire offeringsאִשֵּׁיof YHWH;יְהוָהthe fatהַחֵלֶבwithעַלthe breastהֶחָזֶהhe shall bringיְבִיאֶנּוּ—the breastהֶחָזֶהto waveלְהָנִיףitאֹתוֹas a wave offeringתְּנוּפָהbeforeלִפְנֵיYHWH.יְהוָה
The priestהַכֹּהֵןshall offer up in smokeוְהִקְטִירthe fatהַחֵלֶבon the altar,הַמִּזְבֵּחָהbut the breastוְ הֶחָזֶהshall belongהָיָהto Aaronלְאַהֲרֹןand to his sons.וּלְבָנָיו
And the rightוְ הַיָּמִיןthighשׁוֹקyou shall giveתִּתְּנוּas a contributionתְרוּמָהto the priestלַכֹּהֵןfrom your sacrificesמִזִּבְחֵיof peace.שַׁלְמֵיכֶם
The one among the sonsמִבְּנֵיof Aaronאַהֲרֹןwho presentsהַמַּקְרִיבthe bloodדַּםof the peace offeringsהַשְּׁלָמִיםand the fatוְ הַחֵלֶבshall haveלוֹ תִהְיֶהthe rightהַיָּמִיןthighשׁוֹקas a portion.לְמָנָה
Forכִּיthe breastחֲזֵהof the wave offeringהַתְּנוּפָהand the thighוְ שׁוֹקof the contributionהַתְּרוּמָהI have takenלָקַחְתִּיfromמֵאֵתthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israel,יִשְׂרָאֵלfrom their sacrificesמִזִּבְחֵיof peace,שַׁלְמֵיהֶםand I have givenוָאֶתֵּןthemאֹתָםto Aaronלְאַהֲרֹןthe priestהַכֹּהֵןand to his sonsוּלְבָנָיוas a statuteלְחָקforeverעוֹלָםfromמֵאֵתthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israel.יִשְׂרָאֵל
This isזֹאתthe portionמִשְׁחַתof Aaronאַהֲרֹןand the portionוּמִשְׁחַתof his sonsבָּנָיוfrom the fire offeringsמֵאִשֵּׁיof YHWH,יְהוָהon the dayבְּיוֹםhe broughtהִקְרִיבthemאֹתָםnear to serve as priestsלְכַהֵןto YHWH,לַיהוָה
whichאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהcommandedצִוָּהto be givenלָתֵתto themלָהֶםon the dayבְּיוֹםhe anointedמָשְׁחוֹthem,אֹתָםfromמֵאֵתthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israel;יִשְׂרָאֵלit is a statuteחֻקַּתforeverעוֹלָםthroughout their generations.”לְדֹרֹתָם
This isזֹאתthe instructionהַתּוֹרָהfor the burnt offering,לָעֹלָהfor the grain offering,לַמִּנְחָהfor the sin offering,וְלַחַטָּאתfor the guilt offering,וְלָאָשָׁםfor the ordination,וְלַמִּלּוּאִיםand for the sacrificeוּלְזֶבַחof peace,הַשְּׁלָמִים
whichאֲשֶׁרYHWHיְהוָהcommandedצִוָּהMosesאֶת מֹשֶׁהon MountבְּהַרSinai,סִינָיon the dayבְּיוֹםhe commandedצַוֺּתוֹthe sonsבְּנֵיof Israelיִשְׂרָאֵלto presentלְהַקְרִיבtheir offeringsקָרְבְּנֵיהֶםto YHWH,לַיהוָהin the wildernessבְּמִדְבַּרof Sinai.סִינָי
