BeforeלִפְנֵיEphraimאֶפְרַיִםand Benjaminוּבִנְיָמִןand Manasseh,וּמְנַשֶּׁהstir upעוֹרְרָהyour might,אֶת גְּבוּרָתֶךָand comeוּלְכָהfor our salvation.לִישֻׁעָתָה לָּנוּ
Elohim,אֱלֹהִיםbring us back;הֲשִׁיבֵנוּand makeוְהָאֵרyour faceפָּנֶיךָshine,הָאֵרand we will be saved.וְנִוָּשֵׁעָה
YHWHיְהוָהElohimאֱלֹהִיםTsevaot,צְבָאוֹתhow longעַד מָתַיwill you fumeעָשַׁנְתָּagainst the prayerבִּתְפִלַּתof your people?עַמֶּךָ
You have fed themהֶאֱכַלְתָּםthe breadלֶחֶםof tears,דִּמְעָהand given them to drinkוַתַּשְׁקֵמוֹtearsבִּדְמָעוֹתin great measure.שָׁלִישׁ
You make usתְּשִׂימֵנוּa contentionמָדוֹןfor our neighbors,לִשְׁכֵנֵינוּand our enemiesוְאֹיְבֵינוּmockיִלְעֲגוּamong themselves.לָמוֹ
ElohimאֱלֹהִיםTsevaot,צְבָאוֹתbring us back;הֲשִׁיבֵנוּand makeוְהָאֵרyour faceפָּנֶיךָshine,הָאֵרand we will be saved.וְנִוָּשֵׁעָה
A vineגֶּפֶןout of Egyptמִמִּצְרַיִםyou pulled up;תַּסִּיעַyou drove outתְּגָרֵשׁnationsגּוֹיִםand planted it.וַתִּטָּעֶהָ
You cleared the groundפִּנִּיתָbefore it,לְפָנֶיהָand it struckוַתַּשְׁרֵשׁits rootsשָׁרָשֶׁיהָand filledוַתְּמַלֵּאthe land.אָרֶץ
The mountainsהָרִיםwere coveredכָּסּוּwith its shade,צִלָּהּand with its boughsוַעֲנָפֶיהָthe cedarsאַרְזֵיof El.אֵל
It sent outתְּשַׁלַּחits branchesקְצִירֶהָtoעַדthe sea,יָםand to the Riverוְאֶל נָהָרits shoots.יוֹנְקוֹתֶיהָ
Whyלָמָּהhave you broken throughפָּרַצְתָּits fences,גְדֵרֶיהָandוְallכָּלwho passעֹבְרֵיalong the wayדָרֶךְpick its grapes?אָרוּהָ
The boarחֲזִירfrom the forestמִיָּעַרgnaws at it,יְכַרְסְמֶנָּהand what movesוְזִיזin the fieldשָׂדַיfeeds on it.יִרְעֶנָּה
ElohimאֱלֹהִיםTsevaot,צְבָאוֹתreturn,שׁוּבplease;נָאlookהַבֵּטfrom the heavensמִשָּׁמַיִםand see,וּרְאֵהand attend toוּפְקֹדthisזֹאתvine,גֶּפֶן
and the stockוְכַנָּהthatאֲשֶׁרyour right handיְמִינֶךָplanted,נָטְעָהand the sonוְעַל בֵּןwhom you made strongאִמַּצְתָּהfor yourself.לָּךְ
It is burnedשְׂרֻפָהwith fire,בָאֵשׁcut down;כְּסוּחָהat the rebukeמִגַּעֲרַתof your faceפָּנֶיךָthey perish.יֹאבֵדוּ
Letתְּהִיyour handיָדְךָbeתְּהִיupon the manעַל אִישׁof your right hand,יְמִינֶךָupon the sonעַל בֶּןof manאָדָםwhom you made strongאִמַּצְתָּfor yourself.לָּךְ
And we will notוְלֹאturn backנָסוֹגfrom you;מִמֶּךָּyou will give us life,תְּחַיֵּנוּand on your nameוּבְשִׁמְךָwe will call.נִקְרָא
